Wrote this in the previous thread and want to be sure you see it – an explanation of the latest “family tip jar” #ADollarADayToOFA tweets and the scale that is available even if only 1/5th of the people of voted in 2008 for #PBO participated. Even if Mitt Romney didn’t attend a single meeting or utter a single word on behalf of Bain Capital, the fact that he signed those documents means something. You don’t put your signature on something without the expectation of being held accountable. And signing SEC documents has a particular level of accountability – and felonious level of accountability. That’s why CEOs and CFOs are now criminally legible for the actions of their company ever since Sarbanes Oxley legislation, and when they sign for something – it means something. Even though these docs are before the Sarbanes Oxley legislation, signing SEC documents still held some weight. If Mitt misrepresented himself and his oversight of the company, he’s also liable for any losses during that time for misleading his investors.
Also – didn’t some of the Olympic people say that Mitt was kind of hands-off during the Olympics, as well? I could have sworn I read this recently.
theo, the triple bottom line on the deal is that he owned 100 % of Bain Capital until at least 2003. He has no where to hide; it was ALL HIS. And, I’m sure, that is a big reason he won’t release the tax returns he showed McCain in 2008.
If the use of swiftboat is our side against them, I object. I thought swiftboating referred to lying not uncovering hidden information voters may need to use to determine their votes. I don’t think what was done here on our part should be considered swiftboating.
This! Right on point, theo. Every word. Like when we sign our tax forms, we attest to the fact that they are true and accurate…unless all that accountability is only for the 99% of us….

And another thing. If Romney wasn’t the CEO for those three years, who was?
Shouldn’t someone be coming forward to say they were in charge, not Mitt. Wouldn’t there be minutes from a board meeting detailing the line of succession? How about a mass email sent out to everyone at Bain congratulating the new CEO like you would get at every other company in America? These are arrogant fuckers, surely there has to be one Bain brochure with the new non-Mitt CEO standing in front of his office. Surely Bain must have an investor newsletter that would tell investors that Romney was out in 1999 and the new CEO was in charge. Where is all that stuff?
They got no answers to any of the legit questions being asked by the O campaign. Poutrage and distraction is all they got. nd fucking msm enables them but then with their ratings in toilet (recent gallup poll had them in their lowest ratings ever at 21%), they don’t matter anymore.

The headline in the Times is “Romney Seeks Obama Apology for Bain Attacks”.
In the Journal “Romney Defends Bain Capital Tenure”.
This is ‘bitch slap’ politics played with a gusto and coldness seldom seen from Democrats, at least since the Bill Clinton days. Asking for an apology is losing. Saying you want something you clearly have no power to get is losing.
There’s a meta-politics Obama is playing by slashing at Romney with suggestions he might be a felon. He’s wounding Romney, who is clearly rattled and angry about the charges, but just as clearly can’t defend himself or strike back. As I’ve noted many times, a thick layer of presidential politics (in a way that’s distinct from US politics at really every other level) resides at the brainstem level of cogitation — with gambits to assert power and demonstrate dominance. Obama looked in control of this situation; Romney didn’t.
TPM Reader JL could barely contain himself …
Bitch slap politics at it’s finest.
Step 1. Obama tells Romney to man up and take responsibility.
Coming soon …
Step 2. Romney whines that it’s beneath the office.
Step 3. BO Surrogates tell Mitt, you’re running for President for God’s sake. Don’t be such a girly man!!
whoa. “a thick layer of presidential politics… resides at the brainstem level of cogitation — with gambits to assert power and demonstrate dominance. Obama looked in control of this situation”

#ApologiesToMittRomney Sorry u had to dodge the draft, move to France & miss out on Vietnam, but don’t worry, my uncle filled in for U. #RIP
What a wonderful day here in VA. My President looks absolutely *beautiful* in these pics — great color, great shape, high spirits, giving and receiving the love and respect of the people. I hope he is being replenished and strengthened by the positive energy being beamed in his direction.
A false SEC filing is a serious offense; to say so is not disgusting. So is potential perjury in 2002 when Romney detailed his continued involvement in Bain-owned enterprises in the period he retained the CEO title and now says he had nothing whatsoever to do with Bain. The SEC filing rules apply to everyone – except, it seems, to Romney, and his well-paid legal and accounting team. They may have so internalized this immunity from any accountability that Romney may indeed genuinely feel disgusted by being called to follow the normal rules, or called out on logical inconsistencies.
I’m getting the feeling that Romney thinks he is above the level of accountability required in a presidential candidate or even in an average ethical businessman. He seems genuinely offended to be directly challenged with facts – which he still won’t address or rebut in detail. So he simply huffs and puffs and uses words like “disgusting” for a perfectly valid charge in the big boy world of presidential politics.
This does not seem to me to be like a candidate ready for prime time.
if a corporation is a person, then mittbot is a slave trader and human trafficker. that’s what bain and vulture capitalists do – buy and sell and bleed-dry their “properties” in order to enrich themselves.
I wonder if Jonathan Karl thinks he did a good job of questioning Mitt Romney about the controversy surrounding his departure from Bain Capital. I hope Mr. Karl is currently hitting himself in the face with a 2×4 in some sort of ritual penance for dropping the ball.
The first question is like something out of tee-ball. Karl notes that someone in the Obama campaign mentioned that he might have committed a felony, but he doesn’t explain why, and then he just offers Romney a chance to rebut the charge. That’s pathetic, and it doesn’t help inform his viewers about the issue at all. It just makes it sound like an unsubstantiated allegation had been made.
His second question is to ask whether the president should apologize for the behavior of his staff. How’s that for hard-hitting?
With his third question he actually makes a go at being a journalist. He asks Romney if he can avoid being responsible for the actions of Bain Capital when he was the owner, the CEO, and the chairman of the board. But, when Romney insists that he bears zero responsibility for Bain’s action despite his positions, Karl meekly follows up by saying, “So you bear no responsibility?”
And then look at his next question and ask yourself if Sarah Palin could do worse:
KARL: So you don’t disavow what happened at the company, that they may have done things that were wrong, not wrong that you had nothing to do with. would there be something with being associated with Bain Capitol during those years
ah, those “family values” and “patriotic” republicans…saw this on the alex okrent article at the chicago sun times:
“EDITOR’S NOTE: Due to the tone and content of many of the comments associated with this story, commenting has been turned off. The Sun-Times encourages readers to make their voices heard, but commenting must maintain a respectful and constructive tone.”
surely it’s “both sides” doing it, right sun times?!?
Sad. I say we work as hard, or harder than Alex would have…and win this one with him in our hearts. The ignorance and hatred just makes me work harder.
There is the chart from Pew, then this…that I have to agree with!
The significant lead Romney has over the president on reducing the federal deficit is a great example of just how bad the media coverage of the federal deficit has been. Particularly during the summer of last year leading up to the debt ceiling hostage crisis.
President Obama has lowered the deficit since taking office and has passed legislation that will eliminate the deficit within this decade.
The federal deficit was $1.4 trillion in fiscal year 2009. The fiscal 2009 budget was the last budget passed by George W. Bush. The projected federal deficit for fiscal 2012 is $937 billion according to the Congressional Budget Office.
With the elimination of the Bush Tax Cuts included in the Budget Control Act (the debt ceiling deal) the federal deficit may entirely vanish by 2018.
Alternatively, the limited proposals Mitt Romney has debuted during his time running for president would balloon the deficit and add as much as $10 trillion to the national debt.
Let me get this straight: PBO is responsible for every job lost from the moment he was sworn in, jobs that were lost because of Bush’s disastrous economic policies, but Romney is NOT responsible for his OWN policies put in motion as sole shareholder, owner, President and CEO of Bain?
This clip from Martin Bashir’s program today prior to the Romney whine fest this evening was on a previous thread but am reposting here because it is worth watching. Karen Finney stated something interesting, namely that Romney released tax returns in the 90’s when he was running for Senate and got his ass creamed on Bain and negative ads about Bain and lost. When he ran for Gov in 2002 he didn’t release ANY tax returns and won the office. But yet he had no problem turning 23 years worth of tax returns over to McCain to be vetted for VP in 08.
Yes, several. Here’s a snippet from her bio. And yes the Times guy was equivocating and trying to dismiss tthe SEC filings as just “a piece of paper”. PLEASE! I’m glad that Martin doesn’t sit still for any of that nonsense.
Karen’s more than 20 years in national politics includes four presidential campaigns, the Clinton White House, a New York Senate race, as well as being the first African American spokeswoman for the Democratic National Committee. Karen has also worked to improve public education in the public and private sectors.
As spokeswoman and Communications Director for the Democratic National Committee Karen helped guide the DNC’s communications and media strategy for Howard Dean’s “50 State Strategy”, re-branding the Democratic Party, the successful 2006 Congressional elections and DNC strategy for the 2008 presidential campaign. During the Clinton Administration, Karen served as Deputy Press Secretary to then First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton and as Deputy Director of Presidential Scheduling for President Bill Clinton. Karen has also travelled to all 62 counties in New York State as a Press Secretary for Hillary Clinton’s successful bid for the U.S. Senate in 2000; during the general election in 2004 she travelled with Elizabeth Edwards as her Communications Director.
I have heard several Republicans say PBO is attacking Romney because he can’t run on his record. Nonsens. I wish pundits would stop them midtrack and challenge them.
Charlie Rose began to challenge PBO when he referred to Romney’s “Mr. Fix-It” assumptions. Well, of course tht is what Romney is saying, over and over again….
“The problem for Romney, though, is that the tax question inevitably boils down to, “If he has nothing to hide, why doesn’t he just show us his taxes?” The answer to that question is that Romney has never claimed to have nothing to hide. In the returns we’ve already seen, there was plenty that Romney would have preferred to keep hidden, from a Swiss bank account to a shell company in Bermuda. The implication of Romney’s refusal to disclose more is that the political flak he continues to take for his secrecy is still thought to be less painful than the potential public financial colonoscopy. And that will lead many to conclude that he does, indeed, have something to hide.”
The last thing I want right now is for Romney to withdraw. I want him to ride this trolley all the way to the end of the line. After November 6th I don’t care what he does.
A doctor, a lawyer and an engineer were discussing the relative merits of having a wife or a mistress. The lawyer says: “For sure a mistress is better. If you have a wife and want a divorce, it causes all sorts of legal problems.”
The doctor says: “It’s better to have a wife because the sense of security lowers your stress and is good for your health.”
The engineer says: “You’re both wrong. It’s best to have both so that when the wife thinks you’re with the mistress and the mistress thinks you’re with your wife – you can go to the office and get some real work done.
Where do you get these little “gems”? I must admit, some of them are so funny, I send them to my husband…and then HE shares at work…your works are famous:)
Plagiarism? Heavens no…I’m just jealous because I can’t ever remember jokes…ever. If you told me a joke, I wouldn’t be able to tell the joke to you 5 minutes later…seriously. But yours are pretty good…even if some are, shall we say…a little sexist at times:)
Mitt Romney, speaking to the Salt Lake Tribune about Bain Capital and his political career in February of 1999, just after he decided to take the job turning around the 2002 Summer Olympics:
I’m not a powder puff…. By that I mean that it’s not that I would never consider laying off workers or closing down a plant to save a company. Unfortunately in the business world I know, the world of troubled companies, many businesses can get better with medicine. But many others require painful, wrenching surgery. I have been involved with companies that concluded they had to close a plant in order to survive. And that’s an awful, awful thing to have happen. And it’s death for a politician to be associated with that.
Thanks for the soundtrack while I did all my reading and emailing links tonite ladies. Doing some phonebanking tomorrow so gonna call it a night. It was a lovely day. I know Bill Withers’ version of Lovely Day is the quintessential awesome sauce, but I like this mellow version by Walter Beasley too and with that will leave y’all to it.. G’nite. Fais de beaux reves!
How great have the last two days been? don’t know if anyone is awake and sorry if this has already been posted but given all the screaming over Stephanie Cutter from the Romney campaign it seems to have escaped their notice (and the media’s) that the first person to bring up the word ‘felony’ was their own surrogate, Dan Senor, in his humiliating debate with Robert Gibbs on Morning Joe a few days ago:
also sorry to hear about the young Obama campaign worker passing away in the Chicago headquarters. Sad. thoughts with his family and all who loved him.
We can’t get over confident, we have to continue to fight this because until we win it ain’t over. So we have to do whatever we can to help. Keep registering people, letting them know about the voter ID, helping them get that ID, doing whatever we can. Keep moving FORWARD. Knowing that we are in a battle, but it’a a battle we tend to WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well Night every1! + remember if Mitt can't Win the election he will try + Buy it or steal it! http://t.co/ZnMXl0aT— Carol Marie (@Carol888Cali) July 14, 2012
President Barack Obama has gained an advantage over Republican Mitt Romney in a Pew Research Center Poll showing public confidence in either one’s handling of the economy shifting toward the president in the past month.
Obama leads Romney by 50 percent to 43 percent among registered voters surveyed, Pew reports, with the Republican Party’s presumed presidential nominee losing 3 percentage points of support since its previous poll in early June.
Public opinion on which candidate would do a better job of improving economic conditions has shifted from an advantage for Romney in Pew’s June survey to support for Obama in the latest survey of 2,373 registered voters conducted June 28-July 9.
“Romney has not seized the advantage as the candidate best able to improve the economy,” the Pew Research Center states in its Web-site report on the survey. “In fact, he has lost ground on the issue over the past month.”
C-SPAN’s topic this morning is where should Olympic clothing be manufactured. Does that mean this is a more important issue than Willard’s lies and tax returns?
What all the fuss about Condi Rice is really all about = STERICYCLE.
The abortion fetus company Bain invested in (during the 1999 period that Romney is now running away from) has the capacity to wreak havoc on the R campaign. If pro lifers get to hear about this story – the way they have been hearing about the SEC filings this week – then MR can kiss a lot of their votes goodbye. Cue Condi Rice speculation nonsense . MR has no intention of selecting Ms Rice as veep and I doubt she would be interested but her sole function (remember she is pro choice) is for her name to be floated so that Romney can then very ostentatiously refuse to select her on the grounds of his firm pro life standards. He does not have the base sewn up – they don’t trust him and this stunt is simply to distract from the Stericycle story. I think the stericycle story has to be out there for every rabid pro lifer to absorb.
If anyone here has any friends/family/co workers/ neighbours who are raging pro lifers please start spreading the news. Also if we can get a list of pro life groups we can do a collective carpet email/twitter bomb.
Obama is doing an early ad blitz that is going to bury Romney. Romney might be raising all this money, but Obama still has a great deal more raised since the campaign and is spending it in swing states defining his opponent. By the time September rolls around, Romney will be crawling out of Tampa!
I agree, they are defining Robney, and doing a great job. I also think when pundits say it is a bad economy. No! It’s stalled because of obstruction, but not bad! Losing 750k jobs per month, the day the President took office, that is bad.
So, the Pundits are also assisting Robney, but it ain’t working, me thinks Viters ate a little more sophisticated this election cycle!
Yes, voters are getting information through sources other than Tea-NN, FAUX and MSNBainCapital. They also TRUST this President more than any GOP pol, “political strategist” or cable news reporter.
I love the visuals of each country and the fact that his phony voice is singing “America” in the background. It leaves an emotional gut reaction to the very idea of hid bid for the presidency. It’s just beyond brilliant. Jim Margolis is a god.
Everytime I see him I can only think of a time he was reporting from London and continually pronounced the River “Thames” as it appears and not as it should, “Temz”. For such an important feature of London and England one would think he would have done a little homework.
The DREAM should not be about making more money and not paying taxes in the country where you made it.., http://t.co/QjrMqEMf— (@Creoleleo) July 14, 2012
Well said… “Whitewater didn’t define Clinton — he was running on other issues. Barack Obama didn’t run for president as the Jeremiah Wright candidate, and George W. Bush didn’t run on his service in the National Guard,” Begala said, referring to the issues that plagued previous presidential campaigns. “But Romney is a one-trick pony. The only calling card Romney has for the presidency is his time in business. He never mentions his record in Massachusetts — those years have been scrubbed. His raison d’être is his business background, and he won’t come clean on it.”
In addition to Priorities USA Action, U.S. Senate-focused Majority PAC raised $5.4 million for the quarter, with lower chamber-centric House Majority PAC generating $4.3 million. American Bridge 21st Century and American Bridge 21st Century Foundation, which primarily attack Republican candidates, combined to raise $4.1 million, the groups said.
C-SPAN now has Charles Hurt from the right wing Washinton Times to discuss the 2012 election. He does not think Bain is important. He said Willard should have been talking about Condi Rice in the interviews yesterday not Bain. There is no one else in the discussion until callers call in.
Okay Bill, that is what they say before the camera, but behind close doors what are they saying? Maybe they are remembering what Rick Santorum said about Mitt being the wrong choice to go up against Obama.
Apparently he does not know what’s been happening in the news……he should find another profession. Oh yeah, the media “creates” their own news and wonders why no one reads newspapers anymore.
So, Chris Hayes is talking about food stamps and not Bain?
I dunno! He had commercials saying he will be interviewing people from Bain, and now we are on food stamps?
Odd!
Another jam-packed week for PBO. Stops in Cinci, then San Antonio and Austin in Tx., back to WH on Wed., then Th. and Fri. in Fl.—-Jacksonville, Palm Beach, Ft. Myers and Orlando.
Absolutely fantastic pictures and day for our great President!! Thank you Chips!!!

For us, yes! For the low info-voter? I am not so sure.
If you mean teabaggers, then no. But the indies, the so called swing voters, won’t be impressed by mittbot’s obfuscations.
Low info voters are probably not watching these shows. Too boring.

Nope! He blamed Stephanie Cutter!
Well Mitt can blame Stephaine Cutter for him losing this election. I’m sure she will wear the badge with honor.
Thanks for taking us along on the campaign stops, Chips.
Have a good night and a beautiful weekend everyone. It is so good to finally see some push-back against Mitt the liar from some print media outlets after the O Team’s lead. Our guy has this. Keep the faith.
Stephanie Cutter on FTN against Kevin Madden!

Don’t lose sight of the forest ….

Kick’n #BainMitt’s butt!!! 😀 😀 😀
Yeh! LOVE IT!!! 😀
Time to move on to the kitchen and prepare some dinner, but wanted to leave all you folk with this terse bit of perfection … 🙂
Clever!

Ok, I am putting down my marker today. It will be 55-45 blowout for PBO on Nov 6th. You heard it here first.
want to bet $ 10,000??
Several weeks ago I said 53-47. I like your figures better amk…….
61%!
and we keep the Senate and get the House back. Reid rewrites Senate rules to simple majority and we’re off to save the American people!

I love it!! Are we sure Obama’s a Dem?

Lovely rikyrah. Tweeting those steps.
whoa. “a thick layer of presidential politics… resides at the brainstem level of cogitation — with gambits to assert power and demonstrate dominance. Obama looked in control of this situation”

Hillary was a tougher opponent than Robme. What a whimp!
Read somewhere that the Prez is a 4th quarter player. This is the 4th quarter. Heat is on.
Oooo… That’s going on my nephew’s wall tomorrow!
Very important words!!
Very nice!

Absolutely hilarious! Smart and witty.
Time to fire up tonight’s soundtrack… First, a little fired up ass-kickin’ music
Love the Dixies and this song in particular because they were first si WRONGLY villified and then “SEVERELY” vindicated. 🙂
What a wonderful day here in VA. My President looks absolutely *beautiful* in these pics — great color, great shape, high spirits, giving and receiving the love and respect of the people. I hope he is being replenished and strengthened by the positive energy being beamed in his direction.
Thanks for the awesome coverage today, Chips! 😛
Did I post this already? http://andrewsullivan.thedailybeast.com/2012/07/romneys-got-nothing.html
After reviewing all we now know, he says this:
Jonathan Karl Needs an Adult Diaper
by BooMan
Fri Jul 13th, 2012 at 11:16:27 PM EST
KARL: So you don’t disavow what happened at the company, that they may have done things that were wrong, not wrong that you had nothing to do with. would there be something with being associated with Bain Capitol during those years
http://www.boomantribune.com/story/2012/7/13/231627/193
She could, but WTH is he saying??
in honor of alex okrent, let’s make sure barack gets better congress to work with this fall! forward!!
ah, those “family values” and “patriotic” republicans…saw this on the alex okrent article at the chicago sun times:
“EDITOR’S NOTE: Due to the tone and content of many of the comments associated with this story, commenting has been turned off. The Sun-Times encourages readers to make their voices heard, but commenting must maintain a respectful and constructive tone.”
surely it’s “both sides” doing it, right sun times?!?
Sad. I say we work as hard, or harder than Alex would have…and win this one with him in our hearts. The ignorance and hatred just makes me work harder.
I find it hard to understand what kind of people would leave nasty messages during such a time. They’re not human.
Apologies To Mitt Romney is now trending on twitter! Hahahaha.
I was reading them…pretty witty!
http://bobcesca.com/blog-archives/2012/07/bain-aside-romney-trails-on-nearly-every-issue.html
Yes…I think that’s exactly what BS they want to say.
You got it in one sentence, 57.
The times guy was trying to cover mittbot’s ass by bashir wouldn’t let him. Finney was great. Did she work in political campaigns before ?
“Romney leaves his hole”… his ratf*cker hole?
h/t to PoliticalCarnival:
Hilarious. Added it to my 2012 Election Survival Kit when I need a laugh.
More mittbot bashing
Harry Reid on Senate floor: Romney ‘basically paid no taxes in the prior 12 years’
Is this why mittbot tax-returns are so toxic ?
This is not going away despite the msm covering for mehmney.
Pretty soon even they will stop covering. There’s too much stuff on this guy to let themselves keep getting scooped by other news outlets.
I read on TOD that PObama Pushed Back.
Short and sweet, from Deaniac: http://www.thepeoplesview.net/2012/07/what-if-mitt-romney-ran-america-same.html
Awesome read.
There’s a none too subtle message in here for Willard.
You’re on a roll, Dudette! Love these.
Just a little fun:
There was once a guy called Mitt
who thought he was certainly “it”
but his boasting of Bain
turned into real pain
So Mitt is no longer quite fit,
Good night all.
Turned it into a tweet. h/t to you. 🙂
Happy 50th birthday, Stones. 50 years. BFD!
And with those two contributions, good night good people.
Night, LL 🙂
Romney’s Clear As Mud Bain Explanation
“The problem for Romney, though, is that the tax question inevitably boils down to, “If he has nothing to hide, why doesn’t he just show us his taxes?” The answer to that question is that Romney has never claimed to have nothing to hide. In the returns we’ve already seen, there was plenty that Romney would have preferred to keep hidden, from a Swiss bank account to a shell company in Bermuda. The implication of Romney’s refusal to disclose more is that the political flak he continues to take for his secrecy is still thought to be less painful than the potential public financial colonoscopy. And that will lead many to conclude that he does, indeed, have something to hide.”
http://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2012/07/romneys-clear-as-mud-bain-explanation/259834/
I think my favorite 3 words in this article is “public financial colonoscopy” 😆
BAM!
It would be helpful if the MSM would ask Willard that question.
They will never. They are on his team!
As long as we got some Hall and Oates here…
Good one! LOL!!
Here’s another one for Willard
That’s for Willard from his base. 🙂
LOL! PLEASE!
Because this song makes me happy…and he has a damn great voice! Sweet Freedom!
Oh YESSSSSS!!!
Dear Willard, This is for you. Obots
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!!! Hell yeh!!
And, thus, my one truly kind bit of advice to #BainMitt …
The last thing I want right now is for Romney to withdraw. I want him to ride this trolley all the way to the end of the line. After November 6th I don’t care what he does.

LOL.
Excellent!
Hey, that reminds me of a song! 🙂
A twofer:)
Looks like wild wimmin have taken over the stage. I better exit left.
NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 🙂
Don’t leave. We need you fellas for the party. We’ll be good. 🙂
Why are men with pierced ears better prepared for marriage?
They’ve experienced pain and bought jewelry.

you still want me to stay ?
🙂 Yes…stay. We put up with your jokes, and you put up with our music. Fair trade!
stud jokes vs girly music ? That’s not a fair trade.
/ducks and runs
You little stinker!
You are pushing it, buster!
Until we meet again ….
night, Bob:)

“Honey,” said this husband to his wife, “I invited a friend home for supper.”
“What? Are you crazy? The house is a mess, I haven’t been shopping, all the dishes are dirty, and I don’t feel like cooking a fancy meal!”
“I know all that.”
“Then why did you invite a friend for supper?”
“Because the poor fool is thinking about getting married.”
Where do you get these little “gems”? I must admit, some of them are so funny, I send them to my husband…and then HE shares at work…your works are famous:)
You accusing me of plagiarism ??? That’s beneath the office of …. a desertflower. I demand an apology.
Plagiarism? Heavens no…I’m just jealous because I can’t ever remember jokes…ever. If you told me a joke, I wouldn’t be able to tell the joke to you 5 minutes later…seriously. But yours are pretty good…even if some are, shall we say…a little sexist at times:)
Just give him this
Now I am really offended. They are only ‘a little’ sexist ? 🙂
🙂
Breaking- in an effort to breathe new life into the MItt Romney campaign they have created a new campaign song: “You’re So Bain!”
OMG, I was just thinking about Carly Simon’s version of this! LOL!!!
Opps! http://www.politico.com/blogs/media/2012/07/romney-death-by-association-128919.html#.UAC-z8lJc9o.twitter

Why are married women heavier than single women?
Single women come home, see what’s in the fridge and go to bed. Married women come home, see what’s in bed and go to the fridge.
….
Single women claim that all the good men are married, while all married women complain about their lousy husbands.
This confirms that there is no such thing as a good man.
This also confirms that women are always confused and don’t know what they want.
….
I’m outta here.
Grrrr!
What, the first one is actually a ding against we men.
Pfft.

Thanks for the soundtrack while I did all my reading and emailing links tonite ladies. Doing some phonebanking tomorrow so gonna call it a night. It was a lovely day. So er um, this took place in April in Chapel Hill (Blue Heaven to be exact). 🙂
As I recall, student loan rates didn’t double on July 1, isn’t that right? Must be Mitt’s fault. Hmmm, good news for John McCain.
That’s what I’m talking about! When are people going to get out of their own lala land and realize that abstinence doesn’t work?

Though I’m not sure the “condoms made in India” was that important…amk, care to weigh in? Do they have better condoms in India? Gotcha!
We have over one billion population and rising. What do you think ? Gotchaback. 😉

Great find!
Still in the time window…I want to see if he was really connected to Bain AFTER that…can’t seem to figure out SEC site very well:)
Alright… the bed is calling. Here’s a little something to keep in mind when the Repugs get you down! 😀 😀 😀
there is no whining in politics, chided john cheever, veteran rethug strategist. stop demanding an apology and release your taxes.

How great have the last two days been? don’t know if anyone is awake and sorry if this has already been posted but given all the screaming over Stephanie Cutter from the Romney campaign it seems to have escaped their notice (and the media’s) that the first person to bring up the word ‘felony’ was their own surrogate, Dan Senor, in his humiliating debate with Robert Gibbs on Morning Joe a few days ago:
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/3036789/ns/msnbc_tv-morning_joe/#48117624
also sorry to hear about the young Obama campaign worker passing away in the Chicago headquarters. Sad. thoughts with his family and all who loved him.
Gibbs is a very smart debater.
Yes – he is very good on the attack and one of the few really good counterpunches the Dems have. He should be on all the shows more often.
This is a huge shift for PBO and the last difficult political mountain that he has now climbed.
Chips – Please highlight this in R&S.
Chris Hayes says he is getting to the bottom of this Bain stuff by interviewing a firmer Bain employee.
Nice!
C-SPAN’s topic this morning is where should Olympic clothing be manufactured. Does that mean this is a more important issue than Willard’s lies and tax returns?
Apparently, they have demographics that show their viewers lean right! Its the only explanation.
Hmm…I tend to be skeptical about Hayes where the president is concerned so I will wait and see. It may not be what we think it is.
But lets hope it’s not some subtle undermining of the President’s attempt to expose Willard. I see that Ezra Klein has been doing that already.
Tweet that to alex Witt and Chris Hayes!
Anyone interested or agree with tis theory?
Our Campaign released another ad this morning in 9 swing states, pushing Robney in Bain.
Nice!
Hahahahahahaha…..
You’ll like this one amk…

OH. MY. GAWD. I can’t believe how brilliant this is!!!!
Good morning TODville!! We have an OUTSTANDING CAMPAIGN on our hands!! Wow, this is going to hurt that joker Romney, bad.
GM meta.
Awesome isn’t it ? As I was saying to gobrooklyn on twitter, mittbot must be ruing the day he decided go all copycat on PBO. 🙂
Good morning, amk.
I love the visuals of each country and the fact that his phony voice is singing “America” in the background. It leaves an emotional gut reaction to the very idea of hid bid for the presidency. It’s just beyond brilliant. Jim Margolis is a god.
Is Peter Alexander on the payroll? He is lousy!
He really is. He’s pathetic and crap. Pure crap.
Your funny and very loyal to the President! Thanks for that!
I phone thingy typed Your! I dont understand this spellcheck. 50% of the time it’s good!
Everytime I see him I can only think of a time he was reporting from London and continually pronounced the River “Thames” as it appears and not as it should, “Temz”. For such an important feature of London and England one would think he would have done a little homework.

LOL.
This picture is so powerful. The imagery and emotions it invokes is just breathtaking.
I would love to have this poster…..or see it as an ad.
🙂
He’s on the ropes. They have him so dizzy, he doesn’t know whether he’s coming or going.

Den super PAC money forsecond quarter-
In addition to Priorities USA Action, U.S. Senate-focused Majority PAC raised $5.4 million for the quarter, with lower chamber-centric House Majority PAC generating $4.3 million. American Bridge 21st Century and American Bridge 21st Century Foundation, which primarily attack Republican candidates, combined to raise $4.1 million, the groups said.
Prioritues USA raised 11.3 million for the quarter-
Not bad! Picking up!
I just LOVE this ad. It tells you all you need to know about presidential candidate Willard. It should be blasted everywhere.
Awesome, awesome ad. Their showing it on Chris Hayes show now!!! James Carville approves:))
“F”ING AWESOME…..TALK ABOUT A “BURN”…….ROBME’S BAD SINGING AND HIS BAD RECORD.
C-SPAN now has Charles Hurt from the right wing Washinton Times to discuss the 2012 election. He does not think Bain is important. He said Willard should have been talking about Condi Rice in the interviews yesterday not Bain. There is no one else in the discussion until callers call in.
The horrid Washington Times? Wow.
Okay Bill, that is what they say before the camera, but behind close doors what are they saying? Maybe they are remembering what Rick Santorum said about Mitt being the wrong choice to go up against Obama.
Apparently he does not know what’s been happening in the news……he should find another profession. Oh yeah, the media “creates” their own news and wonders why no one reads newspapers anymore.
https://twitter.com/BorowitzReport/status/224119283461005312
So, Chris Hayes is talking about food stamps and not Bain?
I dunno! He had commercials saying he will be interviewing people from Bain, and now we are on food stamps?
Odd!
The guy from Bain is going to be on tomorrow.
Chips, this quote needs its on headline….
