President Obama shake hands with Marine Sgt Kristie Ness prior to Ness’ last flight mission on Marine One
I don’t know (I’m not a techie person) but whenever I tried to post it would say posting and never show up.
That happened for a few days .
Seems to be fixed now , fingers crossed.
Thanks for asking Chips and I must say that we are really glad you are back and in full swing.
The place is not the same without you.
Oh criquet, I’m certain you’re more of a techie person than me – I never have a clue what advice to offer when these annoying things happen. I had a few problems posting stuff yesterday, the glitches returned, so hopefully it’s fixed today – she says nervously. Thanks for keeping trying criquet, you have endless patience.
Hi collegekay. I gave something, but it may not be much being that I am on a tight fixed income, but it is from the closet of my love chamber of my heart, and that I do mean “loving giving.” I give monthly, but I want to help where ,and when I can less organic soy drink this month. I hope you get that call.(((((((((Mr. President’s Call)))))))))HZ
Actually Amk, I’m so busy trying to see if someone activated my webcam all unbeknownst to me or if Chips put a bug in my surroundings, that I haven’t time right now to throw anything. 😯
Morning dear Chips Chica! How are you this morning? It’s a lovely, sunny day where I am, though it’s a bit nippy. How about you?
BTW Chica – (big, extra wide, FALSE smile) Winning isn’t everything, you know. Plus, for some people, one first place and two awesome pictures are enough. Wealth should not be hoarded, but rather shared among the family. (ahem)
[Chica, You were inspired when you chose your avatar. Just that part you captured seems so mischievous that whenever I read your ribbing I always picture you grinning as you type. I feel sure I’ll recognize that grin come Inauguration time! 😉
WHAT! Bring a stranger into our family? 😯 😯 Wash the family’s linen in public? I have no idea WHAT the world is coming to!Shame on you, CC for even entertaining such a thought! 🙄 Plus it’s such a joy to ‘fight back’ on my own schedule 😉 😉
Bye bye beautiful TOD butterflies… Will peek in when I can…. I am thinking my favorite photograph EVER, in my life, including pics of my precious daughter (but please don’t tell her) is the photo last week of PBO standing at the entry to AF1, waving to us against the backdrop of that dusky sky…. This photo has me totally hypnotized…. Do you think I’ll be okay? 🙂
Morning, Pamela. If you are not okay, you’ll still be in good company. Now I’ll have to go look for that photo that is competing with your daughter’s. 😉 Have a good day!
This one is lovely, but, no, it’s the one where the plane blends into the color of the sky, and PBO is in the lower forefront, waving before he steps inside. I suppose it is really a picture of the sky, with e subject so understated, but that is what makes it so perfect and so powerful. He is featured just exactly as he is, and the power of the backdrop defines his work in the world. I’ll send it to Chips…
Oh! From Pamela’s description it seems this is the one! Are you guys sure that the blue behind the plane is the sky? I’ve never seen the real sky so blue. Maybe it’s just a cloth backdrop. 😉
It’s the sky. God’s blanket. I was on a cruise and tried to get to look at the sunrise and the sunset everyday. We are so blessed to live in such a beautiful world and blessed to have this man as the leader of the world.
I love this picture. The colors are so vivid and simple…the enormous blue, white, the soft golden lights from the windows and then the president in his dark suit waiving, it’s so perfect.
It’s just gorgeous Meta, isn’t it? When it appears on Flickr you’ll be able to get the bigger version for your lovely desktop, for now it’s just here (the last one):
Me too, meta, it is my lock screen wallpaper, and I am thrilled each time I see it! Maybe if Chips posts a photo of my daughter, you guys will see how I feel about this pic!
President Barack Obama’s advisors fire back at Mitt Romney.
====================================
We are prepared to engage your advisors on these and other issues. While they were criticizing the president, they have failed to answer the following basic questions about your national security proposals:
.
.
• Why have you not outlined any policies to achieve U.S. objectives and end the war in Afghanistan? How would you change the president’s plan, which has the full support of NATO and our closest allies, including the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, and Australia?
• What did you mean when you said, “It’s not worth moving heaven and earth spending billions of dollars just trying to catch one person,” referring to Osama bin Laden? Given the clear successes of President Obama’s counterterrorism policies, why and how would you change the current approach to disrupt, dismantle, and defeat al Qaeda?
• Why did you call Russia “without question our number one geopolitical foe,” especially when strategic cooperation with Russia is essential for countering the Iranian nuclear threat? What do you think is gained by casting Russia in this role? Do you believe there are other entities that pose greater challenges to American economic and strategic interests in the 21st century?
I missed this one. Maybe someone should read it to the idiot. I don’t think he can read that well. Putting his foot in his mouth every chance he gets; telling stories about his father moving jobs. RETIRED MILITARY SCATHING CRITIQUES OF GOP FOREIGN POLICY
The 2012 Election and National Security
=====================================
Ret. General Wesley Clark, Former Navy Secretary Richard Danzig and Ret. Major General Paul Eaton talk about the 2012 Election and National Security at the National Press Club in Washington, DC on November 21, 2011
He us the only current poll out of about ten,
That has him losing to Robney.
And that poll, will be the one quoted by Republicans, and of course, Anderson Cooper.
Let’s keep collegekay going to get that phone call. I sid on an earlier thread that I am going to make a couple more donations tonight. Then I am going to treat it as a eBay auction. Tomorrow night, at about 10:30 CDT I will check in and see the status and start pumping in extra donatiosn as needed right up to 11 CDT. I am assuming when they say midnight, they mean EDT.
And then I know Collegekay will be so grateful she will plead with PBO to give us all phone calls.
We are thinking in terms of whether or not the court votes against the ACA so from our vantage point, if they vote against it, it means disaster for the American people as well as for PBO.
I suspect the WH has a completely different interpretation of what happens either way, which explains why PBO fast tracked this now and not later, and why they don’t seemed particularly bothered one way or the other. Remember, PBO is a constitutional scholar – a brilliant one at that, and probably has a more profound understanding of these scenarios better than the typical TV “legal analyst.”
Hell, I am sure his understanding is better than 5 of those justices on the SC. I wonder if someitme in the future we will be talking about a SC headed by Chief Justice Barack Obama.
‘PBO is a constitutional scholar – a brilliant one at that, and probably has a more profound understanding of these scenarios’
Reading that just now triggered the thought – I wonder if that’s precisely why he chose that area of study – to master the Constitution in such a way that he could use it effectively. I doubt there would be too many other politicians, certainly not Republicans, who would have studied its nuances or its potential . I mean, they very often reveal their ignorance when they open their mouths, and I say this as someone who has never read the Constitution.
hopeferuit, you took the words out of my head and wrote them down for me. We have to have faith in a constitutional scholar. He knows what he is doing, that is why he had the case brought to the justices before the election.
One way or the other, whatever they rule doesn’t matter. The man has plans. And those plans are going to work out for the greater good. Thank you hopefruit for your faith.
Oh man, you see both of them almost crying hearing those parents story, it just melt your heart. What a gift these two are to such an ungrateful nation. Someone quite famous in America told me not too long ago, that contries gets the leaders they deserve, and for a few seconds in 2008 America deserved Barack Obama, but now it deserves Rick Santorum.
Even though I’m pretty certain Santorum would be the kind of guy to use the N word freely, I’m not convinced he was about to use it here. Although, I have no clue what other N word he was about to use.
Thanks Chips. If he wasn’t going to use the N word then don’t hesitate. Let it rip. The tongue was faster than his brain. Now watch him lie and say he didn’t say it.
The only other word that comes to mind is “negotiator” which would be completely out of context…. I never waste my data listening to this imbecile, he is little more than a female version of the wordsmith from Wasilla (thank you Dick Cavett)!
Thank you itgurl!!! Note my comment above – had hoped someone captured it. And, it certainly does not appear to be a hack – the way he catches himself and tries to pivot is just as obvious as the n-word …
It’s clear he meant to say something else, but I think it’s a stretch to “N—“. We can’t be jumping over a stumble that is not clearer than this. We would hate it if Repubs would do that and it just gives them more fodder for “you’re always crying race”. There is plenty of stuff that they do that we can call foul on. Let’s keep our powder dry. I wouldn’t say ignore it if there were of it to here, it’s just really hard to tell.
kind of agree with you, maryl1. plus, insanetorum is sinking fast and we’ll barely remember his name in a few months, so at this point he’s a distraction from taking on r-money and senate/rep republican candidates in general.
i just watched it again, and maybe need to change my mind. it’s such a huge stumble and reaction from him, and his following words are completely unrelated to the sentence leading up to the big gaffe. it looks like he was really flustered that he almost let that word slip out. of course maybe, like his “blah people” claim, he’s just a big fan of pakistani soap operas, and simply had this one on his mind… http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nigah
and even if he’s irrelevant now, it would be worth tying him and this gaffe to republicans in general since republican voters all over the country are choosing this guy for their #2!
I just had an idea. The Obama campaign should set it up so that a donation can be made in honor of someone who will benefit from Obamacare. I thought of this regarding my 5 year old niece who has juvenile diabetes. She will benefit from insurance companies not being able to deny her coverage for her pre-existing condition. It would be nice to have a link set up that mentions a donation was in made in honor of someone you love who needs Obamacare.
thanks japa. i just sent the idea to a general question/comment message place at OFA, but please feel free to pass the idea on if you happen to have a better connection!
Go to Barackobama.com the official website. Scroll to the bottom and click on contact us. Scroll down to other concerns and comments, click on that and fill out the form.
SO, you had a recent birthday too? How come we weren’t informed? Only the ‘elders’ (who admit to their status) should be getting titles around here. [VC rulebook]
Okay, I give up, Chips. I was trying to figure out how many years you’ve been around so I could get the appropriate card, but fiddling around with the total number of acknowledged days above isn’t working. Thus, I cannot correct my oversight until I can special order a card for 36,83? days.{Good Lord you’re energetic for a centenarian, though!}
Chips, iIsent a note to OFA so hopefully they will see it. A few minutes ago i was thinking that if SCOTUS does happen to overturn obamacare in June then I think voter turnout will be overwhelmingly HUGE next Nov to re-elect the President. There will be so many people who will then realize what is at stake in this election when they see their hopes of affordable healthcare taken away from them or their loved ones. There will be outrage!
That’s terrific, lovingandlaughing. I think it was Meta who tweeted Jim Messina about turning ‘Let’s Stay Together’ in to a ringtone – and it happened. It might be worth trying to tweet him too about this, although I know it’s hard to fit it all in to so few words.
I absolutely agree about the ACA, as someone wrote the other day, the GOP should be careful what they wish for. If the Supreme Court throws it out – or, at least the individual mandate – people will suddenly realize what they’ve lost. Good luck to the GOP in November if that happens.
President Barack Obama shake hands with Marine Sgt, Kristie Ness before boarding Marine One at Andrews Air Force Base, Md., Friday, March, 30, 2012, prior to Ness’ last flight mission on Marine One.
You know, I just cannot picture GWB or just about any of the past several Republican President’s taking the time out to do that special bit of recognition without making a big deal out of it. With this man, as mentioned in regard to the “dinner with Barack and Michelle” video, everything he does is just damn natural and sincere and done in a personal way that, even if done in some degree of a public settign, still comes across as a private moment. Sgt Ness will remember this moment for the rest of her life.
I still don’t see what all the fuss is about. Obama, in Seoul for a nuclear security summit, told Russian President Dmitri Medvedev he’s willing to work on missile defense, but the U.S. will need “space” and “flexibility” outside of an election season. Obama was quietly confirming what we already knew — political environments sometimes restrict foreign policy talks.
So what is it, exactly, Republicans are worked up about? The gist of the argument seems to be that Obama will effectively scuttle Western missile-defense policy once freed from re-election concerns. Fred Kaplan makes a compelling case that the accusations are “totally out of whack with reality.”
.
.
Kaplan’s piece goes further, and explains what’s likely if Obama gets a second term, but the bottom line remains the same: the hyperventilating in some corners over this is misplaced. I can appreciate why hot-mic stories have an inherent appeal, but the apoplexy is getting a little silly.
Yes its all pretty silly.. the message of it seems to be that “Vladimir” and “Obama” will become a duo.. and we’ll alllllll be Russians 😉 .. or maybe they’ll allllll be Americans. Pretty effing stupid.
How many decades has it been since anyone heard the word “Russia” and thought “enemy?” The GOP is living in the past, maybe someone should tell them the cold war is over.
Judge Tosses Out Proposed Missouri Voter ID Constitutional Amendment |
A judge in Missouri vacated the language of a proposed ballot measure backed by Republicans that would amend the state constitution to require voters to present ID. Cole County Circuit Court judge Judge Pat Joyce wrote that the proposed description that would appear on the ballot was “insufficient and unfair.”
Joyce’s ruling was in response to a lawsuit filed by the ACLU of Eastern Missouri and a resident. The General Assembly will now have a chance to revise the language. “We are pleased that the court sent a strong statement that respects the voters of Missouri,” the Fair Elections Legal Network, a voting rights group, said in a statement. “Missourians deserve to know what they are being asked to vote on, particularly when a fundamental right, like the right to vote, is at stake.”
Hey TOD Family!!! Just now able to check in today and I must agree that our Prez is looking mighty fine in those photos (Thank you Chips darlin’!) And it’s very nice to see that fine helicopter pilot again!
Happy Birthday, Twitter. I wanted to tell you something that would adequately express how much I love you but you didn’t give me enough spac— John Fugelsang (@JohnFugelsang) March 30, 2012
The Republican governor of Maine won’t be on hand to greet President Obama upon his arrival in Portland later this afternoon. A spokeswoman for Gov. Paul LePage — who has a reputation as a conservative firebrand — tells POLITICO that the governor won’t be in Portland today. During his 2010 campaign for governor, LePage said that his message for President Obama would be, “go to hell.”
Thank you Linda. I’m aware of The Lede post and don’t think that that it is inconsistent with the message in the tweet about Fox. But, perhaps I’m missing something. Appreciate your comment.
Seems I remember that LePage was elected with less than 30% of the vote, because of other candidates…..he is truly a minority governor! I believe he could enhance his standing with voters if he met the President. These governors are shooting themselves in the foot. Mary Fallin, our lame gov in Oklahoma, got no applause for her behavior when the President came. She received only disapproval. Stay classy govs!!
Okay I just listened to that full video of Santorum giving that speech yesterday in Wisconisn where it sounds like he starts to say a racial slur about President Obama.
Well, here is tha actual long version of the speech. Start it around 34:00 minute section of the video. This one I don’t believe has been doctored in anyway so you decide but it sure sounds like he was going “there”. He even pivots his tone in his speech because he catches himself. I am totally disgusted!
Yes, Donna. Did the same. It was not the almost completely uttered ‘nigg ..’ it was the way he instantly caught what was coming out of his mouth and pivoted that both signaled it was not a ‘hacked’ audio file and that he knew he nearly blew it. Well, he did blow it. When folk do stuff like that, it no longer matters what they tell you they think, they’ve already revealed what they really think and the rest is bunk.
Donna, it wasn’t that he almost completed the ‘nigg ..’ it was the instantaneous pivot that informs that he knew how close he came. In that instant, he told everyone just what he really thinks and no amount of spin ever washes that stain from the fabric of human discourse.
The only way to redeem oneself from that type of ‘slip’ is to step forward and either say – ‘Yes, I said it and meant it’ which as offensive as whatever the statement was at least the person had the courage to stick with it. The other is to say ‘Yes, I said it. It’s the way I am and I’m doing everything I can to change. Please give me an opportunity to do so.’
We know Pope Surge I is never going to do either. We also know exactly how he refers to the President of the United States and all people of color whenever he doesn’t think it’s being recorded or being heard by someone who’d not agree with him.
yes., he mentions race more than once, at least twice in this speech- he seems VERY consumed with race.. and each time he then points at POTUS as dividing us.. I am of the mind that for Santorum- having a black President really is the sole dividing force- it is something I honestly feel this guy cannot get his head around- he’s not just playing a racist on teevee (: for his ‘followers’… he believes in his innate superiority due to that white skin. When he finally gets out of the race- we need to keep an eye on where he goes next.. FOX? Radio? State politics again? Some evil pac/think tank? Whatever, but he’s not going away.
thanks for posting the whole thing donna. I just listened- for anyone else who doesn’t want to hear all the other folks prior to Santorum.. at about 33:00 he talks about “Barack Obama dividing us” (yeah irony), and at about 34:15 someone yells “we’ll take care of him (it?)” and then at 34:15 is where he dang near says that word.. and I’m not all that certain that it wasn’t intentional. I listened to the whole first part of this speech- up to the N word part.. and frankly this is a person who appears to be very aware of the ‘words’ he chooses. He’s a manipulative SOB – such as when he ‘quotes’ POTUS by stating that Barack Obama READ (not spoke) a speech… and the audience responds.. he knows what he’s saying/doing here… and evidently so does the audience, as someone sure did want us ALL to hear this for ourselves.
I cannot express my feelings about this person, every comment that I want to use is pretty vile.
This guy is sick sum and I am so glad he will be done after August. I hope to never hear his voice again, maybe he will be in such deep debt that he and his wife will need “Obamacare” for their child and they both will have to grovel in public.
Lawdhamercy — he’s on everybody’s mind, all the time. 😆
For the first time in my life I bought a lottery ticket for this past Tuesday’s megamillions drawing. Will buy my second tonight. If/when I win, I’m setting up a satellite TOD/OFA/SuperPac office in — where else? — HAWAII, Baby!
PJ, make sure the office is close to the beach and has a house attached or close by, so that those of us who come to help register voters have a place to sleep. 😉 😉
My fiiiine President!
Winner!!
Morning Proud 😉
Good morning and thank you for the lovely pic of our brilliant, handsome President. Hope he raises tons of money today.

What a cute kitty! Can I adopt him/her?
You want to adopt VC? 😯
LOL! Only if she looks and behaves like that animal in the picture 🙂
Rats! HF, does one out of two count? 😆
‘Cute’ has never been applied to me. 😉
Sorry friend, both criteria must be fulfilled. 🙂 🙂 🙂
Sigh!…….Thanks for being honest. I’ll just have to keep looking, I guess. 😆 😆

Two words …..OH SNAP !!!!!
Felt like trying to tweak a tail. Of course, they might be dumb enough not to have read the actual rebuttal.

That’s why I sent it via two of his sons. Maybe, just maybe, one of them will read it and try to discuss it with Mitt and/or his advisors. 😉

Geesh! They don’t even bother to try and be discrete about it anymore!
And, that’s a Good thing. Rasmussen polls are junk.
Smh, wow.
He us the only current poll out of about ten,
That has him losing to Robney.
And that poll, will be the one quoted by Republicans, and of course, Anderson Cooper.
That’s perfect, Jovie.
‘And that poll, will be the one quoted by Republicans,’
If they want to glory in a fool’s paradise I say ‘let them’ for nom. They’ll eventually have to confront the Nov. 6 ‘poll’.
‘let them’ for NOW
Oh I totally agree, vc. Let them think they’re winning and pat themselves on the back.
Exactly. Let them live in their FOOLS’ world. All the better for the Planet.

Thank you sooo much japa. If I win I will tell him over and over about TOD and the wonderful safe haven Chips has provided for us.
Wishing you continued good luck, CK! That’s all I can do from the outside looking in.
Governor Lepage better be nice!

Nice seeing my President exit AF1 and being warmly welcomed by officials and locals alike 🙂
Does this woman realize she’s on camera the whole time with her hair fixing and all? 🙂
PBO will rake in about 2 mill on this fundraising swing. The guy’s a money machine.

I’m sure the WH already knew the outcome – even before the arguments began. Do they seem concerned to you?
I wish I was half as optimistic as you are, TBH. This court is so corrupted, it’s downright depressing.
True!
http://tpmdc.talkingpointsmemo.com/2012/03/conservatives-struggle-with-key-anti-obamacare-argument.php?m=1
I would love that, but he may not want the job because he is too physically and mentally active. Also, can a former Prez serve as Supreme Ct. Justice?
Sure. I know Taft did.
‘Also, can a former Prez serve as Supreme Ct. Justice?’
Don’t know, but 4 years or so ago weren’t people wondering ‘can a Black man serve as president’?
We think alike on this, japa.. If we want the Constitution interpreted correctly, PBO is the one I would trust!
The only upside I can see is if they’ll use it to run on Medicare for all. This would actually be brilliant.
And with a BA in Political Science, he learned how to outthink them years ago. Most of them buffoons who do not have the grace to see the big picture.
Are you on lunch already, or just sneaking a peek?
Running madly between skilled nursing care and the residence, doing laundry, paperwork, paying bills, etc, and trying to keep up with you guys!
I just adore this dinner video. Watched it twice already. Those parents’ story about their sick boy brought me to tears.
My endless tahnks, Chip my love.
It’s just lovely BWD, isn’t it? Oozed warmth and affection.
It’s just too bad President Obama can’t connect with people.
🙄
It’s true TrumpDog, that aloof professorial thing is still a real problem, if only he had some of Willard’s warmth.
BWD, you’ve only watched it twice. I think I’m on my sixth watch. 🙂
HAHAHAHA! This is really funny 🙂 Kids do say the darndest things!
That’s the first time I saw that, so cute.
Wow! Look at those faces of JOY as PBO leaves the WH. Now Contrast what you see in those pictures with this: 😆 😆 😆
Love it!!!!! 😆 😆 😆 😆
The man didn’t get the message at the first try? He really is a doofus.
I soo love my President. GM Toders. Collegekay, Just made a couple of donations. Wish you luck.
Great fotos. That pete guy is a genius.
Will the Sheraton Hotel fundraiser be livestreamed as well? If not that’s fine. I will wait to see the U of Vermont speech then.
Well, Santorum did it … and he instantly realized and tried to swallow the n-word and keep going but … he failed …
We all know that they are vile racists … so no surprise, but he’s never going to escape this one …
#PRESSON
Sure hope someone cached it because he definitely spoke it …
#PRESSON
Somebody somewhere caught it, trust me. It’s going viral soon.
It’s all over YouTube Miss Pat, eg:
Wolf Blitzer tells us just how dedicated to his job he is.
Dream on Wolfie.
If I won, I’d pay him to go away.
HAHAHA! You’re not alone. I would too.
🙂 🙂 🙂
If I win, I’m buying CNN and firing them all over there at CNN, specially Wolf and Candy. A gal can dream can’t she?
Well, we knew it was coming. You can’t hide this kind of hate for long.
Rick Santorum calls President Obama a ni*ger:
If this clip wasn’t manipulated, then OMG.
Thank you itgurl!!! Note my comment above – had hoped someone captured it. And, it certainly does not appear to be a hack – the way he catches himself and tries to pivot is just as obvious as the n-word …
#PRESSON
It’s clear he meant to say something else, but I think it’s a stretch to “N—“. We can’t be jumping over a stumble that is not clearer than this. We would hate it if Repubs would do that and it just gives them more fodder for “you’re always crying race”. There is plenty of stuff that they do that we can call foul on. Let’s keep our powder dry. I wouldn’t say ignore it if there were of it to here, it’s just really hard to tell.
kind of agree with you, maryl1. plus, insanetorum is sinking fast and we’ll barely remember his name in a few months, so at this point he’s a distraction from taking on r-money and senate/rep republican candidates in general.
i just watched it again, and maybe need to change my mind. it’s such a huge stumble and reaction from him, and his following words are completely unrelated to the sentence leading up to the big gaffe. it looks like he was really flustered that he almost let that word slip out. of course maybe, like his “blah people” claim, he’s just a big fan of pakistani soap operas, and simply had this one on his mind…
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nigah
and even if he’s irrelevant now, it would be worth tying him and this gaffe to republicans in general since republican voters all over the country are choosing this guy for their #2!
I just listened to that clip of Santorum….yes, he did it. Now we all know how he talks when cameras aren’t on him, and how he talks in private.
Obama’s fault!
HEH!
College Kay, I just donated a wee little bit again through your fundraiser! With TOD backing you are sure to win!
I should have said “with the TOD family backing you, you are sure to win!”

That is an absolutely fantastic idea.
thanks japa. i just sent the idea to a general question/comment message place at OFA, but please feel free to pass the idea on if you happen to have a better connection!
Trust me, I have no connections whatsoever. I am not big and important like Chips is.
i should probably try to tweet it to messina, but i am not sure i could fit that in one tweet!
Go to Barackobama.com the official website. Scroll to the bottom and click on contact us. Scroll down to other concerns and comments, click on that and fill out the form.
Ms Chips, if you don’t mind. I’ll have none of that disrespectul over-familiar-ness.
Yes, ma’am.
That’s better, thank you Mr Japa.
SO, you had a recent birthday too? How come we weren’t informed? Only the ‘elders’ (who admit to their status) should be getting titles around here. [VC rulebook]
It’s my birthday every day VC, which makes me around 36,827. And you never sent me a card, even once. 😦
Okay, I give up, Chips. I was trying to figure out how many years you’ve been around so I could get the appropriate card, but fiddling around with the total number of acknowledged days above isn’t working. Thus, I cannot correct my oversight until I can special order a card for 36,83? days.{Good Lord you’re energetic for a centenarian, though!}
I love that lovingandlaughing, would you pass on the idea to OFA? It’s brilliant.
Joe Scarborough is outraged and heart-sick that the right is trashing Trayvon. Know hope, people.

thanks, there’s so much that I don’t know so any tip helps.
Did I read this right? I haven’t been drinking, honest.
Obamacare Is On Trial. So Is the Supreme Court.
By Jonathan Chait
================================
Before this week, the well-being of tens of millions of Americans was at stake in the lawsuits challenging the Affordable Care Act.
Now something else is at stake, too: The legitimacy of the Supreme Court.
================================

Have you all seen this attack ad by Rove on POTUS’ open mic moment w/ Medvedev.. maybe its already been posted, but just in case: http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/ticket/rove-linked-group-paints-obama-double-agent-russia-142856121.html I did send it to Attack Watch also
Conservatives still hot over hot-mic story
By Steve Benen
================================
I can appreciate why hot-mic stories have an inherent appeal, but the apoplexy is getting a little silly.

thanks LadyHawke 🙂
Rove’s gas prices ads bombed….so will this.
Ah, you and the helicopter pilot, eh?
(Great spot, Dakota!)
Ahhh…what can I say? The Lord gave us eyes to behold!!!
😆 😆 😆 😆 😆 And you’re doing a lot of beholding when Marine One appears??
Oh my, where’d this helicopter come from? Whew, one for each eyeball.
😆 I’m sensing a Dakota v Cookemom war here!
I’m just admiring the hard….er, uh….hardware.
😯
Hey, no need to fight…looks like there’s enough man to go around! LOL! Heck, he’ll probably end up fightin’ over US! Whatchu think, cookemom?
but of course, plus you know what they say, ‘the two of us are da bomb’. Well, they don’t exactly say that, but they should.
This is such common sense. Excuse the link, but when someone writes something as intelligent as this, they deserve credit.
This is an excellent piece to use with on-the-fence indies and even your somewhat sane Republican brother-in-law who might just be persuadable:

Damn. Wrong tweet. I thought I knew how to do this. back to the drawing board
Didn’t know it was Twitter’s special day. Is this one year or two? I know I resisted it for a long time so I guess it’s more than one.
Let’s try this again:
Succes!
Oh so classy:
The Republican governor of Maine won’t be on hand to greet President Obama upon his arrival in Portland later this afternoon. A spokeswoman for Gov. Paul LePage — who has a reputation as a conservative firebrand — tells POLITICO that the governor won’t be in Portland today. During his 2010 campaign for governor, LePage said that his message for President Obama would be, “go to hell.”
there just aren’t words anymore to describe these governors. Maybe there are tooo many words, I could fill a page with the disgust I have for them.
Complete classless scumbags sherijr, that’s all they are.
fully agree Chips.
Who cares if any of those racists tea party conservative Republicans show up, they don’t show the President any respect anyway, so why pretend.
Truth is you either have class or you don’t, and IMO it has very little to do with wealth, or position.
That’s Good News for PBO and everyone around him who will breathe much better AIR!
This deserves a few RTs 🙂

Bloggers Cherry-Pick From Social Media to Cast Trayvon Martin as a Menace
http://thelede.blogs.nytimes.com/2012/03/29/bloggers-cherry-pick-from-social-media-to-cast-trayvon-martin-as-a-menace/?src=tp
Thank you Linda. I’m aware of The Lede post and don’t think that that it is inconsistent with the message in the tweet about Fox. But, perhaps I’m missing something. Appreciate your comment.
#PRESSON
#PRESSON
#PRESSON
Sorry for the double post. When I submitted the first one it didn’t appear. So, I re-wrote it (and expanded it a bit) 🙂
Yes We Can … DO More Together!
Ron Paul said Santorum was a phony, I say he is a lying racists too. Remember he didn’t say black, he said something like blah. Phont lying racists.
yes., he mentions race more than once, at least twice in this speech- he seems VERY consumed with race.. and each time he then points at POTUS as dividing us..
Also I stopped watching after hearing that part at 34:31 (not 34:15 – I wrote that by mistake up top 🙂
This guy is sick sum and I am so glad he will be done after August. I hope to never hear his voice again, maybe he will be in such deep debt that he and his wife will need “Obamacare” for their child and they both will have to grovel in public.
He is sick rantorum. So he will do such vile things.
Of course it wouldn’t be an event if the media couldn’t find a way to drag PBO into it! 🙂

And Imma gonna retire Chipsticks so she can do this full time. Set her up for life!
Heads up everyone:
