    YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Add Hank Williams, Jr. to the list of disgraced bigots relegated to the dustbin of history.

ESPN is a Disney company. There’s no way they could let this slide.

Good riddance, Hank — maybe Faux has a gig for ya, if there’s a market for fake cowboys/tough guys/blowhards. Don’t let the doorknob hit your ass on the way out.

PoxSpews will probably hire him today.

See ya.. Thanks ESPN for doing whats right.

I’m glad they did this, when folks go on national tv and make hateful statements they need to absolutely be held accountable – take responsibility for your words or be made to take responsibility.. either way it’s beyond time that there was a penalty for lying on tv, real tired of it.

If only! Calling the President a dick on MSNBC gets you a short holiday while Pat Buchanan keeps your seat warm.

YEA! We raised our voices to shut this intolerable behavior down….and they listened! Doing the right thing, ALWAYS, is the only thing to do. Don’t let the door hit you in the ass on the way out, Hank!

Yup- as many interviews/basketball tournaments the pres has done with ESPN- this was a no brainer. Let that washed up, weed smoking go find another job. This is one person I’m glad to see on the unemployment line:)

I’m so glad that ignorant brainwashed idiot and his faux apologies are gone..but, when I heard about the teabaggers standing up for him and all the nasty comments about the President on ESPN I thought they might consider keeping him on.

      I’m pleasantly surprised!!

This asshole doesn’t deserve a walking into sun-set moment. A door hitting his racist ass would be more apt.

I’m so glad ESPN decided to get rid of this man. There has to be consequences when you disrespect our President. I would NEVER speak ill of a President even if I didn’t agree with his politics or the way he ran our Country. The Presidency is something to be respected and Mr. Williams decided he would whether voice an opinion that a minority would cheer. I feel sorry for his soul because it’s obvious that he has hate in his heart and in no way can he get into Heaven with it, there. Thank you ESPN. Go Steelers!!!!!!!!

Completely agree with you and I’m going to send an email to Phil Griffin at MSNBC to say that ESPN has shown the respect for the dignity of the office of President of the US and class unlike MSNBC with “Dick” Halpernin. ESPN can legitimately be called a broadcast leader unlike some others.

So Hank is gone. Good. I won’t miss him one bit. How nice to see ESPN had the guts to do what MSNBC and Time Magazine didn’t. ESPN did the right thing. Mark Halperin should have been fired by Time and MSNBC but they didn’t do it. So Long Hank Jr. They kick your sorry butt to the curve.

Never watched ESPN. But now I’ma gonna start watchin’

I did receive an email from espn and I wrote back to them that an apology from that person was not acceptable – we want him gone permanently…and they listened…to all of us!

I love this headline in our local county community newspaper. And this is a very conservative county in VA.

    “Stimulus Funding comes in handy.”

The article goes on to say that the county is using it to widen a major highway, and to do drainage improvements, energy efficiency things, and victims and disability rights.

That was surprising and very positive to see.

Thank goodness! At first he didn’t back down. Then he started apologizing all over the place. I’m glad ESPN didn’t buy into his bogus apology. I guess they appreciate PBO and other sane people more than Tea-publicans. I’m sure he could get a job with Chuck Norris. Or he can go to work for Donald Chump! Some teabagger/birther will employee him.

  22. October 6, 2011 at 6:20 pm

    good riddance to dirty rubbish.

To the TOD Family Hank’s going out the door statement and I’m phasing here “He said that ESPN STEPPED ON HIS FIRST AMENDMENT RIGHTS SO GOOD BYE” it is so funny how they jump behind the Flag when they get caught making bigoted statement. They talk crap about the President and then everyone is picking on them.Such fools live a life of hurt never happy.
