Lots of action today it would be great if the MSM would use the tv to cover it all.

I am always amazed when the President is speaking to a group of any size, there are smiles and people seem to really be listening to him. Every one seems to be enjoying themselves. When the repugs speak to a group, there are no smiles and every one looks bored and angry.

That speech was something wonderful. It was dynamite the way he used the Reagan quote to point out how unreasonable the republicans were being. Calling Cantor out was just the cherry on top of the cake.

Whom do you trust to create more jobs, President Obama or Congress?

    Greetings Everyone

I wanted to comment on the picture posted on an earlier thread.

This is the logo of the American Dream Movement. When you see an A with a star in the center that’s the movement.

The “Jobs Not Cuts” is also their slogan

They have a 10 point platform which can be viewed here.

Obama bus tour to head to North Carolina, Virginia

A White House official confirms that the president will make his way through North Carolina and Virginia on a three-day bus tour later this month. It’s scheduled for October 17-19.

Awesome! Can’t wait. This is what democracy looks like. He’s empowering people and making them realize that they do have a voice in how their government should represent them.

Nice! Keep on bus-ing Mr President. They said, ‘ you were too quiet and no one really knew what you wanted’. Well now
they will hear you loud and clear. ‘BUS ON’

Thank you Doris for this info.

I always like to watch these videos on Utube. The dislikes outnumber the likes by 9 to 1. So many people, I’m sure, just go to anything the white house puts up and gives it a thumbs down, never even listening to the video itself. Where are the pro Obama comments and the thumbs up? I always try to vote and comment. The hate in the comments is sad. Like the President said in this speech, if he proposed the republican platform, the republicans in congress would still be against it. They do not want to give him a “win”, no matter what happens to the American people. Sick!

Hi Carla, I’ve noticed that more and more recently, there’s a definite campaign on YouTube to give thumbs down to President Obama videos and spam the comments with complete hate. Whenever I visit the dark side – eg sites like Free Republic – you see them organizing this kind of thing, they really have full lives. I’m guessing they have another campaign in full swing.

So everyone, when you view a President Obama video on YouTube, don’t forget to give a thumbs up 😉

Hahaha…..I came here just to post what you two already stated. The dislikes are 219, likes are 79. PBO’s got them on the run. You can always tell when he starts to gain traction, the roaches all come out of the woodwork to stifle his rise. So damn transparent. Would be funny if it weren’t so pitiful.
