‘the only adult in the room’

Not only is Martin Sheen a genius, a supporter of the President – he’s obviously a Blackwaterdog fan too. The man is perfect. πŸ˜‰

Original video here – thank you LOL

Martin Sheen gets it. Too bad the firebaggers who told people to stay home in 2010 don’t.

Martin Sheen is right. The President is the smartest guy in the room and the firebaggerrs are upset because they

    a. are jealous of his intellect
    b. can’t tell him what to do

Bravo to those two men. We have a dam good President, despite what some are trying to say.

Loved it when Martin Sheen used the “adore” word, as well as the “only adult” words! I’m with him!

Wow, he called PBO “a very special man” and he must follow BWD too.

I adore you Martin Sheen. Always have. Always will. He’s a bloody brilliant actor. Bloody brilliant. West Wing? Stroke of genius character as President.

ps: Holy shit Chipsticks. I get back from physics labs and you are hitting me with thread after thread after thread. *huffing and puffing; but not complaining.* Seriously; what the heck did you have for breakfast? P90x? πŸ˜‰

I love Martin Sheen, West Wing always will be one of my favorite show!!!

Last night I asked for help with a friend who is mad at Obama for not closing Guanantamo and for not getting the troops out of Iraq faster. I was given good help. Thank you everyone. I will gather my information and keep it on hand. When he says it again I will be ready. I do believe he is one that will complain no matter what.

I have been very busy and haven’t kept up with all the days events. Can’t wait to listen and read.

I think we need to compile a FACT LIST FOR ALL DEMS – including the one about only SIX Dems voted to fund the closing of GITMO.

      • October 17, 2011 at 4:52 pm

That would be wonderful Tally. I have to look on WIW’s website. I bet she has something we can us.

      • October 17, 2011 at 4:56 pm

If you recall, Holder should have held into KSM until Gitmo was relocated to Illinois.
The plan was already in motion, and that trial in NYC really gave republicans fodder, to scare the shit out of people.
And then Democrats caved and blamed the President.
        Bizzaro land!

        HI Tally

I would love to help in this endeavor. I have some talking points pages, but they could be improved on. I am hoping OFA will produce these pages and I can put them on the blog. If you find them, post and I will snag the info.

      • October 17, 2011 at 6:07 pm

I totally like this idea, and WiW’s would be a great storing place for this MtM as she does such a good job with info of this nature. She will definitely be our handy go-to info place along with gotv as the campaign heats up.

Tally You are so right we need a quick fact check sheet on site to correct the miss informed. But Our President does so many things you need a army working shifts just to keep up that is the true reason people leave Our President’s Administration early they need the rest. The man gets more things done you can’t keep up.We know by just going to WHITEHOUSE.GOV and reading there are so many things that catch your eye you get lost in the reading.

Martin Sheen has been a true life-long liberal and activist. So good to hear him speak up for the president.

  10. October 17, 2011 at 4:23 pm

Eh I don’t like making comparisons.. such as to MLK, Bobby Kennedy, etc. I’m not about making comparisons.. Barack Obama is one of kind and in my opinion nobody compares. But glad that Martin Sheen is supportive.

  11. October 17, 2011 at 4:29 pm

I’m glad the interview turned out well but why do even so-called liberals like Joy Behar have to buy into the same right-wing memes, setting up her questions to imply that the jobs situation is the fault of PBO? It really disgusts me.

    • October 17, 2011 at 4:31 pm

meta, I said the same thing about Behr.

    • October 17, 2011 at 7:26 pm

agree, I think thats why I felt irritated after listening to her.

But I will say this, that phrase “the only adult in the room” I’ve heard it more than once – thus I honestly do believe that
Blackwaterdog’s site may well have been the catalyst to referring to our President in this way~ Well done to her πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ For the truth.

Speaking of the “Only Adult in the Room,” has anyone heard from Black Water Dog recently? I haven’t seen her comment in a while. Hope she’s doing okay.

And thank you TOD for reporting on something other than OWS. I think OWS is important, but until it actually accomplishes something meaningful, I will be more interested in reading other news items. Too bad all of those protesters aren’t gathered in DC to demand passage of the American Jobs Act. If you took all of the OWS protesters nationwide, you could have 100,000 – 150,000 gathered in DC. Now that would be impressive.

Thanks, good to read. I just haven’t seen her post anywhere lately. I must be missing them here and there. Hope she starts her blog back up some time soon and is doing well. Luckily, I have this fine establishment and The People’s View, among many others.

    Thank you Martin Sheen!!!

It has been interesting and revealing to finally see what many of the public people we liked really stand for and what they are really made of!!!

I have always loved and respected Martin Sheen for his intelligence and strong advocacy and activism for justice, fairness on behalf of the downtrodden and oppressed!!!

His recognition of and vocal support for President Obama and his efforts and for all the right reasons, makes me love Martin Sheen that much more!!!
