Was that in tonight’s debate? Guess I missed that. She seems to be backtracking too. Maybe she isn’t counting all the kids that don’t agree with her! LOL

I can not listen to her……if the topic was Rick Perry and his executive order re Gardasil …she was probably referring to her 3 daughters.
She has 5 children 2 boys, 3 girls and her 23 foster children, also all girls.

She is such and embarrassment to me as a Minesotan…..we are not all this F#$King crazy.

    • September 12, 2011 at 9:31 pm

LOL you stole the words right outta my mouth, Sue, and I don’t want them back!

Bachmann’s a disgrace to Minnesota. We’re definitely not looney tunes like this nutso.

    • September 12, 2011 at 9:38 pm

ALL her foster children were girls?

Yep….that fact definitely raised eyebrows in our household…seems odd. I am speculating but perhaps her husband can not be trusted around young men…..my gaydar says he is GAY.

Sue, just a note, there is a bigger chance of a straight man being a pedophile than a gay man.

Sorry, I hope I didn’t offend you…I do think it is odd. I fully support the gay community …and I do not conflate being gay with pedophilia.
Human sexuality is far more complicated than I can pretend to comprehend. I do believe Marcus Bachmann is gay, which for two reasons concerns me. 1. The Bachmann’s anti-gay positions. 2. I do not believe that living any part of our lives behind a lie is healthy or beneficial to a persons well being. In the end, it is only my business in as far as they have an impact on public policy and cultural sensitivity.

  3. September 12, 2011 at 9:36 pm

Bizarro. And I think it’s very strange that they have never trotted out even one of those grateful foster kids, not one. But what I am really upset about right now is that I just read on Gawker that the NY Times is preparing a piece saying Obama is suffering from depression! What in the world??? They have unnamed sources saying he’s “listless” and doesn’t enjoy the political back and forth. Now with all they have unloaded on him, the constant and undeserved criticism and obstruction, I would not blame him if he got dejected from time to time. But this sounds like another imagined hit piece, to stir up doubt about his ability, to cause political problems. President Obama has always exhibited so much optimism and energy and, yes, hope. I have never seen any indication of what they write. And who thinks they are qualified to make this kind of judgment about the President of the United States. This is despicable.

Honestly I’d be depressed too. I don’t know how he does it. But he seems like he still enjoys being out with the people and that is what’s important.

thank you lisa.. you just spoke my mind. please folks do not fall for this newest game… believe your own eyes and ears- we actually see and listen to POTUS nearly daily.. there is NOTHING to give credence to this BS. NOTHING. More sabotage is all.

    • September 12, 2011 at 9:42 pm

If what you’re saying is true, that is just the most despicable media BS imaginable and deserves a wholesale pushback against the increasingly hideous NYT. I’ve never seen a more balanced and healthy individual in my life. Depressed people don’t exercise or travel or speak in public or attend to family or have the kind of energy to RUN according to a very demanding schedule day in and day out. ABSOLUTELY DESPICABLE. Who’s paying their way? I smell a buyout.

      They know squat.

Next they’ll up the ante to “showing signs of manic depression”

And then double down with “apparent psychotic episode.”

Bachbrains can’t keep track of the number of kids she has, but she can fix our economy.

Hahahahahahahaha 😆 😆 😆 Seriously, this is desperate overreach by the msm. If they’re really preparing to run a stupid story like this then they are 100% morons.

Don’t worry that article will go no where just like the birther issue. It will have the MSM talking but will die out eventually. Truth always come to light!

I think during the course of it’s existence is serves to damage, not just President Obama but individuals with mental health issues. I really find it difficult to be patient or charitable about this.

Yes that maybe true….MSM not really talking about it instead they conversing over Perry, Romney and the rest who have no good input to making the economy better. The MSM like “old talk”.

Why would any sane person enjoy the “political back and forth”…really. A country is suffering economically, real lives are impacted, and some in our government think power struggles are more important than resolving critical issues. We do not need political machinations we need elected officials to put the people of this country first, not their self interests or their re elections. And of course despite the inefficiencies of others President Obama wears the mantle of blame.

I think this is genuinely devious….I also think it harms people who suffer from depression ……it is not a choice, it’s a fucking illness. Be great if Americans would start respecting mental health issues, they like to seperate the mind from the body…which is an enormous mistake.

Sue – I was a MH counselor. I don’t think it will hurt those who are suffering from these diseases. They are too busy trying to survive. What WILL hurt is if Obamacare is not allowed to grow and prosper. And that brings up back to the work we do for him and donations we make toward his campaign.

During the era when Yoga came into being the Indians and other peoples did not even have separate words for body and mind. It was one. In fact, the word Yoga means to yoke. Sorry, this is a pet subject of mine – didn’t mean to babble on 🙂

I call out anyone who uses “off your meds” as a throwaway insult. When my clients suspend their medication, they often become self destructive. I also do not like “tard” as a suffix. OK, now I will stop 🙂

I am glad for your insights. I am far too sensitive about mental health issues. Another area where I find it difficult to seperate emotional from intellectual. Personal experience. And please ‘babble’ on, we have so much to learn from one other, I know I am always happy to learn.

How is it being back at school?

Why is it that we keep being inundated with rumors about the President? I don’t care what Gawker or the NYT says about President Obama. I absolutely see no evidence to support their claims. Anything they put out should be viewed as nothing but orchestrated propaganda to try to undermine the President. We, at this fabulous site that Chipsticks has created for us, should refuse to be sucked into the anti-Obama propaganda hyteria; including the propaganda and untruths being peddled by the so called respectable MSM, like the NYT!

Chips, you are amazing. I don’t need to watch those crazies. You all are keeping me in stitches. They all are nuts. It is very scary.

I’m not in the habit of spreading rumors, but feel I can express that here. A brother of mine was the first one to suggest he thought it to be a very tell tell sign…..Lord only knows……if he can’t be trusted then I am glad they didn’t put temptation in his path.
