Hay Mark Knoller, it didn’tconcern you or Mitt Romney when he continue to show that welfare ad which was a lie. Even the President who sign welfare reform said Romney ad was a big fat lie, it didn’t stop Romney from showing it did it Mr. Knoller.

I always knew that the SC was at stake, but this puts the stakes in very graphic detail (pun intended). Doesn’t get any clearer than that.

Chips, you don’t need to use twitpic to upload the pic.

Use the camera icon at the bottom left corner of twit box and upload the pic directly from your puter to the tweet so that it appears in the tweet itself.

Monday, Sep 17, 2012: Another Day,Another LIE About Obama. Romney Now Claiming Obama Didn’t Discuss Unemployment During DNC Speech

    Monday, Sep 17, 2012 12:28 PM CDT

Romney speech: Another fib about Obama

Mitt Romney will deliver an address to the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce later today, and in addition to some lip service on immigration, the candidate will go after President Obama’s speech at the Democratic
National Convention. “I expected the President, at his convention, to
talk about the unemployed and to unveil a jobs plan. Astonishingly, he
did not. I have a plan, and my plan for a stronger middle class will
create 12 million jobs by the end of my first term,” Romney will say,
according to excerpts released to reporters this morning.
The attack turns the tables on the one Democrats, via Sen. John Kerry, leveled against Romney’s convention speech for leaving out any
reference to troops serving abroad or to the war in Afghanistan. But
    unlike Kerry’s speech, Romney’s isn’t exactly true.
While the word “unemployed” didn’t appear anywhere in Obama’s speech, Obama did talk
about people who lost their jobs. “And when the house of cards collapsed in the Great Recession, millions of innocent Americans lost their jobs, their homes, their life savings,” he said in Charlotte two weeks ago. “I’ve shared the pain of families who’ve
lost their homes, and the frustration of workers who’ve lost their
    jobs,” he added later.
If Obama didn’t unveil a new jobs plan it’s because he’s already put several forward, including one he introduced
in a major televised address last year and helpfully named the American JOBS Act, part of which he signed into law in April. It’d be fair for Romney to
criticize what was a pretty weak piece of legislation, but not to claim
that Obama has no plan at all. And in his convention speech, Obama
talked at length about creating jobs, especially in manufacturing and
    green technologies.
So it’s worth asking if Romney could be held to his own standard. In fact, in his big convention speech, Romney also did not mention the word “unemployed” (or any variation thereof). His
only reference to people who lost jobs was this: “when you lost that job that paid $22.50 an hour with benefits, you took two jobs at 9 bucks an hour and fewer benefits.” Romney actually talked about “jobs” slightly
less than Obama, mentioning the word 15 times compared to Obama’s 16.
It’s a minor mischaracterization and easily checkable, but it comes after a
long line of other falsehoods and misleading statements that perhaps
make explain why Americans find Romney less “honest and trustworthy” than Obama.

Romney lies and flip flops so much I refuse to even consider listening or reading anything he blathers about and suggest all I know to do the same.

For those who are interested in an in-depth analysis of the state of the 2012 race check out this memo by Doug Sosnick, a former Clinton adviser. http://www.scribd.com/doc/106097794/Ds-Fall-Elections-9-14-2012-Final-Memo It is brought to us by Mark Halperin unfortunately so I am including the direct link to the memo. It appears to be pretty objective and has some interesting insights on page 8 about the future of our political parties for 2016 and beyond.

    Anyone here???? This is EXCELLENT!

On Fox News Channel yesterday, Romney said, “I think people would like to be paying taxes.” Can you imagine this quote as the new campaign slogan? Hell, we’re totally through the looking glass here. Now more than ever. A Republican candidate talking about getting people to pay more taxes. Skin. Everyone has to pay their fair share. Mitt Romney has become an Occupy Wall Street hippie!

We covered this briefly yesterday while everyone was scrambling to dissect the videos as they blasted through the tubes, but it bears repeating. Out of the 47 percent who were non-payers in 2011, 60 percent paid payroll taxes (Medicare and Social Security), 22 percent were senior citizens, 8 percent earned less than $20,000 or were unemployed, and the rest included Romney’s wealthy friends who either paid a zero percent effective tax rate or only paid capital gains taxes. Once again, as Bruce Bartlett explained: “There are 78,000 tax filers with incomes of $211,000 to $533,000 who will pay no federal income taxes this year. Even more amazingly, there are 24,000 households with incomes of $533,000 to $2.2 million with zero income tax liability, and 3,000 tax filers with incomes above $2.2 million with the same federal income tax liability as most of those with incomes barely above the poverty level.” (Bartlett’s actual career bio: “Bruce Bartlett held senior policy roles in the Reagan and George H.W. Bush administrations and served on the staffs of Representatives Jack Kemp and Ron Paul.”)

I still want to see Romney’s tax returns. Now more than ever.

Bob then goes on to explain why the wealthy need to put THEIR skin in the game for a change!!!
