      She really is!!!

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Mrs Obama!!! She ROCKS!!!

I do hope the campaign and the White House do not fall for the trap the cunning GOPmedia and their hired mouthpieces have been pushing for.

That is to over-expose and take away some of the magic that Mrs Obama brings.

Familiarity breeds contempt could not better describe any country and their media like it it does America!!!

I hope they use her smartly and avoid removing that very valuable mystique she brings by over-using her!!!

For the MSM to compare Obama FLOTUS to any of the flotus of past is unrealistic , She and
Dr Biden have done so much to help people in need than anybody so what did Laura and Liz Cheney
Did.? other than to send us to WAR.

I’m an Air Force vet and was in the military when I was young in my early 20’s. Reagan was president then. I wish we had PBO back then. Military personnel retired, reservist, and active duty are very fortunate in this era of the Obamas.

That being said Michelle Obama looks magnificent as usually. 😀

Yes. I think Michelle and Jill have been doing great work in this area, and politically speaking, I can’t help but think their good deeds will not go unnoticed; and they may be wrestling some of the support of our service personnel/veterans away from the traditional stranglehold of the Repub Party on this segment of the population. I’ve never understood that anyway. The Repubs always seemed only interested in sending them off to war and only paid lip service to any of their other concerns.

Thanks for sharing Maritza. Be proud of the soldiers in your family. POTUS, FLOTUS, and Jill Biden are bringing respect and dignity back to the military. God Bless them and all the work that they do for our nation’s fighting men and women.

Aww,, FLOTUS is so special. Not just because I find her amazingly beautiful, but because she actually cares and is so loving. It shows any and every time she interacts with people.

Sen. Crapo looks to limit CFTC rules

    By Pete Kasperowicz
Sen. Mike Crapo (R-Ind.) on Wednesday offered an amendment to a Senate spending bill that would prohibit the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) from issuing any new rules under last year’s Wall Street reform law until the agency makes major changes to its rule-making process.

Ben Nelson of Nebraska is probably not going to budge on his vote. I just looked up his states unemployment rate and it is at an unbelievably low rate of 4.2%. No wonder he can care less about the AJA.

Lieberman needs to be run out of town on a rail with unemployement at 9% in CT.

Tester in MT is at 7.8%

I’m going to burn Tester and Lieberman’s phones up tomorrow.

They just don’t care. They won’t even let the bill come up for debate, and probably feel no threat after seeing the cheering last night on the GOP debates when Cain told the unemployed that it’s their own fault that they were impacted by the greed on Wall Street. It’s pretty disgusting.

I’ve sent Lieberman an email and I will send him another one. I don’t think Nelson is a Democrat, he’s a dirty do nothing trader and so is Tester. You have 14 million people out there out of work and do these bastards care. No!

It seems some of the details are being kept under wraps. The truck was only missing for a short time, a few hours on Mon., taken from a Marriott in Richmond and located at a Holiday Inn Express near Richmond airport. There was over $200,000 worth of equipment in there, Obama’s bullet proof podium and teleprompter and presidential seals. What I haven’t seen in any report is if any of the equipment was missing from the found truck. No one knows if any potential thieves even knew what van they were stealing, or if it was intentional. All news reports just say that it was a volunteer military unit in charge of this communications equipment, that the theft is taken very seriously and that the investigation is ongoing.

That second picture is making my heart ache. Both Michelle and Dr. Biden are such excellent ambassadors for our military because they are so genuine, caring and tireless.

Thank you Keith and Yardarm756 for your service and sacrifices on behalf of all Americans. Trying to decide which is sexier a flight suit, or those button front sailor pants….shallow I know, but I am enjoying the thought none the less, and consider it a good sign that my brain is good for something beyond pain 😉

      Sue,
I always liked the button up front. Being from Duluth, that was easy. 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂

    • October 19, 2011 at 10:20 pm

Didn’t know that you guys noticed our blues. There were 13 buttons if we swabbies use to say that it gave a “honey” 13 chances to say NO! 😆

      October 19, 2011 at 11:55 pm

LMAO!! Thanks Sue. I’d say the flight suit is sexier. 😎 I had to pull the ladies off of me in those days. I was a medic so I had a flight suit in mothballs only. I wore fatigues (battle fatigues if we were deployed anywhere), dress blues for special functions like parades, banquets etc, and my medical whites cause my job was in the hospital. Love my experiences in the military.

Roberta, lucky you…I love Duluth 😀

        Yardarm756, gosh I can’t say what I am thinking , but know I’m smiling 😀

Keith, my guy was a flight engineer in the Air Force/Reserves, and yes I loved that flight suit….zippity do da!

Buttons, zippers….In fairness I have to say they both work for me. Thanks again for all your service, your great heart and your sense of humor….you guys are the best!

What a wonderful photo of Mrs. Biden, FLOTUS and the little girl.

Totally OT, I had to laugh at the troops burning O’Reilly’s books in Afghanistan. The photo is priceless.

I guess I have a hand fetish….I love both her and President Obama’s hands. Beautiful. I’m always reminded of a favorite quote, “Hands that serve are holier than lips that pray.”

  17. October 19, 2011 at 9:02 pm

Congrats Chips for TOD hitting the 5 mill mark. Obviously there is a huge lurker crowd out there for PBO and FLOTUS. 😉

I always notice people’s hands, and POTUS and FLOTUS have marvelous hands, strong. affirming, comforting, and quite beautiful. They use their hands to bless, and people feel that blessing coming through their hands.
On a different note…the soldier’s comments about O’Reilly’s books were HILARIOUS!!! How thoughtless and venal of O’Reilly to send his lousy books, and not something useful…..shows how much he knows and cares.
