Looking on Fox News website just now to see how they’re reporting the Ricketts super PAC story (they’re not, at least on the front page) and I found instead: “FOX NEWS POLL : Obama opens lead on Romney”. I try not to get too caught up in polls at this point, but that was fun to see on that site.

Richard Wolffe and David Corn are fired up on Alex Wagner’s show about the GOP Super PAC crap. Gotta tweet ’em both huge encouragement today. They are sick of it, and raising their voices! And that awful S.E. Cupp in all her creepiness had to sit there and listen. Yep. This could get a lot of people fired up, and so I’m thinking it’s a big win for our campaign.

The more awful they get, the more angry we get, the more we work on GOTV. Sounds like a plan, because we really need to use our anger productively to get the job done. Our Joe Biden is showing us how, out on the trail.

Exactly. If the last 3 years don’t get the left and the dems and the moderates move their collective asses to the voting booths (being dead is the only excuse allowed that too only after you show your dead body), then they all deserve what’s coming to them.

So the Romney campaign said that they disavowed using Rev. Wright, but had to say that PBO was engaging in character assassination against poor widdle Mittens. Ed Schultz just read a quote from February from Romney where he said he thought PBO was listening to Rev. Wright when he “said” that he wanted the United States to be a “less Christian nation.”

        The mind boggles.

Bummer, sorry I missed that. I hope I can see a rebroadcast. I just feel like taking a shower after hearing about this Super Pac rehash of Reverend Wight. The GOP culture of viciousness never ends. What I want to know is where are the sane Republicans? Why aren’t they speaking out against this nonsense. Their silence is very disturbing. Except for the Tea Party crowd, who in the Republican Party is proud of what their party looks like today? The party has become unhinged and deranged.

Thomas Roberts on MSNBC was chastising the Republican hack he had on his show earlier, for the lack of Republicans’ speaking out against this current GOP awfulness. The hack said he was speaking out and the others on the panel were speaking out yada yada yada. So Thomas reminded him that nobody on the panel was a Republican leader, a Republican elected official, or dorkboy who is running to beat (and I break for a laugh here) PBO. Thomas wasn’t buying the bull!

Thanks JO. It’s good to hear there is some push back from the hosts of these shows. I did catch the segment with Alex Wagner where she was saying that BOTH SIDES have issues with the press. Please. I wanted to throw a shoe at the tv.

Mitt Romney has a problem with the press because he is so scripted he can’t answer questions off the cuff. He is gaffe prone. He just doesn’t want to be bothered answering questions unless he is in control. President Obama on the other hand would just like for the mainstream media to focus on reporting the facts instead of trying to compete with TMZ.

        This makes me even sadder:

// From TMZ: Donna died from lung cancer. Several sources are telling us Donna believed she contracted it by inhaling toxic particles after the 9/11 attack in New York City //

If her beliefs are accurate, then it’s another piece of evidence that Osama Bin laden destroyed more lives than just those directly involved in the explosions…..

These are painful reasons that hurt me so much when I recall how “W” got on that bullhorn and said, “The people who did this, we will come after you and get you.” Then he was later heard telling Norah O’Donnell in the Press Room that he does not spend much time thinking about Bin Laden , or think of him, or I donot know where he is. blah, blan, and all of that crap in his lying heart. That makes me angry and brings tears to my eyes when I think of him saying that because I think of all of the lives that were lost that day, and children who will never see their mother or father ever again. It just makes me sick.

Then POB makes it a top priority and never gave up, and get shit on. That makes me sick when they do this crap on POB when we see him in that Situation Room with that look of so much concern for not only our Special Forces and their safety, but knowing that he gave it all up in his presidency to stay true to his core. Oh, we have to re-electi this president on Nov. 6, 2012. That is why I get up and do what I have to do no matter how much pain is tearing up my body. I will not give up until we get this done. For me, it means I want my sweet and dear young people to have a better foundation laid out for them to enjoy while I am long gone. This senior still has the fight in me to do just that. Let us keep moving FORWARD. It is worth the fight. We Will Win. HZ

Romney at Jacksonville fundraiser, per pool, on Obama campaign: “Character assassination has become the nature of his campaign”

  17. May 17, 2012 at 12:35 pm

Mitt Romney is claiming that, if he is elected, he will start to put out the “prairie fire of debt” sweeping the nation.

But his tax plan, in its current form, would instead feed the flames.

Romney is proposing to cut the top income tax rate from 35 percent to 28 percent and cut other tax rates by 20 percent, among other tax cuts. That would reduce revenue to the federal government and increase the debt and deficit, according to nonpartisan analysts.

    • May 17, 2012 at 12:44 pm

Basically, the only thing these plans do is cut Federal Jobs! The debt is actually increased, because of the massive taxcuts.
Which is what Wall Street wants and Why Government spending is vilified!

Romney Campaign Responds To Dirty Super PAC Attack On Obama By Attacking Obama

There’s one thing I didn’t know…I just read it on Kos, I saw the link on twitter…….Romney did mentioned Rev. Wright in February

”I think again that the president takes his philosophical leanings in this regard, not from those who are ardent believers in various faiths but instead from those who would like America to be more secular. And I’m not sure which is worse, him listening to Reverend Wright or him saying that we must be a less than Christian nation.”

The hypocrisy of this POS is so out of this world….I don’t even know what to say…

So the MSM was hyperventilating last week about the Bain ads from the President’s campaign….which was factual……but the other side gets a free pass as usual.

I hope one day there will be a massive boycott of these stations…..MSNBC included…at least a boycott of the sponsors.

To think that Romney accuse the President campaign of character assassination…..was he the one who didn’t say a word when that lunatic said the President was a traitor who needed to be impeach?……

    • 87 ChristiMTL
      May 17, 2012 at 1:02 pm

I love PO and VP but there’s one thing I hope they would stop doing is saying what a good patriot Romney is when they mention him…or like VP said yesterday ”he’s a very generous man, he gives to his church”.

Yea well, for me it’s selective ”generosity”…..you give to a church but you want to cut all the social programs that help the poor and people in need……I find it cruel and heartless.

He wants to eliminate Planned Parenthood as well.

      He’s not a good patriot…he’s a vampire…

Then again, these PO and VP have so much class and dignity…..I would not want them to change for anything……

All Democrats do that sort of thing and it drives me crazy. You’ll see a panel and they’ll waste their precious air time saying Boehner’s a nice guy or some such nonsense, letting the Repubs on the panel take a swill of coffee and start talking over them again.

I think this leak of the Ricketts plan will shoot it down.Somebody in the GOP has a conscience enough to leak that piece of crap. He is backing off from it already. Stands to lose business wise as well. The mere fact of it and the refocus on debt tells me the GOP is freaking out because the economy is doing better and expected to improve. Talking about jobs brings up Bain. Masterful work on the part of the President’s political team.

  26. 96 Bill R.
    May 17, 2012 at 1:02 pm

Obviously Ricketts and his worms didn’t consult with Romney. Big mistake. If Jeremiah Wright is on the table, then Brigham Young, Mitt’s hero, is also on the table with his teachings on race, polygamy, women’s subservience. Remember until the 1970s Mormonism was officially racist. AAs had the mark of Cain and were cursed, could have only second class membership in the church at best.

During the 1970s African Americans were getting more and more visible as excellent business people, teachers, writers, ethicists, scientists, and it was obvious to everyone who had eyes and ears and hearts. Then the Prophet down in Salt Lake City had a “revelation” that African Americans were to be allowed full fellowship in the LDS (Mormon) church. It was really really really embarrassing to thinking Utahns who never understood the rejection of AAs in the first place. I mean, it was REALLY embarrassing. A “revelation”? Really? Why didn’t he say that upon rereading their Doctrine and Covenants they saw that there’d been an injustice done all those years? It would have looked more honest, heaven knows.

  27. May 17, 2012 at 1:05 pm

So, Cilliza is saying pay no attention to the rejection by Rickettems of the ad, which he says everybody thought was a bad idea, Everybody.
Then, he says go check it out online…
WTF? Us he fucking crazy? Cilliza is an idiot!
