Yes, Yes, and Yes to everything you said. I now know why President Obama chose VP Biden. Joe Biden is for real! His love of people, his compassion and his grace, just like the POTUS, flow effortlessly. I don’t care what the haters say, but we really have the “A-Team” in in the WH.

How can anybody feel animosity toward these people. They’re all so human and genuine. Well, the kids certainly know that. They know who’s protecting them, who understands them, and who they want to be like when they grow up.

Ohhhhhh—–that granny just had to touch President Obama’s beautiful, beautiful face! I know exactly how you feel, sweet, smart granny.

Press Secretary Jay Carney starts the press conference by schooling the reporters on the DIFFERENCE BETWEEN TALKING POINTS AND FACTS ON THE GROUND. I can’t wait to get the transcript. I think Jay is fed up with the nonsense from the reporters.

A reporter keeps bringing up that the administration was wrong about their projections for the impact that the Recovery Act would have on the unemployment numbers. Jay explained that the numbers that the administration and economists had at the time was not accurate. The numbers have subsequently been revised and they were worst than anyone imagined.

Jay Carney said (paraphrasing) any reporter worth his/her salt when reporting the unemployment numbers SHOULD BE SURE TO INCLUDE THE FACTS about how the numbers were adjusted. In other words just asking a question that is a TALKING POINT for the Republican Party is not journalism.

Beautiful Photos!!! I especially love the one with the woman touching the President’s face. A very grandmotherly act!

Awwwh! Our presidential leadership has got to be the most hugged in history! ๐Ÿ˜† ๐Ÿ˜† ๐Ÿ˜† I wonder if they FEEL the love people have for them in situations like these, which may be partly why they seem to plunge right in? Maybe it’s the other way around – they plunge in then feel the love? Or they give off such love themselves that it attracts love in return? Whatever, POTUS, FLOTUS, & V-POTUS seem to put such heart and soul into their interactions with others that it shows even in pictures! As far as I can remember, the only time I’ve ever seen President & Mrs. O in an emotionless embrace was with the woman from Huffy-Puffy.

I cannot stop crying. These pictures are soooooo stunningly beautiful! The intamcy is breathtaking. I just love the natural spontaneity of pure love and affection sparked by our wonderful president, the first lady and of course our big hearted vice president. It never ceases to amaze me that almost every single picture of children looking up at the President have the same look in thier eyes as if they all see something even more deeply than we see. It is like this unspoken language that they and the President share. It gets me everytime. Thank you so much Chips, from the bottom of my heart.

“It never ceases to amaze me that almost every single picture of children looking up at the President have the same look in their eyes as if they all see something even more deeply than we see. It is like this unspoken language that they and the President share. It gets me every time. ‘

Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! It grabs me by the throat EVERY SINGLE TIME! Particularly from the itty bitty babies; like they are communicating on a really deep level. Even babies who are months old seem on the same wavelength with our President. Makes me want to know what they are communicating. God I LOVE, LOVE this man and his family! I CANNOT imagine him not maintaining his presidency. I just can’t.

Every time I see the pictures of the children with the president, I think of the scripture; “and a little child shall lead them.” They know….

Some of the most touching and beautiful photos ever. What is it with elderly women and PBO? I have seen many photos where they clasp his face. It is wonderful that not only does he allow it, but he seems to understand it. So many want to mother him. I love the FLOTUS photo; sitting without regard to her clothing, on the stone walk way, with kids sitting all around, patiently signing their papers. It makes you want to weep with gratitute. And look at our Joey! We have the best term ever!

Chipsticks you’ve done it again. Reached down and touched our hearts. The pictures are breathtaking. The white house photographic team is brilliant. The picture of VP Biden with his head touching the woman was just heartbreakingly poignant. I’m glad they provided a measure of comfort to families yesterday.

Chipsticks, what a joyful eye full you have given us to behold of our beautiful President and First Lady as well as our beloved Vice President, Joe Biden. The love that is within their hearts surely in being poured out into beautiful vessels of citizens all over this country. Hate cannot live in the same vessel where love and hope reside. You see it in our President and First Lady daily. They could hate, but these two lovely vessels do not make room for that ugly element. Our President and First Lady are beautiful vessels of Matt.25. The children are the first to bring it to our attention. Just watch them. It is like carrying around with you so much goodness, love, hope, and joy that these beautiful children and older ones just know when to embrace this love. I cry with joy when I see it, because being around children for 36 years, you really do know when the vessel is carrying a bouqet of sincere love and care for you. My children always showed me that. I love roses, and we had a beautiful rose garden on campus where there were so many different colors, and types of roses. I had a great relationship with our groundman, so I would cut roses each day. Then the students would see me cutting a rose at times. Then I would make it a habit to walk them down to the rose garden and allow the groundman to demonstrate to them how to properly cut the rose. The children loved it so much that when they would come into the room, they would ask if we could go down and cut some roses. Of course, I said, “Yes, we can.” They would enjoy it so much that they would make sure that we would cut some to send to some of the other teachers. It was one of the lovely rituals that we enjoyed as a family within my classes. They saw the beauty first within my heart for them to be vessels of beauty and to try to always surround themselves with as much beauty as possible. So, I know how all of us can choose to be vessels of ‘simple acts of beauty ‘to enrich another person’s life, no matter what has happened in that person’s life. Just do an act of beauty in your life each day. We all know that POB and First Lady Michelle have so much to carry, but they stop and share what is within their vessels with others. Oh, if we could do that more in this country. But our TOD Family, with our beautiful vessel, Chipsticks try to do this daily. I am grateful to be a part of the “Rose Garden” within this family here. I love you all.HZ
