a quiet word…

Please, no more posting anti-President Obama smears and bile from moronic rags that make the National Enquirer seem credible.

Sorry, but that crap just isn’t welcome here and will be deleted as soon as it appears.

Sorry Chipstsicks….it really had me off the chain.

End of discussion. Please accept my mea culpa. 😦

No worries Sue, you were only replying to that moronic crap, it wasn’t your fault at all. I have to say, I laughed out loud at the ‘story’, it was comical – but I hope they enjoy the Koch dollars they got for planting it 😆

If you’re referring to my post about what I saw on Gawker, I sincerely apologize. I probably should have thought a minute before posting, but I was so furious about the possibility that the NYTimes, which gets respect, was going to publish such a story. I’ve had it with all the anti-Obama stuff, and I was incensed that such a story would be in a so-called legitimate newspaper. Sorry if it was me. Didn’t mean to be a bad girl.

Dotser, you’re completely fine, I was really just referring to the first person who brought it here, everyone else just replied to the crap You’re not a bad girl 😆 Well, I don’t think you are. 😯

Since my comment was the one deleted, I’m gonna assume it was me who was “the first person who brought it here”. I was not trying to post anti-Obama smears or trying to perpetuate some meme. I posted a comment about it because of the reasons that dotser3 expressed above, frustration with NYT and alleged “liberal media” allies felt that such an article was legitimate news.

I won’t say that I’m sorry for posting it, but I will say that I understand why you decided to delete it and I will not be posting anything like it again.

Thank you. Obots really have to be wiser than this and realize that the media are the enemy of this President and all decent Americans and they should be treated accordingly. It bothers the heck out of me every time people come here posting smear campaign nonsense like we saw today. It pisses me off when people come here and post those horrible Maureen Down articles or come here to tell us that Rachael said something racist., etc. I love my fellow Obots, but we have really got to become more savvy. Including myself. I feel like as Obots, our conversations are beginning to be too media focused. And in turn, all it does is strengthen the corporate media.

Many here don’t watch the MSM. Those who do usually come here to report any negative comments, so those who choose can set about to rebut the falsehoods via emails, phone calls, twitter, skywriting, or the like. We can’t just talk among ourselves (although it would be better for our health) – we have to both boycott the media and their sponsors and call ’em out when they present falsehoods to their viewership. We’ve got to support the President that way, by spreading truth – or at least if that’s our individual decision to take up that cause. It’s a delicate line, of course, and it’s not pretty. I can guarantee you that nobody here is enjoying it, no matter which path they take.

BTW, I’m talking about the formerly legitimate news sources (like CNN, etc.) – not the National Enquirer type rags.

I over reacted….depression, suicide, and mental health issues are famiial and personal for me. Should the NYT’s actually print such rubbish I will respond directly to them.

My hair was on FIRE! I’m glad Chipsticks pulled out the fire extinguisher.

Didn’t see the anti-Obama stuff here, glad to say, but I’d just like to add that my adult niece, who is half-British and lives in America told me today that she’s just outraged that President Obama gets NO media coverage when he’s doing amazing things. She said, “George W. Bush would fart in the old days and it would be all over the news for hours!”. And she’s from England and notices that it’s as if our president doesn’t EXIST.

    It’s infuriating. Seriously.
