The “No Compassion” Party.
I am afraid a sizable following of “this crew” would enjoy hunting humans for fun – and I think Borat’s creation already showed us that.
I agree that some of these folks would enjoy hunting humans for fun, Too Moene, because it seems that human life holds no real value for them. They rail against womens’ right to have abortions, womens’ access to contraception, and at the same time, once the child is born, they refuse to help the mother and/or the child. These people wear their Christianity on their sleeves when it should be in their hearts and actions. They fail to acknowledge that Jesus was all about showing Christianity through actions. This is one reason why, as a Christian, I find their faux public displays of Christianity so offensive—their words don’t match their actions.
X2
If I wasn’t already a Christian, listening to them, would make me swear not to be a Christian ever.
Saw this video. DWS is spot on.
I heard our Chair Debbie give her full interview last night. She was pitch perfect. Didn’t say anything snarky – just the facts.
And she represents a district in Florida that’s heavy with seniors on Social Security and Medicare.
Funny thing is that she didn’t have to refer to any notes written on her hand. I’m SO VERY GLAD she’s heading up the DNC at this critical time.
Now wait a minute! If it wasn’t for the tea party, I would never have realized that the Good Samaritan is actually the villain in that parable. After all, he gives no-strings-attached health care paid for out of his own pocket to a total stranger.
The tea partiers are the ones in the parable who saw the man and went out of their way to avoid having any contact with him, Brian. Based on their behavior over the past 2 years, only a totally clueless person would fail to see this. Cold, cruel, evil spirited, heartless, selfish, greedy? Yep, that seems to describe many of the tea partiers.

GOP KEEPS THE ‘NO JOBS’ STREAK ALIVE
===================================
After spending over 250 days in the House majority without passing any legislation to create jobs, it looks like the GOP intends to keep that “no jobs” streak alive:

It should not surprise anyone that the Tea Party, better known as the KKK, is all for letting some uninsured person die. And last week it was cheering because Perry has approve over 200 people put to death. What will it be next, cheering when someone mention hanging black folks?
I especially like how she related the tea partiers response in a personal manner. She talked about having breast cancer and pre-exisiting conditions that in the past prevented and denied people from obtaining comprehensive healthcare coverage. The callousness and inhumanity showed by Ron Paul and his band of cohorts when they cheered and yelled “let him die” is disgusting. To think people like them exist in the world with a warped mentality is sickening.
O/T but have to share: One of our long-time Republican state senators left couple months ago. There’s 4 people running in the R primary and ONE in the D to replace her. (One of the R’s running is John Duncan’s sister–gotta keep it in the family! His son is a local councilman!) The Dem is a 30-year educator and, of course, after what the TN governor and legislature has done to our schools, she is “fired up.” I proudly said “Democratic” when lady asked which primary. Then, she had to give me the paper explaining the voter ID requirements in January. I said, “Oh yes, I am aware. I am a political activist.” I could hear the ladies talking when I walked into the room where the booths are. I felt SO GOOD because that told them I am a PO supporter!!!!!!! 🙂 🙂 🙂
The GOP has lost…or rather sold it’s soul!. And I mean that literarily!.
If you hear banjos playing at one of these things, think about “Deliverance”. 😦
They’ve bought all those guns, now their itching to use ’em.
Yep, but one thing they always seem to conveniently forget is that many of us are also armed. The difference is that although I am armed, I have no desire to use my weapons except for defense of myself and my family. It has never occurred to me to use them against those with whom I disagree from a political POV. Sadly, I don’t feel that this solution to political differences is the same for many of the tea partiers.
I was talking today with someone who has just joining our OFA county group. She said the Tea Party in her estimation are thugs who have gotten a taste of power and want more. She talked about fears of fascism. I have to say I see the parallels myself.
Love that Debbie. I’m yet to see an interview with her she didn’t make me proud. Sharp, crisp and to the point. Now if we can clone her and make more of her in the Dem caucus. I’m so glad she replaced that drip Kain. I’m not enthusiastic but I will vote for him in Virginia. Anybody but that bastard Allen.
Alan Grayson was right. Ron Paul is a heartless bastard. i am reminded of an old movie “Savage Innocences” w/Anthony Quinn where an old person who could no longer do chores around the camp, was left on the ice for the Polar bears.
i want to ask Paul and that ass hole in the audience if they’d feel the same if that disabled person were a homeless vet? Or maybe your empathy only extends to females like Terri Schiavo(sp).
Fuck your deficit you souless bastard!
