heee heee! You were the first person I thought of 🙂 We know Chips is always trying to get you in trouble 🙂 we can also add 2 other naughty guys as well 🙂
Hey Japa21 my naughty naughty friend……Chips now has a better picture of Dr. Jill Biden and numerous ones of FLOTUS so you can lust to your heart’s content. 😉
OMG, FLOTUS looks AMAZING! I love that peplum suit on her. So perfect. And her hair and makeup look great. She and Mrs. Cameron seem like they get along really well.
Chipsticks you are generous beyond belief. I was just going to ask if we could get a closer look at FLOTUS’s peplum suit and hey presto! you posted it before I had completed my thought. Love ya Chica!
I love Jill’s shift dress too. I like the shape of Hillary’s jacket but not a big fan of the pattern. And of course, Joe looks cool as all get out in his sun shades.
Thanks Chips. Forget the two on the left and that stuffy looking guy on the right. What you have left, along with the pictures of FLOTUS have made my daY.
But, but the fucking MSM keep telling us that PBO are going down? they are a bunch of friking
liers. PBO will take any of the GOP crazy guys that are running right now.
Really? Posen is kicking some serious design ass, I’ve loved his style through the years. The cut of the dress hugs FLOTUS’s frame and accentuates her fit body.
I cannot understand why George Lakoff is not on the DNC payroll. It baffles me.
In light of this article and the fact that, no matter how whacky Reagan and W. were, they were extremely influential in changing what America believes and what American political discourse talks about. And yet, Dem’s are doing what Dem’s always do: focus on the whackiness and improbability when our own history over the last 35 years is evidence that conservatives are very effective at changing what Americans believe.
My best friend is Catholic and the mother of two girls. Her 13 year old has been best friends with a girl since they started parochial school together in kindergarten. Her parents are both attorneys. My friend knew they were Republican but they have always been good friends, good people and reasonable to talk to.
Until last weekend. The attorneys’ daughter got accepted to two very good high schools – one a local college prep and one parochial. Her mother said she preferred the parochial school so her daughter’s values won’t be threatened by ‘too much liberal thought’ that would weaken her ‘faith’. When my friend pressed her on where she got this idea, she said it’s “what I’ve been hearing.” And pressed further, it’s what she’s been hearing from Rick Santorum.
This Lakoff article is a must-read and a serious cautionary tale.
And she’s an attorney. Whoa. She graduated from someone’s law school and passed her bar exam. Heavy sigh.
There’s nothing wrong with wanting your child to have a faith-based education but jeez what are you so scared of. She might be exposed to a different thought process.
I have no problem with the faith based education either. My son teaches at one of the best Catholic college prep high schools in Chicago, and although they have a strong Jesuit background, the education is first calss. In fact, that is probably because of the Jesuit background.
But I always wonder about people who are afraid to have their children exposed to other ideas because it might threaten the “faith” they have been trying to inclcate in the children. There is an old saying that a faith unchallenged is not a real faith.
In effect, parents who are concerned about having their children exposed are saying that they are not confident enough in their own teaching of their children that it can withstand other belief systems, which tells me that their faith itself is weak.
I retired from many years of teaching public elementary school. I had four children attending public schools. My late husband and I tried to seek out school districts of diversity for our children. Our thinking was our children need to be able to fit into the real world and learn about people of all kinds and the best way to understand is to be exposed to it. We also felt it was important as parents to be involved in their schooling and activities as well as church functions so we could help steer them. We set up an expectation of getting degrees past high school by having them safe half of whatever they earned with their various jobs for college. They all graduated college and most got advanced degrees or law degrees. It turned out to be a decision we were happy about and we feel they were enriched and became empathetic. It promoted their desires to travel to learn as well.
My brother and his wife on the otherhand looked at public school as a scary environment where things were taught they didn’t believe in and drugs were prevalent. They wanted to protect their kids from anything that might not be what they wanted for their children. I understood what they wanted for their girls but sometimes think you can be too careful and too protective. The fear went from public school to criticism of private schools and then home school became their option. When the girls became college age they both were only given the option of religious college. One became pregnant her first year of college and dropped out. The other didn’t go any longer than one semester before dropping out. It is not necessary for all kids to go to college but to me an advanced degree means doors will not close in their life choices.
My problem (and my friend’s) was not with her wanting the kid to get a faith-based education. My point was the idea that the college prep she was accepted to (in Chicago) was in some way a hotbed of liberal thought, and anything liberal was ‘bad’. She wasn’t afraid of this until Santorum opened his mouth.
My point is that these whackos have an effect on public discourse and what Americans believe. And we have to fight THAT and not just fight to get PBO reelected. The damage has been steady and constant since Reagan. We now have almost two generations of people who do not understand history as I was brought up to understand it. It’s a very dangerous situation.
Good morning all. I just watched the video of Hillary talking about “extremists” telling women what to do. This is the Hillary I love. I don’t know if it’s appropriate for the SOS to be out on the campaign trail, but I hope we see much more of her standing up for women. No one’s voice is more important than Hillary’s when it comes to talking about women.
Try Detox teas. Whole Foods have them for skin and a wide variety of flavors. Two favorites peach and berry. You can also try bedtime if y ou can’t sleep and plain detox if you can’t do number 2 I think or is it number 1?
When I heard him say that last night in his interview with Clark, it sounded like a headline aimed at middle America. Apparently, the newspaper editors thought the same. Good job PBO.
We are being bombarded in Illinois with Romney super-pac ads—–2 at every station break. Romney Will Get Rid of Obamacare! But whoops—–just like everything else with the Willard campaign—–he’s a bit off with that great news. Just saw a tweet that the new Pew poll shows that approvals of the ACA are now higher than disapprovals.
The last poll I saw, a couple days ago, only gave Romney a 4 point lead over Santorum, which surprised me. If Gingrich could be convinced to drop out and endorse Ricky, there could be a major upset.
Bonjour Chips and TODviile,
Enjoy another beautiful day in Obamaland!
Keeping HZ in my prayers and sending desertflower and hubby positive thoughts.
Much love to you all!
“being married to the President.” LOL, your name fits you very well. That truly made my day. As I posted last night, or to sum it up, IT TAKES TWO, BABY. He is glowing brightly today. I guess it’s the love.
Good morning, Chips and everyone. What great pictures. Ms. Chips, you are too fast and furious! Thank you.
Thanks Chips. I’m with ITGurl. I can’t get over the suit too! The detailing on the jacket is insane. The more one studies it, the more one appreciates the wonderful craftsmanship that went into it. The fit of the dress beneath the jacket is wonderful. The cut of the dress is so flattering to her figure. The neckline and arm length allow her to move freely. The color of the suit is amazing. Zac Posen outdid himself and then FLOTUS pairing the outfit with those pop of color shoes. Wow. Just wow. wow. wow. Her fashion sense is top notch. I cannot wait to see what she pulls off for the state dinner. My countdown clock is officially set.
Always whispering in her ear. And she’s always grinniing. Too bad his father and mother didn’t stay together and make some more sons. I would want one for my son-in-law.
G’day TODers, OK …….after looking at FLOTUS and how fit all beautiful she looks, I think I’ll go out and walk for my 30 minutes lunch break …..and damn ou second Lady Jill is one sexy lady.
I have one more thing to say and then I am out of here until later.
You know you are fine when you “stand fine”. FLOTUS is wearing the hell out of that suit! I have been told by my husband on numerous occasions, in public or at home that I have great legs, .and let me tell you when I would walk, I knew his eyes were all on me.
It is a great feeling ladies! I cannot wait to see what dress she will rock tonight.
David Axelrod Pulls Out Of Scheduled Bill Maher Appearance
One of President Obama’s top advisers will not make a scheduled appearance on Bill Maher’s HBO show, reports Keach Hagey:
David Axelrod will not be appearing as a guest on “Real Time with Bill Maher,” despite reports last week that he was scheduled to do the show in the next few weeks.
“He’s not scheduled to go on at this time,” said Ben LaBolt, the press secretary for President Obama’s reelection campaign.
Republicans have called on Obama and his super-PAC, PrioritiesUSA, to distance themselves from Maher after Democrats called on Republicans to distance themselves from Limbaugh. Last week, PrioritiesUSA rejected the comparison between Maher and Limbaugh but distanced itself from the comedian’s language anyway. Maher has donated $1 million to PrioritiesUSA, which the New York Times reports is about half the group’s total haul last month.
Jake Tapper reports that “Axelrod or others from the campaign might appear on the HBO show in the future.”
Wow! This brings back such fond memories. Last year I had the honor of being invited to the welcoming ceremony on the Southlawn for German Chancellor Merkel. The pagentry of this ceremony is phenonmenal. The TV doesn’t do it justice and we are having fantabulous weather here in DC. They couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day!
I am so looking forward to seeing our First Couple tonigh.
If there is any doubt for anyone that the corporate media doesn’t want Americans to see their president in action, this visit should seal that deal. No photos on any front pages of major newspapers. No photos period. I find it just shocking, even after all this time, that our major news outlets would virtually IGNORE this visit from one of our most prominent alies in the world. Just shocking.
Thanks for posting all these great photos, Chips. Without this site, I don’t know what I’d do. I’d just assume, like the rest of the country, that my president is doing NOTHING. It’s truly infuriating. I’ll bet when he got Bin Laden and told the networks he needed air time for an important, historic announcement, they refused to cooperate until he told them what he was announcing. I will never be surprised if that turns out to be the case. How he keeps working day and night for all of us against these odds is absolutely amazing to me. That he’s wildly popular wherever he goes is even more amazing, considering how he’s kept under wraps by our press. I guess cream rises to the top no matter what!
Maybe you should wait until tomorrow to see if any pictures appear. These events are just happening today and should be in the papers tomorrow. Chips is so fast that we are able to see these pictures almost instantaneously, newspapers don’t operate that way. An on-line paper can but if you’re talking about an actual newpaper you won’t see any coverage until tomorrow.

Good west coast morning Chipsticks!
Good west coast morning TOD family 🙂
Looks like a lovely sunny day there in DC
Thanks Chipsticks for the pics!!!
Make it a great day everyone 🙂
Mrs. O. Is beautiful! I can think of a few guys here who will be very happy with these pics 🙂
Such as? Hoping for a better picture of Jill Biden as well.
heee heee! You were the first person I thought of 🙂 We know Chips is always trying to get you in trouble 🙂 we can also add 2 other naughty guys as well 🙂
Oi, Japa is perfectly capable of getting in to trouble all by himself – don’t blame me 😆
Hey Japa21 my naughty naughty friend……Chips now has a better picture of Dr. Jill Biden and numerous ones of FLOTUS so you can lust to your heart’s content. 😉
Have a great day at work!
OMG, FLOTUS looks AMAZING! I love that peplum suit on her. So perfect. And her hair and makeup look great. She and Mrs. Cameron seem like they get along really well.
She is always in style and starts/follows trends. Peplum is hot hot HOT right now & our FLOTUS is leading the trend. Love it.
Chipsticks you are generous beyond belief. I was just going to ask if we could get a closer look at FLOTUS’s peplum suit and hey presto! you posted it before I had completed my thought. Love ya Chica!
You know UT, Michelle is almost as stylish as me. 😕
Hahahahahahaha….Thanks for the laugh Chips. 😆
Amusing—- trying to stifle naughty thoughts— Hillary photo.
but…but….Ricky won the Biblee ( chastity ) belt last night…..oops…I mean the women’s vote.
oops…. Bible….( ruined my own snark ) :o(
Actually, I kinda *like* “Biblee”…. no offense to anyone meant, of course! 🙂
But, but the fucking MSM keep telling us that PBO are going down? they are a bunch of friking
liers. PBO will take any of the GOP crazy guys that are running right now.
Their big fat Lying traitorous a$$es want to make it a horse race. I hope in my lifetime the M$M goes out of business. They better hurry up.
I really need to find out who designed that white suit because I need it in my life.
Eventually the Mrs.O site will give you the details,(she is a little slow) but Michelle is totally WERQING it in that beautiful suit.
Zac Posen.
Really? Posen is kicking some serious design ass, I’ve loved his style through the years. The cut of the dress hugs FLOTUS’s frame and accentuates her fit body.
This is a great silhouette for her frame, just fabulous.
This suit is extremely flattering on her figure.
This is a very important must-read:

“There is an old saying that a faith unchallenged is not a real faith.”
This makes perfect sense. I don’t have strong faith, I wish I did sometimes because it really can be uplifting.
I retired from many years of teaching public elementary school. I had four children attending public schools. My late husband and I tried to seek out school districts of diversity for our children. Our thinking was our children need to be able to fit into the real world and learn about people of all kinds and the best way to understand is to be exposed to it. I suspect she was afraid of it and Rick Santorum just gave voice to that fear and gave her permission to express it herself.
No Sasha or Malia this time? I’m sure they have to be learning about the revolutionary war in school.
Michelle doesn’t allow them to miss school often.
Good morning all. I just watched the video of Hillary talking about “extremists” telling women what to do. This is the Hillary I love. I don’t think SOS are allowed to campaign.
Maybe she can make random statements from her office or when the press is around.
WOW Chips this is fantastic!!
Hey Everybody!
Gotta go to a meeting
I want my skin to glow like Mrs O. Does anyone know what her beauty regimens are?
Being married to the President 🙂
Lol, that’s a good one.
I love this answer in and of itself, but also because it gives me an excuse for my non-glowing skin. 😉
cocoa butter……. works both ways.———-
Honestly? Any particular brand?
She has a makeup artist helping—–that and all that healthful eating and exercise.
Try shea butter.
Try Detox teas. Whole Foods have them for skin and a wide variety of flavors. Two favorites peach and berry. You can also try bedtime if y ou can’t sleep and plain detox if you can’t do number 2 I think or is it number 1?
Hey Chip—-front page Dayton News

Excellent, thank you LOL, just added it to the morning post, you’re a star 😉
When I heard him say that last night in his interview with Clark, it sounded like a headline aimed at middle America. Apparently, the newspaper editors thought the same. Good job PBO.
Can’t wait to see all the sights of tonight’s state dinner!
He is so stupid he didn’t even notice. He has the worse campaign people evahhhh!!!
😆 😆 😆
We are being bombarded in Illinois with Romney super-pac ads—–2 at every station break. Romney Will Get Rid of Obamacare! But whoops—–just like everything else with the Willard campaign—–he’s a bit off with that great news. Just saw a tweet that the new Pew poll shows that approvals of the ACA are now higher than disapprovals.
Someone needs to remind Mittens that Illinois is Obama country.
There are plenty of Republicans in IL, as soon as you get out of Chicago.
The last poll I saw, a couple days ago, only gave Romney a 4 point lead over Santorum, which surprised me. If Gingrich could be convinced to drop out and endorse Ricky, there could be a major upset.
I bet Robney’s crying in his cheesy grits this morning since Prime Minster Cameron won’t meet with him.
Did Willard request a meeting? If he did he would seem to be inappropriate to do so on a state visit.
I bet he did. Trying to ride on the Presiden’ts coat tail. Epic fail..
Bonjour Chips and TODviile,
Enjoy another beautiful day in Obamaland!
Keeping HZ in my prayers and sending desertflower and hubby positive thoughts.
Much love to you all!

Just tweeted this poll to Nate Silver, Obama up by 12 over Romney in Pew Poll

I want POTUS to be ahead by 12 points Nov. 6. That I will leap for joy over.
I’m sorry, but I just can’t get over that suit! From the neckline, to the detailing on the jacket, to the fit, to the color. I love it!
Here’s a video clip itgurl_29 – you need to get that suit, soon!!
She is simply gorgeous and he’s not bad on the eyes either 😉
+ 1,000,000,000,000!!
Thanks Chips. I’m with ITGurl. I can’t get over the suit too! The detailing on the jacket is insane. The more one studies it, the more one appreciates the wonderful craftsmanship that went into it. Always whispering in her ear. And she’s always grinniing. Too bad his father and mother didn’t stay together and make some more sons. I would want one for my son-in-law.
lolol
utaustinliberal, you sound like you could be a designer or fashion expert. Are you? You sure seem to know your stuff.
Thanks! Love it!
It may be one of the most flattering outfits she has ever worn. It accentuates her figure perfectly.
Mom always use to say if you got it, then flaunt it. I know darn well if I had you better believe I would. FLOTUS looks goooooooooood.
POTUS is looking handsome. I don’t want to leave him out.
LDS, FLOTUS is wearing the hell out of that suit. I bet POTUS told her that too.
Where was Bo? I hope he did not feel left out.
Here ya go folks:
Thanks Nin!
I’m so busy at work but I plan to sneak a peek at this later.

Love your last sentence. Rest assured hardly anyone bother with MSM media aymore. My teevee is off now…will watch Rev. Al later.

FLOTUS LOOK FABULOUS
No rikyrah, FLOTUS looks FA-BU-LOUS. 🙂
thanks so much for the video, I’d missed it live.. and I really enjoy the pomp & circumstance… 🙂
