Before my very eyes, it IS, but he ain’t no baby dinosaur, he is the MAN! Just finished listening to the Detroit speech, small wonder we all love this man, our President! 4 more years, and 4 more after that, and 4 more after that, he can stay in that WH for the rest of my life! No problem! Goodnight everyone, I am totally beat! Take good care, all, and thank you to Chipsticks for her tireless enthusiasm!

Hahaha. I can see why the cartoonist would see that. I mean it totally is “a cartoon baby Tyrannosaurus playing with a ball of yarn.” 😆

ps: reposted from the other thread because it’s important and was just GREAT tv.

Everyone has got to watch Hill Harper’s (the actor from CSI: New York) appearance on Piers Morgan Tonight. He’s been a friend of President Obama for 20+ years and he was great. He didn’t give Piers an inch and refuted the msm BS narrative that PBO is weak or a loser and hasn’t erradicated poverty, yadi yada yah. Hill defended President Obama with facts, truth, facts, and more truth. The show re-airs at 12PM EDT/11PM CDT/9PM PDT on CNN. It was BRILLIANT! and Hill is getting mucho mucho love, thanks, and appreciation on twitter.

    • September 5, 2011 at 10:23 pm

I saw it too. Hill shut that “limey” windbag down.

      • September 6, 2011 at 5:03 am

I am sorry that you have to put up with that ass hat piers morgan! I couldn’t stand him when he was over here and from what I have seen of him since he has been in the US he is even more of a pompous bag of poo. Excuse the language but he is a waste of space not even fit to tie President Obama’s shoe laces let alone comment on him. I remember an article on him in one of our ‘news’ papers saying that he wanted to interview President Obama, I guess the President has better ways to spend his precious time than talking to a half wit interviewer and it probably explains why he (morgan) is so vile toward him – jealousy pure and simple.

Thank for the heads up! I’ll look for it in my lineup, hopefully I’ll be able to catch it!

Just watched it. Hill was awesome despite that ass Piers Morgan’s continuous interruptions. Piers brought up the lie that the AA’s are disappointed with PBO and cited those 3 unscrupulous asses West and his lover Tavis and that idiot Maxine Waters. Piers said PBO was rightfully being criticized for this in his opinion—who gives a frack about his opinion? Seriously Piers? What the frack do you know about AAs? Do you think Mittens or those other asshats care about black folk? This guy is such a joke. Anyway, Hill was like: PBO is working for ALL people, not just AAs ie: health care and education. That’s all Hill could say before that idiot would interrupt him again. Every time it seemed as though Hill was making too much sense to Morgan’s viewers, Morgan would interrupt and ask something stupid, like asking how PBO was on the ball court: Whether he was a ball hog or a “come from behind kinda guy.” Hill responded well telling Old Asshat not to count PBO out. Said that we will win with PBO in the WH. Did I mention I despise Piers Morgan? Total ass. Thank heavens for Hill.

      • September 6, 2011 at 12:44 am

Oh, and another thing. Piers lied and said PBO’s personal approval rating was getting lower on his way to asking Hill another of his oh so riveting questions. PBO’s personal approval numbers have always been higher than his job approval, rating in the 70s. Last I saw, his personal approval was at 71. If that’s low, then down is up and up is down and black is white and left is right. Fricking bastard.

Oh wow, I am so glad the mockery is coming right out of the state of Texas. That really is the place that should temper his arrogance and meanness. Just ~right there~ where it came from.

Seems like he should be attending to the affairs of State, what with parts of Texas being afire/people losing their lives, instead of any debate debut, doesn’t it?

Wsj poll this morning, the president beats both Romney and perry, despite a horrible summer:

    http://thepage.time.com/2011/09/06/remarkably-consistent/

    • September 6, 2011 at 6:29 am

What’s funny in this poll is, they spin it that the generic republican beats Obama and that means doom for Obama!

Lol! Or it could mean a very weak GOP field! Hello!!!

      • 46 anniebella
        September 6, 2011 at 6:46 am

But the Republicans won’t be selecting someone name generic to run against the President, they will be selecting someone with a record, a history they will have to answer for, will have to discuss, etc., etc. So this generic crap is just that crap.

      • September 6, 2011 at 6:49 am

Yep. Twitter is abuzz with the usual suspects, Todd, Staphanapolous, Chris Cilliza with the “bad” poll numbers. Today as we begin, let’s be cognizant of the numbers but our goal is to work hard for PBO’s election.

We saw the people out there yesterday, yet media will be dancing already on PBO’s political grave. We will not give them that satisfaction.

I am not saying ignore the polls, but I am saying don’t let it get you discouraged. The fight is yet to come. PBO beats Romney and Perry, but some in the media won’t tell you that, they will scream about the imaginary Republican savior still in the horizons.

And every time they produce one, after taking a look, people realize the grass is not greener on the other side.

africatimes2, but do they talk about the GOP poll numbers?

          • September 6, 2011 at 6:59 am

No! But they showed Perey saying social security is a ponzi scheme!
He loses Florida on that one issue!
This is why everybody is still so negative, they know the republican candidates are bunk!
The post office Thingy scares me!
The republicans will say they want to help but we need cuts first!
This is another hostage manufactured crisis in the making!
            Bad luck!

          • September 6, 2011 at 7:10 am

In fact Dave Weigel tweets talks about voters wanting to “take out” Democrats. They don’t talk about the Republicans at all. These guys are thinking about their own paychecks, they will do anything to bring Dems and PBO down.

The task is for us to mobilize and use this social media that is the weapon we have to push back harder than ever at them. Until the last vote is cast, it will be left to us to work our collective behinds off doing what it takes to make liars out of them.

Yep, the lead on the MSN news blurb when I turn on the internet from my laptop is that the President is at his all-time low, with 54% disapproving blah blah blah. So, that’s 46% approving? And St. Ronnie and Clinton being in the 30s% at the same time? Context must be a dirty word for too many people.

Oh wow Joe Scarborough, Mika, Pat Buchanan, and Willie demand an apology from President Obama for the rhetoric that Teamsters President James Hoffa used at the labor day event in Detroit yesterday. They began the show by playing a clip of President Obama talking about civility and rhetoric during his 2010 commencement address to the graduating class of the University of Michigan and then began lambasting President Obama for not condemning Hoffa’s words. Reall??!! Seriously??!!! 2 weeks agao a South Carolina teaparty chairwoman use violent rhetoric to threaten POTUS and his family. Where was the outrage from the Morning Joe crew? They read a statement from the teaparty express chairwoman Amy something or other who demanded an apology. Hmmm… maybe when the teaparty apoligizes for their GOP congressmembers who’ve called the President a tar baby, a chimpanzee, sent racist emails with watermelons depicted in the background of the whitehouse, sent other disgusting racist and prejudiced emails, or Limbaugh who’s said the most vile, vitriolic, abhorent things against the President, or when Pat Buchanan called President Obama “boy” or when Joe himself insults and calls President Obama names everyday, or when Sarah Palin apologizes for using crosshairs over Gabrielle Giffords district, then and only then maybe just maybe, Hoffa may apologize. Thanks goodness people are using the above mentioned incidents and many more on twitter to call them out for their hypocricy.

  14. September 6, 2011 at 7:23 am

Debbie wasserman Shultz was on and Joe would not let her talk about Romney!
Joe is a pro and he knows that they can’t talk about the republicans if they want to win!

Joe tried to interrupt her but DWS did indeed talk about Romney and called him out for his flip flopping and pandering to the teaparty. She called out Perry too and she said that she knows PBO will talk about infrastructure on thursday and call on congress, especially the GOP to work with him and get over 6 million people immediately employed. She was great! She didn’t let Joe distort PBO’s record and she said that she is in North Carolina beginning the kick-off of President Obama’s 2012 campaign. She was Fired Up and Ready To Go!

Mirroring other national polls, Texas Gov. Rick Perry moved to the front of the Republican class, emerging as the first choice for 36 percent of voters only three weeks into his campaign.

Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney came in second with 17 percent,

    MITTENS IS TOAST!
