The week ahead:

Monday: The President will be in Toledo for campaign events. He will then travel to Louisiana to meet with local officials and view the ongoing response and recovery efforts to Hurricane Isaac. The President will return to the White House in the evening.

Tuesday: The President will travel to Norfolk, Virginia for campaign events. He will return to the White House in the evening.

Wednesday: The President will travel to Charlotte, North Carolina where he will remain overnight.

Thursday: The President will deliver remarks at the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte.
