I don’t normally use words like “eloquence” and “passion” when describing an economics lecture, but Reich should be required viewing for all Americans. I wish he would be asked to moderate the next Republican presidential candidates debate. I bet he wouldn’t let some of their mendacity remain unchallenged.

That would be a debate to watch. No pandering. Just straight questions and demands for factual answers.

Mr. Reich has spoken frequently on Rev Al’s show and his position has been pretty consistent in support of President Obama’s direction for the country. This was a great speech that should go viral. Thanks Chipsticks for bringing it to our attention!

I used to love this man until he went anti-Obama, which he’s done for about the past year. However, if he’ll come back to the fold and help us again, I’m happy to forgive. He’s one of the best spokesmen for progressive economics. Better than Krugman, imho.
