I have one problem with the comparison between President and First Lady Obama in that folks love to tout her approval ratings as always much higher than her husband’s. FLOTUS, like all before her, does not sign legislation; she however spreads good will, as all before her, so of course she will continue to shine long after the bloom is off of her husband. In a logical world, it would force the opponents to up their games. I think that’s the biggest fear: how do we counter this? He’s the opposite of what we’ve said black men are. So now what? Gov. Hairdo seemingly proudly talking about his own lack of intellect [and intellectual curiosity] should be seen as the insult it is to the voting public. I have one problem with the comparison between President and First Lady Obama in that folks love to tout her approval ratings as always much higher than her husband’s. Well, aren’t most if not all first ladies’ ratings higher as they don’t make policy? I find it spurious to ever compare the two. FLOTUS, like all before her, does not sign legislation; she however spreads good will, as all before her, so of course she will continue to shine long after the bloom is off of her husband. And as the clip shows, even those few words are meant to malign him, though I don’t attribute that attempt directly to the three on this clip. I do agree that she is a fierce weapon for her husband’s benefit, so yes, that is why the attacks have amped up. We’ll just see how that all fails.
