Twitter is on FIRE to take this slob down. At this rate practically every sponsor he has will be gone by tomorrow morning (I hope). Twitter is even more fierce than they were with the Susan G Komen fiasco.

So what do you all think will happen? I read that he owns that show and is essentially his own boss.

I don’t know what the endgame is, Donna — but I just feel that finally, FINALLY, this asshole has made himself into a pariah. May he go the way of the Beckster — branded commercially untouchable by their own cowardly derangement.

Bless Ms. Fluke — she is so brave and she didn’t deserve this bullshit…but if the contrast of that pile of excrement with a mic calling Ms. Fluke (and by extension, millions of women) a slut vs. a man of integrity and compassion checking on Ms. Fluke’s well-being is what comes out of this — then perhaps it was worth it after all.

I only wish that was true. But the silence of the Republic party and their limp candidates speaks volumes.

David Bender was filling in for Stephanie Miller this week and he had the best answer for a caller who asked how to win arguments against the wingnuts. Bender said that it would be impossible to get through. The answer is to OVERWHELM THEM. There are more of us. All we have to do is VOTE. There is no other signal more effective than that.

Here is a little tidbit to store away.

Radio Ratings……Arbitron counts listeners in 15 minute blocks…so if a person listens for 1 hour…that is counted at 4. So Rush’s listeners are inflated by that amount.

The GOP leadership blows it again

    ===========================

So now come the updates after all: John Boehner “obviously believes the use of those words was inappropriate,” emails a Boehner spokesman; and Eric Cantor, also through a spokesman, says “It’s not language the majority leader would condone.”

    Goodness, how scathing.

When did “inappropriate” effectively become a euphemism for “ho-hum”? And if the majority leader would choose not to “condone” Limbaugh’s language, why can he not just condemn it?

Obama Backs GOP Into Limbaugh-Shaped Corner

With one phone call, President Obama has forced the Republican candidates for president into a Sophie’s Choice with potentially far-reaching implications: Do they stand up to Rush Limbaugh, who made divisive comments about a law student this week, or do they stand up for a highly influential conservative leader who’s embarrassed the Republicans who’ve crossed him in the past…

isn’t it amazing, in 2012, that it takes courage for any candidate to be supportive of women? we’re half the voters–and all their mothers! we need to flip this around: you better support women, because if you don’t , you’ll have to face our wrath. remember when mom got reeeal mad? it’ll be like that, but all over your career, instead of your skinny behind.

Do you remember when Limbaugh was in trouble for doctor shopping for prescription drugs. He left for a few months because of that and to me he was in semi-denial about it. He has delusions of grandeur and is the ultimate narcissist. What’s he gonna do now? This was a scandalous verbal attack on not only just one woman but women in general. Uh oh, Clintonites heads will explode (I’m looking at you AmericaBlog). Maybe someone should send this link to Rachel Maddow. A number of times Frank Rick is more fauxgressive than not , but I agree with this part of the article:

    Whitewashing Gay History
Liberals applaud themselves for championing gay marriage. But there are ghosts at the weddings.

…[DOMA] was strictly a right-wing political ploy cooked up for the year of Clinton’s re-election campaign. It had no other justification. In the spring of 1996, same-sex marriage wasn’t legal anywhere in the country or a top-tier cause for many gay leaders; it was solely in play in a slow-moving court case in Hawaii. But fear and demonization of gay men was off the charts: In 1995, a record 50,877 Americans with AIDS died—a one-year count rivaling the 58,000 Americans lost in the entire Vietnam War. The Christian Coalition, under the Machiavellian guidance of the yet-to-be-disgraced Ralph Reed, saw an opening to exploit homophobia to galvanize a Republican base unenthusiastic about Bob Dole…

In a consummate display of bad taste, Clinton announced that he would sign DOMA that spring just two days after the Supreme Court, in a rare national victory for gay rights, struck down a Colorado constitutional amendment that had barred anti-discrimination laws benefiting gay men and lesbians. In the months to come, Clinton’s stand on DOMA gave political permission to many nominally liberal Democrats to join Rick Santorum, Jesse Helms, and Larry Craig in voting for the bill that September—among them Charles Schumer (then in the House) and the senators Joe Biden, Tom Harkin, Frank Lautenberg, Patrick Leahy, Joe Lieberman, Carl Levin, Barbara Mikulski, Patty Murray, and Harry Reid. Only fourteen senators, also Democrats, had the courage to vote against it…

Where did Rachel find that hideous chart that had Clinton more progressive than PBO? In what universe? And no, his lying campaign rhetoric bore no resemblance to how he governed. PBO has had to spend half this term trying to undo Clinton damage. More progressive,my ass.

#RushLimbaugh stepped into a real #SlutStorm this time. He will NOT recover. ‘NewMedia’ has changed the political landscape. #MSMPundits continue to rely on ‘conventional wisdom’ for their ‘analysis (B***S***’)’, and they have FAILED to recognize the anacronistic nature of their predictions. They never understood the #ObamaRevolution. They continue to compare his political strategies to those of ‘Old School’ politicians of the past, and they are almost always WRONG. They impune his motives, and assign ‘luck’ to his victories against the Opposition (Dems & Repugs) This pretense that any #GOPFail nomination will have a chance against our President is pathetic, but they can’t seem to back out of it. #BarackHusseinObama will win by a landslide. This is not false bravado. It is the reality facing a dying ‘Political Party’, whose adherents, and those who profit from it, refuse to acknowledge.

    #WeAlreadyHaveAPresidentForTheFuthure who will support us against #GOPWarOnWomen, #GOPWarOnChildren, #GOPWarOnImmigrants, #GOPWarOnIslam, #GOPWarOnPeopleOfColor, #GOPWarOnEducation, #GOPWarOnScience, #GOPWarOnGays, #GOPWarOnUnions, #GOPWarOnGovernmentWorkers, #GOPWarOnLiberals, #GOPWarOnTruth, #GOPWarOnDemocracy, #GOPWarOnPOTUSandFLOTUS.

What is even more absurd to me is that the reporter, on a so called progressive blog, deduced that what Rick Santorum said was a denunciation of Rush Limbaugh. I regretted clicking on that link because for me TPM, like the HuffPost, is always mushy when it comes to reporting on Republicans. The only time TPM is hard hitting and critical is when it’s attacking President Obama. How any reporter, with minimum intelligence, could have taken what Santorum said as a criticism of Rush Limbaugh’s despicable attacks on young woman trying to fight for women’s health is totally beyond me. I am sorry but that TPM article was pure mush!

I have a deep respect and admiration for this man that I don’t think I will feel for a very, very long time in politics or in the public arena period. He’s warm, empathetic, intelligent, kind, and many more (I could go on forever). I just don’t feel that way about anyone. When people compare him to Bill Clinton and JFK and say he’s can’t connect with people I shake my head in utter disbelief. I could never imagine imagine Clinton making this phone call (or even Kennedy) and if he did I would question the sincerity of it. Women were objects to them; PBO respects and values women like no other President we’ve ever had. PBO could have made a statement through Carney but to call her personally truly says something about his character and you can tell it touched Fluke deeply. I’m sure she’ll remember this when she’s old and gray.

Offhand I cannot think of a time when I have seen our President (in action) when I haven’t had the same reaction! HE ALWAYS, ALWAYS MAKES ME PROUD! Of course the pride sometimes manifests itself in a smile, or in laughter which lights up my insides, or in teary-eyed-ness that touches something quiet deep inside of me. And even in tears there is a feeling of joy and rightness and GOOD in seeing this LEADER, this CAREGIVER in action! 😆 😆

It is a wonderful thought to reflect that in 2008 the majority of voters in America was wise enough to make the best choice for the US and the world! And an even more uplifting thought that they’ll do it again in November, because there. is. no. other. choice!

Just today, I was in heated argument with a person who calls himself a progressive who was claiming that the President is “bought and paid for” by the corporations and rich people. What kind of mealy mouthed comment is that coming from Mitt Romney”? “It’s not the language I would have used”. That’s pathetic. He is so beholden and terrified by the radical right that he can’t even show outrage at the disgusting comments from Rush Limbaugh. As Karen Finney said tonight, Romney is a coward.

I’m sure Romney means that instead of calling Sandra Fluke a “prostitute and slut” he would have kindly called her a “trollop or tramp.” Or maybe he would have used French to kindly insult her. Maybe compassionately called her a “pute et salope.” Romney bangs the drums for going to war in North Korea, China, and Iran yet he’s too cowardly to castigate Limbaugh and his vitriolic statement. This is yet another example that shows Romney will bend whichever way the wind blows. He’ll pander to Limbaugh so that he can get one more racist and misogynistic vote. He’s a spineless coward. He’s a pig, and he’s a cretin.

Where is the ‘Christian’ when someone makes deplorable attacks on a young woman? How can anyone call themselves a ‘Christian’ and not stand up immediately and state that NO WOMAN should ever be spoke about in the disposable terms spewed by that hateful excuse of human flesh. There is no ‘Christian’ in the lack of willingness to stand up for Ms Fluke.

Washington, D.C.— As part of President Obama’s all-out, all-of-the-above approach to developing every domestic energy resource, Energy Secretary Steven Chu today announced the start of an ambitious initiative to capture the potential of wind energy off American coasts.  As part of a planned six-year $180 million initiative, an initial $20 million will be available this year as the first step in supporting up to four innovative offshore wind energy installations across the United States. These offshore wind projects will accelerate the deployment of breakthrough wind power technologies that will help diversify our nation’s energy portfolio, promote economic development and launch a new industry here in America.

“Developing all of our nation’s vast energy resources is an important part of President Obama’s blueprint for an American economy that uses all of America’s energy resources,” said Secretary Chu. “The new offshore wind energy initiative announced today will help to catalyze the development of offshore wind in America, supporting U.S. innovators as they seek to design and demonstrate next generation wind energy technologies.  These investments are critical to ensuring that America remains competitive in this growing global industry that can drive new manufacturing, construction, installation and operation jobs across the country.”

So according to Ed FoxNews has their fembots all over the net and over twitter to disparage Sandra Fluke. These witches should be fuckin’ ashamed of themselves and any fuckin’ daughters or nieces or sisters they have.

They are a disgrace. Mittens and his “Not the language I’d used” what the fuck language would the guv’nor use?

And of course CNN with their usual all sides do 2 to 1 republican with mary matalin and ari fleisher. Mary Matalin defeding Rushbo.

    WTF. This is really maddening.

Anderson Cooper should be ashamed of the segment he just had on CNN where he let both repub panel member just lie their fuckin’ faces off and let Ari Fleisher trying to compare Arianna Huffington to Rush fuckin’ Limbaugh.

        😆

Sad, but true. Many have been told for so long who and what they are, what they can and can’t do, that they no longer even recognize when they are being insulted. Their impersonation has become their reality. If father and hubby say it’s so, it’s so. Sad.

Anderson Cooper is another disappointment on TeaNN. Ari Fleisher trying to compare Ms. Huff to Rush, what is the point of that? Ms. Huff is not a Democrat. How could any woman defend what Rush said about Ms. Fluke? Anything I heard Ms. Fluke say she was not talking about the use of contraception concerning sex, it was about a friend of hers health, is what she was discussing. And were were James Carville to tell his stupid wife to stay out of this?
