You’ll be bored silly hearing me say this …. but a gazillion apologies for not replying yet to all your emails, things have been a bit bonkers busy, so I just haven’t had the time.
Just to make one thing clear, though: the only fundraiser this little blog supports and endorses – and will ever support and endorse from now on – is Obama/Biden 2012, absolutely no other, personal or otherwise. I’ll reply to you all asap, but I just wanted to make that 100% clear.
You can donate through one of the fundraisers set up by the highly lovely people who inhabit this blog:

Just $3 will do it! Let’s help keep her word with President Obama!
GM folks.
Good evening!
Meta, I just donated to you and Chips fundraisers. 🙂
AWESOME!! Thanks so much, COS.
Can’t believe this new $25M ad campaign against POTUS. These people are just so desperate and so horrible.
I read that. And we know it will all be deceptive brecause they do not have anything else to offer. I am livid over that Robney welfare ad. I did not know that I could dislike a person as much as I dislike him. He has no conscience.
Oops, I meant “because”.
To be honest, I’ve avoided him like the plague for most of this year. I’ve just started half listening to half of his ads because they’ve been airing during the Olympics, which I’m half watching.(!) So I’ll just keep this simple: everything about him is disgusting and I loathe him and his idiotic campaign. We MUST crush him.
People are giving RomneyHood hell on Twitter and Bobfr is doing an outstanding job. Mitt’s racist ad will come back to bite him in his ass.
Wassup Family!!
Soooooo you’re finally up lazy bones.
Yeah, slept an extra hour today. 🙂
Did someone say cheesy puffs? 🙂
Friday, hopefully, when we hit the big 12Mill, baby! It’ll be on like popcorn (and cheesy puffs)!
((((((((((((( Thank you my dear Pamela))))))))))))) HZ
Now to catch up on all the news.
Congrats Africatimes2 you are #1.
Thanks. Me, too. Time to catch up.
Just a reminder: There was GINORMOUS BLOWBACK when Meg Whitman tried to buy the governorship of Cali. She failed BIG.
Mittiot Romneyhood is even richer, more annoying, and destructive.
Having said that, it doesn’t mean this country isn’t full of stupid people.
Bingo!
I second that. Whitman not quite as obtuse as Romney – who is the king of smarmy entitlement and condescension – but she is a piece of work and voters saw through her vast wealth and attempts to steamroll the election. Wish the rest of the country had the same attitude but alas, not so. Racism is the confounding factor.
Jerry Brown did not spend nearly as much money, but he had 2 extremely affective ads, one using megs own words saying how great business was when Jerry Brown was governor of California. We were sick to death of all those Meg ads. By the time the election rolled around, we hated her, and were disgusted by her attempt to buy our governorship.
I don’t know if it was her inept campaign media person or just her assumption that we wanted to see her ads every 8 minutes but OMG, I just couldn’t stand the sight of her long before the vote. It was complete torture.
FYI and UGH.
Saw that crap they have on BuzzFeed from her today. I didn’t even link to it. Even when she claims she’s saying something nice, it wreaks of side-eyed disdain. Eff that beeyatch!
I don’t get why anyone would call her their “favorite” reporter or why anyone would think writing dreck at BuzzFeed is some sort of plum gig.
Every time I see her doing ‘analysis’ on a political show, I hit the mute button when her lips start moving. Also, She’s whiney.
Rachael was on it again tonight.
Any linky sailor ? She was damn good last week.
Nope. I’m not at that level of pc knowledge yet. Sorry.:-(
Gotcha covered, Sailor!
1. Go here: http://www.nbcnews.com/
2. Click on the tiny “msnbc” in the top row, upper right corner (beside where it says Login)
3. You’ll land on a page with small pictures of all the MSNBC show hosts. [Note: You can stop here and scroll down the bottom of the page to see the most recently uploaded segnments regardless of show, but if you want a specific show, click on the picture of that show’s host…]
4. Click on Rachel’s picture and it’ll take you to the page with video segments from her show (and sometimes even web-only videos that didn’t air on TV)
It usually takes a couple of hours after the show airs before they upload the current day’s segments. Right now the “Most Recent” video segments are from yesterday. Wait about another hour or so and today’s segments should be available.
Thx dudette for making it so easy-peasy. 🙂
No problem at all, dear. Looks like Rachel’s videos for today are up now.
Tks Dude.
So…. I have a regular tech dude that comes by my office once in a while to check on our AC… we always talk Galaxy… today it morphed into olympics, then ROMNEY. His BIL is a GOPer. I ranted at him for an hour (poor guy), but I told him, “Next time you see him, ask him if he likes Citizens United. If he doesn’t, explain that the next POTUS will appoint a minimum of THREE SCOTUS judges, maybe more. Anyone who hates Citizens United CANNOT ALLOW ROMNEY TO WIN THE PRESIDENCY.”
Tally, thanks. RT’d. This is so important.HZ
Damn that President Obama, it’s all his fault! 🙂

Well how about that. This shows faith in our economy under THIS President. Well whaddya know! Our Beloved, savvy President knows what he is doing and is open and above board in doing so.
We have to answer that 25 million by the Kochs. Of course, That is what they want us to do, to stop us from opening so many Offices.
Just the same, that ad buy is to large, not to answer. Expect a 20 million dollar buy, within 1 week, as an addendum to the 77 million already raised.
(still, they are trying to deplete our reserves)
Buy!
Sigh!
Their ads are racist and full of lies. They have so much money, they’re not worried about quality. Rove and the rest think their old tactics will continue to work. Bullshit. They are losing the battle and getting more and more blatant, cynical, and nasty. Their false ‘confidence’ is buffered by all those millions. That money is totally corrupting them.
It’s the money that will take them down.
I pray you are right!
Nice # tags, Bob. RT’ed.
Thank you amk 🙂
Thanks Bobfr. RT’d. You are so faithful in getting these out. Thanks, Bobfr. HZ
Just noticed what Chips said under the Keep on Fighting video. [Great post, all around, by the way]
This is why I love you Chips, darling! You remind us everyday where our focus should be. We are marching. We are fighting. We are following the President’s lead toward a more perfect union. Brushing the hate-dust off our shoulders and moving FORWARD!!!
Thank you Chips! You did that!
Wow. That it gets better video was quite powerful. I don’t believe I have seen it before.
That video gets me every time – especially the President’s quiet tone at the end. And Romney wants a Constitutional amendment to embed hate right into the fabric of the country. That cannot happen.
That Keep On Fighting vid is PDG.
So some people actually left the blog because Pres.Obama’s gay marriage stance? Really? OY!!
single issue ‘supporters’ can’t see beyond the tree they’re hugging.
LOLz.
gobrooklyn, yeah, it would seem so. But folks like that make me even MORE determined to register new voters. I feel like if I can get 3 new voters for everyone I’ve heard talking about not voting for whatever reason, we should be golden!!! If everyone does that, we’re all good!!
Yes, that’s very sad. One of them was an avid poster here and then she said she couldn’t support his position and so would no longer be posting here.
That particular lady was a good person but could not accept this one position. It is sad but I believe she will continue to do a lot of good in helping people. She was older and I think it can be difficult for older people to change their way of thinking. I disagree with her on this issue but I wish her well.

I love President Barack Obama, and I know that he is the president of all people in this nation. I love his compassion and his commitment to be fair to all citizens.
I will continue to work and do everything that I can to get POB and VPBiden re-elected. This is bigger than just me, I have always felt. Let us stay focus, keeping working hard for him, and for so many people who need our help. Moving FORWARD with grace, compassion, love, and respect. HZ

I love President Obama–yes I do.
And I love Vice President Biden, too.
Ok, it’s that time again.
There was a terrible bus accident. Unfortunately, no one survived the accident except a monkey which was on board and there were no witnesses. The police try to investigate further but they get no results. At last, they try to interrogate the monkey. The monkey seems to respond to their questions with gestures. Seeing that, they start asking the questions.
The police chief asks: “What were the people doing on the bus?”
The monkey shakes his head in a condemning manner and starts dancing around; meaning the people were dancing and having fun.
The chief asks: “Yeah, but what else were they doing?”.
The monkey uses his hand and takes it to his mouth as if holding a bottle.
The chief says: “Oh! They were drinking, huh?!” The chief continues, “Okay, were they doing anything else?”
The monkey nods his head and moves his mouth back and forth, meaning they were talking.
The chief loses his patience: “If they were having such a great time, who was driving the stupid bus then?”
The monkey cheerfully swings his arms to the sides as if grabbing a wheel.
Hahahahahaha….what the…
LOL!!!!! 😀
Can’t ever be stated enough.. THANKS CHIPS for maintaining the best President Obama blog in the blogosphere!
Amen.
This is my first stop every day. I get all the news and links I need from this site. I send links to others who are into politics.
A company, feeling it was time for a shakeup, hires a new CEO. This new boss is determined to rid the company of all slackers.
On a tour of the facilities, the CEO notices a guy leaning on a wall. The room is full of workers and he wants to let them know he means business!
The CEO walks up to the guy and asks, “And how much money do you make a week?” Undaunted, the young fellow looks at him and replies, “I make $300.00 a week. Why?”
The CEO then hands the guy $300 in cash and screams, “Here’s a week’s pay, now GET OUT and don’t come back!”
Feeling pretty good about his first firing, the CEO looks around the room and asks “Does anyone want to tell me what that goof-off did here?”
With a sheepish grin, one of the other workers mutters, “Pizza delivery guy from Domino’s.”
Ha! I love it. 🙂
Am – don’t ever stop bringing your jokes (even the wimmin’ ones) to the blog. They are such a welcome relief after a day of fighting lies on twitter and out in the real world. Thank you! 🙂
LOL!
That was Mitt — he likes firing people who provide services to him. 😀 😀 😀
Bill Clinton did not respond himself to Mitt Romney’s use of the former president in his ad accusing President Obama of a move to “gut” Clinton’s welfare reforms of 1996, but instead Chicago held a conference call using his former chief of staff, John Podesta, to rebut the claim, via Hunter Walker:
http://www.politico.com/blogs/burns-haberman/2012/08/obama-camp-calls-in-podesta-to-rebut-welfare-ad-131400.html
We are over reacting to this lie!! Get back on offense, about the tax returns, this is stupid!
We have been reacting to this stupid welfare ad all Day. I dont see what the big deal is? Its a lie, it’s been fact checked!
Also, what did they think was going to happen when they changed the welfare rule?
I knew they would try and drive a wedge! How could we be caught flat footed?
We must be distracted about something!
The President will answer this, and I have no doubt Bill Clinton will too…..however, this is too early in the season for it to have major effect. This kind of trash works at the end of September first of October when it hits as a surprise, like the Willie Horton ad of Lee Atwater. It came late in the campaign. This one will be dealt with, and Romney’s taxes will not be forgotten. I imagine the Rmoneyhcampaign will have a new lie out every week hoping to distract the press. Frankly, I think people are truly catching on to the racial whistles in Romney’s campaign. I just heard a bit on BriWi’s report on the Sikh massacre, and it was different in tone and content. One young lady said”We are ALL Americans. I want the hate to stop.” The memorial service for the leader who was killed has become so large, it has to be moved to the high school auditorium. What that young lady said is a step. More and more people are tired of being pitted against each other.
I also think that so many people have come close to needing government aid the past 7 years, that they are not so swift to condemn those who need it .
Maybe the President should have waited til after the Election, on this matter.
I don’t see Tavis or Cornell out there backing Him up on this…
The Campaign is very defensive over this freaking ad. I guess it is playing the race card, I don’t know, I am nit black!
But, if it is that, then the Obama Camp wants to get out in front of this.
Now I am starting to get mad, they got us all defensive over this. Shit!
Well, I am black, Jovie and, to tell ya truth, I ain’t the least bit worried bout it. This ain’t 1980 and Romney ain’t Reagan, no matter how hard they try to replay that song.
Jovie – since when have you ever seen Tavis or Cornell backing up the President on anything? And secondly, I think you may be completely wrong on this one. The Obama campaign is not on the defensive, and until I read your posts here, I was actually thinking that the Administration has nipped this lie in the bud. Every single news report I heard today was calling Mitt out on this lie. Every single one.
We can’t complain on one day that the Admin has to get in front of the Romney lies and knock them down, and then complain that they did just that because it doesn’t meet our own timeline of some sort. Personally, I think they did the right thing attacking this head on.
He released a statement
This ad is so blatant, they have to nip it in the bud right now.

Hey TOD fam. Chips and all of you help keep my spirits up. Been a rough time with sad news. The latest is my great-aunt, who’s been inflicted with the cancer over the past year or so. It’s now spread all over her body and caused her kidneys to fail. Today, the dr. gave her a few days to live. None of family is telling my grandma or other great-aunts yet…I don’t know…Worse yet, my daddy’s birthday is Thursday and my grandma’s birthday is next Wednesday.
So sorry, thoughtfule. Many hugs and best wishes coming your way.
S&P closes over 1,400 for first time in 3 months

“Stronger corporate earnings reports and expectations that central banks will act to support the economy powered the Standard & Poor’s 500 index past 1,400 for the first time in three months. The index rose 7.12 points to close at 1,401.35 on Tuesday. Energy stocks increased the most of the 10 industry groups tracked by the index.
The Nasdaq composite index marked a milestone of its own: the first close above 3,000 since early May. The Nasdaq rose 25.95 points to 3,015.86…[snip]”
“…MGM Resorts International[supporters of Senator Harry Reid] reported a 29 percent surge in revenue even though the casino company had a quarterly loss. The stock rose 70 cents, or 7.5 percent, to $10.08”
The S&P hasn’t closed above 1,400 since May 2, and the Nasdaq hasn’t closed above 3,000 since May 3.
“There’s been a bunch of positive earnings numbers,” said Stephen Carl, head of equity trading at The Williams Capital Group. “While that makes some investors happy, I’d like to see some more robust growth.”
The Dow Jones industrial average rose 51.09 points to 13,168.60. The Dow is now 996 points below its all-time high of 14,164.53 reached on Oct. 9, 2007, prior to the financial crisis. The Dow would have to rise 7.6 percent to break that record…”[More in the article]

Thanks Chipsticks for all that you do! NZ is going through our own marriage bill debate right now, and I really believe, that because President Obama led the way and was in favour of same sex couples to be married, publicly followed by conservative Prime Minister David Cameron in the U.K… it has allowed our conservative Prime Minister, John Key, to back the marriage bill in our own country!!! President Obama made it okay for other Leaders to support marriage equality, move with the times and be on the right side of History. PBO definitely carries his title well, as the President of the FREE World!!! ♥ ♥ ♥
Love that man.

This is the state of the Romney campaign:
The Indian newspapers today calling that WI murderer as a racist terrorist. God forbid if the american media said the same truth about this mass murderer.
amk – Haven’t watched much news today, but heard a little of CNN’s reporting about the murderer’s interest in and/or connection to white supremacy factions, even showing him in front of a swastika flag in a photo (which may have come from his FB page).
DO YOU LIVE IN PENNSYLVANIA? Know anybody who does? Are you on Corbett’s Voter ID List?
Recently Governor Corbett and the Republican Legislature passed a bill requiring all Pennsylvanians have a valid photo ID in order to vote. The problem is that the law was written in a way that goes beyond just protecting against voter fraud – it actually could prevent over 750,000 Pennsylvanians from voting. The Department of State published a list of voters who can be denied at the polls.
Check now if you are on Corbett’s List. Fill out the form below to find out if you are on Corbett’s List.

Clinton Swipes at Romney Welfare Fib
// Statement by President Bill Clinton on Governor Mitt Romney’s New Television Advertisement
New York, NY-Governor Romney released an ad today alleging that the Obama administration had weakened the work requirements of the 1996 Welfare Reform Act. That is not true.
The act emerged after years of experiments at the state level, including my work as Governor of Arkansas beginning in 1980. When I became President, I granted waivers from the old law to 44 states to implement welfare to work strategies before welfare reform passed. After the law was enacted, every state was required to design a plan to move people into the workforce, along with more funds to help pay for training, childcare and transportation. As a result, millions of people moved from welfare to work.
…The Romney ad is especially disappointing because, as governor of Massachusetts, he requested changes in the welfare reform laws that could have eliminated time limits altogether. We need a bipartisan consensus to continue to help people move from welfare to work even during these hard times, not more misleading campaign ads. //

Thank you Amk for posting this very uplifting article about “Air Gabby”. I am so proud of this very smart, talented, and brave young woman. She is such a true and honest and humble person. A friend once told me that we were cut from the same cloth…I think all our great athletes, politicians, teachers, doctors, etc., who go into their field or professions to make a difference in theirs and other peoples lives are all “cut from the same cloth”.

One of the comments on WaPO: ” Walks like Bush, talks like Bush, rich daddies……Where have we seen this movie”? More like a nightmare.
He just doesn’t care enough to get it right.
That, and I just don’t think he’s very worldly, to put it mildly. It does seem like he has existed in some kind of protected, very insular bubble. Limited exposure to the outside world—–to people and culture and customs and society and everything.
You should read that article from the great-great-great-great granddaughter of Brigham Young that was posted earlier. It was enlightening. Tells you a lot about Romney’s inner workings…
omg!! it just never ends with republicans!! and gorka’s response/whining is even worse complaining about his long, hard day of campaigning…and this guy is trying to run the free world and he’s constantly making the excuse of “campaigning is hard…wahhhh!” and he kept making the same “sheik” comment over and over…it was not a gaffe…he clearly has no idea what he’s talking about. just like bush junior who string together word salad (and not even well), and the news would literally piece it together for him to make it sound somewhat coherent.
if there was actual journalism in the mainstream media, the republican party would be a minor fringe party by now after bush junior, the current congressional republicans, and this clown show called the rmoney campaign!
Seems like China has become the new East Germany of the Olympics. From early 1950s to 1989, we thought East Germany was invincible becuse of their Olympic athletes. We learned after 1990 that ALL they put their money into was their athletes…..no industry, not infrastructure, not jobs, not their army. Now China is not as hidden as East Germany was behind the Iron Curtain, but I ‘m sure they are concentrating on the Olympics as a political tool just like East Germany did. All their athletes are really professionals.
Brits are doing pretty good at no. 3.
Aussies, who pride themselves as a nation of sports and athletics, came a big cropper this time around. So also Germany.

http://www.nytimes.com/2012/08/08/nyregion/dolan-invites-obama-and-romney-to-al-smith-dinner.html
A couple weeks ago, I re-watched the 2008 Dinner; I’m sooooooooooooo looking forward to the 2012!
Can’t wait for Willard’s “jokes”. He’s So Funny! Maybe one of them can make some kind of joke about the pope’s Good News Day, saying that condoms are now OK! Bet Catholic guys are relieved—-can finally use that one gathering lint in their wallets. Catholic gals are not so lucky—-no approval of b.c. for them. They will need to search out the condom guys.
OK – I’ll say something. These people are lucky that President Obama has agreed to come to their silly party. They don’t deserve to be in his presence. And I know that there will be some of them who decide to boycott the event, to further their nonsensical war against women and common sense (and decency). Good riddance!
Could be worthwhile the webinar above.
I’ve also seen some great articles lately on the Super Pac ad buy with Broadcasters…I need to find the link again…Time Warner is only cable channel I think that will be publicly disclosing online a semi-list of who exactly are behind a particular ad. Repubs and Rove have been fighting to limit the disclosures, but there are a few workarounds that could be useful knowledge before election day.
And palin was outraged by the people that then-Candidate Obama had allegedly “palled around with”? These GOP are criminals, from beginning to end. Period.
Obama Is an Avid Reader, and Critic, of the News
http://www.nytimes.com/2012/08/08/us/politics/obama-is-an-avid-reader-and-critic-of-news-media-coverage.html?_r=1&partner=rss&emc=rss
[As he should be… to bad people who write the news aren’t avid readers and critics of the news!]
Dudette, I’m calling BS on this article. The author take a fair amount of liberty to say what PBO does or doesn’t like. It also implies, from a conservative commentator no less, that PBO doesn’t “understood that the campaign didn’t end and that public perception was vitally important to governing,”
And that PBO frustrates the jackals that pose as White House “correspondents” … that the “media” were the reason for his rise to prominence, and that he is ‘thin skinned’ about article he doesn’t like. It’s mostly conjecture. They are looking so hard to find something to dislike about the guy.
Whatever, Washington Post, whatever!!!!
Yup – I was upset by the same sections.
This story is gonna get heat soon…
Lugar Urges U.S. and Russia to Team Up to Rid Syria of Chemical Weapons

f-lugar! he’s now come out in full, loud support for the teagagger who beat him in the primary, and who is extreme in his obama-hate, even by teagagger standards! these supposed “reasonable” republicans are a joke too. all of them.
Yup, lugar is a wimpy dick.
Not linking to FauxNews or HuffPo, so here ya go:
“Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker (R) will get a high-profile speaking spot at the Republican National Convention in Tampa, Fla., giving one of the Republican Party’s rising stars a national stage. Republican National Committee Chair Reince Priebus announced the Walker news on the Fox News show “On The Record with Greta Van Susteren” on Tuesday night…”
If romney does not know the difference between a Sikh and a Sheik it would explain his five sons.
A young man that I mentor wrote a song and made a video in tribute to Gabby Douglas; would appreciate if you would view and share.
Thanks!
Good night, sleep well.
I watched it ealier tonight. Wonderful photos! I missed much of the olympics this tme around. So much bad timing on my part. I’ll have to do a search for video. That young woman has some serious and graceful muscle and strength in her little body. Beautiful pics. Thanks for posting.
Bill Clinton has come out with full statement slamming racist RomneyHood and his welfare ad.

Thank you Sabreen
BINGOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
HAHAHAHAHA…..Paging JoeScar….Paging Ed Rendell……Subject Line: Bain ads not working?
Mitt Romney is laboring under the lowest personal popularity ratings for a presumptive presidential nominee in midsummer election-year polls back to 1984…….Forty percent of Americans overall view Romney favorably, 49 percent unfavorably – leaving him underwater, at least numerically, in 10 straight polls this year. Romney finished the primary season with the lowest favorability for a presumptive nominee in ABC/Post polls back 28 years; the question was whether that represented a post-primary campaign hangover from which he’d recover. The answer: not yet.
Indeed, while indecision about Romney has fallen from 37 percent last September to 11 percent now, the trend among those who’ve made up their minds has been largely negative: His favorability rating has gained 7 percentage points in the past year, but his unfavorable score is up by 18.
OBAMA – Obama, for his part, is seen more positively than negatively among all adults, 53-43 percent favorable-unfavorable.Obama’s gained back ground he’d lost among independents, customarily swing voters in national elections. In late May he fell numerically underwater among independents for the first time since December (45-52 percent favorable-unfavorable). He’s now back far in front of Romney in this group, largely because of gains among independent women.
Among all independents, Obama’s favorability rating is now 16 points higher than Romney’s (53 percent vs. 37 percent)

The statement, although laying out the facts, is just so-so. Imagine what a Republican ex-governor or President would have done: a good zinger or two or total outrage.
This is too tepid for my taste. The stakes are now too high and the Romney ad is a complete lie. Bill Clinton could have done more than dispassionately set the record straight. he could have done some good in framing Romney.

Here’s an interesting graphic which details the breakdown of the negative MSM coverage that PBO receives vs Romney. As we’ve all been noticing, the negative coverage for Romney is significantly lower. With the exception of NPR and Hardball, PBO receives an average of more than 15% negative coverage relative to Willard.
Here’s the breakdown of negative coverage assigned to each candidate by the various MSM outlets. “Fair and Balanced” alright.
FOX News: PBO 76%, Romney 24%
CBS News: PBO 63%, Romney 37%
Washington Post: PBO 62%, Romney 38%
USA Today: PBO 60%, Romney 40%
NY Times: PBO 57%, Romney 43%
CNN: PBO 57%, Romney 43%
NPR: PBO 49%, Romney 51%
Hardball: PBO 37% Romney 63%
I think Romneyhood is a brilliant coining of a term by President Obama. I have every intention of using it at every opportunity so that it can become part of the lexacon and as easily understood as reganomics.
Quinnipiac says that Robney is leading in Colorado by 5!
Wow! That is BS.
The President is up in Vurginia and Wisconsin, though.
In Colirado, the Hispanics in Colorado must not be Voting. What’s going on?
Wa Post Poll, the Presidents Favorables Nationally kill Robney! The President us gaining in favorability, Robney is losing Favirability!
Which is good!
Jovie141, none of us are voting yet. How many Hispanics do you think that poll call?
Dudette, thx for earlier post from Forbes on which cell service providers are blue, purple and red. OUCH I am with two reds. Time for a change.

You’re very welcome. 🙂
Mika is blaming Robney favorability on His Mormonism. She does not understand why People Hate Him.
I do!
Do you mean to tell me that Mika can talk. Do she ever have anything worth while to say? She didn’t when I use to watch the show years ago.
Goooood Morning all you O peeps!!! Another great getting up day on the TOD stoop!!!! I caught a bit of the Moanin’ Folks show and must say that Robert Gibbs remains my hero. He was very much out numbered and called upon to answer for everything from a SuperPac’s ad to PBO’s jump shot (not really). Anyway, he more than held his own and I’m sure went straight to the showers. I am proud of the O team.
My political take today is the other campaign will try to change the subject from Mittiful’s taxes to the horrible blaming of a death on Mittfit by the SuperPac. There is a double standard comparison between what’s a negative ad and how the truth about someone puts them in a negative light. Well, that’s because sometimes the truth indeed hurts. If Mitt is held accountable for the truth about him, then there wouldn’t be talk about negative ads by the PBO campaign. It’s just August, it’ll get worst before it gets better. Mitt hasn’t even begun to use all of that money he and his cartel has amassed. Hang on to your uppers, September is gonna be a doozy.
