I think I am confused….. I thought all the pay fors were a trigger to kick in if the Super Committee cannot find the money.

Didn’t they say they were going to tell the Committee to add the 457 billion to their assignment?

        Am I losing it ?????

Also Jovie mentioned that CNN said the President will announce another bus tour shortly. I wonder where this one will head. I’d guess Georgia-Florida.

woowoo…. I hope he comes to Georgia.. We have only 5 Dem Districts….luckily… I live in one.

I would do anything to see him in the flesh…swoon.

Just a complete guess on my part. But Obama campaign has indicated that Georgia will be part of the campaign’s early expanded map, and I figure the President is due for another Florida trip as with the redistricting out of the hands of the politicians there could be a lot of districts in play and no incumbent protection gerrymanders.

Other possibilities would be Colorado to New Mexico, Las Vegas to Tucson to NM trek.

We have the most gracious, humble, brilliant, compassionate, kind, caring, articulate, intelligent and intellectual oh did I say Brilliant?, classy, loving, steadfast, forthright, honest, and yes, Brilliant President ever!!!!! I can never get enough data input on this incredible human being and all that he has done and will continue to do for and on behalf of each and every one of us… I am constantly reminding the disgruntled among us that when folks have issues about certain items that he has or has not addressed regarding their personal agendas, i.e. LGBT, Blacks, Hispanics, etc., I yell in their faces that HE IS THE PRESIDENT OF ALL OF US!!!!!!!!!!!!! What he does for the general population benefits Blacks, Gays, Hispanics, and everything in between… – This President works tirelessly, ceaselessly against more opposition than any previous President has been up against and with a smile on his face and a “shrug off” on his shoulders, he maintains!!!… and I say an enormous THANK YOU to CHIPSTICKS for providing us with our “safe Obama haven”…much needed site to support, defend and fight for everything this man stands for… Go Obama/Biden 2012!!! and then Go Michelle Obama 2016!!!!!!!! love everyone on this site especially you, Chipsticks…a humble thank you from the bottom of my little colored girl’s heart!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jabba the Rush is a Rick Perry man, despite him saying he’s not endorsing anyone in the race.

    • September 13, 2011 at 6:30 pm

This issue will sink Perry. Especially when his ties to Merck are exposed as more than $5000.

I dont think so. I heard an interview of some Ohio Rep’s all saying that Perry is their man. Romney is too much like a pol. Perrys a real man. They like Bachman too(she speaks her mind)

Scott Brown Begs David Koch For Money

Elizabeth Warren needs to make this into one of the big issues: paint herself as sticking up for average Americans, and Scott Brown is the one sticking up for greedy billionaires like the Koch Bros.

Don’t know if this has been shared yet, but here are organizations and businesses that have joined to support the President and the American Jobs Act.

Yesterday, President Obama sent The American Jobs Act to Congress and urged Congress to pass the bill right away to get the economy moving. Organizations and businesses continue to respond to the President’s call to put partisanship aside and do what is right for the American people. Here is what organizations around the country are saying about the American Jobs Act:

No, didn’t know that – excellent news! Thanks. The people who the bill affects, being led by our brilliant President may circumvent the greedy republicans.

List of statements from supporters is getting larger and larger … this is a GREAT idea to solicit and publish the names of these organizations. Shows broad-based support.

I am off to make more state pages, someone at this blog named Michelle ROCKS> She found a site that has local media resources for all 50 states. I could just hug this woman.

I am also so encouraged at the folks who mentioned that they tweeted, called, emailed their representatives, Keep those stories coming. This is a marathon – not a sprint.

I wanted to share a corny and wise saying my mother-in-law used to share

“Inch by inch life’s a cinch, yard by yard life’s real hard”

We will win this campaign inch by inch. Every time we make a phone call, have a lunchroom conversation, and wear our Obama T-shirts its a small victory and they add up – inch by inch.

    • September 13, 2011 at 6:40 pm

Hiya Linda, where do you get the energy – you’re amazing!!!

I just put that earlier post with your ‘call to action’ back on top to make sure latecomers see it. I hope it’s okay with you that I put a link in the sidebar to the WIS page with Congress contact details.

      You’re a star.

      • September 13, 2011 at 8:14 pm

HI Chips, not only is it OK, its like winning an award. When I first saw my site was listed on your site and on TOAIR I teared up and then let out a woopee.

My pages are your pages, use them however you see fit.

Also my video clips can be shared by anyone on this blog

An incomplete list of the video clips can be found here

I have sliced up the President’s American Jobs Act speech but have not uploaded them to YouTube yet.

The Republicans are committing POLITICAL SUICIDE by posturing against the American Jobs Act.

If the Republicans end up voting against it, they’ll be seen as playing partisan political games while continuing to keep people unemployed.

If the Republicans end up voting for it, they’ll be perceived as caving to President Obama and will anger the Teapug fringe.

President Obama has put them in a box, and placed them in a situation that, no matter how much they spin it, they CAN NOT WIN. President Obama has outsmarted them, yet they are too naive and stupid to see and realize that. To use an overused cliche, the Republicans are rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic which is their party.
