FLOTUS is so awesome. The kids just enjoyed her so much. They almost engulfed her when she was trying to leave. It was too cute.
    Great event!

Yup! The event was sooooo much fun!!!!!!! Mrs Obama is officially the coolest mom, First Lady, wife, sister, daughter and friend in the entire Universe!!! Love her and the kids ADORE her. I got really nervous to the end of the 1 minute jumping jack when all the kids just ran towards her gripping on to whatever piece of her they could!! She almost fell from the pulling of those kids!!! I was like “where’s the SS!” but ofc it’s the White House grounds so she was pretty safe!! Events like this tell us how much the “people” LOVE the Obamas! Those kids were not listening to the announcer’s plea to them to get back in their lines..they just wanted to get a feel of Michelle!! Our First Family is so down to earth!!! My second favorite part after Mrs O jumping jacks ofc 😀 was the little balloon show…how cool was that?

I’m missing out soooo much on here 😦 …….now back to studying 😦 .

YES!!! The kids totally ignored the announcer. When she ran down the middle; they followed. NO LINES!!! She kept having to move up. It was too adorable. They just wanted to be near her and I can understand that although I have never been within a hundred feet of her.
I also know what you mean about the studying. MId-Terms have been keeping me busy but I had to get my dose of FLOTUS today. I just had to.

Now back to tweeting every single Senator and Congressman on Twitter. I am up to Idaho at the top of the list and up to Utah from the bottom of the alphabet.

Such a wonderful role model for all boys and girls in this country, but – more importantly – for the adults who are raising them!

By the way, if you feel like calling, call these four people:

    Baucus (202) 224-2651
    Tester (202) 224-2644
    Lieberman (202) 224-4041
    Webb (202) 224-4024

maybe we should ask these backstabers how much they charge per bill undermined? It is possible that we could get a few Obama-supporters to chip in and match their selfish price. I detest these people!

Baucus, especially, should be ashamed of himself. I gave up on the others a long time ago.

Just called Baucus’ office. Nice aide answered. I respectfully gave him my strong message and asked him to pass it along. Didn’t ask any questions, because I don’t want to hear any rubbish. Anyway, I thanked the guy for answering the phone, unlike some of the other senators.

Someone on twitter just said that Webb has not made a final decision on the cloture vote – maybe the calls are working?

I called them all. Only one staffer asked for my zip … Gave it, GA, but said the Democrats need to stay united in support of Obamas jobs plan. Had to call Tester’s office twice but second time got a staffer. All were polite. Libermans seemed pleasantly surprised that I asked him to vote with the Democrats. Call! It is quick and easy!!!!

What a great idea to have a limit! I am addicted – need to find a way to squeeze some actual work time in while on twitter! 😉

  11. October 11, 2011 at 4:23 pm

What a wonderful first lady–can you imagine Calista Ginrich, Laura Bush, Nancy Reagan, or Michel Bauchman out there doing that? Wouldn’t happen! Michelle is a real women, wonderful Mom, and more like most of us then those plastic Republican wives. Bauchman will not be photographed in casual wear–what a ditz. I know I am spelling names wrong–but who cares?

CNN is all over this terror plot, the other two channels, not so much!

If CNN fills up the air time with the terror plot, at least this saves us the time they would be spending on Christie’s endorsement of Romney

        October 11, 2011 at 5:48 pm

That was disgusting, Christie saying America cannot survive 4 more years of Obama. He’s a piece of work too. The media tried to make him into something he isn’t. They’re all detestable.

          October 11, 2011 at 9:59 pm

It is also disgusting that Christie said that POB is dividing the country and playing on America’s fears. These people have no goodness of spirit when they speak. It is like an evil spirit takes control of their thoughts fully and their tongue. It is shameful. We know what our choices will be in 2012. Lets make it happen.HZ

President Barack Obama is applauded as he arrives to speak about jobs, Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2011, at the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local No. 5 Training Center in Pittsburgh.
(Credit: AP Photo/Keith Srakocic) As the Senate gears up to vote on President Obama’s jobs package Tuesday evening, the president pledged that his administration would attempt push the bill’s measures through Congress piecemeal if the Senate does not pass it. The bill is not expected to get the 60 votes necessary to clear the chamber.

(CNN) — President Barack Obama heads to Florida Tuesday afternoon to help raise campaign cash for his 2012 bid for re-election. And he’ll be helped by some top names from the world of professional basketball.

The president’s first stop is a fundraiser at the Sheraton hotel in Orlando, where he will be the main attraction at a gathering of 450, according to a source with knowledge of the event. Tickets for the fundraiser range from $25 to $35,800, the legal limit an individual is allowed to contribute to a campaign per cycle and to a party committee per year. All the money raised at the fundraiser will go to the Obama Victory Fund, which is joint account of the Obama re-election campaign and the Democratic National Committee.

Later in the evening, Obama will headline a second fundraiser at a private residence in Lake Mary, Florida. The source tells CNN that approximately 300 guests will attend, including NBA all-star Grant Hill, hall-of-famer Patrick Ewing, and former all-star and current head coach Doc Rivers. Tickets for the second event start at $1,500 per person.

I just saw a retweet from Van Jones saying he is pushing for Dems to stay in the Dem party and run as “American Dream Democrats”, just as the GOP has the tea party. I don’t know why Dems would want to associate themselves even loosely with the tea party – but, this is an interesting development. Not sure if it’s a good one, but interesting, nonetheless.

They should note – the tea party destroyed the Republican party’s level of sanity and reason – will the ADD (bad acronym) do the same to the Dems with a purity brigade?

LMAO, I love the First Lady, but did you guys see the little girl just standing there. She was like, “ugh, I think I would rather watch the First Lady do jumping jacks than actually do them.” That was too funny. I tried to watch this live, but my stream kept freezing up. I did get to see the end when all the kids were bomb rushing Mrs. O.

She did not even break a sweat; I got tired just watching her. I love how she and PBO do as they say. The Obamas are re-making the presidency in so many beautiful ways. Four more years (after the first four)!

The many many wonderful young people will have a void in their connection from the WH. I am not being disrespectful to any past First Lady or future, but I know what I have witnessed over my lifetime, and our First Lady has surpassed all of them in so many ways. I will work very hard to make sure that our President will be re-elected in 2012 to make sure that these wonderful young people will continue to experience this beautiful connection to their WhiteHouse.HZ
