AP: It’s that birther thing again.
President Barack Obama was at an Orlando sports bar …. when he walked up to a table with five children. One adult points to one of the boys, 7-year-old Andre Wupperman of Orlando, and informs the president that the boy was born in Hawaii, the president’s native state.
The president, delighted, greeted the boy with a Shaka sign, the pinky and thumb gesture typical of Hawaiian culture. The boy gestured back.
“You were born in Hawaii?” the president said. Then he added teasingly: “You have a birth certificate?”
The patrons at Gator’s Dockside, clearly aware of the discredited claims that Obama was not born in the United States, broke up laughing.

Morning everyone 😉 I’m waaaaaaaaaaaaaay behind with replying to emails – again – but I’ll catch up soon, promise!

One Simple Graphic About Jobs That Will Make You Very Angry
http://front.moveon.org/one-simple-graphic-about-jobs-that-will-make-you-very-angry/
I thought it would show the graphic….thanks for this, Ladyhawke!!!
I look at all the joyful Obama crowds and then see this sign at the Willard gathering. Doesn’t this just say it all about the “enthusiasm gap”?
Sorry, didn’t see this in your post, chips —–too much in a hurry with this beauty—-because I couldn’t believe it. (If you sit in this section, you will be on TV and you will have to uncross your arms, remove those pinched, angry faces, pretend you like Willard even tho you don’t, clap and cheer when we give you the signal even tho you don’t feel like it)
This is AMAZING.
Good Morning all!
G’morning Chips,TOD, everyone, and congratulations Jay on #1 !! I can see you’re FIRED UP today, and so am I 🙂
Good Morning TODweb Villagers. I have been trying to catch up since last evening. Like Duddette and her sister, I went to NC with my sister. We came back at 1:25PM yesterday afternoon I unpacked ate relaxed and checked in here and went to bed. I got up and started catching up at about 3am. I has been a delicious time since last Monday, the day we departed for NC. I can’t top Duddette. My sister went to a forum where the FLOTUS and Dr. Biden spoke. Rep Lewis was there. Fran Drascher(sp) spoke.
I am still so beside myself. My fingers are just shaking and I am totally not capable of telling you all my experiences. It was just over the top.
WOW Nena…excited just reading your brief report. I don’t think anyone who attended that convention can honestly say that they weren’t fired up (unless you were a Romney supporter of course).
Thank you Lady Hopefruit2. One of my irks since the late 1990s and especially since 2002 is the TX electoral predicament. I made sure that I tried to engage as many Texans as I could find. And most importantly as time allowed. I was so impressed with both Castros……handsome twins. Once Dems get back TX, the TBGOPers would be in the wilderness for 40 yrs.
Nena20409! I’m so excited for you! I totally get it. Sometimes experiences like this leave us speechless and a bit overwhelmed. You must have had a terrific time. Please share as much as you can when you find the words. We’d love to hear what you saw and how you felt.
Thanks Meta. I will try. What I might end up doing as my nerves calm down is tell little stories at a time. I really should not try to do the brilliantly detailed accounts that Duddette did. She was fantastic. I will pipe in as much as I can, intermittently. That way, perhaps, I can tell my story without rambling on so much. I am notorious in going off point.
I do think it’s easier that way. And the fun thing is that telling one little tidbit often reminds us of even more little tidbits.
I was at the 2008 convention. Seeing the In Memoriam video at this year’s convention reminded me that I rode an elevator and went to a talk with Richard Holbrooke. Zap! Just like that.
Afternoon Meta, I’m just signing on! I have obviously missed Dudette’s report on her trip to NC. CAN YOU PLEASE, PLEASE DIRECT ME TO DUDETTE’S REPORT? I asked her yesterday, but assumed she missed my comment or didn’t want to share so I didn’t persist. Now Nena’s comment suggests she already had. I do so want to read her comments. May I please get a link to it or some guidelines as to which post it’s in? PLEASE PLEASE with chocolate on top! THANKS!!!
I FOUND IT, Meta! Don’t worry. I’m going back to read it now. 😀 😀 😀
Thanks Nena. I’ll be looking forward to each little tidbit. 😆
Goooooooooood Morning everyone….sipping coffee….having a leisure morning today….browsing thru the Speeches this morning…

Hahahahahahaha….so freaking true. Everyone knows about that kind of date.

Good gawd, except I would never date a Republican!
Ain’t that the truth.
Good mor ing everyone. Still overwhelmed by the Democratic awesomeness of last week, the top-notch coverage here, and the leadership of Chips and the participation of all of the TOD family here and abroad. A shout out also to the Lurkers.
I am so proud of my fellow Floridians who came out in such numbers and showered such love on PBO this weekend. For most of my life (58 years), this state has been a repug swamp and a place of despair for Democrats. PBO has changed that.
Have a lovely day everyone.
Chips, really loved the video from the last thread. It is in my top 10 of the many that you have produced. We are so lucky to receive such gifts from you; you rock!
Michelle Obama on David Letterman Top Ten…
http://www.cbs.com/shows/late_show/video/2276200504/david-letterman-michelle-obama-convention-top-ten
I enjoy “The Economist” as un unbiased source of information as one can find these days and because of this the often uncomfortable truths are brought out, whatever they may be. I would imagine that the Administration considers The Economist as a good resource for gauging how their politics are viewed from a business perspective. This article was interesting; below is an excerpt from: “The Convention: Barack Obama’s pitch to the centre”:
PERHAPS because there are so few of them, campaign strategists for both Barack Obama and Mitt Romney can describe the undecided voters who will help determine the outcome of this year’s election with remarkable precision. On Thursday evening in Charlotte, North Carolina, on the last night of the Democratic convention, Mr Obama made his case for re-election directly to those elusive swing voters.
Who are they? At Mr Romney’s campaign headquarters in Boston recently, senior aides told your correspondent that their target swing voter was a married, middle-class, middle-aged woman who voted for Mr Obama in 2008. Inspired by his promises and swept up in the excitement of electing America’s first black president, such voters now feel deeply disappointed by the president’s actual record, it was asserted. In Tampa last week, Republicans predicted that the president, unable to run on his record, would have to mount a negative campaign and seek to suppress Mr Romney’s vote, paving the way for a grim, ground-out victory on the backs of the various special-interest groups that make up the Democratic base.
http://www.economist.com/blogs/democracyinamerica/2012/09/democratic-convention-0?fsrc=scn/tw/te/bl/pitchtothecenter
“Strikingly (and to his credit), the president made a more centrist, positive pitch in his acceptance speech. There were some clever swipes at the Republicans, but Mr Obama also touted his own record and told those who had backed him in 2008 that it was their record, too, seeking to anchor them in his camp. The disappointment question (all that hope and change) was deftly handled. The relationship between Mr Obama and his supporters had matured, you see, from a passionate affair to something more significant.”
and it goes on from there. Great article forus50. Thanks for the link
” from a passionate affair to something more significant.”…yes that sounds like us…but the passion is still there, but it burns deeper.
Anyone who knows the President’s “actual record” and has been paying attention to the obstruction and incivility from the right, would never describe themselves as being “deeply disappointed”. They’d use words like: proud, awestruck, encouraged, inspired, grateful. And given that the President spoke about many of the same things he spoke about in 2008, which he’d like to continue to pursue in his second term – I’m not sure how that can be described as “moving to the center”. Personally, I think by tackling climate change and immigration in his speech, he actually moved more to the left. I get your point about the Economist, but I think they got this wrong. They fell into the trap of the “beltway wisdom” and are judging the President by those standards, rather than by reality. If they had asked those disappointed voters for specifics about his “actual record”, they may have found that they got talking points instead of actual facts.
Good Sunday morning Everyone, I am still on a massive high from the Convention. I viewed PBO’s speech in Kissimmee last night and I was laughing and smiling like a fool ( I was alone in the house) he was truly loved by the audience and they were not afraid to show it. Florida loves our President Obama and First lady.
As a citizen from another country (Jamaica) who really wished that I was able to help with President Obama’s re-election, I would like to thank all of you who work so hard everyday to get this so very special man a second term in office to continue his mission of re-building America and by extension the World.
Have a great day knowing that millions around the world are praying for him and for you all.
Hello 1jam, we appreciate emotional support and encouragement from all our friends abroad! We have TODers who are from (and/or living in) Africa, UK, Australia, Ireland, Canada, India, Barbados, Trinidad/Tobago, Montserrat, Jamaica, and elsewhere. The world is with our President and is rooting for him and for our country. We cannot thank you enough for all this support – it is vital.
Republicans Are Killing Job Creation and Recovery

Apparently MK didn’t like PBO joking with the little boy.
Um………….. Okay? 🙄 this guy is a piece of work.
We cut him up on Twitter. Here are just a few responses among MANY, many others:
Did Knoller tweet anything about Robney mocking the Pledge of Allegiance?
Of course not. Nor did he tweet his usual “by my count” numbers..because PBO had 11K compared to Romneys few hundred. Knoller is an old fool.

Twitter has gone on the attack – about 200:1 against knoller – I like this one
Why have you never tweeted “imagine the outcry if Obama refused to release his tax returns?”

That was wonderful! I felt as if I was with you, seeing he sights and feeling the joy and the lve.
I am so glad you went; because of you, we did too.

If Republican Economics Were So Good, Why Did America Need a Stimulus to Boost Jobs?
By Benjamin Feinblum
————————————————
What should we remember about Bush?
1. Republicans in Congress today sent Bush all the legislation that he signed and helped him ruin the economy.
2. Republicans voted overwhelmingly against the stimulus, which led to a 1 million job per month swing in the economy and 12.4% swing in gross domestic product.
3. Republicans thought Obama might become too successful after 4,500,000 jobs were added, so they blocked 19 more jobs bills, refusing to even debate tax cuts for small businesses because then they would be on record blocking them.
Note: Republicans are now facing a backlash for blocking 19 jobs bills because America is learning what they did to help the economy with their time in Congress. Read more on that.
4. Romney has hired some of Bush’s economic team because they did such good work last time.
In short, Romney wants to return to Bush and Republican style economics.
Republican economic policies ruined America. We are still sorting through some of the charred wreckage from the last Republican-controlled Congress and Presidency. Republicans’ biggest complaint after their economic policy burnt the house down leaving everyone’s fathers, mothers, neighbors, and relatives unemployed is that Democrats have not cleaned up Republicans’ mess fast enough.

So folks, it’s beginning to look more and more that PBO will win this election. So what does the MSM do – try to give Bill Clinton all the credit while seriously diminishing any or everything that PBO has done or will do in this campaign.
Bill Clinton gave a fantastic speech in a convention that was supremely well-organized, coherent, inspiring, diverse, and which included a line-up of excellent speakers from the first night through the last. Most importantly, Clinton’s speech resonated so well BECAUSE of whom he spoke about. His speech was not an anomaly; it was consistent with an already top-notch event.
In the case the MSM is trying to rewrite history, let’s remind them that PBO went into the DNC convention already with momentum and advantage in the polls. This had been the result of months of PBO’s campaigning himself, the mother-of-all volunteer organizations extraordinaire – OFA, the numerous donors including you, me and our friends/families who donated whenever we could, the efforts of our friends on Twitter, and other social media or blogsites who have worked tirelessly to correct the MSM/GOP lies, omissions, thereby helping to create a less apathetic, more informed and politically savvy electorate.
So while we are grateful and acknowledge Clinton’s amazing performance at the DNC, we need to push back on the MSM’s efforts to diminish PBO in the process and let them know that we KNOW that without Barack Obama, there would be no Bill Clinton’s speech at DNC to speak of.
Mrs Obama was the Beginning, re-introduction, reconnecting, reaffirming and basically saying…..This is who my husband is. Pres Clinton did two things. He told what was, what had happened. He contrasted that with what the Right did and easily contrasted those to REALITY. Pres Obama using just 5 points to conclude. None of the way the 3 day convention events went happened by accident. They Built IT.
Nena, you are right they built it! It helps to have a record and a vision with truth on your side.
Hf, I know what you’re saying and I believe pushback is important because the corporate-owned media has been given orders never to acknowledge the president or his accomplishments. On the other hand, no one has a yard sign or bumper sticker with Bill Clinton’s name on it and on election day no one is going to see the name Clinton on their ballots. They will be pressing the button for Barack Obama and at this point that’s all I want. This campaign has revealed in very stark outline the utter worthlessness of a media driven by the need to propagandize, rather than report the facts. If there are still people who give the tv blowhards credibility, I feel sorry for them. The corporate owners of the media empires see their dreams of propping up Romney and making him credible falling apart. They can’t fault their own judgment so it has to be some other force that’s changed the dynamic, not the president they have spent four years dismissing and undermining. If Americans can overcome media lies, Citizen’s United corporate gazillions and voter suppression to re-elect the best president in my lifetime, then the people of this country will have shown that we’re really worthy to be called a great nation.
I’m going to push back just real hard…when I get my ballot in October. I will vote for our President, one last time, and then toddle down to the Auditor’s office and place my ballot in the box mounted on the counter. Take that MSM.

The Department of Interior, USDA and DOE has really helped this Community.
They deserve some help, and this President has focused on them.
PBO has respected Native Americans like no other President has ever dreamed of doing. As a candidate, he met with the Crow Nation on their reservation. As POTUS, appointed a liaison who has ongoing meetings, settled the 1999 lawsuit over mismanagement of government trust funds, signed The Tribal Law and Order Act to implement investigation and prosecution in cases of rape, appointed Jodi Gillette as Senior Policy Advisor for Native American Affairs. The Native American community love this President.

I’ve passed it on to one of my fellow teachers at work and told my Republican dad that he should look in the mail, I would be sending him a copy:)
thanks for the recommendation–so many political books out there!
Desertflower, same here. I just sent a gift copy of “The New New Deal” by Grunwald to a friend. Concur, excellent read. A must read to share and be informed.HZ
hopefully this book will be read by lot so swing voters! as my husband says, the creek won’t clear till you get alll the hogs out, and that means all the rethug party-of-no obstructionists.
‘ These Republicans “have become more loyal to party than to country,” the authors write, so “the political system has become grievously hobbled at a time when the country faces unusually serious problems and grave threats. . . . The country is squandering its economic future and putting itself at risk because of an inability to govern effectively.” ‘

Don’t Ask What Good We Do – Robert Draper Book:
GOP’s Anti-Obama Campaign Started Night Of Inauguration
————————–
WASHINGTON — As President Barack Obama was celebrating his inauguration at various balls, top Republican lawmakers and strategists were conjuring up ways to submarine his presidency at a private dinner in Washington.
The event — which provides a telling revelation for how quickly the post-election climate soured — serves as the prologue of Robert Draper’s much-discussed and heavily-reported new book, “Do Not Ask What Good We Do: Inside the U.S. House of Representatives.”
According to Draper, the guest list that night (which was just over 15 people in total) included Republican Reps. Eric Cantor (Va.), Kevin McCarthy (Calif.), Paul Ryan (Wis.), Pete Sessions (Texas), Jeb Hensarling (Texas), Pete Hoekstra (Mich.) and Dan Lungren (Calif.), along with Republican Sens. Jim DeMint (S.C.), Jon Kyl (Ariz.), Tom Coburn (Okla.), John Ensign (Nev.) and Bob Corker (Tenn.). The non-lawmakers present included Newt Gingrich, several years removed from his presidential campaign, and Frank Luntz, the long-time Republican wordsmith. Notably absent were Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) and House Minority Leader John Boehner (R-Ohio) — who, Draper writes, had an acrimonious relationship with Luntz.
—————————————
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/04/25/robert-draper-anti-obama-campaign_n_1452899.html
CBS network just hired Luntz. Given that he was at this treasonous event to undermine the President at the cost of the country’s stability and future, this is a black mark against that network.
As we predicted:
Thank you Josh Marshall
Romney gives a different answer on auto bailout than I’ve heard before. Romney: GM did go bankrupt!!!
What the hell happened here?! Geesh. Scratch this comment.
Romney also said they should have gone after private funding instead of seeking government funding as he did for the Olympics. BTW there were no private funding sources available at the time, not even his old Bain Co would fund them.
The thing about Romney trying to claim credit for the auto rescue is that he acts like he’s the only one who had any ideas about the industry. Even if he was screeching about the exact plan that President Obama carried out, who cares? President Obama was the President, and he’s the one who rescued the auto industry. He wasn’t waiting for advice from Romney, who failed at his job as Governor, and has done nothing productive in about a decade, at least. He didn’t sit in one meeting, offer one word of advice or implement a single component of the auto rescue. That was down to President Obama – who was also dealing with a global economic collapse, two wars, a housing crisis, and the general state of the domestic front (failing education standards, crumbling infrastructure, reduced competitiveness, disastrous health care system). In the midst of all that, he rescued the auto industry. Mitt Romney should just sit down.
He can say whatever he wants to, theo, he’ll never be able to take back the “Let Detroit Go Bankrupt” op-ed piece he wrote!
Love the pics. The little boy with the PBO shirt is adorable!
And it’s really pouring here in Western Florida, me thinks POTUS has his Events inside anyways.
Also, Chris Hayes is single handedly attempting to take away the Presidents bump. I don’t like Him…
Bob Shrums is on UP with Chris Hayes. Shrummy is one of the best defenders of pres Obama.
It’s amazing that Shrum has to defend the President on the Chris Hayes Show, a supposed Lefty Show?
The Only one show that is 100% in support of Pres Obama without equivocation is Politics Nation. Is it any wonder that in One of Cable broadcasting, I can count on ONE hand the number of times Rev Al has been on Vacation. MSNBC is the only network that even tries to give pres Obama a fair shake. That is how I look at the Cablers and Media folks.
Shrum is a Gem.
THIS right here:
That Navy Seal Book on the Bin Laden Raid concerns me I have to say. The Pentagon has issued a statement that the book is inaccurate ( the author says that Bin Laden had already been shot when they arrived on the scene). But we know the Media will make this a very big story. I hope Admiral McRaven will come out in public and debunk the lies.
So am I. The republican and their supporters will do anything to diminish and disparage our President’s accomplishments. The fact that the killing of Bin Laden happened under his watch has driven them stark raving mad. Scott Pellen claims that the Seal’s decison to write and release the book on 9-11 is not political, but the fact that he claims there were already plans to kill/ capture Bin Laden and that PBO is not popular w/ the seals, and his concern that PBO would take credit for the mission’s sucess, tells me all I need to know.
Candidate Obama told us what he intended to do about Bin Laden, and he was mocked and ridiculed by the GOP. PBO has the last word and the last laugh on that subject.

G’day everyone! Magical light in those pics up above! I, for one, find the constant posting and elaborating over tweets from this mark Knoller a-hole are very draining and uninspiring. I have trained myself to scroll past them now. Just sayin’….. However, in all this time, that is the only thing about TOD I have any issue with! Off to work in a bit, y’all have a brilliant day working for Obama~Biden! {{{{Chips}}}}. {{{{TOD}}}}
It’s the same way chris christie can make fat jokes.
But Christie is Fluffy. Just looking at Christie, the arithmetic is right in front of Us. Pres Obama is a Citizen. The opposite of the lie believed by at least, 45% of the TBGOPers.
The point is that the POTUS has been the object of the attacks, therefore he can joke about it.
Yes. 1001% correct. There is no doubt about that. The pres owns his birthright, citizenship, his ears, skinniness, swagger, smiles, etc. Therefore, he has every right to make light or fun of himself.
Thanks to Chips and Dudette for your unique, individual contributions to this wonderful week. I followed this blog with my laptop on my lap as I watched all the speeches…..it was great. In all my 72 years I have never experienced such power coming from our elected leaders. As I commented earlier, and someone commented upthread, the entire convention built….it had an arc, a narrative, from the beginning to the President’s speech at the end. I don’t know why the commentators can’t figure that out. No ONE speech was the knockout….they all were part of what we’re feeling and knowing.
I so appreciated Kerry’s speech, and was reminded of 2004 when we made the awful choice of Bush. We saw Kerry here in OKC, and he is NOT cold, aloof, condescending, any of the awful adjectives attributed to him. But…..we now have our wonderful President Obama, and will have him for four more years. I’m like so many others, I want him to be president for life…..mine and his.
Having lived in both Boston and Chicago, and loving both cities, it is interesting to listen to the comments about each of them….as if it is a person governing the campaign: “Boston says” “Chicago says” What is also interesting is that “Chicago” is much more representative of what the city actually is, while “Boston” is not at all representative of what that city is. Those people at Romney’s headquarters must feel very lonely in that city. We know no one in the entire state liked him by the time he left office, and the feeling toward him is no warmer now.
On the other hand, Chicagoans love their President, so the people in that campaign office are comfortable in that city, and I think that works for the campaign.
It’s going to take a long time to come down from this week. I’m proud to be one of the 700,000 who donated this week….in fact I donated more than once, once accidentally. I hit the submit button twice…..but thought “good” they need it.
Thanks to all of you for your hard GOTV work and so much more.
Mark Knoller @markknoller
Today’s events bring the number of Pres Obama’s campaign rallies to 55, 9 in Florida. Topping the rally list: 12 in IA, 11 in OH, 9 in VA.
—–
Hey Mark……start counting calories instead of the President’s campaign events.
I haven’t seen a Romney ad here in Michigan for a few weeks, now I read in the paper this morning he’s going to saturate MI with some brand new ads. That didn’t last long. I’m sick of seeing that man.
I don’t particularly care for Rasmussen (it’s kinda hard to take a pollster seriously when they claim a Party ID of Republican +2 (36R/34D/30I), but even he can’t hide the fact that the President is getting a huge bounce from the DNC (and RNC). Today’s release shows the President with a 52% approval rating (against a 47% disapproval rating). That’s the President’s highest-standing in the Rasmussen Daily Tracker since January 25, 2011 (also 52/47).
It’s also a six-point shift in just ONE day. That never happens in Rasmussen tracking. Additionally, it’s a 13-point shift from his low-point during the RNC (46/54). Today’s release covers Thursday, September 6 thru Saturday, September 8.
Also important: The President now leads Romney by 4 points in their Presidential tracker (49/45) — a two-point shift from the day prior (46/44) — which equates to a convention bounce of eight points from his low point during the RNC (44/48).
By the way…I visit TOD regularly, but this is my first post here. 🙂
And a darn fine post it was, too. Welcome Rosario.
Welcome, Rosario!!!
The Get out the vote segment on chris hayes was very informative….i really like Bob Schrum…

I will be getting a Costco card and buying there again. I can always donate some of the stuff I buy.
Me too, there isn’t one in my town, I’ll have to travel about 50 miles, meanwhile, there are TWO Sam’s Clubs here. I refuse to support Sam’s Club and Walmart, but I will travel the 50 miles now to Costco!

Today – President Obama attracting support from 49% of voters nationwide, while Mitt Romney earns 45% of the vote.
This is the president’s biggest lead over Romney among Likely Voters since March 17.
We need to hit that magical number of 51 %, slow and steady we are getting there.
costco’s stock hits all time high day after founder/ceo speaks in support of president obama at the dnc. cool!
How Is Robney doing with His 2 Wives, on MTP?
😆 You’re baaaaaaaaaaaad Jovie!!
Ouch!
WOW! Even Rasmussen has PBO with a 4 point lead over Romney and a 52% approval rating. If Rasmussen is reporting this big of a lead, you can count on the fact it is a couple of points higher. This is great and should give all of us even more motivation to keep on working. The only poll that really counts is Nov 6. Forward!
Rasmussen? LOL. That Scott Rasmussen is a TBGOPer toll. He looked at the other polls and in 24 hours the pres Moved 6% points? Scott Rasmussen, we see your BS. The stench is smelled by all.
Willard Suddenly Supports the Popular Parts of ObamaCare:

🙄
There Willard Mitterrand Romney goes again…….Etch-A-Sketching, Flip Flopping, revising and David G would happily nod his head in agreement.
He is just so real – everyone that meets him smiles
Rising and shining with my O peeps on the bestest great getting up day again on TOD island! I will actually watch the morning shows today. Can’t wait to see PBO, and yes, Robme. I’m looking for a glimmer into the debate dynamic.
My political take today is that it is expected that a campaign will get 71 votes for each 1000 door knocks. The are 26 votes for each phone bank call/web video/tv ad per 1000. This why we must get our feet on the street when we can, and call when we can’t. Also, 34% of people in states that have passed voter suppression laws, don’t know about the new requirement. There’s work to do. Illinoisans have been asked to help out in Iowa, check out the need where you live.
Heads up everyone:

PBO on Face the Nation!!!
Mitt Romney needs to sit down with Paul Ryan and remind him who’s really at the top of the ticket. Ryan was on This Week and Romney was on MTP and they kept contradicting each other. Romney refused to eliminate deductions for the wealthy. Ryan says in a Romney administration, he’s going to make sure as VP he gets congress to eliminate tax deductions and loopholes for the 1%. Romney doesn’t plan on ending the Afghan war soon. Ryan on This Week said he and Romney support Pres. Obama’s 2014 Afghan war deadline. Romney says he would keep some provisions of ObamaCare but still completely eliminate ObamaCare. Ryan says he and Romney would 100% repeal ObamaCare. Ryan said Pres. Obama has no foreign policy record. Stephanopoulos had to remind him about Osama Bin Laden.
It was so freaking hilarious. Paul Ryan is clearly more interested in himself and 2016.
This would make a perfect ad!
Maybe Ryan can’t keep up with Mitt’s flip flopping.
Dudette, I liked partying with you and your sister. You express yourself so warmly and we thought we were in NC as well.
Good morning y’all.
The crowd in Kissimmee, FL were fired up yesterday. I was present and accounted for. Really great time to see our President.
You know it was reported on here that Willard dissected the Pledge of Allegeance in his speech. I take offense of his lack in sensibilities when we just witness the remarkable recovery of Gabby G reciting our Pledge with valor and conviction.
Another thing, Florida is the poster child of what happens when you don’t vote. We as Democrats must vote in all elections, local, State, and National levels.
We in Florida are not stupid because we have Rick Scott; the majority of us Democrats were lazy as Hades. I bet we won’t sit on our tails again and not listen to President Obama. He went across this country in ’10 and warned us not to give the keys back. Anyhow, FORWARD TODers.
