And just think, her first president looks like her. How cool is that? SHE could be president someday!

I think back on that picture of Bill Clinton when he met Pres. John Kennedy. Who knew then that HE would be president someday.

Is he an adviser on the budget? Isn’t it his job to know these things, or only to be able to answer scripted questions? The real answer: they have no answer. They have no real plan. They are definitely all smoke, mirrors, and especially lies … in every aspect, on every topic.

    • 38 vcprezofan2
      August 15, 2012 at 8:17 pm

‘I didn’t know you were going to ask that question’ and of course Romney, Ryan and their gang can only answer coherently when they have been primed. /roll/

    • August 15, 2012 at 9:08 pm

It gets worse – Ryan was asked when the Romney plan would balance the budget and he replied ” I don’t know – we haven’t run the numbers yet”. So the situation is NO ONE knows when/if he will balance the budget because he’s just throwing numbers around without really bothering to check them out. And Mr. Deficit Hawk Ryan is all good with that.

I seem to recall something like this just prior to the 2008 election. It was one day more and place at PBO HQ’s. I’ll have to try to find it. That was also very stirring.

      • 45 japa21
        August 15, 2012 at 9:17 pm

        This is the one

      • August 15, 2012 at 10:57 pm

Yes, japa, I remember it very well and shared it with folk, at the time.

However, the reasons I used “Unprecedented” in this case are several.

What struck me as unique was not the use of the ‘Les Miserables’ score to create a parody in support of #PBO, but the specific linkage of lyrics and imagery, particularly tying Mitt to the terror he caused that young student – scars that he lived with until his death according to those who knew him.

For those not familiar with the story of John Lauber, Mitt and his gang presumed him to be a ‘queer’ and taunted him endlessly and then #BullyMitt organized the attack. That attack was not just a terrorizing hate crime but a terrorizing homophobic hate crime.

Tying a Presidential candidate to direct participation in such an act is what blew me away especially given the contrast of the historic, courageous leadership of PBO on gay rights.

That theme of bulky, terror and reliance on a gang that Mitt used in high school are entirely emulated in everything he did at Bain and would be what he would do to America if given the chance. His brutality is evidenced in the countless people’s lives he and his Bain gang wrecked, as well as, the fact that he continued his homophobic acts as MA Governor.

It also is not lost on any of us the significance of Congressman Barney Frank being direct about the fact that Mitt is a ‘mean’ person.

So, the whole package just knocked me out for its sheer coupling of artistry to the vast difference between these two men – PBO & Mitt.

“Obama likes microbrews too — so much so that he bought a beer-making kit (with personal funds) for the White House. The kitchen staff has made three varieties so far: White House Honey Ale, White House Honey Blonde Ale and White House Honey Porter. All are made with honey from Michelle Obama’s kitchen garden.

White House officials were quick to point out that to call the beer-making operation a “brewery” would be an exaggeration.

That hasn’t stopped Obama from talking about the beer-making enterprise — or sharing it. At a campaign stop Tuesday at a coffee shop in Knoxville, Iowa, he explained the light and dark varieties the White House produces. And when a patron requested a bottle, the president sent a member of his staff out to the campaign bus to get one.”

MITT ROMNEY Accused of Hijacking Silversun Pickups Song

//…According to the band’s frontman Brian Aubert, Romney has been using their 2009 hit … even though no one ever asked them for permission, but it’s pretty clear he wouldn’t have gotten it even if he asked.

Aubert says, “We don’t like people going behind our backs, using our music without asking, and we don’t like the Romney campaign. We’re nice, approachable people. We won’t bite. Unless you’re Mitt Romney!”

These are the moments like this that bring on the “rivers of tears of joy” flowing, when I see such lovely little cute ones who are cherishing a hand shake from the POTUS. I was already crying, shouting out pleading words, and saying a prayer because I am so excited about getting to Nov.6, 2012 finished.

I just received a thank you note from headquarters thanking me for having a grassroots fundraiser. And in that note, I was asked to continue to spread the news to others to start one as well. And believe it or not, I just shared yesterday with two friends to start a grassroots fundraiser page who are also seniors. They are also very nervous as I was when I made my wish known on our beautiful blog one Sat. morning.

Cookman, meta, amk, and many others were so encouraging. “You can do it, HZ.” So I did, and thanks to our beautiful Chips, I did it. within 23 hrs., I made my goal of $200.00. Then amk encouraged me to go higher, I did and met that one. So, $250.00 it was then ,I went to “special meaning actions”,and I set
one forspecial meaning. I went to his birthday $844.00, and now I am up to $1244.00 Yr. 12 reelection for #44. I am almost there and hoping that I will meet my goal before my birthday, Oct. So please do not forget your “Zen-Senior”(a TOD family gave me that name) by going to my page please. I(((((( love you all and thank you all for every cent.)))))))HZ

The Obama campaign weighed in on new developments on voting access fights in Ohio and Pennsylvania Wednesday.

On the court decision upholding Pennsylvania’s voter ID law, campaign spokeswoman Jen Psaki said: “Regardless of today’s decision, we remain committed to working with supporters and volunteers across the state to register and educate Pennsylvanians about the Voter ID law. We want to ensure all eligible voters have the information they need to get to the polls in November and exercise their right to vote.”

On oral arguments in a lawsuit brought by the campaign about Ohio ballot access: “We made the strong case this morning that we believe in restoring equal and fair access to early voting and removing arbitrary obstacles to voting. We are pleased with our case,” Psaki said.

I may be late on this but have you seen this story on VP Joe at The Roots?

      Joe Biden’s Black Pass
Why the vice president is “a big f***ing” deal in Delaware, especially among African Americans.
By: Chana Garcia | Posted: May 7, 2010 at 6:07 AM

“Shortly after he ousted a guy named Corn Pop for breaking the rules at the all-black pool, Joe Biden considered calling the police to escort him to his car once his shift ended.
Corn Pop belonged to a gang known as the Romans, and Biden, the lone white lifeguard at Prices Run–one of the few public pools in Wilmington, Del., open to non-whites during the 1960s–made fun of the man’s pomade-slathered hair before kicking him out.

“Word from the black lifeguards was that Corn Pop, who took his coiffure pretty seriously, would be waiting outside with a straight razor, ready to fight. Calling the cops was a no-no, Biden was warned, unless he planned to never return to the pool.”
Biden, then a 19-year-old college student, didn’t take long to deliberate. He made his way to one of the back rooms and emerged with a 6-foot-long piece of chain wrapped around his arm. He knew what he had to do.
Luckily, a little public posturing was enough to satisfy Corn Pop, and the two men made peace; Biden even apologized for the insult.
It was possibly the first in a long line of verbal slip-ups that would land the vice president in hot water, but to let Wilmington’s black residents tell it, that day at the pool was fateful. It was there that Delaware’s star politician earned the respect of the African-American community, which would see him through many elections.

“That’s where it all started,” says Joe Brumskill, a former Wilmington school board president who worked on several of Biden’s U.S. Senate campaigns. “He grew up working with black people, and we got to know him well.”

I turned on Ed Schultz and two of the guys (one from MIT and the other from Harvard) who were instrumental in creating RomneyCare and the ACA (Obamacare) were on his show. Long story short – Ryan is a bald face liar. First, $716 billion have not been taken from seniors on Medicare and also the people in Mass have a 50% decrease in premiums. Also, 98+% of adults are covered and 99.8% of children are covered in Mass. A group tried to get a referendum on the ballot to remove the individual mandate and couldn’t come of with enough signatures. More than 2/3 of people in Mass like their health care system.

In Game Change, it’s written that John McCain was angry when Barack would throw his his jacket over his shoulder. He felt that PBO was mocking him since he could not do that because of his limited arm use.

These people are seething with jealousy to the point of derangement.

Says the lying ugly MOFO who had to APOLOGIZE FOR CALLING PBO “UNAMERICAN”…now he can’t keep his ugly Jealousy underwraps because PObama’s got Groove!

The swag drives them crazy, makes them deranged. I’ve observed since ’08 that a lot of them are driven by a very personal jealousy/envy that almost borders on a jilted lover type of vibe. They hate the love he receives, his obvious charisma, his unflappability. Drives them totally mad.

Bingo. Swag is something they’ll never have and it is killing them. Romney walks like a dork and talks like a dork, therefore he is a dork.

It’s on all his ads: the wonderful saunter as he says I approve this message! Mr. Romney with the robot-like walk is envious. He’ll never be loved the way our President is.

I hope everyone watched Chris affectionally knows at Tweety’s show today. The first segment was great; Howard Fineman (yes I know he can be a pill) told the whole truth. It was a classic.

I surely hope that LOD just showed Gallup’s polling showing a 1 point bump for Bozo vs. 45% for PBO, to 1.) highlight only a 1 point bump and 2.) how lousy and biased Gallup is and that even their own nutjob poll made found no difference in favorables for Bozo.

oh my god. just saw Willard’s new ad featuring supposed former PBO supporters who just happened to be spewing repuke talking points about how he’s made things worse and how they regret having voted for him. If those actors were former PBO supporters, I’ll eat my favorite pair of drawers (they are red, white and blue with white stars). 😡
