LMBAO SO, Prez is DIVORCING the GOP, due to irreconcilable differences. Sounds fair to me. He’s done his part trying to compromise with these MOFOs. It takes two to TANGO, baby. Let’s keep backing the POTUS as he dips, dives, and grinds to the music of AMERICA, BA-BEE!

    LOL I’m pumped!

    • September 19, 2011 at 8:51 pm

He tried to make it work. He went more than half way. He laments the irreconcilable differences. Divorce granted. Goodbye abusers. Done with ya. Better off without ya. See ya later——much.

“irreconcilable differences”——- hehehehehehehehehehehe. My Honeybear’s is ready to kick some GOP rump!

Did anyone catch Lawrence O’Donnell opening segment tonight?

    • September 19, 2011 at 8:36 pm

Caught the segment with Robert Reich. Of course everyone is trying to take credit for PBO. Reich said that PBO is back. Where the fuck did he go, pray tell?

OMG; and Mr. Chris balona lip, spittle, tweety bird Matthews says POTUS is lucky. LUCKY? umm no, Matthews, PBO is smart, intelligent, good-fuckinglooking, great husband and father… And he’s the MOFO POTUS. Luck didn’t have shit with this. Barack Obama has EARNED everything in his life. BYE BOY!

This infuriated me tonight. Tweety mentioned Obama’s race against Alan Keyes and McCain (“McCain was off his game”) but neglected to mention a little race Obama won handily: the primaries from Hillary Clinton. Yeah, that was just ‘luck’, Matthews, you jackass.

If I hear that “PBO is back” mantra from these jokers one more time … well, I don’t now what I’ll do, but it won’t be pretty! πŸ™‚

I wanted to throw a shoe at the tv when he said PBO is back. I was yelling back from where exactly?? STFU Reich. Talk about a fair weather friend. He was all over President Obama tonight like a cheap suit. It was disgusting.

          September 19, 2011 at 8:57 pm

Exactly. And when he snidely gave PBO an A- for his performance; and said he was doing so; so that the student can improve. WTF? He’s been bashing PBO for weeks and now he was all over him like white on rice. fairweather friend indeed.

Bravo, Bravo, Alice! Enough of this nonsense! Just because people have not been paying attention is not an excuse. I remember the common expression during my high school days, almost 50 years ago: “Ignorance of the law is no defense!” Likewise, ignorace of President Obama’s achievements, so far, is no excuse for people who insist on disrespecting For all of us who have been paying attention to President Obama, he has never gone anywhere. He has been trying all sorts of political tactics to advance the interests of the American people; and in particular the poor and the middle class. The stimulus Bill; the ACA; saving the Auto industry; the Financial Reforms that included, the first ever, Consumer Protection Bureau; Credit card Reforms; Student Loans’ Reforms; and, ending DADT in the military, are all clear evidence that the President has been right here doing the right thing for the American people.

I appreciate all the brave souls that still watch the MSM so that they can share information with us. For me, going back to 2009, I’ve totally been engaged in complete boycott of the MSM. Other than clips posted on this and other sites, I no longer watch: ABC, CBS, CNN, NBC, MSNBC, or PBS. Beginning in the late 1990’s, during Bill Clinton’s impeachment, but picking up steam since January 2009, I decided that I would be better off not wasting my time watching the propaganda news of the MSM. I did that because

      • September 19, 2011 at 9:12 pm

It’s hard for them to see where the President has been with their heads up their collective arse.

I have to run for the remote every time this ad comes on. The gag impulse is just too great. I absolutely loathe Chuck Todd. I think he is one of the worst jackals in the White House Press Corps. What took me over the edge with CT was him wagging his finger at President Obama while asking a question dripping with sarcasm. It was at one of the press conferences during the debt limit debacle. I was absolutely outraged. I thought he was arrogant and disrespectful. As far as I cam concerned, this is just MSNBC trying to put lipstick on a pig.

If the American people deserve answers, then why isn’t he getting them? He spends his days and nights carrying water for the GOP and gossiping? These people’s heads are so big – they think they’re more important than the President, even though they’re not helping one single life.

I’m too chicken to think about it just yet. I’m afraid that someone will sweep in with 40 donations at the last moment and take it away from me so until its over I’m not going to think about it. πŸ™‚

But if I am fortunate enough to win… I’m going to be taking topics of discussion from the TOD family.

Dan Savage on Lawry taking credit for DADT. Said the admin’s feet was held to the fire after mid term elections when some of the gay/bi and transgender votes went to Repugs and the LGBT didn’t contribute to dems. Is that a-hole really proud of that bullshit? What an idiot.

    • 58 Ladyhawke

      That was really nauseating.

    • 59 utaustinliberal
      September 19, 2011 at 9:04 pm

This is exactly what Fred was talking about earlier in the day. How in 2010 the LGBT community in order to stick it to President Obama, donated heavily to the rethugs and came out in full force to vote for them. Talk about cutting ones nose off to spite ones face. And Dan Savage is proud of this? He’s taking credit for DADT? I didn’t see him at PBO’s side from day one when PBO in his savvy manner was working his butt off so that Congress and the military could repeal that regressive law.

      • September 19, 2011 at 9:13 pm

Can Dan savage take credit for the bush tax cuts being extended, because that was the deal?

      • 61 57andFemale
        September 19, 2011 at 9:47 pm

I don’t believe the exit polls that said that. I never will.

Thom Hartmann was talking about the rigging of exit polls in recent years. There were some defectors to be sure and there was a good deal of stupid out there (I’ve heard it from gay friends and family). But the vast majority of my vast circle of gay friends and family are still with the President.

These same Pl’ers piled on about not including the debt ceiling in the December 2010 deal. Obama chose to blow his political capital on the repeal of DADT, for which the gay community refuses to give him the credit he so richly deserves.

    • September 19, 2011 at 9:06 pm

So it sounds like everybody and their brother is going to take credit for everything the President accomplishes without their support. Insanely delusional but whatever gets them through the night. I want people to VOTE.

        September 19, 2011 at 9:48 pm

Gee, just imagine what the lame duck Congress could have achieved had Democrats not gone batshit crazy and enabled Boehner to win the House.

        Just imagine……

      • 64 nathkatun7
        September 20, 2011 at 3:46 am

I have totally caught on the PL games: They take credit for everything that the President has accomplished that benefits them and they blame him for not paying attention to them for everything they believe the President failed to accomplish. Bottom line: President Obama sucks! Even when he accomplishes things they are for, he just doesn’t deserve credit. Rather the credit belongs to them and others like members of Congress. Never mind the fact that if Obama hated gays so much he still had the power to veto DADT. Believe me, if he had done so he probably would have won praise from fundamentalist Christians.

Personally I have had enough with people like Don Choi, and Dan Savage. These are the same people who gave all the Credit to LBJ for the passage of the Civil Rights laws and totally ignored the role played by the Civil Rights Movement in putting pressure on Congress to pass those laws. These are the same people who love Bill Clinton but were totally silent when he signed into law both DADT and DOMA. I am sorry, but I am at point in my life where I do not want to waste time and energy to appeal to such people. They are more consumed with their hatred of the President that it really doesn’t matter what he does. The good news is that the vast majority in the gay community are more rational and know that President Obama has accomplished a great deal in advancing their rights and interests.

    • September 19, 2011 at 9:31 pm

Greg Sargent has a more realistic way of stating it..

“It’s easy to forget this β€” after all, repeal passed Congress and was signed by the president a full nine months ago β€” even when repeal seemed within reach, success was anything but assured. It only came after a nearly pitch-perfect effort by Obama and the military leadership to create the political conditions necessary to bring about repeal, as well as well as some very shrewd public and private gamesmanship by Senate leaders that left GOP moderates with little choice but to do the right thing. It will be endlessly debated whether Obama and Dems did this in response to outside pressure, but the fact is, they did it.”

    • September 20, 2011 at 1:51 am

That was as a load of bull. DADT would have been dead but we were short ONE vote to get over a filibuster. EVERY DEM voted for it BEFORE the mid-term.

Rachel Maddow just did a half way decent segment on the Republicans trying to disenfranchise voters. Melissa Harris Perry was great. Rachel just teased that Michael Moore will be her next guest. That takes me right to the Criminal Minds reruns. I have zero interest in looking at Michael Moore’s mug on the tv machine. He makes my skin crawl.

    • September 19, 2011 at 9:29 pm

Yes; she did do a half way decent segment. She also stressed how folks who voted for or did NOT vote in 2010 are now seeing how deeply entrenched the GOP Governors and other elected GOP hve worked in lockstep to CHANGE THE RULES.

MOVING THE GOALPOST, making it harder for President Obama to get re-elected. Because these slimy theives are not going to do any REAL work to win honestly.

      • September 19, 2011 at 9:39 pm

The point was very salient. We gonna have a lot o’ work to do. Is it me, or does Moore look like Java the Hut or is that Flush Limpbaugh.

      • 71 Ladyhawke
        September 19, 2011 at 9:39 pm

Did you get her dig at the end where she was basically implying that the Democrats are not doing anything about the Republican shenanigans with disenfranchising voters? That was quintessential Rachel. She does that all the time, she can’t help herself.

        • September 19, 2011 at 9:56 pm

Yes; I heard Rayray. She has a point, though. The Dems that did not vote in 2010, gave license to the Republican shenanigans, and the ones who voted for the Republicans in 2012 did the same; maybe she was one of the Dems who did not vote; who knows… What the hell does she want the Dems to do? I turned the tv, after she announced Michael Moore was coming up next. wonder if this mofo voted in 2010. he certainly has been talking loud, and saying nothing. I loathe that bastard. Ever since he and Bill Maher went on their PBO pink tutu -wearing tour; I tune out these bitches.

    • September 20, 2011 at 12:39 am

My daughter met Melissa Perry tonight at her book signing. She said that she was really nice and spoke very lovingly about PBO.

Changed to “Sing Off”. Will try Rachel again in a few.

Sure enough! I was looking for any discord from liberals about the Presidents proposal on debt reduction!
On the hill website, their is a picture if grijalva, saying liberals on the hill are furious(at the president) over proposed cuts to Medicare!

You know my meds were kicking in after trying to hold the pain off for so long today, and there was this Savage person on smacking his lips about “holding POB’s feet to the fire.” Who in their hellish little minds do these fools think that they are talking like this about POTUS. This is another reason we will show them who is in charge come 2012. These are some little show off cry babies. Mr. President we have your back all the way. Trust ,us.HZ

You know HZ, people like Dan Savage are so ignorant of the way the political system operates. The MSM parades them in order to promote division in the Democratic party. Besides, people like Dan Savage are so invested in hating the President that they’ve completely lost their minds. Thankfully, the vast majority of Democrats do not know who the hell is Dan Savage; nor do they care about what Dan Savage says about the President.
