Man either Harry Reid really does know something, or he has balls the size of a planet!!!

Harry Reid Reiterates Demand For Romney To Release Tax Returns

…โ€œThere is a controversy because the Republican presidential nominee, Governor Mitt Romney, refuses to release his tax returns. As I said before, I was told by an extremely credible source that Romney has not paid taxes for ten years. People who make as much money as Mitt Romney have many tricks at their disposal to avoid paying taxes. We already know that Romney has exploited many of these loopholes, stashing his money in secret, overseas accounts in places like Switzerland and the Cayman Islands…

…โ€œItโ€™s clear Romney is hiding something, and the American people deserve to know what it is. Whatever Romneyโ€™s hiding probably speaks volumes about how he would approach issues that directly impact middle-class families, like tax reform and the economy. When you are running for president, you should be an open book.

โ€œI understand Romney is concerned that many people, Democrats and Republicans, have been calling on him to release his tax returns. He has so far refused. There is only one thing he can do to clear this up, and thatโ€™s release his tax returns.โ€..

Harry Reid and Lawrence are both individually on fire!!!

Reid isn’t backing down from his claims that Romney may not have paid taxes for 10 years and all the Romney camp can say is “put up or shut up.” How childish is that?

The underlying point with what Reid is doing is that Romney’s lack of transparency regarding his tax returns keeps rearing its ugly head and the only way for Romney to dispel these claims is to release the tax returns. His continued refusal makes him look shady and untrustworthy in the eyes of voters. This can be seen in the latest poll numbers.

Ahhh…Harry Reid. You sly sly wonderful man.

Former President Bill Clinton is slated to meet with donors at a private residence in Manhattan to urge them to open their wallets to the pro-President Obama super PAC Priorities USA Action, two sources told POLITICO.

The event is a briefing, as opposed to solely a fundraiser, and a presentation will be given by former Clinton aides Harold Ickes and Sean Sweeney, both of whom are advisers to the super PAC, the sources said.

The event will be held on Aug. 15, the sources said. The guest list hasn’t been finalized.

Priorities officials, as well as Obama campaign officials, have increasingly been turning to Clinton for help in rainmaking as the Mitt Romney campaign and outside Republican groups are set to massively outraise the Democrats.

Priorities has consistently been outraised by the pro-Romney super PAC Restore Our Future, despite a better haul in June than the group had had before.

It’s been praised on messaging as well as effectiveness in terms of spending targets. The super PAC led the way on the Bain Capital messaging, carrying the attacks on Romney’s business career that even Republicans privately acknowledge have been an undefended point of vulnerability for the GOP nominee.

I’m in to sign this petition. A gay family has invited TheChickenPlace guy to dinner…..

My name is Marci Alt. I live in Atlanta, Georgia with Marlysa, my wife of 8 years, and our two children, where we lead a pretty normal life. My wife and I are both small business owners, and like many American families, our family enjoys family vacations, going to church and temple, and large cookouts with our extended family, friends and community.

However, many loving American families like ours face unfair hardships because they are denied the chance to legally marry.

Take Action Now: Tell Dan Cathy to Meet with the Alt Family

Since 2003, Chick-fil-A has given more than $5 million to organizations that actively work to hurt LGBT Americans. These groups include the American Family Association, which the Southern Poverty Law Center deems a hate group. Additionally, Chick-fil-A has donated to groups that have gone on record as calling for “criminal sanctions” against gay and lesbian Americans, as well as groups that promote so-called “ex-gay therapy,” a practice both debunked and deemed as harmful by nearly every major medical authority in the country.

Chick-fil-A COO Dan Cathy himself said that our LGBT-accepting culture suffers from a “deprived mind,” that marriage equality is “twisted up,” and that making marriage equality legal is “inviting God’s judgment.”

Well in less than 2 days President barack Hussein Obama will be 51 and when he leaves office in 2017 he will be 55. So he and his lovely wife and the children will still have the time to spend lots of quality time together as a family out of the public. What we must do as his supporters is to encourage and bless him and his family and stay in their corner. We love the Obamas. Also we must continue to give prayer, love and support to President Obama, his family, Vice-President Biden, his family and their family doggiesfor these next 5 years. So let us stay in continued support after they win in November.

So. #Miitiot is going to outraise us.

    So what?

Let me tell you a little story about California 2010, and a certain two wealthy females who thought they could BUY their way into government…..

Meg Whitman spent $160 MILLION. And lost to Jerry Brown who she outspent 6 to 1. Details here:

Carly Fiorina ran against Barbara Boxer, but never wrote her own personal check to her own campaign. Barbara managed to outraise her. But the numbers were much closer. $28 million for Barbara, and $22.6 million for Carly.

Both had wrecked other companies, and made millions doing it. Much like Mittiot.

The key was not only were they pathetic empty suits, they both spent MILLIONS blanketing the airwaves nonstop to the point it pissed everyone off, and insutled our intelligence. When campaign ads are run over and over, even if you’re trying to ignore them, they become like song worms…. you memorize them – including the LIES that are easily checked and debunked. They also make you look DESPERATE. Like a bad date that refuses to accept you don’t want to see them again…. and keeps calling. Over and over…. leaving message after message.

    There will be blowback.

The American people aren’t as stupid as the GOP hope they are. Which is why they’ll try to steal it. Again. Massive turnout is key, as are lots of poll watchers…. making sure everyone has IDs, and outlawing the purge lists.

Here’s Gabby Douglas in a more relaxed setting, being adorable, with what looks to be a wonderful host family in West Des Moines, Ia., with whom she has lived for the last 2 years so she could work with her coach there. It’s a more natural look at her. My one complaint about the Olympics is the committee too overprogrammed the athletes in their responses to the media. Too rote. What a beautiful moment for her and all who have cared for and about her—-she had lots of people cheering her on, from all corners.

The Gabby Douglas story is amazing on so many levels and it shows that we’re all in this together…race didn’t matter – African-American gymnast, Asian coach, White host family, all united in purpose toward a shared goal. This is a story for a movie producer. I would definitely go see it.

I am sitting here in Colorado (a swing state) watching the news. I guess Romney was here today. The news had him saying “I will create 10 million jobs my first 4 years.” What a lying piece of _____. Then I see about 5 negative ads in a row. I have been out canvasing for about 4 weeks now. I am taking off for about 5 days, but then watch out. President Obama is coming next Thursday (yes I have a ticket) and Colorado better watch out! According to a new report, U.S. workers could see an increase in pay despite a lagging labor market and an uncertain economic outlook.

The human resource consulting firm Mercer says base pay is expected to rise an average of 2.9% in 2013, up slightly from 2.7% in 2012 and 2011 and 2.3% in 2010. The forecast indicates a steadily increasing trend in base pay, the report said.

More than 95% of organizations surveyed are planning to increase salaries, and next year is expected to be the third in a row to see a decline in the number of salary freezes and reductions, according to the study.

(hmmm–third year in a row, maybe just maybe due to the president!!!)

Good morning early risers. I woke up early here in SoCal and turned on Bill Press, and he was fighting mad at Michael Moore, because he heard him say on a panel that he does not support PBO, but he will hold his nose and vote for him. This really, really made Press angry and he called out all liberals who are thinking like MM. He says that it is time to do everything that we can to re-elect PBO. I was a little surprised because Press certainly has been a critic at times.

The Obama campaign has taken the extraordinary step of booking $77 million in additional ad time starting Friday and running through Election Day, a Republican ad buying source told CNN.

The new buy is for thirty second broadcast TV spots that will run in eight battleground states.

Through Thursday Team Obama will have spent at least $106 million in general election ads โ€“ more than twice what the Mitt Romney campaign has bought. This buy will bring his total media purchase so far this cycle to almost $190 million.

Baghdad Dan Senor said yesterday the reason PBO was leading in the polls was because the PBO campaign had spent so much more on teevee ads, and once Willard started spending his ad money the polls would change to Willard’s favor. And we know Baghdad Dan is always correct with his analysis.

The Press does not inform you that the reason Robney cannot put everything into ad Times, is because He is 1 full year behind the Obama Camp in fundraising.
The President started Jount Fundraising in April of 2011, Robney started his Committee fundraising in April 2012. The results, 535 million so far for OFA, 176 million so far for Robney Camp. Thus, Robney and the RNC have a lot of infrastructure buying and catch up and hiring of staff, that is required with the money he attians!

Just a quick shout out to say that I was there at the Leesburg rally last night, about 25 feet away from PBO, and it was awesome! His tone was really serious and intense. Talked a lot about (R)money’s tax plan and the independent analysis. Contrasted that plan (top-down) with his (bottom-up) and emphasized how we’ve already tried their way before. Hammered home that their tax plan doesn’t help the deficit but does give tax breaks to millionaires and costs the average middle-class family an extra $2k.

Here in Virginia, we’re fired up and ready to go!
