TOO FUNNY. I remember DEVO from back in the day. Plus, there is a suburb of Phila named Devon – the Devon Horseshow is held there annually. Kids succeeded in erasing the “N” on all the directional signs.
Let’s put it this way: if there’s a whiteboard code of honor, Romney just shredded it. I’m delighted he thought to use the medium, but this summary is so ridiculously dishonest, Romney has tarnished the very idea of whiteboard lessons.
.
.
On the other hand, now that Romney is forcefully committed to spending more on Medicare, he’s inadvertently endorsed a policy that hastens Medicare’s fiscal demise. “Instead of running out of money in 2024, Medicare says its trust fund for inpatient care would go broke in 2016 without the cuts,” the AP explained today. “That could leave a President Romney little political breathing room to finalize his own Medicare plan.”
Everything Romney said today with his whiteboard was wrong, predicated on the notion that Americans are fools who won’t know the difference.

Bobfr, so Paul ‘Lyin’ Ryan (the zombie-eye granny killer) is saying that his MOM gets to tell other ladies just like her that their CHILDREN will get COUPONS for Medicare? And that MEDICAID will not be available if their grandchildren are born with special needs?
Oh, I was being very, VERY sarcastic. Of course, his mother is going to say “Don’t worry P.D. wouldn’t do anything bad.” Maybe lyin’ runs in the family. I mean, P.D.’s brother worked for Bain.
I’m sorry, I can’t imagine anyone looking at Paul ‘Lyin” Ryan as Vice President and not being horrified. It’s already horrifying that Mitt Romney thinks HE is qualified to be the leader of the free world. This ticket is a disaster. The campaign is coming undone right before our eyes.
The late night comedy shows are going to have a field day with this. But the Romney/Ryan campaign should have seen it coming. I can just imagine Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert pouncing on this.
Well, let’s see, there are two main groups that are furious at President Obama for killing bin Laden. al Qaeda and republican teabaggers. did al Qaeda donate the money for this piece of traitorus garbage?
OMG, my stomach hurts. Some of those tumblr captions are hilarious. It’s only going to get worse. Rom-Liar and Ry-Liar are fast becoming a laughingstock. They can’t get their stories straight about which budget plan they support. Their plans are identical but different in some ways. Romney’s need to be against anything that PBO is for has caused him to accidentally make Medicare insolvent sooner. Ryan hasn’t run the numbers for his budget yet and he is the Budget Committee Chairman and hotshot fiscal hawk. Romney doesn’t know how to do a whiteboard. Ryan needs his mother as cover to go the Florida to talk about Medicaid cuts and ending Medicare as we know it with vouchers. Ryan couldn’t speak coherently about his own budget plan to Brit (freaking) Hume on Fox.
So Anne is curious as to what’s in their blind trust, cause she doesn’t know, but she knows whatever is in there is there legally. Besides, she says, if they release their tax info, then people will look at them. Well…no one said anything about legality, but duh….that’s why folks are asking for them. It’s not like anyone’s trying to look in your underwear drawer.
Don’t tell me Linda, let me guess. Ed Rendell was on a panel where he made it a point to tell Mitt Romney what “HE” needs to do to win. Or he is siding with Mitt Romney about something. Like Seamus and the nefarious “chains” remark from VP Biden. Whatever it is, I can just imagine that Ed is not acting like a surrogate for PBO.

I am just catching up and I had to,say something about the incredibly awesome, clever. Beautiful, funny and tender video One Term More that is featured in Rise and Shine. It is the best political parody that I have seen in any form. OMG, music from one of my favorite musical sung by well-trained singers, with lyrics that slam all that is Mitt. I am telling everyone I know about this. This is wonderful find.
PITTSBURGH (AP) — In a surprising turnaround, the amount of carbon dioxide being released into the atmosphere in the U.S. has fallen dramatically to its lowest level in 20 years, and government officials say the biggest reason is that cheap and plentiful natural gas has led many power plant operators to switch from dirtier-burning coal.
Many of the world’s leading climate scientists didn’t see the drop coming, in large part because it happened as a result of market forces rather than direct government action against carbon dioxide, a greenhouse gas that traps heat in the atmosphere.
They give credit to natural gas? What about the 10%+ increase in Renewable Energy under this administration? Nope! We can’t mention that, this is AP afterall.
Good article on Ryan and what Ryan/Romney can do to health care. Key quote:
Ryan’s most extreme Medicare and Social Security proposals are opposed by huge middle-class constituencies. So the political process should protect these social insurance programs from more serious damage. I’m more frightened by Ryan’s proposals concerning Medicaid, Food Stamps, and other programs that serve the most politically and economically vulnerable Americans. More than 60 percent of the cuts proposed by Mr. Ryan come from programs that serve low-income people.
As I discuss here, I’m dismayed by the language Ryan uses in describing these issues: “We don’t want to turn the safety net into a hammock,” and as Jonathan Chait puts it, “Ryan’s philosophical opposition to a government that forces the ‘makers’ to subsidize the ‘takers.’” Ryan still uses these terms in his speaking and writing about social policy. A pampered millionaire known to purchase $350 dinner wine, Ryan may
not be the best judge of poor people’s lives.
All sorts of recent Rightwing polls out there, showing Robney ahead in Key battle ground states, the latest is CNN Wisconsin fossil status.
This is bogus.
How can they be leading, when they are losing the Womens vote by 22 points, Hispanic vote by 45 points and the AA vote by 95 points?
so I’m on the phone with daughter #2 in LA, who for some reason has on Hardball. She’s not a regular political TV show type person so it surprised me when she asked me to turn to it. She wanted to know why the guy on the TV have a crooked adam’s apple. I turned and there was Mark Halprin. I thought I’d fall off the chair. All this time, and I never noticed his crooked adam’s apple. So that’s why he doesn’t talk straight. LOL!!
HAA!
Hey Tally! Don’t Roof Rack me BRO!!

HUH? He’s gonna make his MOM tell the truth?
No, actually IMO he will have his mom say don’t worry everything will be okay cuz my son will fix it.
Oh, I was being very, VERY sarcastic. Of course, his mother is going to say “Don’t worry P.D. wouldn’t do anything bad.” Maybe lyin’ runs in the family. I mean, P.D.’s brother worked for Bain.

There. Now it’s true.
Tax expert says that both Willard and Paulie LIVE to lie.
TSA has found 821 guns so far in 2012.
That is pretty good, for an agency that the Republicans hate.
