Sick, disgusting, ignorant, and in some cases just plain evil.

Wow, Donna, I think we are in a ‘statistical tie!! And you had something sensible to say, not just “First”!

The ‘equivalencies’ don’t get any more false or farcical than the notion that requesting #BainMitt’s tax returns is ‘being mean’ and justifies his and his minions orchestra of dog whistle attacks on President Obama …

And, just to remind those people of how ridiculous their Mormon faith excuse is …

Okay, you guys are fast… =)

Without jumping into the political side of things…

My late father used to say, “Public relations is 99% doing good and 1% getting credit for it.”

There are quite a few people and organizations out there who would do well to remind themselves of this principle.

Sick, twisted and insane. They’ve stewed in their ideology for so long they don’t even realize how they come across. Just putrid.

‘Sick, twisted.. insane’, ‘putrid’, PJ, BUT now in the light so voters can see! Not only can voters not plead ignorance if they vote in the GOP, they would also be giving them the right to think their positions are mainstream, and GOD (or your chosen deity) help America if that were to happen! I think a combination of events have led to this point where GOP are showing what they are really made of well before the election so that the word can spread. If we share info like this with our relatives, friends, coworkers who are not as tuned in, they’ll understand the NEED TO VOTE…I hope.

Bob Casey will clean Tom Smith’s clock in November. Smith is the Republican nightmare candidate. Rabid primary voters rebelled against safer choices and went with the full on looney. With a presidential year level of voting among PA Dems, this guy will go down so far, people will be shouting “Timber!”

I’m so glad our convention is second this year! It will change the tone in the country and put everything on a more positive note.
Interestingly, more people are interested in hearing President Clinton and President Obama than Mitt Romney. Romney polls under GWB for anticipation of his speech. (I read this on the blog roll at right) That statistic says a lot. Clinton and Obama are at 52 & 51%, and Romney in the low 40’s. I don’t care how much money those guys spend, they can’t make anyone like Romney……I keep remembering Harvey Weinstein’s Edsel analogy about an inferior product pushed by a lot of money…..people just wouldn’t buy it.

Watching Hardball and I don’t know if the wind that has Finneman’s and Tweety’s hair looking like they’ve been electrocuted, or if it’s all that hot air Steele is blowing.

btw, y’all got Tweety all fired up! I’ve always thought that he had a real distaste for Robme way before now. There’s been more than just a journalistic disagreement. I think Tweet’s gonna ride this one all the way to election, that is the good twin will be on display for awhile. Enjoy it while it lasts.

As an AA, I think that any AA who call him/herself a republican is an ass. 🙂

I know some AA who call themselves Republicans but who totally reject the vile right wing views and tactics. These are AA who will not be voting for Romney and who would never defend Romney’s racist tactics. AA Republicans who are like Michael Steele have no integrity.

as a white american, i think that any white person who calls him/herself a republican is an ass, too!

it’s the party of assholes, and bigots, and misogynists, and idiots, and greedheads, and selfish bastards and on and on.

there is absolutely no excuse for anyone, of any color, age, or gender to be a republican right now. it’s the garbage heap of american politics, and completely shameful.

I was thinking the same thing, while listening to a analysis of Robme’s ‘White support’. What self-respecting White person would vote for this clown? As far as I can tell, most AMERICANS are united against this mean-spirited bigoted Republican party and their bafoonish candidate.

Agree! This white woman will never ever vote for an R. At one time in my past voting life I was an independent. After reading the President’s books I realized I was a liberal and will now vote only for democrates for the rest of my life!

I pray it never happen, but if I had a young daughter who was rape and she came pregnant, it is not these men decision to tell my family that this my kid has to have that baby. Some people can deal with it and some can’t

amen–this is the most personal, private decision, and none of government’s business. government does have a role, however, in arresting, prosecuting, and incarcerating the rapist!! if they were doing their job, we wouldn’t have these decisions to make–most rapists are repeaters.

If a child of mines were rape and she became pregnant, it is not these men decision to tell my child that she have to have that baby. Some people can deal with it and some can’t. And it is up to that family.

    Good Afternoon Everyone:

There is nothing more calming than watching GAME CHANGE for a zillionth time. The movie reminds me that all wacos will finish like the idiot-Wasilla-Half-Governor-Sarah-the-Palin. All.

But we must work hard: phone banking, canvassing, educating the media-bashing vulnerable, etc.

    Stay well and stay strong.

    Obama/Biden 2012!
