Okay…time for our President and our First Lady to have a “push ups” play off. They could do it for charity and can you imagine the buzz it would generate! I love our Prez, but my money would be with our FLOTUS.

Maybe, when he returns from Colombia they will take a vacation. It is much needed and well deserved.

He doesn’t have time for a vacation right now. He’s running for president for pete’s sake!!! Christmas 2007 he even missed his annual trek to Hawaii. Don’t expect to see that until August. Also hosting the G-8 and NATO next month. Fundraising plus all his regular duties. And he sees his family regularly now unlike during the campaign so not as much of a need to set time aside in a getaway.

Busy, busy family. But I agree, I could not keep up that pace.

Yes, he does need a vacation. He needs a weekend away before he really gets going. He needs it with his wife especially and his family. Because after he wins he is really going to be on the go to get done all that he could not complete in his first term.

http://blogs.phoenixnewtimes.com/bastard/2012/04/joe_arpaios_reign_of_terror_bl.php The story behind this documentary, and of the power hungry, out of control sheriff of Maricopa County and a 9 year old girl that needs justice. Pass this around. This is the corrupt, ugly, fearful state I live in. This man, his cronies and accomplices (and there are many) need to bbe brought to justice. He and his merry band of law breakers have tomented and stolen from the citizens of this county long enough. DOJ….can you hear us????

I know we all don’t like Richard Engle, as he gets a little smarmy with POTUS.
But what if that is a cover?
He is now in NK, 100 yards in front of that 3 stage missle, being deployed.
How in the hell does Engle get into these places that nobody else can? Btw- this is fantastic Intel for US Government!
    I think I know.

RW War on Women? Wonder where they got THAT idea??

    http://www.addictinginfo.org/2012/04/09/pat-robertson-women-are-subservient-to-men-in-marriage-video/

Oh. And forget your little issue of very little in the way of household money…give THAT to the church!! You can go die in a ditch. Sorry…stuff like this makes me wretch.

A man wrote a letter to Robertson about what he should do about his wife demanding that they tithe less money to the church because of tough financial problems. Robertson responded that the man is the boss in the marriage and should continue to give more money to church instead of saving to get out of a bad financial situation.

In 2002, Mitt Romney often cited his mother to help describe his pro-choice views. At one gubernatorial debate Romney said:
In 1970 there was a women who ran for U.S. Senate in a conservative Republican state. She took a bold postion, because this was before Roe v. Wade. A postion that she was in favor of choice. She lost, but she did it with great honor and with boldness. She was my mom Lenore Romney. She had strong personal views on the issues which she abided by. She also believed in the separation of church and state, as I do. Let me make this perfectly clear. I will preserve and protect a women’s right to choice and this should no be made a political issue in this campaign.

Chips, thank you so much for this amazing day of pictures and video. Seeing CK meet the first family, listening to all of them read to me, watching all of this made me feel that I was there. This site has educated me, informed me, made me laugh and cry (in a good way), and encouraged me in staying active for POTUS’s reelection. You are, as always, the hostess with the mostest, and I appreciate this wonderful place. Thank you!

Every Tuesday morning is my servant day for our food pantry. (Manna House–don’t you love that name for a food pantry?)

Good morning to all and God’s blessing to each of you. I have a prayer request for dear, dear friends in northern VA. The husband had a massive stroke on March 29. He is now in hospice care and we are waiting……waiting. He is 64 years old, a “larger than life” personality; lived his life to the fullest every waking second. The universe will be smaller when he goes to heaven. My heart is breaking and breaking again and again. Of course, we will be going to Fairfax for his service either this Saturday or next Saturday. Please keep this family in your prayers. Thank you.

Yeah they are determined to try and sway this election with their bogus polls but we will not let them. Not this time! These numbers are good but I want a 30 point lead so we’ve got work to do.

    This is good news!!!

Newser) – The Supreme Court has agreed to take a case that justices Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Stephen Breyer say will give it a chance to rethink its infamous Citizens United v. FEC decision. The court is being asked to look into a Montana Supreme Court decision stating that its law restricting corporate election spending in state elections is fine, because it “arises from Montana history,” UPI reports. Essentially, Montana is arguing that Citizens United only applies to federal laws and elections, not state ones

Alexander Burns and Maggie Haberman report:

National Democrats are banking on a long-shot strategy to shield President Barack Obama from an expected onslaught of outside GOP spending in the 2012 election: nuking the messengers.

The Obama campaign has long warned that it would face attacks from heavily funded Republican super PACs and other groups that can take unlimited contributions. Now, as several of those groups begin launching television blitzes, the task of defending Obama from their offensive has gained new urgency.

A string of conservative groups — including Americans for Prosperity, the American Future Fund and the American Energy Alliance — have already assailed Obama on the swing-state airwaves with millions of dollars in negative ads. American Crossroads President Steven Law signaled in a New York Times interview that his behemoth organization might begin bombarding the president within the month.

Democrats acknowledge that matching those groups dollar for dollar will be a difficult challenge — Crossroads alone may spend up to $300 million on all 2012 federal races, including the presidential contest. Instead, the president’s campaign and the Obama-sanctioned super PAC Priorities USA Action are attempting to undercut the spending by tainting it in the minds of voters, linking it to oil magnates and other unpopular corporate interests.

“We had always prepared for special interests to spend a half-billion dollars in an attempt to defeat the president,” Obama press secretary Ben LaBolt said. “We’re asking our supporters to invest now to allow us to build the largest grass-roots campaign in history. And we’ve made clear that we will not unilaterally disarm.”

Obama campaign fires back at Rove’s Crossroads
By BYRON TAU | 4/9/12 9:34 PM EDT
In a personal swipe at Republican strategist Karl Rove, the Obama campaign tried to rally supporters against a coming onslaught of negative ads from the Republican super PAC American Crossroads.

“Karl Rove’s group American Crossroads, which has already raised $200 million to try to defeat President Obama, is preparing its first major attack against us,” Obama campaign manager Jim Messina wrote in a Monday night email to supporters.

The New York Times reported Sunday that the GOP super PAC, that Rove helped found, was preparing a multi-state anti-Obama ad blitz designed to help give the eventual Republican nominee some extra time to build an organization and a fundraising operation.

“Their message, according to a report in this morning’s paper, is that Obama ‘just may not be up to the job,'” Messina wrote.

“Let me repeat that: Karl Rove is saying that President Obama isn’t ‘up to the job.’ Does anyone really need a reminder of what happened when they were in charge?” Messina wrote.

“[T]hey’re not just attacking him. They’re making a $200 million bet that this organization and its supporters — in other words, you — don’t have it in you to fight back,” Messina wrote in a fundraising solicitation, asking supporters to chip in three dollars or more to fight back against Rove and Crossroads.

“this organization and its supporters — in other words, you — don’t have it in you to fight back,”

That’s a ridiculous way to solicit for funds.

Chips..we’ve got fantastic poll numbers out for Pres. Obama today. A majority of polls are showing him crushing Romney every which way. As usual the GOP and their media shills are trying to call this a negative for PBO which we know is a flat out lie. Tuesday’s good! 😀
