Miche and PBO look totally engrossed in what their guest is saying. How can people look at these two people and not realize how very much they care? How can they even contemplate having anyone else but PBO and FLOTUS stand at the helm? How can they even link PBO and Mittens in the same breath and have PBO come out with the short side of the stick? Some people are seriously insane.

I agree Chipsticks. I missed Lisa. I love her posts. 🙂 Mittens would probably be squirming and saying the wrong thing in a setting like this. I love this couple.

Mittens would probably be saying that he used to be a vet too looking for a job, errrrrr, he’s unemployed too, hahaha, good thing he has that 300 million cushion in the bank, and then he would break out into a bad and sad rendition of “Who let the dogs out?” Awk—–Ward.

I’m watching “Secrets of Body Language” on the History Channel as I’m working on my home computer with TOD on my iPad. According to these experts, Obama is a natural. When he’s giving a speech, all his words and body language are congruent and the audience responds to the cadence of his speech – and feel one with him. Yes, Republicans definitely want him back in Washington and want as little coverage as possible of these events with the people.

That’s not lunch. That’s some serious convo.

    • October 19, 2011 at 4:27 pm

Bet you we’ll hear some reference to this convo somewhere down the line. POTUS and FLOTUS are such good listeners that I don’t doubt the Pres will address whatever issue this soldier raised with such intensity, or put him on the right path to its achievement if the Pres himself can’t help. Pres O is truly a wonderful example of a president ‘of the people, by the people and FOR the people’!

Oh Shiznit—posted from the angryblacklady’s website Titled “Confessions of an Obamabot”

Over the years, I’ve been called a liberal as if it’s an insult. I’ve also been called a libtard, a Dumbocrat, a hippie, a socialist, a tree-hugger, a bleeding heart, a gay-lover, etc. And I’ve embraced each one. All these were directed at me from people on the right.

Now I find out that I’m an Obamabot. That’s someone who defends the current President of the United States, OUR president of OUR country. But this time, it comes from the left.

I embrace that word, too. But let’s examine what this “mean-spirited” insult actually means.

An Obamabot is someone who may disagree with some of the decisions our president has made, but at the same time, knows and understands why they were made. And we support him for them.

An Obamabot is someone who remembers how the president extended the Bush tax cuts to protect the unemployed from the GOP. Look it up.

An Obamabot remembers the hysteria from the left in April over the rumors that the president would defund Planned Parenthood as the GOP was demanding before they’d agree to stopping a government shutdown. An Obambot remembers those two words the president said to Boehner that finally put the issue to rest as Boehner demanded funds to Planned Parenthood cease: “Nope. Zero.” And Boehner was forced to back down. Look it up.

An Obamabot is perfectly aware of the president’s very long list of achievements and lauds him for them. And damn if we’re aren’t proud to say he’s our president. Look them up.

We also know a president can’t create jobs. That’s the responsibility of Congress, including a House that has struck down every, single job creation bill put before it and has yet to propose one of their own. Look it up.

I’ve been been asked about these issues over and over. These and Gitmo and Libya and why we’re still in Iraq and Afghanistan and why the president hasn’t helped the black community as if they’re some kind of segregated society and dozens of other things.

And this proud Obamabot has something to say after explaining all these things over and over and then over again: do some of your own research! And keep in the back of your mind that Barack Obama was a known centrist long before 2008. He was never a liberal. I knew that when I voted for him. Why have so many others forgot? Or did they just assume he was a liberal because of his skin color and never bothered to check? That type of bigoted ignorance is not his fault.

Why do so many complain that the president managed to get affordable healthcare passed while not closing Gitmo? Had the opposite happened, I have a feeling these same complainers would be whining about not having universal healthcare while he concentrated on closing Gitmo. As for federal marriage equality RIGHT NOW, are you kidding me? With a GOP-led House?

A robot is something that obeys commands. It moves in the directions it’s ordered. It has no ability to think and is incapable of locomotion on its own. All movement is automatic. Whatever “emotions” it displays are actually extensions of its controller’s emotions. If the controller says “Jump”, it doesn’t ask “How high?” It asks nothing. It just jumps to the height it’s programmed to reach.

An Obamabot thinks for itself. It’s intelligent and informed enough to look deeply at a situation and – while it may not agree with the outcome – it knows why that outcome was reached. It has knowledge on its side.

So to all the robots out there who let the media contort them and push them down a right-angled cattle chute as that same media uses terms such as “unnamed sources” and “our experts”, I ask them to take a long, hard look at themselves. They’ve forgot the past. They’re not doing their own research. They’re not thinking with an open and unbiased mind.

If any of that sounds familiar, it’s because – as we all know — that’s how the Tea Party works.

And feel free to call me an Obamabot. I now consider it a compliment.

I’m in as I said before. I also agree with this explanation exactly. It has always sounded to me like the extreme left just listened to the media during the campaign when they said Obama is the most liberal candidate ever for the presidency of the United States. NOT!!! Anyone that read his book Audacity of Hope or looked up his IL Senate records or US Senate records would have known he was more moderate taking good ideas from both sides. Being disappointed without researching their vote first then over reacting to not getting what PBO had wanted to get done while not keeping up on why it didn’t get done makes me think the far left is as stupid as the far right.

Well its official. I have learned from two previous threads that the Teaparty is going for the JUGULAR and the MSM will not report it. They have asked corporate America to stop hiring so President Obama will fail in 2012. This act of TREASON must be spread far and wide. I have to go to work so I didn’t provide the link here. I will check back in on my droid. The headline and link that a poster provided is in the Wake Up thread I believe. There is a cultural, spiritual, economic, and war of atrition going on in America folks. The national polls are all over the place, but mostly solemn for our beloved Prez. Ignore them and PRESS ON.. Spread the word about the TeaParty……and PRESS ON…..WE HAVE AN ELECTION TO WIN!!! 😀 Obama/Biden 2012!!

Chips, Chica, I just thought of something while I was cooking supper. Reflecting on the 5K+ hits, I was feeling quite happy AND proud of TOD when it dawned on me that with the increased activity of our family on Twitter, and the resultant increase in visits here, there has no doubt been an increase in trollish folk to our haven. In short, you must have been working triple time to weed out the unbalanced!!! I sure hope you haven’t been weighed down with too much negativity! So, in case they have been coming at you in the last few days, here’s some love to help banish their darkness. Love & Hugs {{{{Chips}}}}. 😆 😆

THANKS for this spot where POTUS, FLOTUS, and the entire administration can have their work, and their worth to the nation, truthfully acknowledged! Thanks for this venue where we can admit our political addiction 😉 without being attacked. The irrational participants notwithstanding, I sure hope you get as much DAILY satisfaction and laughs out of your work here as we do! Muchas gracias, Chica. Merci mille fois, Ma Petite! Thanks!

I always say my prayers and light my candles for our wonderful Chipsticks. I may not have money, but I know how to pray with humble grace and ask for courage, peace, wisdom, and focus for our Chipsticks. This is a great haven for all of us, and we must always remember to surround Chips and ourselves with spirits of peacefulness, love abundantly, wisdom and knowledge that is not tainted, and grace to get through this re-election of our great gift of President Obama and Joe Biden. Keep Pressing Onward. We Got His Back.HZ
