evening all

Rahm Emanuel’s speech at the Iowa Democratic Party Jefferson-Jackson dinner in Des Moines tonight will be live on C-Span at 8:30 ET – here

A couple more videos from Australia posted on the WH YouTube channel today:

OFA: Yesterday, four Republicans in the New Hampshire State House allowed a hearing requested by Orly Taitz, the notorious dentist-lawyer-birther who wants President Obama officially removed from the state’s primary ballot.

So in honor of conspiracy theorists everywhere, we’re re-releasing the campaign’s limited-edition “Made in the USA” mugs.

There’s clearly nothing we can do to satisfy this crowd – or anyone else who insists on wasting time and energy on nonsense like this.

But when it starts to make your head hurt, I’ve found the best remedy is to have some tea in my “Made in the USA” mug.

Works like a charm. I recommend Earl Grey.

Tommy Christopher (Mediaite): Michael Moore Goes The Full Wingnut On President Obama Over Occupy ‘Crackdown’

This week began with a series of raids on Occupy movement encampments across the country … Filmmaker Michael Moore responded by accusing President Obama, via Twitter, of giving the “green light” for the raids. It’s just the latest in a series of unhinged attacks, on the President, by Moore….

…. At the time he made the accusation, there was absolutely no evidence to support it … The whole thing is so tin-foil ridiculous….What’s truly mystifying, though, is Michael Moore’s desperation to attack President Obama …. it’s rare that a liberal outpaces the most rabid of right-wing fabricators to do so.

…. this is just the culmination of a series of unhinged anti-Obama attacks by Moore … Perhaps most tellingly, though, he appeared on The View in September to express his “disappointment” with President Obama by saying, “Bill Maher had a good answer when he said that Obama was half white and half black. He said I went to the polls and I voted for the black guy and what we got was the white guy.”

…. A blogger at AngryBlackLady.com notes Moore’s curious obsession with “the white vote” in a talk he gave earlier this month. He told the crowd, “The only reason Obama won was because of 18 to 29 year olds,” and went on to explain that this was the only age group in which a majority of whites voted for Barack Obama….

….. It’s time that Michael Moore, and some of the others who are disillusioned with President Obama, think about what role his race plays in the ways in which they criticize him.

Half the time I felt like I was hallucinating. It was very enlightening to watch. Just confirmed once again how batshit crazy the lot of them are. Live blogging the debate on twitter was H-I-L-A-R-I-O-U-S. Funny, funny tweets. Almost choked from laughter. Until the next freak show, which I believe will be on CNN aka teabagger central.

          • November 19, 2011 at 7:44 pm

Funny as all get up. To boot, Cain plans to overturn Supreme Court decision. Go figure. These people must go back to their hotel rooms and laugh at themselves, too. They know they’re a bunch of jokers.

Barack Obama Quote O’ The Day

The time has come for a president who will be honest about the choices and the challenges we face, who will listen to you and learn from you even when we disagree, who won’t just tell you what you want to hear but what you need to know.

Have a great evening, everyone! 😛

Can’t wait for Rahm Emanuel’s speech. I need the brain bleach. I sent him a good luck tweet. After he gives his speech expounding on the accomplishments of President Obama, he’ll be on This Week with Christiane Amanpour and it’ll be fun to watch because he won’t let her peddle media BS about PBO.

  9. November 19, 2011 at 7:45 pm

Thanks, Chips, for this place of refuge. Just tried to watch the Family Forum with all those fake family values people. And, I’m still burning over the Chris Matthews interview with Alex Witt this morning and just read Joy Reid’s defense of Tweety. I’m mentally exhausted.

Anyway, since I’ve missed most of the comments (400+ from the last thread) and only dropping in to catch up with the President (MSM won’t give his trips airtime) let me just say, Happy Birthday to the birthday TODers.

BTW, did you all see this? Lobbyists for American Bankers Assoc., two of whom are former Boehner aides, send memo with plan to discredit #OWS. http://upwithchrishayes.msnbc.msn.com/

      • November 19, 2011 at 8:16 pm

Christi, this was brilliant. I’m quoting from it in a letter to Phil Griffin at MSNBC and Comcast my cable carrier who now owns this travesty of a cable network. I hope we all take time to write MSNBC and any sponsors we can find.

Remember when Matthews insulted Hillary during the primaries and the network had to reprimand him? He was forced to apologize. Well, doesn’t our first lady deserve at least that?

I’m also sending this article to the women’s orgs that support the president, too. We cannot allow Matthews to get away with this.

And I will NEVER EVER watch his spitfest again.

Hi Christi, I tweeted this to @hardball_chris. I knew a very long time when he was apopletic and popping a vein about clinton, he was NOT a friend to the Democratic party NO matter how he framed himself. It was mentioned earlier that WE keep watching him hoping he will have a good day and take someone to task or say something positive but he’s like the abusive boyfriend that knocks your friends, your thoughts and every now and then throws a compliment to keep us accepting his toxic behavior in hopes he will give us another compliment. His job is to get ratings on his OPINIONS and when they don’t coincide with FACTS, we should not be enablers of his kind of poisonist behavior. It’s been said he has a racist side, I can see that and he is affected by his “white superiority” mindset that PBO has not invited him to WH parties or behaved in a manner he finds acceptable or hasn’t schmoozed enough. WHEN did the most intelligent, compassionate, hardest working president guided by his “North Star” need to become a Minstrel Show to be acceptable. These are CM’s issues not the president and I, for one, have no patience or tolerance for his outright lies, deep seated anger and toxic show. Turn him off, quit subjecting ourselves to the “every now and then he gets it right” mess. His paymasters have given him and condoned his talking points, he hasn’t been reprimanded by head honchos yet so he knows what he is doing and why he is doing it. Sometimes, he goes off script as in his comments about the First Lady but was he called out by is bosses for taking it to another level? Nope! What he and all the right and left liars have not been able to accept (and it drives them to outlandish behaviors) is President Hussein Obama is the 44th president and will be the 45th president and the future will be kind to him and there is absolutely NOTHING they can do about it. They are to be ignored for the hot mess they have become. Negative attention is still attention.

I could be wrong but I feel that the right wingers who have been so arrogant throughout Prez Obama’s term are feeling somewhat politically disoriented during the last few weeks as the stupidity of their candidates is continously mocked and rejection of their extreme policies is put on display and trickle-down is being challenged across the nation

Haven’t been able to follow things too closely recently, but did the CBS/Scott Pelley “debate” of Repubs actually have Teebagger Senators ask the candidates the leading, stage-managed questions?!? If true, I almost can’t believe it. The Repub takeover of all the MegaMedia is officially complete if that’s what Scott “Democrat Party” Pelley allowed to happen.

Here’s an epic takedown of the two-time Bush voting, Iraq war supporting, John Boehner lovin’ Chris Matthews – http://politicsanonymous.com/?p=5671

He hated and railed against Clinton while Clinton was in office, joked with Boehner in 2006 while trashing Hillary’s 2006 Senate campaign…

    • November 19, 2011 at 8:18 pm

Matthews is a phony. He’s a racist republican. That’s why he was always talking about can Obama win whites, can he win the Penn blue collar workers. He’s pathetic and needs to be stopped from polluting the cable waves with his hatred of our President.

      • 76 hopefruit2
        November 19, 2011 at 8:41 pm

There are many of those republican media hacks who jumped on the “liberal” bandwagon in the late 00’s when it was profitable and politically convenient to do so. Their true colors are now coming out – and they are frustrated because they were truly thinking and/or hoping that PBO would have self-imploded or be thoroughly dumped by now. Despite their best efforts to see that happen it hasn’t happened, and if anything, it’s the GOP that seems to be imploding and flailing.

The author of the link you’ve provided, saintroscoe, is Marion Watts.
The author of the exact same article at HoosLeft is by Flaming Emilia whose link has also been posted here.
Ergo, Marion Watts and Flaming Emilia are the same;-)

She’s dynamite, prolific and gets around! All good.

She’s a white southerner who not only calls out dogwhistling, but she also writes that the Democratic party should aggressively fight for the southern vote. She cites Alan Jackson, Toby Keith, and George Clooney as good, popular Democratic southerners who should be called upon by the DNC chair to actively campaign for the Democratic party in the south. She warns against giving-in to an elitist coastal write-off of the so-called redneck vote.

The more hateful the more illiterate. Such a wasteful emotion. No concrete words or ideas will flow from hearts and minds consumed with hate. Hate is the cover, and this is what the GOP has become. This is why they always say to President Obama you go first with your plans so that we can copy your paper. This is why they adopted the memo of no, too illiterate to formulate an idea. This is why they like to sign pledges and to be led around by their nose. Just plan ole dumb, dumb.

Oh, good to know that Chipsticks could take some time and be in a space to give goodness to the beautiful spirit that is in the core of that beautiful being of hers.

Yes, I am guilty of a little rant, but I hope and pray that I willl NEVER disrespect Chipsticks’s space here and all that she does to make her beautiful space such a wonderful haven for all of us. I just could not live with myself, if that would ever happen, Chipsticks and TOD family. So PLEASE let me know when I am out of place. I really do mean this from the depths of my being. I take this space as an honor and total privilege to be a part of.

Chipsticks works too hard for me or anyone to disrespect it. I hope that I will NEVER do that to you, Chipsticks. I love this place so very much, and I do not hurt anyone or anything that I love. I am not a hurting person, but I do have a presence about me that may come on strong in certain situations where I feel others have gone too far when it comes to justice and complete fairness. It runs in my core being and my family .

I love you, Chipsticks so much and I thank you for bringing us back to a sweetness within this beautiful haven. Thanks so much.HZ

Anyone think Rahm is an interesting choice? I checked, and for the last 10 JJ dins, all but Al Franken have been future presidential candidates. Rahm adamantly denies that he has any intention of ever seeking the presidency, which he did again this week when questioned by Chgo reporters. I thought maybe someone like Martin O’Malley would be the one, as it is supposed to be sortof a stepping stone to a future candidacy. Anyhoo—-just wondered what others thought. Think Rahm will be great. Have read some excerpts from his speech, and I think it’s going to be a good one.

    • November 19, 2011 at 9:08 pm

I didn’t know that history – thanks dotster.. as to Rahm, I don’t follow him close enough to know his plans.. but I too am a Martin O’Malley fan.. 2016 should be an interesting.. and hopefully strong field of candidates.

I appreciate his support of President Obama over the years, but I’m not a big fan of Rahm in general. I don’t see him as much of a leader nationally, and that temper…yeesh. Martin O’Malley and Elizabeth Warren are our two best options so far in my opinion. True leaders in the fullest sense and can win nationally.

…. The whole thing is so tin-foil ridiculous….What’s truly mystifying, though, is Michael Moore’s desperation to attack President Obama …. it’s rare that a liberal outpaces the most rabid of right-wing fabricators to do so.

…. this is just the culmination of a series of unhinged anti-Obama attacks by Moore … Perhaps most tellingly, though, he appeared on The View in September to express his “disappointment” with President Obama by saying, “Bill Maher had a good answer when he said that Obama was half white and half black. He said I went to the polls and I voted for the black guy and what we got was the white guy.”

What I remember from last time was the long wait for Obama, and Nancy Pelosi, even though she had to introduce the others, gave away her true feelings about who she was supporting when she introduced him. And the place was raucous, rockin’. I remember the Obama supporters chanting as they marched down the street to the rally.

    • November 19, 2011 at 9:59 pm

Dotster, that was a tense evening. When PBO showed up with all his supporters, it was exhilarating. As I watched Nancy Smash introduce each candidate, I held my breath. But sure enough, when she introduced PBO, you couldn’t help but feel her warmth for him. THOSE were amazing days.

I thought it was very interesting that Rahm went mainly after Romney. They’re really seem to be sure that he’ll be the nominee.

Brilliant speech by the little guy.

    • November 19, 2011 at 10:33 pm

Yep. Romney can run, but he can’t hide. He’s going to have to come out and face the music soon.

    • November 19, 2011 at 10:38 pm

In all likelihood he will be, but with Mitt skipping out of Iowa debate tonight, Dems can help Iowa find somebody other than Mitt. That’s very important if there is any chance at beating Mitt in the primaries. If Mitt wins Iowa than he skates to an early primary win, and NH might go hard for Huntsman given their contrarian nature and not supporting Iowa winner.

      • November 19, 2011 at 10:47 pm

In all likelihood, mitt loses Iowa, then wins NH, then wins Nevada, and then loses south Carolina.
        Sound familiar?
It should, it is what happened to Hillary.

        • November 19, 2011 at 10:51 pm

Florida will be before Nevada, which makes Nv basically useless. Whoever wins Florida will probably win the primary.

Isn’t it the talk that Romney knows he can’t win in Iowa because of the Evangelical Christians who vote big during primaries, but is pretty sure he’ll win in New Hampshire?

Not that any of them should win anything.

            • 221 COS
              November 19, 2011 at 11:07 pm

Doesn’t Romney live in New Hampshire? Was Perry at the debate? TPM did not mention him?

            • November 20, 2011 at 10:51 am

Yeah, but he’s polling in a 4-way tie in Iowa at the moment. Also he should at least make an attempt with the Evangelical voters because he’ll be asking for their vote come the general. If he showed up – even if he got kicked around – I think he’s win begrudging respect from them. SC and Florida have their fair share of Evangelicals as well.

Last night was a “value voters” debate where the candidates spoke about their religious faiths quite a bit – I guess Mitt doesn’t want to put himself in that situation.

      • November 19, 2011 at 10:58 pm

I’m not afraid of him at all. Once it’s one-on-one against PBO, he won’t be able to run away from himself like he’s doing now with the help of the media.

      • 228 Eleroy
        November 20, 2011 at 2:23 am

How can Iowa go for Huntsman when he is NOT polling directly below Romney!!!

Newt Gingrich is polling better than Huntsman in N.H so why would they skip from Romney to little Jon SR???

        • November 20, 2011 at 10:55 am

Iowa won’t go Huntsman, but Mitt is basically in a four way tie there and Iowa voters are in a pickle where they might vote Romney because they want to stay relevant in the process. If they vote for one of the freaks and geeks that go nowhere after Iowa it makes their caucus look useless and past it’s time of any importance.

In NH they’d skip from Romney to Huntsman, over Newt, because Huntsman is going all-in in NH, has been there exclusively for months now and won’t leave before the primary and he’s most like Romney. So if Romney voters say “We can’t give it to Romney, he just won Iowa, they could go to the next best thing (in their eyes) to Mitt and that would be Huntsman. Huntsman is polling around 10% in NH.

        November 19, 2011 at 11:59 pm

The media is definitely on Huntsman’s side. I have the feeling though that many power brokers in the GOP prefer Romney because he would be easier to control if he was elected.

StR, I’m not sure Huntsman is only working for 2016. I think he really wants it. Can he pull it off ? Things are so fluid right now that everything could happen.

          November 20, 2011 at 5:06 am

And Huntsman wouldn’t be controlled even more…have you heard him pandering in gibberish as he licks his lips…

          You are so funny…

I think too many people have fallen for the media packaged version of Huntsman…

It was just a few short weeks ago that a similarly touted inevitable Rick Perry was been pushed by the very same people in the media…

That is until he actually showed up and started climbing in the polls…

Jon Huntsman has said or done absolutely nothing that remotely makes sense and is actually more a figment of the imagination of those who are looking for what looks embarrassingly like a poor imitation of President Obama cast in white…

Jon Huntsman is so shallow and has nothing to offer and I actually wish he would get some sort of boost in the polls so that he actually gets the full inspection that will expose him as nothing more than a lemon all shinied up that won’t even get through the driveway before it completely sputters out…

        • November 20, 2011 at 11:00 am

His major problem is that he and Romney are vying for the same voters and Mitt is the established name with the experienced campaign and long donor list. For Huntsman to catch fire he needs Romney voters to leave Mitt because Huntsman is not going to get any of the not-Romney voters, as he basically is Romney.

      • November 20, 2011 at 12:54 am

        Huntsman wasn’t invited.

Ewww. I should not say such a snarky thing, but it appears to be the fright night portion of C-Span.

First, Scott Brown’s wife, about whom I am not the least bit impressed. Now, a woman named Callista Gingrich – who’s claim to fame, I guess, is having a husband named Newtie – is on, whom I heard say that “their” main job is getting President Obama out of the White House. Before I muted her, that is.

What goals these people have – just to drag others down. Far reaching? No. For the common good? No. For those less fortunate? No.

I have no pity for them, but they all just cry out for it.

(Normally, as a woman, I wouldn’t mock another woman for her “looks,” but – let’s face it – Callista doesn’t have any.)

(Reuters) – U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said on Friday Syria could slide into civil war but she did not foresee the global community intervening in the same way it did in Libya.

“I think there could be a civil war with a very determined and well-armed and eventually well-financed opposition that is, if not directed by, certainly influenced by defectors from the army,” Clinton told NBC news in an interview in Indonesia, where she was attending a regional summit.

“We’re already seeing that, something that we hate to see because we are in favor of a peaceful protest and a nonviolent opposition,” she said.

I could only read a portion of that. Is he suggesting that only poor children should work?

If he only had a heart.

My grandfather – born in 1885 (gulp) – had to go into the coal mines in Pennsylvania at age 11 to help support his family.

The year my mother, the coal miner’s daughter, passed away – 99 years after his first job – she told me she was still angry with her grandfather for making her dad do that.

That’s what having a heart looks like, Republican dogs. In human years.

Since 70% of the country supports tax hikes (on the rich), I’m curious how Mitt thinks he can win with 30% of the vote. Either they are planning to steal the election, or they will sponsor a third party candidate to try and steal votes from President Obama – neither of which is beneath them.

In her article, she mentions that Ron Paul said “If we were determined, we would have repealed Roe v Wade by now”. How does this jibe with the libertarian way of thinking? He’s fine dismissing Civil Rights and allowing discrimination because it interferes with the rights of private industry to be as racist as possible, but allowing a woman the right to control her own body is a bridge too far? He’s a hypocrite, and the people on the left who follow him are confused idiots who haven’t fully thought through their support.

Dailykos won’t even make it into the footnote of history. Look back at the idiots from FDR’s days. Does anyone know their names? We just know that there were a bunch of idiots who made life difficult for everyone else. Look at the fools who told Lincoln he looked like a monkey – nobody knows their names.

These Dailykos people make a living via being negative and pessimistic. They are pathetic, sad little people who are missing out on an historic presidency that is lifting the whole world up and teaching people of the world to hold their heads up and be self-sustaining.

I still am awed by the wisdom in President Obama’s inauguration speech. This section was addressed to the Muslim world, but is totally applicable for the people seeking to destroy this country – and that includes Dailykos, the PL as a whole, and the GOP: “we seek a new way forward, based on mutual interest and mutual respect. To those leaders around the globe who seek to sow conflict, or blame their society’s ills on the West, know that your people will judge you on what you can build, not what you destroy”.

President Obama has treated everyone with respect and they have treated him with disdain. That smallness reflects badly on them.

Regarding Matthews…What I wish would be the big push back by all of us and all those Americans that have worked with out first Lady. What has our fist lady done? Per Matthews “And Mrs. Obama —…… But what has she done, obesity? How bout connecting with the American people bout being Americans? I don’t think she’s … I don’t think she’s happy. I don’t think they like being in the White House. and the American people can tell that. They don’t seem thrilled at the fact that the American people have selected them as our first family. I don’t sense the gratitude, the happiness level. the thrill of being president. Bill Clinton loved being president every minute and you knew it. … and that’s what the American people like. they like knowing their president’s happy.”
Our fist lady…What has she done!!! Where are all you Americans that have seen, felt first hand what this amazing woman has done, opening the White House to so many, the warmth she brings. Where is the push back? What other first lady has done so much! Is it just me or is this sickening on so many levels.

Another thing,…we don’t deserve our President and our First Lady. The rest of the world can see what so many in America can’t. I am a white woman, I don’t know if Matthews is saying this __hit because of the color of our first families skin, I hope not. How happy was Laura Bush? Did anyone call her out, Pat Nixon? Betty Ford? All happy campers that expressed gratitude for letting them be in the White House! What is the double standard here? Mrs Lincoln, she hated her time in the white house, Lincoln was not Mr happy either, so perhaps they were undeserving too! What could a first lady do that was more “American”? We here at TOD all love our first lady…what can we do?

Here’s a copy of my letter to MSNBC:
A new low was reached today on MSNBC. Professionalism, honesty, fairness and just simple decency were abandoned in an utterly vicious and completely uncalled for attack on the President, the First Lady and the entire family. This is the death of journalism and the beginning of unbridled hate mongering and propaganda. No apology can erase your complicity in stoking the flames of hatred against a good and decent man and his family. You are compelled to live with the consequences.

    • November 20, 2011 at 4:55 am

What really caused pain to my heart (literally …had to take two heart pills to stop what was taking place in my chest) was the audacity to leave out what our First Lady, and Dr. Biden has done to bring to the forefront the need to make our military men and women be recognize as human being who have given us so much all of these years, and now we get a REAL Open and Loving Opportunity to help them adjust to their lives as they return home,. some just to catch a breath and then go back for another duty and another one, and another one.

Have the call from our First Lady as she and Dr. Jill put on their sweats to have some quality time with our military children, families here at home in the Whitehouse and on the Whitehouse lawn, at the sites where I military men and women are serving us. There she works asking Congress and the CIC and Sec. of Veteransto get funds to help Fight for our homeless military men and women;, helping to bring to America’s attention of building a home for military women who need a home until they find one, children having their mom or dad read books to them at night while dad or mom is on duty far away from their children while fighting for our safety oversees.

Going to local schools where children are sitting in classes and the teachers do not now that some of these students have parents who are on duty or have been on multiple duties, or even brought back in a casket to Dover and other home towns all across this countries. Being able to visit the Whitehouse as NEVER before for specially planned activities for military families and their children for holidays and to see their President and First Lady hug them, read to them, and share a big hug like no one but our FLOTUS can give to them. How is that working for our heart, CM?

Having their First Lady and Dr. Jill Bidne plan and take baskets of beautiful gifts to baby showers for our military families. Our First Lady delivering toys for our military children for the holidays, must I go on? No, it hurts too damn hard to do so CM.

How dare you ,CM talk to Us about our beautiful and hard working First Lady working her heart and bottom off to give love, hope, needs, homes, medical help that our military has not seen in years for their families? Dr. Biden taking off to travel with FLOTUS to city to city, state to state to honor our military men and women who have given CM and the likes a safe place to lay their heads each day and night just because of what FLOTUS has worked so hard( and still calling us to do along with POB and VP Biden to do by getting in involve with one of the Most Precious Teams in our country, Our Beloved Military….and CM wants to say our FLOTUS is not doing anything worthwhile, not happy, and all the other lies, Shame on you. Seach your heart tonight and think how that young man or woman who is awaiting the 14th or 20th surgery tonight in some hospital because of putting his/her life on the line for you CM and all of us daily. and our FLOTUS from day one started to bring the awareness to our attention in a manner that has NOT been done by any FLOTUS and Dr. Biden and our POTUS ever.

Tell your lies and hate to these brave men, women, mothers, fathers, grand parents, and those precious children that their FLOTUS has not done anything of good mention to the American people that really counts…And FLOTUS just does NOT talk about it, she gets out there with our military men and women and do what she preaches to us to do.

.YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED CM. Just plain painful to my heart tonight. But I do forgive, because I must move on to help our FLOTUS,and POTUS to continue to call us to do the right things.: But CM, you hurt the hell out of me, when I thought of this one Our Brave Military !!!! (there are so much more that she has done and still is doing) Soon and Very Soon” because of our FLOTUS and Dr. Jill Biden, and POTUS we will see some very precious children see their mom and dads walking into that door of that home. Oh, Lord We Ask for your love and favor tonight AmenHZ

one needs to ask CM these 2 questions:

does the current First Family need to bring their declaration of their happiness to you CM so that you can approve it in your capacity as ……?

why do you think that this President needs to ‘stay up until midinight’ entertaning the current hateful and corrupt members of congress, senate and political class (whose only goal has been to try and destroy him) when he the US and the world are facing so many urgent problems that seek solutions from the POTUS?

something tells me that CM and others are tearing their hair out because this President dedicates some time to his family and he has not had any personal scandal that they can use to trash him – personal decency is not welcome among the current political class

Twenty-four percent of registered Republican voters would support the former speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives if the contest were held now, an increase of 8 percentage points from roughly a week ago, according to the poll, which was conducted on November 18-19.

Just one example of thousands of the pure genius of President Barack Hussein Obama. He developed a strategy, using tried and true techniques for Organizing, to bypass the stranglehold the Billionaires, who pay mental midgets like Matthews have on America, and the industrialized world’s public discourse. They still have some influence on the process, but it’s waning rapidly, thanks to Stanley Ann’s son. President Obama will win no problem, but if we get back back the House and strengthen the Senate, oh boy, people like Tweety Matthews will really become irrelevant fast, since no amount of their lies will overcome the incredible improvements that will happen to the economy and society in general.

The only problem with the Timothy Leary method, when you drop out your voice is lost. When untruth is spoken, and re-spoken and spread, it becomes the “truth” to so many. Just ask the birthers, the Muslim pushers. So if we say nothing, or not respond…well their message go unchallenged..they win and control the dialogue. If we are “the people” where are our voices!? WASHINGTON–The Obama re-election team is looking to capture NASCAR voters and one way is for First Lady Michelle Obama and Jill Biden, wife of the vice president to appear at a big race. On Sunday, the first and second ladies hit southern Florida–Florida a key 2012 state–to pitch their “Joining Forces” initiative to help military families at the Homestead-Miami Speedway.
According to the White House, “Mrs. Obama and Dr. Biden will recognize service members and military families from the local community at a special BBQ lunch prior to the race. Mrs. Obama and Dr. Biden will also invite a military family to join them as they serve as Grand Marshals for the championship race to lead the pre-race ceremony and offer the most famous words in racing: “Gentlemen, start your engines.” “

  92. November 20, 2011 at 5:27 am

Good night and Good Morning chipsticks and TOD family:

I could not sleep tonight no matter how hard I tried to get it together with my sporadic comments and my long phone call to another state where my Best Friend resides.

I knew it was somehing that had been nagging at my heart and I could not let it go, so I prayed, and meditated for a time in the quietness of my home to ask my heart to please release me of the rapid beats that I have no control of. Finally, I began to get some relief. It is a very scary situation when it does occur. I tried to think of what had brought on the attacks, and slowly, but surely, I received my answered through this quiet time alone.

I was hurting inside from taking in the ways and thoughts of my actions in responding to the CM situation throughout the day. It was pain that I had not help to have a channel to release itself. So I go up and prayed and asked for help. I begin to write from my heart what I felt that I needed to get some relief to take the pain away which helps the racing within my chest.

I know that there are misspelling, sentence structures, usuage of words, and punctuation marks needed, but I expressed what I needed to do. What is right for me at my core concerning how I reacted to all of this. I do not regret my comments on Twitter to CM, but I knew the pain and racing were headed for a physical wreck.

So I wrote from my heat the above comments to share. As I wrote, I could feel my heart take a better and peaceful course which I needed before I would lay my head on one of these pillows tonight. It was our Beloved Military and our FLOTUS.

I ask my TOD family to read it with forgiveness of the spelling, and all of the elements a beautiful teacher would read and understand my heart. So for those of you who are the great(and I really do mean that ) please just try to understand my heart and its pain as I was being true to it in the process. Forgive me. It is not sloppy on my part, it is just mistakes that comes with a heart that is so full and must follow its core of what is right within. Thank you. Do not worry, I will be fine. When I trust my inner spirit to be true to real like mother taught me, the rest will take care and heal for the right timing. Good night and Morning TOD Family and our Military Families all over the world. FLOTUS and POTUS and the TOD Family have Not forgotten you in all of this Noise. Love you all back so much.HZ

You have to take care of yourself, HZ. The CM’s of this world are not worth ruining your health or peace of mind over. Trust me, I doubt the President spends much time on these people. There’s too much to do, and these people are not participating in the work. They stand on the sidelines and throw stones, intent on destruction. And when we give them attention, we feed them and keep them alive. They’ve been around for a long time in various forms. And good always overcomes evil – so my sister says.

So, take time to calm yourself, and keep these people and their role in the grand scheme of things in perspective. We all lose it every once in a while, and it’s perfectly understandable. But, save your energy for the real battles to come. The following year will be full of lies and they will only increase in their ferocity. Keep your eyes on the prize.
