Just like his wife, Ann in April and the comments by Hilary Rosen.
These people think we are stupid. They believe in their bat poop crappy hateful stunts. This is a 65 yrs old man. And he is saying that this was what he wanted? He paused to get the full effect of the boos.
I couldn’t believe all the people who were pleased as punch that he “showed courage” —-that the man would come and speak to them. I watched a succession of talkers who seemed overly anxious to praise Willard——the last I saw was Jonathan Capehart who was happy as a lark about it and a black religious leader—sorry cannot recall his name—who said it was a win/win for the NAACP (for only booing that one time and showing him respect with the standing O) and a definite win/win for Romney. Yikes. Thankfully, Rev. Al, in talking to Tamron, reeled everyone back into some sort of reality and gave the occasion the disdain it deserved—–and suspicion that Romney wanted the boos— for tea party purposes.
For every person who was pleased that Willard showed “courage” there are at least 99 who knew this was a cynical ploy and are not falling for it. But MSNBC would not have allowed dissenting viewers. MSNBainCapital is part of Willard’s propaganda machine – so don’t expect anything less from them where he’s concerned. They probably had all these “pleased people” already lined up BEFORE Willard spoke.
Rev. Al also showed some of the comments being spoken by some of the attendees during Mitten’s speech. Believe me, the people were very polite, but they were also taking in what he was saying and more so thinking, “How in hell do you dare come up in here and try to diss the President of the United States in your remark and know that is what you intended to do in the first place and in front of us, will not wash, Mitten.”
“Mitt, we do not play that crap. If we want to diss POB, we will do it. So shut the crap up and get out of here now.”
Remember, Mitten was invited into their home, so why should they leave. Mitten should have been so ashamed of how disturbing his little act was staged and then tried to hide behind his”God comments.” These people need to stop mocking God, especially when they know that their crap is way out of touch with “God’s sermons.” These are Sorry behind liars and pretenders. African American people are on to this type of crap. Nothing new here in what Mitten did today.
But, let us move on and remember the same president that Mitten was trying to disprespect, has so many African Americans and all good people with respect, love, compassion with him, and we need to move with great urgency to stay focus and move FORWARD. We will move FORWARD. HZ
I think they were being polite to an invited speaker. I love the expression on the face of the young woman with glasses in the third picture.
“Momma told me there’d be days like this.” or “Lord, deliver me from fools!!” Any others?
One lady had a look: This man is chatting f–t. (flatulence). All the others look like they were at a funeral for someone they hated. Compare these folks with those at an Obama gathering. Night and day folks. Whew!
Yes, they were being polite to an invited speaker. Their mothers taught them well. Their good manners showed. Romney does not have good manners. He well demonstrated that by the way he talked about the ACA and President Obama.
That’s it..the 3rd pic down! Those women are being Polite but you can tell! As I wrote on the last thread.. Bless all their hearts for enduring the fucking sociopath.
LL, those remarks struck me as odd also. I can’t remember when he spoke them, but I agree also with you, especially since it has been reported that Mitt had planned to say what he said. It also shows just how much Mitt is proving to all of us that he has no core and is certainly an empty suit indeed. I have no use for Willard M. Romney. HZ
That was creepy. Better for him to have stayed home than go and insult people’s intelligence and patronize this very powerful and sensitive community. What an Ass!
“Mitt Romney NAACP African American Photo Op Results In Total Disaster “
“Mitt Romney’s inability to connect with his fellow humans was on full display today. When he was booed, Romney could have seized the opportunity to go off script and talk to the audience as people. Recent presidents like Obama, and Clinton would have done this. Heck, even George W. Bush might have cracked a joke, but Romney isn’t capable of that sort of behavior.
Unscripted moments can make or break a candidacy. The headlines would have been totally different if Romney would have been able to turn it around and use the audience’s displeasure to his advantage. Instead, the headline is Awkward Mitt Romney Booed at NAACP Convention.”
Well, one could imagine a bubble over the heads of the two women along the lines of ‘I can’t wait for trans-penile ultrasound to be mandatory for any man wanting a Viagra (or other brand) prescription’ 🙂
I like the picture of Mitt with the giant hand behind him – like it’s going to push him right off the stage into his adoring (?) fans (?) or maybe grab him by the head and squeeze. Sorry, it’s been a long day!
he is. he showed a PPP poll and said something like: keep in mind, this poll tends to lead towards Dems. It made me wonder aloud, does he say Gallup and Rasmussen tend to lean Repug? 🙄 that guy needs to go. Much as I can’t stand Tweety, he needs to either come back or find a better seat filler.
I just saw Michael S. replacement for Chris Matthews letting the LA Congressman completely lie about everything in ACA. He made a feeble attempt to try to get him to explain how they would insure the people who would lose out if the law was repealed.
It pleases me to see the audience looking like they are at a funeral rather than at a presidential candidate’s speech. I do not think PBO has ever had any audience look like this ever while he speaks and connects. Willard is going down the drain.
Dude sitting in Tweety’s chair said PBO isn’t doing a good job of communicating his record of tax cutter in chief which is why repugs can assail him as tax hiker in chief. Mute!!!!
Hey Bob, If you can, please tweet out this link..people have such short memories. The President was never asked back to an RNC Retreat:
I already sent it to Michael Smerconish. Yes I can spell it:
What is the context? Since I never watch TV or Cable, unless I know the context, I’m at a loss to be helpful. Did someone state that President Obama had been asked to a subsequent RNC retreat and try to pretend he was afraid to attend? If so, we know that’s totally laughable because we know how much our dear President enjoys kicking #KOCHSTER butt 🙂
Thank you. I’m off to a 330p conference call and will check back in an hour or so. Happy to try to help.
Everyone has mentioned on Twitter and cable that Mitt Romney was so brave to go the NAACP convention. Well our President did a great job in 2009. He spoke for over and hour and boy did he make every point sink in. Cable went nuts with his responses and said what a great job he did. They also said that they would not ask him back again unless he came without press. The press was in awe of our President.
just skimmed that clip again, and it’s amazing to think PBO is even better now at that stuff! he’s much more comfortable in his job now, and already then at the beginning, he was kicking republican behinds. he’s really incredible.
Fact, they have invited the president back, but there shall Never be a TV/cable audience allowed…..their letter has that on it. The pres then has said Thanks but I am engaged.
that’s been one of my favorite things to watch for a long time. barack just toys with those dumbasses. it’s funny to see when you watch stuff from a few years to see what media-pushed talking points were dominating at the time, and how those points are meaningless now, while PBO is totally consistent and working on the same things. no wonder republicans don’t want to do these anymore.
Thanks for posting this. I remember watching this and thinking, our president was so smart to have cameras there. He out smarts them on every turn. One of the things that the GOP touts are the simplistic, we can do this or that cheaply or it won’t cost anything, and then it turns out to cost ten times more. The President told them to their faces, “I sent your ideas to CREDIABLE economist and THEY SAID couldn’t be done.” The GOP does not run their crap by anyone who tells them the truth because they don’t care it doesn’t work out the way THEY TELL THE AMERICAN PEOPLE because once it goes through it’s too late. THAT”S why they want to overturn OBAMACARE because they know it will work well enough for the majority of people and reduce healthcare cost if implemented correctly.
So, some of us this morning were worried that the NAACP walked into Willard’s trap. It was obvious he wanted the boos, that he sought them out to—once again—prove his “real American” bona fides.
But instead it’s turned into a disaster, the sort that only Mitt can create. When Clinton had his Sista Soulja moment, he could pull it off, because he was just that good of an actor and politician. Mitt just came off as usual Mitt: stiff, awkward, entitled, clueless. The RWNJs will love it, but he already had them. The indies will look at his speech and just shake their heads.
Whether he wants to admit it or not, he’s depending on there being so much animus towards the nation’s first black president that white rage will sweep him to the White House. It’s a bet that, so far, he’s losing.
The expressions are funny. And seriously….who says “End Of Quote” I have never seen someone try so hard to be and act human. If he wasn’t running for the highest office in the land, it’d be freaking hilarious.
I just sent an email to my Rep. Ben Quayle….SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO proud of himself for this repeal vote.I handed it to him…took all my strength not be be snarky. I did tell him that he has nothing to be proud of…denying others what he, his family and congress enjoys…piece of mind that belongs to all of us knowing our healthcare is there for us when we need it. Asked him when they were going to vote on the Jobs Act…Reminded him that Boner was all about JOBS! JOBS! JOBS! except when he wasn’t. I said he should be ashamed of himself….and that I wanted a reply…after I get that reply, I WILL CALL his office…because they always send all the RW talking points back to me….and this is when the kids in the office get the Full Monty from me…
John King got His Map out, showing exactly, precisely where Willard will Eat into Obamas Base. He has a magnifying Galss, and gets right into Somebody’s living Room!
LOL!
And he spent all of ’09 going around getting people riled up to say how “unhappy and/or dissatisfied” they were with the way things were going. Maybe he should have focused more on his marriage instead.
This needs to get ALL OVER THE PLACE! After Republicans voted to repeal healthcare for millions of Americans, they HAD to recognize the fact that at a intracongress golf tournament…THE REPUBLICANS WON!! Of course they did..THEY SPEND ALL THEIR TIME ON THE GOLF COURSE AND NOT DOING THE WORK OF THE PEOPLE!
Rep. John Yarmuth (D-KY) went along with him on the joviality expressing his shock at the wild shorts two of the Republicans wore. I’ll never look at Yarmuth in the same manner.
Well, a single Congressional work day costs the taxpayers $30,275,229. So in the first part of their day, they voted tor 30 million people NOT to have access to healthcare, right after that, they discussed their golf game. I’d be fired.
Dimon- head of Barclays, mitt Robney bundler, is in deep doo doo!
He is still holding fundraiser for Willard in London.
Wonder why Elliot Spitzer and Cenk does not expose Willard on that one? Nevermind!
I saw this yesterday…and posted a link on the last thread that’s a frightening read. If anything good DOES come out of all this…it’s that people are seriously talking about bank regulations being more stringent again. Amen to that.
I can’t believe that this man is being called courageous…just to give a speech?…
He couldn’t even condemn Rush Limbaugh…he doesn’t take positions on anything….ever….
Again…up and down, left is right in their crazy world…..do they hear themselves?
The hypocrisy is maddening.
They are the same ones who have being calling the President unamerican from day 1….but now apparently it’s patriotic to be a tax cheat. The american way.
I can’t stop laughing. I have a headache now. Tucker thinks there’s something wrong with me. Chips, please find the clip. “I booed him for Jesus.” LMAO!! I swear Jesus is dying with laughter, too.
I felt all along that Romney’s appearance before the NAACP was just an opportunity for him to gain sympathy or gain points with his right-wing handlers and their flock of “know nothings.” His responses were calculated to result in boos. However, I think those were not the only reasons behind his appearance. He is trying to deflect attention away from his offshore accounts, his not releasing his tax returns, his history of outsourcing jobs, and all the clandestine dealings that he and Bain are associated with. For people to think he was brave to appear before the NAACP and say what he said is ludicrous. The NAACP is a respectful group. Romney wanted to use this respectful group for his diabolical plan. This man is devoid of decency and can never be trusted. Until Romney, I’ve never seen such a complete and utterly disgusting presidential nominee. He is the bottom of the barrel.
Webster Groves lawyer James Fox deposited a $520.89 rebate check on Monday from his insurance company, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield.
Fox, who is self-employed, called the rebate a secret benefit of health care reform.
“I imagine there will be a bunch of people who change their minds about Obamacare when they get their checks,” Fox said. “I think it will make them feel better that their insurance companies are being held accountable for gouging.”
After Michael Steele slagged the RNC’s “outreach” to African Americans as nothing more than a website “with some black faces on it,” I wanted to see what that website looked like. But we couldn’t find it on the RNC’s site. Turns out there isn’t one yet, even though CNN ran a story on the imminent launch, complete with a mockup, back in April. As Steele would say, God bless them.
In other words, CNN was used to once again spread the Lies and without follow up, without verification, the lies stayed. Who is keeping Them Honest, Anderson Cooper?
Quote of the Day
“Well, I of course respond to the attacks which come. But you know, they say in politics, if you’re responding, you’re losing.”—Mitt Romney, quoted by Politico, defending his campaign’s response to the attacks on his tenure at Bain Capital.
Chgo news is going wild on the Jesse Jackson Jr. disappearance/illness—–it’s a Big Mystery which has intrigued all. (His office should have just been clear in the beginning about the nature of his illness—-stopped all the speculation) Tonight’s news opened with news that he is being treated for alcoholism in a residence treatment center. Then later they had a news release from Jackson’s office saying he is being treated for “a mood disorder”. Still vague and likely will not stop the chattering.
* Some very interesting Senate floor action just now on the Obama tax cut extension plan. A Senate Dem aide emails:
On the floor just now, Senator Reid offered a unanimous consent agreement that would have allowed us to proceed to two Bush tax cut votes right away at a simple majority threshold: a vote on President Obama’s plan to extend middle-class tax cuts on income up to $250,000, and a vote on Senator Hatch’s amendment to extend most of the Bush tax cuts.
Senator McConnell blocked us from voting on both President Obama’s plan and the Republican plan at a simple majority threshold, presumably because he is afraid our bill would pass and his would fail.
McConnell blocked a simple majority vote on both the GOP plan to extend all the Bush tax cuts, and on the Dem plan to extend them just on income up to $250,000?
Either Harry Reid is bluffing, or he’s rounded up 50 Dem Senators to vote for the Obama plan and against the GOP one.
After telling the group how he would insure that people of color never had basic affordable healthcare insurance, ann romney trotted out her thoroughbred therapy horse to show how great healthcare is for the 1%.
Buzzfeed has a pic of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. meeting Michigan First Lady Lenore Romney and a pic of George Romney at the front of a civil rights protest.
Today we have an image of their son, running for President, and smiling at having elicited boos from members of the nation’s oldest civil rights organization.
I know that the trees are the right height in Michigan, so how did Mitt fall so far from them?
and meanwhile, at around the same time, the elder rmoney’s son was out protesting for, yes for the vietnam war and then going off to france to avoid serving. mittbot has 5 strapping young sons and not a single one serves in the wars they promote. pathetic people and that includes george, who was using mlk, jr. as a photo op. the rmoney family is literally who john fogerty was writing about in the song “fortunate son.”
yes, just seeing the 2nd photo above, and that little boy smirk is shades of gw bush all over again, another fortunate son, looking to spread death and misery in order to redistribute more wealth to themselves, since they say they don’t have enough already. i’ll put the lyrics here too (fogerty even addresses the the exact same tax debate republicans/the media are flogging today…crazy):
Songwriters: JOHN C. FOGERTY
Some folks are born to wave the flag,
Ooh, they’re red, white and blue.
And when the band plays “Hail to the chief”,
Ooh, they point the cannon at you, Lord,
It ain’t me, it ain’t me, I ain’t no senator’s son, son.
It ain’t me, it ain’t me; I ain’t no fortunate one, no,
Yeah!
Some folks are born silver spoon in hand,
Lord, don’t they help themselves, oh.
But when the taxman comes to the door,
Lord, the house looks like a rummage sale, yes,
[ Lyrics from: http://www.lyricsfreak.com/c/creedence+clearwater+revival/fortunate+son_20034362.html ]
It ain’t me, it ain’t me, I ain’t no millionaire’s son, no.
It ain’t me, it ain’t me; I ain’t no fortunate one, no.
Some folks inherit star spangled eyes,
Ooh, they send you down to war, Lord,
And when you ask them, “How much should we give?”
Ooh, they only answer More! more! more! yoh,
It ain’t me, it ain’t me, I ain’t no military son, son.
It ain’t me, it ain’t me; I ain’t no fortunate one, one.
It ain’t me, it ain’t me, I ain’t no fortunate one, no no no,
It ain’t me, it ain’t me, I ain’t no fortunate son, no no no,
As we all know, climate scientists dreamed up this whole climate-change business so that they could all get rich enough from those sweet government grants to buy up all the oil companies and turn their headquarters into vegetarian tattoo parlors. Or, as no less a public intellectual than George Effing Will put it over the weekend, it’s summer, so we should get over it.
Here’s the thing, though: Russia is burning down. Again.
Russia is burning down to the extent that the smoke from the wildfires there is causing pretty sunsets in Seattle, but making life difficult for people who live… in British Columbia.
Ken Reid, Metro Vancouver’s superintendent of environmental sampling and monitoring, says the smoke is drifting across the Pacific at several thousand metres before being forced to lower altitudes as it approaches B.C. Meteorologist Eric Taylor, from the B.C. Ministry of Environment, says he has never seen ozone levels as high in B.C.’s central Interior as he has seen the last few days.He says the Environment Ministry’s objective is to keep ozone levels below 82 parts per billion and the level in the Williams Lake areas has reached 84 parts per billion.
It really is time for us to stop being stupid about this. We are all in this together. We accept readily the notion that our military has to be everywhere because we have to stop them there so we don’t have to stop them here. We have been relentlessly propagandized on the benefits of an “interdependent global economy,” where somebody clicks a mouse in Tokyo and a quadrillion quatloos magically appear in Grand Rapids. Yet, on this critical issue, our political system is paralyzed by climate isolationists. Well, there are fires in Siberia that are causing people to wheeze in Vancouver, This ought to be a clue as to where we all went wrong.
The truth is, they want to do nothing to fix anything. Ever.
This is the same thing the GOP and Raygun did when people were dying from AIDS….NOTHING. They are so used to sticking their heads in the sand until it becomes an epidemic or very costly to turn around.
The Last Word with Lawrence O’Donnell (July 10, 2012)

The House Republicans will hold the 31st vote to repeal President Obama’s health care law tomorrow. But the debate was a little different today as Democrats using the time to talk about Mitt Romney and his health care law in Massachusetts.
And Michael Smerkonish worked for what campaign? He help elect who? If the Obama campaign need his advice they will ask for it. The fact that they haven’t ask so far tells you something.
On TPM Mitt Romney: I Have Secret Black Supporters
I had to copy the first comment
I have Black supporters, but, I won’t tell you who they are.
I have an alternate health care plan, but, I won’t tell you what it is.
I have money invested in foreign countries, but, I won’t tell you which ones.
Do I see a pattern here?
…………
I don’t get it
How can you say anything you want but never prove anything?…it’s so weird….
Willard is saying he had “a secret meeting” with black leaders after his speech today who said they couldn’t say in public that they weren’t supporting Obama but they just love them some Willard. Fella on Ed said that his secret mtg. black admirers were those he flew in for the occasion.
Mayor Nutter is calling Willard’s claim about a secret meeting with a fleet of black supporters is the biggest okeydoke he’s ever seen. They were part of some black entourage Willard travels around with to prove he has black friends.
I doubt it too, Jackie. Besides who cares about so called Black leaders who are cowards? How are they going to be able to appeal to Black voters if they are afraid to come out in public and explain their support for Romney?
The people you heard cheering for Mitt Romney at the NAACP meeting Wednesday were not all NAACP members, according to several sources who say Romney bussed in an estimated 200 supporters to the gathering. CNN analyst Roland Martin who was present at the NAACP gathering tweeted he saw an estimated 200 people get off Romney busses including Fla. Lt. Governor Jennifer Carroll.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a presidential candidate lie with such abandon. We see politicians stretch the truth all the time, exaggerate etc. But every single thing Willard says—–every sentence—-is an outright lie.
I’ve never see anyone, period, lie like he does….ever….it’s a medical condition or something,….something is wrong,….even when his lies are debunked…he repeats them again….no shame, nothing,……
I saw that on twitter and Gwen Ifle (?) of PBS replies sarcastically, “Democrats NEVER do that”. So I asked her when have Democrats ever bused in supporters to fill an audience of people that will never support them? I swear, this both sides do it crap is like an addiction with the MSM.
LOL!! It’s sooo true. When I saw her RT’d in my timeline I said to myself,”Where the hell did you come from and who asked you?” She’s one of those people you forget until you see them again.
Ugh!! you want to know what’s really awful? when I read her name, the first image that came to mind was the SNL skit where Queen Latifah played good ol’ Gwennie who thinks she’s too big for her granny panties.
Hilary Shelton who represented the NAACP was the one who told about Romney bringing along his own “posse” as Mayor Nutter called it. These are the “black leaders” he said he met with who are “privately” supporting him. They were also the ones who applauded. The old term for that kind of group is “ringers”……televevangelists use them, carnival barkers use them. singing groups use them…..you get the idea. Shelton also said none of the people he brought were members of the NAACP. Mayor Nutter just came out and called Romney a “fake” Good for him. Mayor Nutter pulled no punches.
There’s another word for those people too……..
This Niger Innis that Mayor Nutter named——as one of the infamous black Mittbots——has been anti-Obama from the get-go—–AND he’s an msnbc contributor. Why am I not surprised. This is the kind of black folk the media loves to have on their payroll. Black and hate Obama? Come on down!!!
carolyn, I couldn’t believe that when I heard that. That lying Mitt Romney, flying in black Republicans who support him, who are not members of the NAACP, and trying to imply that a bunch of black leaders met with him after the speech. Leaders who might support him. Mitt Romney is one lying bastards.
Willard’s campaign brought in their own black repukes who could be heard cheering and with whom he later met after all the bullsh**ing he did before the NAACP crowd. Of course those “black leaders” won’t vote for PBO, they didn’t vote for him in 2008 and they certainly won’t now.
While small businesses have certainly taken a hit following the Bush Great Recession, the evidence shows that American entrepreneurs have been getting pummeled for more than thirty years. According to a new study released today by the New American Foundation, the number of entrepreneurs per capita has dropped by 53% since 1977. And since 1991, the number of Americans who are self-employed has dropped by more than 20%. In other words, Americans who use to be able to start their own businesses are increasingly being forced to join the ranks of the working poor.
That’s because our nation has forgotten how to foster an entrepreneurial class over the last thirty years. With massive tax cuts for the wealthy and for transnational corporations – the rich are getting richer and the big corporations are getting bigger. It doesn’t help that we no longer enforce the Sherman Anti-Trust Act and have jumped head-first into so-called Free Trade either, which has given way to giant transnational corporations that small business upstarts simply can’t compete with. Not only that, we’ve destroyed the social safety net in the country, which used to give Americans a chance to take risks and try new jobs because they had a net of security to fall in if they failed.
Today if they fail, they’re condemned to indefinite poverty – so no one can afford to take risks to start small businesses. This is the consequence of thirty years of Reaganomics – and it’s what Republicans today are doubling-down on.
Then he was talking about the 400 US billionaires that are sucking the life and money out of the people and the economy….holy shit. It’s ugly.
The more I read about this event the sadder it makes me for all the audience members there who were not bused (or rather flown in) by Romney. I feel like he used this black audience to somehow rile up some ku klux clan base. It sickens me really. I feel so bad for that bright eyed boy in the top pic. He needs to be inspired by someone other than Willard. Hopefully that boy is realizing who is actually rooting for him and it is NOT Willard.
Very excited that I got TWO calls from Obama campaign today for canvassing July 28 in Iowa. I told them ABSOLUTELY!! Big group from Chicago headed there! I also see Obama ads on TV here in Chicago – primarily on sports channels. Even though Illinois is a 100% Obama electoral vote, I think it’s important to get his “Chicago base” engaged to get the volunteers excited to work hard for him.
Tell Ms. Ifle to show us were Democrats has spoken before a hostile audience, and then claim they met with members of the hostile audience who claim they would support the Dems. In other word, flat out lie like Mitt Romney did.
Seriously christi. I know politicians lie but I have never come across an inveterate liar like mittbot. In a sane country with a sane media, this thus would have been laughed off the stage and yet here is being given a tongue bath by a corrupt media. Disgusting.
Romney makes used car salesmen look like angels. You are absolutely right, amk! Romney is able to get away with his blatant lies because of our failed media.
They can huff and puff all they want, Obama cares is still the law of the land! Voters should start demanding salary and befit cuts for House and Senate Republicans, and their Democratic lap dogs, because they’ve wasted our tax money on gimmicks instead of addressing the critically needed Jobs Bill.
gobrooklyn, is that how lack of enthusiasm for President Obama looks like? I have friends in Virginia Beach and they are convinced that Obama will win Virginia again.
Body language in these photos is priceless! Have not seen the speech yet. Don’t know if I can…..have a feeling it would be cringeworthy. I’ve decided to make Wednesday my regular extra donation day. I’m usually in a good mood Wednesday evening when more than half the work week is over. This week’s donation is in honour of the well deserved booing.
Reuters reports that, today, a highly controversial law in Mississippi that would have effectively banned abortion in Mississippi was temporarily blocked by a federal judge. Judge Daniel P. Jordan III extended a previous restraining order issued on July 1, the day the law was to have taken effect, in order to study how the law will be implemented.
Supporters of the law claim that they are only interested in the health of the women seeking an abortion by ensuring that the doctors involved are OG/GYNs and have admitting privileges at a local hospital. However, all of the local hospitals are under enormous pressure to not allow those privileges and so far none have.
I don’t know how many here check Mediaite—-it’s a mixed bag, at best. (maybe only Tommy Christopher is sane) But every single day writer Noah Rothman has posted some outrageous anti-Obama garbage. He’s a real piece of work, definitely has “issues”. He is worse than anything at Politico. Today he praised Mitt’s appearance calling it “a powerful appeal to the better angels of African American voters”. Gag.
“I’ll probably go into 500 houses this fall for my business, and I will tell everybody my story—I’m going to tell everyone how gracious he is, how funny he is, how down to earth. He’s like us. He may live in the White House, but he doesn’t live in a bubble. He knows what’s happening out here, and he cares. It just warms my heart. I think I’m going to turn some people around, because I don’t give up. I’m very persistent. I’ll work all day, I go all over the place, so I’m going to spread the word and do the best I can.”
I read on that tweet that 2k people were still in line to get tickets to see PBO Friday, but the polls says that Robney and PBO are even. Yeah, and I have a bridge to sell ya. I don’t believe those polls for one minjute. 🙂
Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood said Wednesday that the Obama administration’s high-speed rail proposals have gotten off to a “good start” despite rejections by several Republican state officials.
Speaking at the start of the World Congress on High-Speed Rail in Philadelphia, LaHood said the rejection of rail money by GOP governors in states like Florida, Wisconsin and Ohio was offset by a recent approval in California.
“We’re off to a great start, but we still have a long way to go,” he said during a news conference. “We hope our friends in Congress take their cues from California.”
how stupid do these rightwingers think we are as a people??? we have seen this crap before and it is not suprising how muxh the gop demeans our intelligence – remember how they bribed keyes to become a resident of IL so he can run against PBO
That woman from PBS Gwenn something who said that both sides do it is lying.
There’s a big difference lets say if it’s a rally and group of supporters attend the event……union workers, or nurses or whatever groups, there’s nothing hidden, it’s a rally in support of the President.
So if I get her point…..I’m trying to make the comparaison.
It would be like President Obama would give a speech to the NRA , NOT that I’m comparing that awful organization to the NAACP but I can’t think of another exemple….so the President would give a speech and the campaign would bus in a few hundred supporters PRETENDING to be members of the NRA..
This is the difference….that’s where she is wrong…
When people heard cheering, they didn’t know it was his supporters….
ChristiMTL, what is really laughable is that this Romney Surrogate probably doesn’t know what socialism means. Does he think George Romney, Mitt’s father, was a socialist because he released 12 years of his Tax Returns when he ran for President?
Melinda Gates pledges $560 million for contraception. Gates, who is Catholic, has come under criticism from Catholic groups for the initiative. As girls are dying daily.
@BarackObama Voter registration, is what should be on your mind 2 fight the Rethugs legal maneuvering 2 BLOCK OUR VOTE http://t.co/d6HY8yDG— Mrs. Kelly Jacobs (@OBAMA4ME2) July 12, 2012
I love Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Sen. Barbara Boxer, two Californian members of Congress who are not afraid to tell like it is. And they both have the President’s back.
Romney tonight at a fundraising event responded to booing;
“Remind them of this, if they want more stuff from Government tell them to go vote for the other guy-more free stuff. But don’t forget nothing is really free.”
So this was all staged! The people at NAACP thought they were inviting a real Presidential candidate with integrity. They never realized that Willard was only interested in antagonizing them so that he would be able to use their reactions to increase his white conservative support. This was all staged including the flying in of blacks who were ready to clap and give him a standing ovation. Willard “Mitt” Romney is a truly disgusting man. We must do everything we can to stop him from being elected President.
That Mitt Romney is a POS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I will definitely be working VERY hard for the reelection of this President. People like Mitt Romney should NEVER represent anyone other than his selfish self and his family!
Romney tonight at a fundraising event responded to booing;
“Remind them of this, if they want more stuff from Government tell them to go vote for the other guy-more free stuff. But don’t forget nothing is really free.”
look down thread. he basically said that if the people at the NAACP want more free stuff, they should vote “for the other guy.” You know, all that free stuff that all the black welfare queens always squeeze outta the government, cause we’re so damned lazy and greedy.
apparently, at fundraiser, Willard told his rich white friends, in reference to the booing at NAACP: “if they want more free stuff from government, they should vote for the other guy.” {{SMH}} Willard, WIllard, Willard. That’s why people don’t like you regardless of their race, color, creed, religion or sexual orientation. Fucker.
Remind “them”??? He’s so offensive, so condescending, so patronizing. Now I know why BWD wants him to get defeated….this should rally lots of people toward the President.
This whole Willard Goes to the NAACP stunt just seems surreal to me. It’s like the worst mad scientist cooked up the worst candidate imaginable in a lab and then the worst political minds put together the worst campaign in history. It’s beyond me even getting worked up over. It’s just total ridiculousness that it’s reaching parody levels. Every day it’s crazier and crazier.
UT we can’t be satisfied with being mad, let us get people register, in those states were a Voter ID is required let’s help people get those IDs and Nov. 6th show up and vote.
Aah, Bet you’re right, meta. It MAY be get a couple of lines tomorrow and that will be it. This S— is the last thing I needed today. Usual Wednesday trip to see my mom. Difficult visit………she was not good today. Have some hospice issues to deal with tomorrow……just a bunch of things. This comment tonight from Romney hit my last nerve today.
You know meta, personally I’ve come to terms with this reality: The media hates President Obama. No matter how disgraceful Mitt Romney is they will never go after him the way they go after the President based on lies or minor misspeaks. In other words, I regard the vast majority of the National media, with minor exceptions, as the enemy. The vast majority of them want to see President Obama defeated. If I am wrong, I wish somebody would show me evidence that challenges my conclusion.
Yep and Goldie Taylor was on Last Word and is livid at the remark as every thinking person should be. Mitt just said that black folks don’t work and just want free stuff. Black folks should have shown up outside strapped just like the baggers did when President Obama spoke.
I cannot believe Mitt gets points for “showing up”. Used to be the big thing in school (long time ago) – the report card had a column for “attendance” – let someone get an A who was never going to be an A student. Mitt is supposedly a grownup – does he really deserve an A for “showing up” – they can’t even give Mitt points for “Tries hard” – because he doesn’t. The speech was an insult to those who were polite enough to attend.
Does the US need a President who “shows up” – He would LIVE on the premises – doesn’t even need to catch a bus (well a chauffeur driven ride).
Actually, the only people who “attempted” to give Willard points for showing up were those disingenuous pundits on MSNBainCapital and some gullible Blacks who wanted to be relevant.
The other 99% of viewers gave Mitt a big fat ZERO.
I resent the implication being peddled by the media that somehow the NAACP convention is some enemy camp. Republican presidential candidates have spoken to the NAACP conventions before. So what makes Mitt Romney more courageous than other Republican presidential candidates who addressed the NAACP conventions in the past? Frankly, I am just so sick of the manipulative U.S. media. There is no doubt in mind that the vast majority of the national media are rooting for Romney to become President.
ChisitiMTL, her response is another proof that the so called journalists are utterly useless. I think it has to do with their comfort in belonging in the 1-2% class. They expect to dictate to us peons what to think. They just can’t deal with thoughtful people who challenge their shallow reporting that are not based on facts. In any case, thanks for letting Gwen Ifill know that not all of us commoners are idiots who would accept the BS peddled by the so called journalists.
According to the 2010 U.S. Census (.pdf, p.24), there are 8.1 million blacks in this country who have no health insurance. That’s 20.8% of the black population, or slightly more than one out of every five American blacks. The first black president signed a law to change that situation dramatically. That’s because the law required states to put people on Medicaid up to the 133% poverty rate level and then offered a sliding scale of subsidies for anyone else who might struggle to afford health insurance. The bill also created high-risk pools for people with preexisting conditions, including diabetes, hypertension, and sickle-cell anemia. These reforms have the potential to almost completely wipe out the medical crisis in the black community.
But that’s not the only reason that Mitt Romney was lustily booed today at the NAACP when he promised to eliminate the Affordable Care Act. He chose to use the word “ObamaCare” to refer to the bill. In my experience, blacks are extremely sensitive about people showing the proper respect for the Office of the Presidency now that it is occupied by a black man. They don’t like it when people fail to refer to him as “President” or “Mr. President.” And they don’t like to see his name used is a derisive and demeaning way. Mitt Romney was booed primarily because of this lack of respect, which the audience experienced as a lack of respect for them.
To make matters worse, Romney then traveled to Montana for a private fundraiser tonight and, when asked about his experience at the NAACP, he said that “they (meaning blacks) need to be reminded if they want more free stuff from the government tell them to vote for the other guy. But don’t forget nothing is really free.”
I think that’s all the proof we need to know that the NAACP audience had interpreted Romney correctly and their voiced displeasure was entirely justified. Clearly, Romney thought he was booed because the people in the audience want free health insurance for themselves and don’t think anyone has to ultimately pay for it. First of all, most of the people who attend NAACP meetings are fairly well-to-do, relatively speaking, and the percentage of uninsured in the audience was probably quite low. Second, as already mentioned, the Affordable Care Act does a lot more than simply provide Medicaid and subsidies. It helps grandpa get dialysis without having to sell his house to pay for it. It helps grandma get blood pressure medication. It helps cousin get lifetime treatment for his anemia. It helps uncle see a doctor to try to keep that cancer in remission. It helps brother stay on parents’ health care plan until he’s through with graduate school.
romney the ratf**ker is a sociopathic prick and he’s the one who showed his arrogant stupid head at the NAACP. I’m glad they booed..fucking pathological LIAR.
Can you imagine what President Obama thought of that shite?! Can you imagine how mitt the prick is going to treat our President when they get on stage together? i can’t wait to see how PBO drinks his milkshake and asks if he’s mad! lol
Was it Dr. Dyson who said why should we give Mitt Romney credit for showing up. I agree, he doesn’t deserve a ounce of credit. Blacks are Americans, here this man want to be President of the U.S. he should show up and speak to all Americans. So dam right he doesn’t deserve any credit for going to speak at the NAACP. By the way will VP Biden be speaking there tomorrow?
Exactly! He just showed to insult the intelligence of the people listening to him so that he may able to use that to solicit more money and votes from people who think all Black people depend on”free stuff from the government” because they are lazy. I am so glad the people at true NAACP booed him. No one should be allowed to insult Black people in their face while pretending to be caring about them. Unlike Romney who has had it easy throughout his life, the people at that NAACP convention have struggled hard to get where they are. They didn’t deserve to sit there quietly and listen to a spoiled lying politician, with absolutely no moral core, patronizing them.
goodafternoon Chips!
Greetings Allison!
Romney admits he staged this stunt. He knew he would be booed. http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/OTUS/romney-says-he-expected-to-be-booed-at-naacp/story?id=16753886
He has already been on FOX bragging about it.
Just like his wife, Ann in April and the comments by Hilary Rosen.
These people think we are stupid. They believe in their bat poop crappy hateful stunts. This is a 65 yrs old man. And he is saying that this was what he wanted? He paused to get the full effect of the boos.
This is an ordained bishop? How disgraceful?
It’s like someone who trips, then says, “I meant to do that.”
Completely incapable of taking responsibility for any personal mistakes.
Exactly, Tally. Making lemonade out of lemons. Mitt bombed because he had nothing to offer and doesn’t understand that this venue was a mistake.
I’m puzzled as to why they would even sit through that shit!
Great question. The response to Willard should be laughter not booing.
Whew!
Veryslowwriter, you have spoken the truth and on point. Thank you.HZ
being polite to the person who was invited to speak.
Yes, they were being polite to an invited speaker. Their mothers taught them well. Their good manners showed. Romney does not have good manners. He well demonstrated that by the way he talked about the ACA and President Obama.
Yo’ y’all!
Yo Pamela. Congrats Allison!
That’s it..the 3rd pic down! Those women are being Polite but you can tell! As I wrote on the last thread.. Bless all their hearts for enduring the fucking sociopath.
That picture is a HOOT!!!
You can bet he wasn’t invited to the after-party.
LOL
Right on, Cha
Repeating a question Jojo asked me: “What was that veiled THREAT, “I won’t forget the hospitality you showed me” right after he was booed?”
Did he say that? If he did, we need to make that clip go viral. Lord knows I can’t stand watching him speak.
Romney. HZ
Simple truths ….
And so, my good people, Myth once again successfully proves, without a shadow of doubt, what a complete and utter phoney he is to the core. Done.
IN_DEED, Pamela, IN_DEED ….
#ADollarADayToOFA …. It’s the 99% Way #FORWARD
That was creepy. Better for him to have stayed home than go and insult people’s intelligence and patronize this very powerful and sensitive community. What an Ass!
Or as Jason Easley writes..
Instead, the headline is Awkward Mitt Romney Booed at NAACP Convention.”
http://www.politicususa.com/mitt-romney-naacp-african-american-photo-op-results-total-disaster.html
That pic with the lady who has her hand under her chin is my favorite one. Chips you should have a caption contest.
Well, one could imagine a bubble over the heads of the two women along the lines of ‘I can’t wait for trans-penile ultrasound to be mandatory for any man wanting a Viagra (or other brand) prescription’ 🙂
Yuh …
lololololol
I also like the one with the lady with short hair and glasses. She looks like she’s thinking, Really?
Maybe this visit did more for the re election of PBO than we know 🙂
I think it did. He provided a great incentive for AAs to GOTV.
I feel a distinct urge to donate coming over me… To OFA I go! 😆 Let’s show Myth what a great fundraiser he is!
Fabulous idea Pamela dear! I’m right behind ya!
I’ll send it to your page, Dudette, just need to go get the link!
DUDETTE! I can’t find the Money Bomb thread with the links… Can you post yours pretty please?
When I see that big hand behind MItt, I think of him writing crib notes just like SP did….
If this happens, do this. If this happens, do that.
I like the picture of Mitt with the giant hand behind him – like it’s going to push him right off the stage into his adoring (?) fans (?) or maybe grab him by the head and squeeze. Sorry, it’s been a long day!
Or it could effectively smack him upside his ugly head…
As the Rightwing crazies talk about how “Brave” Myth was to speak at the NAACP. Why does he need to be “brave” (ha!) to talk to his fellow Americans?
Hmmmm? I wonder why they talk about it in those terms?
exactly isonprize. So everytime POTUS speaks to the American people- he too is BRAVE? What utter absolute BS- this is why I despise the media.
Good question, friend. Thought I’d ask an expert or few ….
🙂
Zero pushback just now on Hardball against Congressman Scalice…….I think Scalice told 50 lies in 5 minutes.
Michael is horrible.
he is. he showed a PPP poll and said something like: keep in mind, this poll tends to lead towards Dems. It made me wonder aloud, does he say Gallup and Rasmussen tend to lean Repug? 🙄 that guy needs to go. Much as I can’t stand Tweety, he needs to either come back or find a better seat filler.
I just blasted off an e-mail to MSNBC about him……
I just saw Michael S. replacement for Chris Matthews letting the LA Congressman completely lie about everything in ACA. He made a feeble attempt to try to get him to explain how they would insure the people who would lose out if the law was repealed.
I use to think Smerconish was fair but this week he has been a disaster sitting in for Tweety.
2 of such. Maybe. Michael Steel and Cornell West. Zip
Condi Rice and Allen West…..that’s four.
Herman Cain…that’s five.
It pleases me to see the audience looking like they are at a funeral rather than at a presidential candidate’s speech. I do not think PBO has ever had any audience look like this ever while he speaks and connects. Willard is going down the drain.
another h/t to Nena
Look at the diff in people in Obama’s presence—–anywhere and everywhere—–not just at his events but at all spontaneous appearances.
You are making my day even better.
I appreciate you and your help.
Thank you, very much.
No Nena, thank YOU for the inspiration! It helped me practice my tweeting today since I’m still a newbie at this. 🙂
Dude sitting in Tweety’s chair said PBO isn’t doing a good job of communicating his record of tax cutter in chief which is why repugs can assail him as tax hiker in chief. Mute!!!!
I just went to his website to try to find and e-mail address and there is a Romney ad on it.
I recommend installing Ad Block Plus on all your browsers. Ads? Gone!
…..and look, NO TELEPROMPTER.
Thank you for the context; perhaps this will deliver the message …
Others will be similarly informed 🙂
Forgot this one, per your original note …
“It’s a bet that, so far, he’s losing.”
As evidenced by swing state polls that have been holding month after month in President Obama’s favor.
Egg-sack-lee, as amk would say. Bless his heart.
LL, I agree, even with all of our problems we are better than that.
The indies will look at his speech and just shake their heads.
From your keyboard, to those friggin’ indies’ ears.
I still have faith in my people. I have to, otherwise we may as well just pack it in.
Wow I wouldn’t count on their vote!
The expressions are funny. And seriously….who says “End Of Quote” I have never seen someone try so hard to be and act human. If he wasn’t running for the highest office in the land, it’d be freaking hilarious.
Well, if you read my TL, we’re thinking that he read it off of the teleprompter. Either way, it’s hilarious.
He really said “End of quote?” Who does that? He read from a teleprompter perhaps. What a dizzy fool.
The 3rd photo from the top is priceless. Those ladies’ expressions say so much.
Yeah…I can almost hear what they’re thinking 🙂 Not good….
I said he should be ashamed of himself….and that I wanted a reply…after I get that reply, I WILL CALL his office…because they always send all the RW talking points back to me….and this is when the kids in the office get the Full Monty from me…
I would LOVE it someone Tweeted this to Quayle 🙂
http://thepoliticalcarnival.net/2012/07/11/video-photoh-what-the-gop-did-today/
@benquayle
🙂 Oh yes!
Ha! We posted at the same time! LOL.
Great minds!
Awesome. Brilliant.
Meh..sociopaths tryin’ to mess with THE COMMUNITY OR-GAN-I-ZER!
Crossroads plans to spend 70 million in Senate races.
Me thinks, that is a waste, unless it is in a leaning red or red State!
John King got His Map out, showing exactly, precisely where Willard will Eat into Obamas Base. He has a magnifying Galss, and gets right into Somebody’s living Room!
LOL!
Tell John King I said that he, his silly map and magnifying glass can all go to HELL!
He spent all of ’08 with his map showing where Obama couldn’t possibly win because of White People! Boy, was he surprised on election night!
Why are these bums being paid six figure salaries? They are a disgrace.
$174,000/yr. your tax money…flushed
Though he is going to opt-out of Medicaid Rick Perry spent $25 million to renovate the Texas governor’s mansion.
And…..rented one for 10k a month for the last 5 years on the taxpayer dime……
I hope the next Governor is a Democrat…..that will make their heads explode.
I love Rev. Al but he does have some creative, amusing pronunciations. He just called berets (French caps) “berettes”.
He called John Larson (CT) John Carson yesterday….I think he needs to be better at this. I love him, but he does this sort of thing too often.
I know. But that’s what I like about him ’cause I do the same. Mix up names, mispronounce words, thats me.
McCain went to the 08 NAACP convention, same media hyperventilating!
I. CANNOT. STOP. LAUGHING…
I am laughing so hard. I have to stop and catch my breath. Chips have to do a caption contest. Jesus was booing too.
Miss Pat, i laughed for a couple hours – seriously. And every time I think about it, I chuckle. I can just imagine her saying it. LOL.
Here is a graphic explaining the LIBOR Scandal…
http://www.accountingdegree.net/numbers/libor.php
Like being a war mongering draft dodger.
It’s just unbelievable.
I can’t stop laughing. I have a headache now. Tucker thinks there’s something wrong with me. Chips, please find the clip. “I booed him for Jesus.” LMAO!! I swear Jesus is dying with laughter, too.
ROFLMAO 😆 😆 😆
Right F**KING ON@!!!
Lieberman to oppose the President tax plan.
Good old Lieberman!
Predictable
Hit the road, Joe. Worst Senator from CT ever.
NBC’s Andrea Mitchell says Jesse Jackson Jr. at rehab facility in Arizona. Of Mitchell’s report, Sandi Jackson says: “No, no, no”
Reminder: Offshore tax havens cost U.S. government $100 billion every year
I felt all along that Romney’s appearance before the NAACP was just an opportunity for him to gain sympathy or gain points with his right-wing handlers and their flock of “know nothings.” His responses were calculated to result in boos.
Yep, they only fool their crazy base.
Nice! http://www.stltoday.com/news/national/rebates-are-one-part-of-health-care-law-that-are/article_38d7c66e-7814-5561-87ff-f0dddaaa06a3.html#ixzz20LZr4Yzj

Pretty much covers it, Nena!
Um, I don’t think Romney got this quote right?
http://politicalwire.com/archives/2012/07/11/quote_of_the_day.html
LOL!!! Has this guy been locked up in a cave somewhere? No one says that.
Happy Hour Roundup

Martin Luther King, Jr. meeting Michigan First Lady Lenore Romney and a pic of George Romney at the front of a civil rights protest.
http://www.buzzfeed.com/andrewkaczynski/romney-parents-and-martin-luther-king
Today we have an image of their son, running for President, and smiling at having elicited boos from members of the nation’s oldest civil rights organization.
I know that the trees are the right height in Michigan, so how did Mitt fall so far from them?
His parents, likely, would have been chagrined today … and for the past few years …
and meanwhile, at around the same time, the elder rmoney’s son was out protesting for, yes for the vietnam war and then going off to france to avoid serving. mittbot has 5 strapping young sons and not a single one serves in the wars they promote. pathetic people and that includes george, who was using mlk, jr. as a photo op. the rmoney family is literally who john fogerty was writing about in the song “fortunate son.”
Perfection, 4more! That is truly the song for the #ChickenHawk Mitt clan.
yes, just seeing the 2nd photo above, and that little boy smirk is shades of gw bush all over again, another fortunate son, looking to spread death and misery in order to redistribute more wealth to themselves, since they say they don’t have enough already. i’ll put the lyrics here too (fogerty even addresses the the exact same tax debate republicans/the media are flogging today…crazy):
It ain’t me, it ain’t me, I ain’t no fortunate one, no no no,
It ain’t me, it ain’t me, I ain’t no fortunate son, no no no,
🙂 This sure does bring me back…..
George WIll says: “It’s summer! STFU about the global warming!
http://www.esquire.com/blogs/politics/siberian-fire-effects-10555308
HOUSE DEMOCRATS FOCUS ON “ROMNEYCARE”
The Last Word with Lawrence O’Donnell (July 10, 2012)
————————————————
The House Republicans will hold the 31st vote to repeal President Obama’s health care law tomorrow. But the debate was a little different today as Democrats using the time to talk about Mitt Romney and his health care law in Massachusetts.

Jesse Jackson Jr. is being treated for “mood disorder” according to MSNBC.
Probably depression.
most likely.
So Michael Smerkonish (sp) is going to have a segment on how PBO needs to improve on his messaging..blah..blah..blah…
Here’s my response to that:
*CLICK*
He seemed very offended by this …..
these repugs are so disgusting. they never hesitate to stack the decks in their favor, to lie, to steal or to cheat. Unbelievable. {{SMDH}}
he called them a posse…that he kept in his back pocket
And we know that every time Romney opens his mouth, he is lying. I doubt that there was a secret meeting.
Wow, I just heard that from the NAACP guy on Ed’s show. Romney cannot help himself. He is a pathological liar and lies for sport.
I heard that!
Gwen Ifle is a nonentity. She speaks for no one and no one wants to hear her speak.
HA! Yeah, I remember that skit.
Let’s ask Gwen Ifle to prove her point. Show us some proof.
Remember that one black lady you use to always see at Romney events. Someone he paid and flew around with him.
Willard’s campaign brought in their own black repukes who could be heard cheering and with whom he later met after all the bullsh**ing he did before the NAACP crowd. Of course those “black leaders” won’t vote for PBO, they didn’t vote for him in 2008 and they certainly won’t now.
lisa, that man Mitt Romney is one phony lying no good bastard. The Republicans deserve him. But our country does not.
Ran some errands and was listening in the car. Frightfully scary.
http://www.thomhartmann.com/blog/2012/07/america%E2%80%99s-entrepreneurial-class-dying
I didn’t realize Willard’s black BFF was a tea party leader. This is Niger Innis in action—–unbelievable.
creep.
double creep!!!!
triple creep!!!
triple creep!
His mother named him right…..who knew.

ChristiMTL….. 🙂 good one
I sent a tweet to Gwen whatshername from PBS….prove it!
If as she says, both sides do the same thing….she has to prove it…
It’s a lie
Make sure you let me know when Gwen Ifle send you her proof.
Don’t hold your breath mon amie….not expecting anything!…
Tell Ms. Ifle to show us were Democrats has spoken before a hostile audience, and then claim they met with members of the hostile audience who claim they would support the Dems. In other word, flat out lie like Mitt Romney did.
A sick, manipulative bastard. This insincere congenital lying mofo now replace darth as the most evil man.
You have a way with words amk…..haha……insincere congenital lying mofo, it’s catchy!
Seriously….wow……not one word out of his mouth is not a lie.
Seriously christi. I know politicians lie but I have never come across an inveterate liar like mittbot. In a sane country with a sane media, this thus would have been laughed off the stage and yet here is being given a tongue bath by a corrupt media. Disgusting.
Corporations owning all the media…..it’s so disturbing………
Romney makes used car salesmen look like angels. You are absolutely right, amk! Romney is able to get away with his blatant lies because of our failed media.

gobrooklyn, is that how lack of enthusiasm for President Obama looks like? I have friends in Virginia Beach and they are convinced that Obama will win Virginia again.
He better.
Excellent idea. Let’s fundraise against the mittbot’s cynical and manipulative attempt today appeal to his racist base.
Gag.
Of Course! Yeah, Sociopathicmitt was real fucking “brave”.
Remember the recent contest for donors to join PBO on his bus tour? Well, here’s a cool story on the winners:
http://www.barackobama.com/news/entry/betting-on-america-jeff-gets-on-board?
An excerpt:
“I’ll probably go into 500 houses this fall for my business, and I will tell everybody my story—I’m going to tell everyone how gracious he is, how funny he is, how down to earth. He’s like us. He may live in the White House, but he doesn’t live in a bubble. He knows what’s happening out here, and he cares. It just warms my heart. I think I’m going to turn some people around, because I don’t give up. I’m very persistent. I’ll work all day, I go all over the place, so I’m going to spread the word and do the best I can.”
THX META!
You’re welcome! It’s such an uplifting, sweet story. The chose the perfect person to win the contest!
Thanks meta for sharing this heartwarming story. I’ve never met the President but I feel the same way about him as Jeff does.
PBO calls out Romney on Taxes in new Ad:

Romney tonight at a fundraising event responded to booing;
“Remind them of this, if they want more stuff from Government tell them to go vote for the other guy-more free stuff. But don’t forget nothing is really free.”
Reported by Pool report!!!!
OH! THAT”S WHAT HE SAID??????????????????? GAME ON, BABY!
is this getting any play in the twitterverse?!!! this should be breaking news and splashed all over the tv tomorrow!
Romney made a statement on the booing today per RM…I was on the phone with my daughter…I missed it! What did the little SOB say?

Romney tonight at a fundraising event responded to booing;
WOW…Romney didn’t waste any time, no time at all. What a rotten scoundrel.
apparently, at fundraiser, Willard told his rich white friends, in reference to the booing at NAACP: “if they want more free stuff from government, they should vote for the other guy.” {{SMH}} Willard, WIllard, Willard. That’s why people don’t like you regardless of their race, color, creed, religion or sexual orientation. Fucker.
He is a sick fuck. Pahdon my fucking french.
Now you know why I was disappointed with NAACP inviting him. I have read the justifications here and still not buying it.
If you are not on twitter, it’s time to get on. TWIT THE SHIT OUTTA THIS BULLSHIT Romney said tonight…make the MSM cover this shit!
I just can’t! 👿
Really, there are no words.
Biggest FREELOADER THERE IS!
Bravo, Bravo, amk!
Mitt Romney is a bloody racist scumbag. After his address at the NAACP, he went to his lily-white Montana fundraiser and said this:
I believe Romney is a racists, the Mormon history with black people isn’t a good history.
And I believe Mitt and Ann Romney still supports the racists demeaning beliefs taught by the Mormon church.
is this getting any traction on twitter?
Yes. People are mad.
Good. They should be
UT we can’t be satisfied with being mad, let us get people register, in those states were a Voter ID is required let’s help people get those IDs and Nov. 6th show up and vote.
I’m sure the press won’t touch it. Remember when POTUS said that “cling to guns and bible” remark at a fundraiser? Continuous loop for days.
Only f**king willard and the kocheads get free stuff…everyone else pays for them.
Goldie Taylor referenced that comment on @Lawrence and said, “We know what is in MittRomney’s heart.”
And Mitt Romney’s racist tendencies keep pouring forth.
The other 99% of viewers gave Mitt a big fat ZERO.
thissssssssssssss
I resent the implication being peddled by the media that somehow the NAACP convention is some enemy camp. Republican presidential candidates have spoken to the NAACP conventions before. So what makes Mitt Romney more courageous than other Republican presidential candidates who addressed the NAACP conventions in the past? Frankly, I am just so sick of the manipulative U.S. media. There is no doubt in mind that the vast majority of the national media are rooting for Romney to become President.
I think the NAACP gets Big POINTS for Enduring that Monster RF from the Sewer.

So the proof from Gwen Ifle is this, she has no proof that both side does it. So she should have kept her lying mouth closed.
Never thought I would say this, but I’m disliking Willard more than John McCain and his Pit bull from Wasilla.
Hopefruit2, you are not alone. Romney, in my opinion, is more disgusting and more dangerous than John McCain.

It’s the Lack of Respect
by BooMan
Wed Jul 11th, 2012 at 10:40:11 PM EST
