Where is CNN on this story? When he had temporarily lost 30,000 they were reporting breathlessly. Again I ask, where are the CNN headlines on the 10 million+ followers?

This is another reason I take the polls with a grain of salt. The Presidents small donor donations at 240,000 new donors in 3 months, do not point to a 39-40% job rating. Also 80+ million dollars don’t rack with low approval ratings.

Then I see him out in the country, all nationalities not just black folks hollering and reaching for our President. So how is he losing the white vote, or the male vote. Yeah something is wrong with their numbers. And pictures don’t lie LOL

I have always maintained that these polls are slanted by the pro-Repub pollsters who are not held accountable or not viewed with any suspicion far out from an election.

These polls make absolutely no sense to me.

Me either, I just watch the actions going on around the President. And what sane people talk about pertaining to him or his Administration. To me that and a good ground game is what is going to matter at the end. And I don’t think the Republicans have a good ground game GOTV going.

What you are saying about what you see compared to what the msm is saying regarding polls etc. is exactly what we were seeing during the election when there were crowds of 200,000 people and the opposition’s crowds were a few thousands and even hundreds. Actually, though the biggest threat to campaigning is complacency so we do need to work as if we are behind at all times even when it does not make sense. I especially am worried about the GOP concerted effort to suppress voting in some 30 some states. Not the normal suppression but new very aggressive ways of suppressing the vote. It might work! What can we do to counter that? I wrote to WH.gov with that question.

I live in South Carolina, I have taking it upon myself to go to the apartment complexes, knocking on doors checking if the occupants have voters cards, and DMV ID’s. I’ve taken a few a week to the DMV for their picture ID’s. The Democratic Party in my area is the pits. So I take things in hand and do whatever is needed myself. So far I have taken 27 people. Young and older. They was happy for the help. My stupid Gov Nicky Haley is trying to pass the voter suppression bill. I hope enough people keep hounding her on it,maybe it won’t pass.

We subscribe to the LA Times since the county newspaper is such a rag. Usually ok articles, letters, etc. This morning I was majorly pissed that the front page headline was something about there being no relief for homeowners who are “underwater.” I understand that there really should be differing viewpoints as last I looked this was still America, but geez! So discouraging.

AND no pics at all of PBO from yesterday, even though they did have coverage of all the events. Small blurb about his remarks and that was about it. Let them know I was NOT pleased. Argh, are they turning into the Orange County Register (you SoCal folks know what I mean).

Being ill, I can’t live on the computer and I dearly love to read so I’m hoping my DH got the not so veiled hint about an iPad for bday. We’ll see.
