I am Mittens (Romney that is)

I am Mittens a bully and a flip flopper
I wonder why so many poor, gay, lesbian, black and white americans want to pick on me

I hear always“Mittens you have too much money”
I see nothing wrong with tax benefits for the rich
I want to be President so damn bad I can taste it
I am Mittens, a bully and a flip flopper

I pretend to care about the average and poor when i really don’t give a damn

I feel like everybody ought to pull themselves up…….even if it means borrowing from your parents

I touch little poor kids and think “ewwww, how disgusting”

I worry that I won’t get in the White House…. You know it’s my turn

I cry when i think about that skinny ass Obama sleeping in my bedroom

I am Mittens, a bully and a flip flopper

I understand that it’s okay to change your views on all issues when you think it benefits you

I say things like “let Detroit go bankrupt”, “I’m for universal healthcare”, and just like that, i change my mind…..It’s so much fun
I dream that all rich people get an even bigger tax break , cause God knows they need it

I try to really stay in character, but it’s so much fun making an ass of myself

I hope that America votes me in as their next president

I am Mittens, a bully and a flip flopper.

GOOODDDD Morning you O’s!!!! It’s a rainy getting up day in the Chi-town area this morning, but a great one none-the-less. We’re bracing for the NATO convention here at the end of the week. Many traffic changes, public transportation re-routes, and a sense of nervousness. I think that for the most part things will go smoothly, most people who want to make a statement will do so peacefully. There will always be those agitators who only want to raise a ruckus. They’d rather make their protest more about themselves, than their issue. Chicago is prime for this as we’re still known for the Democratic convention that got out of hand in the ’60s. That was clearly an overreaction by the authorities. Hopefully, this will go off without a hitch. FLOTUS is taking visiting wives of dignitaries to see the South Shore Drill Team at the Coleman center on the south side of Chicago. My granddaughter was a member of this team and they are phenomenal.

The South Shore Drill Team are fantastic. Maybe the next set of dignitaries can get to see the Jessie White Tumblers too.

    Oh Crikey

Excerpts from Mitt’s speech at Liberty – —

“In some ways, it is fitting that I share this distinction with Truett Cathy. The Romney campaign comes to a sudden stop when we spot a Chick-fil-A. Your chicken sandwiches were our comfort food through the primary season, and there were days that we needed a lot of comforting. So, Truett, thank you and congratulations on your well-deserved honor today.

I will always remember his (Jerry Falwell’s) cheerful good humor and selflessness. Several years ago, in my home, my wife and I were posing for a picture together with him. We wanted him to be in the center of the photo, but he insisted that Ann be in the middle, with he and I on the sides. He explained, by pointing to me and himself, “You see, Christ died between two thieves.”

    Oh the irony

I just thought Chick Fil-A was a healthier option than Wendy’s and McDonalds, you get great service and the food tastes better. I figured it was great for employees that they don’t work on a Sunday because everyone deserves time spent with family.

But the link deserflower provided shows that they are also anti – religion meaning, discrimination in hiring practices/franchises against any group that are not Christians or have no religion at all AND employees are required to participate in their retreats. That is dead wrong.

I can’t believe it. Who thinks this stuff up? I mean it is straight crazy.

            May 12, 2012 at 12:29 pm

Well, as long as the focus remains on just the AA community, all of this can continue relatively unnoticed and therefore, unchallenged. Black Pastors need to clean up their act for sure – but they’re not the only ones.

              May 12, 2012 at 12:36 pm

hopefruit2 – I can’t lie. There are churches I absolutely refuse to walk into. There are churches where during a sermon I get up, pick my stuff up, gather my kids and leave or stand up and argue with the Pastor while he is on the pulpit during Sunday morning service but I have NEVER thought about this type of situation. I knew about Focus on the Family, Jerry Falwell and his ilk etc. But this is absolutely nuts. I mean I knew they were “off” and didn’t represent my views on faith but what the heck? What kind of person comes up with a plan to set up restaurants to infringe upon the rights of others and discriminate or set up controls based on their own world view?

You are right that all this needs to be brought out in the open. I had absolutely no idea. none.

              Thanks again desertflower.

I grew up Catholic and there were all kinds of bigotry – some of which codified into rules. In my Catholic high school for example, female teachers who got pregnant out of wedlock were fired, but male teachers who fathered children out of wedlock were allowed to continue.

And I’m sure this sexism is still going on in certain orthodox churches.

          May 12, 2012 at 1:37 pm

Anniebella, I like Capehart also, but he really need to be quiet on the fashion designer’s topic. I would love to tell Jonathan a few things about dressing.

POB will look good with a towel draped over his shoulder and we all would go crazy in a second. Jonathan? I Do Not Think So. Some things are left unspoken.

Plus, POB has worn brown suits less because he loves his blues. He had a brwon suit a couple of Easters ago, and you could tell that he did not like how he felt in that colour for a suit., however, remember our POTUS does not like to waste. He may have purchased the suit, or a designer gift to try out, and he graciously accept, and he wear it once in a while. Remember, he told us and FLOTUS has told us, POB is not into clothes. He can wear something forever, and still feel great to his core. I love that about him.

Just relax, Mr. President, and show up in some fine “Presidential Shorts” anyday for us. Just fine with us. I have my supply of cocoa butter, ladies. Ready for the spring and summer activities. HZ

Rachel spoke about this last night, and I thought she did a great job. This is a BFD

    http://politicalwire.com/archives/2012/05/11/health_care_game_changer.html

The Obama administration will soon announce $1.3 billion in rebate checks to nearly 16 million Americans from health insurance companies.

Mark Halperin: “From almost the moment the Affordable Care Act (a/k/a “ObamaCare”) was signed into law, the administration has been playing defense… But the rebate provision of the law — the fruits of the so-called ’80/20 rule’ — is about to kick in big time, as millions of Americans receive rebate checks or premium reductions from insurance companies who have failed to spend enough on patient care. This cash could be a true game changer in public attitudes about whether the law actually is beneficial and good public policy.”

The best thing is…the rebate explanation says that this rebate is due to the Affordable Care Act:)

On top of that, I am paying 50% less on prescription drugs. To be honest, I am so puzzled when I hear that senior citizens are against OBAMA CARES. The ACA is really benefiting senior citizens.

John King – crushed ….- like a bug, yeah, sounds good to me.

“Mitt Romney (L), U.S. Republican presidential candidate and former Massachusetts governor wipes a tear as he is introduced to speak at the Liberty University commencement ceremony at in Lynchburg, Virginia May 12, 2012. At right is Chancellor Jerry Falwell Jr. Liberty University, founded by the late television evangelist Jerry Falwell, is a bastion for conservative Christian thought. Its theology students are taught that Mormonism – Romney’s religion – is a cult.”

I totally wouldn’t be surprised to see Willard have a “born again” moment sometime during the course of the campaign… 🙄

In 2004, while serving the one term he served as governor of Massachusetts, Willard Romney decided that he would remake the culture of state politics by remaking the composition of the state legislature. He put the prestige of his office, and his personal credibility, which at that time was considerable, behind a slate of 131 Republican legislative candidates. He and the state GOP put together a $3 million direct-mail campaign. It was by far the most vigorous attempt by a Republican governor to reconfigure state politics in anyone’s memory.

    He failed.

    Then he quit.

As recounted in the Boston Globe’s exhaustive series in 2007, shortly after his effort augered in — the Republicans wound up losing two seats in the Massachusetts House and one in the state senate — Romney met with the newspaper’s editorial board and told the board that he was finished doing anything for any other Republicans ever again.

“From now on,” the newspaper reported, “it’s me-me-me.”

Nobody who watched him use Massachusetts as a stepladder to where he is today can be surprised that, today, we have two garish examples of the fact that, for all his success in business and his well-manicured family raised on his well-manicured lawns, Romney is essentially an entitled fopdoodle who divides the world into two classes, Himself and The Help, and who is running for president because his golden life has taught him the essential lesson that there is nothing in the world he can’t charm and/or money-whip into his pocket if he really, really wants it.

The talk about chik-fil-A’s religious practices and questionable donations (and Hobby Lobby, both of which I knew about) made me check on other religious affiliated businesses. Here is an interesting list, with some surprises. One of the most senseless—-defense industry Trijicon, which was inscribing coded biblical references on high powered rifle sights used by U.S. military—-because who wouldn’t want a bible verse on a gun that kills? U.S. military was unaware of practice and said it violated U.S. military rules. Patronize, or not, depending on your views. People need to be aware of whom they’re supporting though. Timberland at least used their religious views for good.

Also right below this list is another which is former products with an “eco” reputation which have all been bought by large corps. Clorox owns Burts Bees??? (and adds to my fear that one day there will just be one large corp.)

If anyone is crazy enough to believe Mitt Romney, then they are a dam fool. This crisis this country was in didn’t happen overnight and it won’t be fix overnight. And please tell me how could the economy be fix, with the Republicans obstruction. The Republicans obstruct, block, sabotage, filibuster, they did everything they could to keep this economy from recovering, and now this lying Mitt Romney is spreading more lies. I would be ashame to be a Republican today.

    Bullies, Bashing and the GOP

    by Leo Soderman

    —————————————-

If you want to see how the man’s character has developed, you need to look at more than just his high school years. He protested in favor of the Vietnam War, then got himself moved to France to avoid the draft. His time at Bain Capital, where he made his money buying, then dismantling businesses, pocketing the profits while moving jobs offshore and putting Americans out of work. Or his battle with and elimination of a Massachusetts state-sponsored group that worked to educate against gay bullying. You can look at his current focus at cutting the taxes on the wealthy, while increasing them on the poor. There are plenty of things you can point to that show where his thinking has “evolved”. You don’t need to extrapolate it from his behavior as a teen.

But there is a pattern here. And in that sense, there is some value to knowing about this incident. Romney has always been couched in privilege. And from that privilege comes arrogance and a sense of entitlement. It comes with the perception that those who are different must be made to toe the line. And that getting ahead, getting your own way, takes precedence over the welfare of others. In other words, he acts like a bully.

Today, that bullying is in the form of money. He will spend as much as it takes to get himself the nomination, and if he can, the Presidency.

Wanna bet we’re going to see an MSM article about PBO’s new look today?

I’m betting $10. that by Wednesday next week – we will have seen the article (Internet/print) or cable TV segment. If I win the bet, then the other person has to donate $10.00 to PBO’s re-election fund. If I lose the bet, then I have to donate $10. to PBO’s re-election fund.
