I have said this before but we need him to win SO badly. The Republicans are absolutely crazy. He is the only thing that stands between us and their craziness. They have been living in their alternate Fox/Rush inspired reality for too long. They honestly believe the shit they spew. They honestly believe their Ayn Rand utopia is feasible. They honestly believe their neocon “change the world to our way by force” nonsense is workable. They are not tethered in reality.
This year has been hard, but I think when all is said and done, the president has had to spend this year being the guardian, of sorts, for us…guarding us, and mitigating the damage from, the utter lunacy of the Republicans.

His speeches are always about the reality of what is, our common values/dreams, and how to work together to reach for what should be. The GOP rhetoric is so empty and their record dismal. The more he gets out and the more we organize, we will be able to overcome their lies, hate and the media’s shilling for the GOP. He’s right about this election: the choice is even more stark than in the previous elections.
