I’ve had it with the media meme of the President’s polling numbers slipping. They don’t mention that Congress approval is even LOWER… and also that despite having low polling numbers, he’s STILL getting rockstar sized crowds.

The reason why President Obama has low polling numbers is because the questions asked in these polls are asked in a manner in which nothing BUT a negative response is acceptable, and also the fact that some of them STILL exclude folks with cellphones and are conducted exclusively via landline.

President is doing the right thing by taking his case to the people.

    Thanks, Chipsticks!

I love these interviews in which PBO has an opportunity to share his ideas with the people without being interrupted by a reporter who is trying to make him/herself look good.

Hi everyone, any updates on Sue in Minnesota? I know some of you were asking about her yesterday.

    • September 29, 2011 at 7:39 pm

Hi Chips, I still haven’t heard anything other than Desertflower saying she believed Sue indicated she was going on vacation. I believe Donna D was going to email her. I do miss her comments and look forward to her return.

ps – Maybe I should add – All you regulars, when you’re opting for time out please tell us. Although we only meet virtually, we do create links that become worrisome when we can’t tell if silence means something more than time out/vacation.

The difference between the locals and national media is night and day. Good questions and they actually listened.

derbingle, the national media has become a tabloid yellow journalist media. This is the same media that made a huge spectacle over the President’s birth certificate… and now that I think about it, I wonder if President Obama releasing his birth certificate wasn’t a strategic move to cover up the operation he had ordered to hunt down and kill Osama bin Laden… but still, it’s telling about the media that they would focus on non issues like that as opposed to legit issues like jobs and unemployment.

I think it’s another fault line this President has exposed. It’s like look who’s actually doing their jobs and look who’s acting like members of a high school country club.

You are so right. I thought these were great interviews. Look, ma, non-snarky, non-sarcastic, non-cynical reporters! Decent ones, as it should be.

What is this constant drumbeat of POLL NUMBERS DROPPING?…………..WHAT??? NOW LOCAL NEWSTATIONS ARE SPOUTING THE SAME TRASH>>>>>>INSANITY!!! BOY, I’d like to see one news update without negative slants to it involving our President. Even the BET channel is on the MSM BASH OBAMA narrative. That interview PBO did has an atrocious interviewer. 😡 INSPITE OF ALL THIS WE WILL PREVAIL.
