I’m sure most of you have read it by now, but for anyone who didn’t – don’t miss:

Washington Post

****

Charles Pierce: This vast new Washington Post report about how Willard Romney and his money-chewing friends got really wealthy by investing in companies dedicated to shipping American jobs overseas is yet one more reason why the Obama campaign really shouldn’t have slacked off from tearing into Romney’s career at Bain Capital just because Cory Booker, and Ed Rendell, and Bill Clinton got nervous about it. It also should set off another spate of really remarkable lying from the Republican candidate over the next few days…..

…. Willard Romney: friend of the working man. In Shanghai.

Of course, the Post felt itself obligated to include the now-mandatory non sequitur disclaimer about the magic of the global economy……. American business stopped caring about the political entity that is the United States of America a very long time ago … Now, we have a presidential candidate who is a perfect product of that new transnational economic system. Willard Romney could be — hell, should be — the vehicle through whom we pass judgment on all of it.

Looking forward to a great speech in Florida and still overcome with anxiety re: ACA. I am trying not to give in to negative spin about health care going down that the airwaves are inundated with.
    Good weekend to all!

Vicki, don’t watch the airwave. Take a break, and stay focus on the big picture, which is winning November 6th. We know exactly how the media is.

I want to stare at this graph all day long! If AZ comes through for PBO, I promise you, I will go outside and dance in the streets! And sing!

    • June 22, 2012 at 1:09 pm

When I see numbers like this, I don’t see how democrats or obama loses in November. Please tell how Obama loses in November? I still get pessimistic when I see the lopsided money that is being raised by the Koch Bros, Karl Rove, etc, but it doesn’t matter how many attack ads they put on tv, if romney can’t get to 40% of the latino vote, HE WILL NOT WIN THE WHITE HOUSE. PERIOD! I hope obama and his team are smart about this. Those democrats running in districts with high concentrate of hispanics/latinos who is trying to unseat a gop member need to HAMMER HOME 24-7, IF YOU WANT IMMIGRATION REFORM, IF YOU WANT THE DREAM ACT, VOTE THESE TEABAG GOP ASSHOLES OUT!!! That should be their campaign slogan everyday. VOTE OUT THE GOP and VOTE DEMOCRATS to get IMMIAGRATION REFORM PASSED INTO LAW!!

Karen Finney mentioned that on MSNBC.
Maybe when we get stuff on Robney, we should immediately tweet it to Her.
I have noticed as a Consultant/ Strategist/contributor MSNBC gives you freedom of Speech.
The moment you get your own Show, and only if you are considered Liberal, the Person changes.
Karen Finney is on MSNBC all Day long and dies a great Job, She is Free to say whatever and it is great!

I am thinking the corporate heads of the media have rules or instructions for the commentators that we don’t see. It might be like the jurists being instructed by the judges before making decisions. We do not always realize why certain decisions are made whereas I know as a juror sometimes your hands are tied by rules.

Chips…could you pull the pic from the Washington Post article about Bain moving jobs over seas that shows the little one Robney is holding. It looks like she turned away from Miitens and is reaching for her mom…”save me from this creepy guy”.
In contrast to our president. Children have a sixth sense, they can sense good and evil.

http://truth-out.org/index.php?option=com_k2&view=item&id=24:bill-moyers-facts-still-matter- With Rebublican’s war on science and fact, we’re in deep trouble as a nation. We have far too many people watching and listening to the right-wing echo chamber. And believing what they hear.

This woman is awful. I read her book – I borrowed it from the library and I understand why Mrs O was so upset. It was spiteful – the worst thing was a chapter devoted to JK’s delusional theories that the Pres and Mrs O use their children to advance politically. It was truly ugly and anyone who says that book was flattering to FLOTUS is either lying or hasn’t bothered to read the book (yes, that’s you Jon Stewart). I doubt she’ll ever get an interview again from them as long as she lives. After reading that book I just think she is absolutely horrible and unethical. Plus she doesn’t write very well at all.

This link says that PBO is speaking at 1:25 *********************************************

  20. June 22, 2012 at 1:15 pm

Will MSNBC trot out Jonathan Alter to pan both PBO’s speeches? Will CNN bring out panelists who will only focus on “tone” and nothing else, as they did for Willard’s address to NALEO yesterday?

  21. June 22, 2012 at 1:19 pm

“It was a whirlwind,” says Paula, a retired GM autoworker and recent guest at Dinner with Barack, “and it started right from the time I found out I had won. There was this constant sense of being on the brink of something important. That same energy followed me right up until I was sitting in the restaurant with the other winners—it just kept gaining momentum. We were all trying to chat with each other, to do anything we could to give each other some sense of calm—but there was this happy anticipation running under everything.
