a (very) early heads up

Rolandsmartin.com: Tom Joyner is airing an exclusive interview with President Barack Obama during his Tuesday morning show.

The two-part interview is scheduled to air at 8:50 a.m. EST and at 9:06 a.m. EST.

During the wide-ranging interview, President Obama will outline a plan to create jobs rebuilding roads, bridges and schools. Obama also plans to discuss his strategy on getting his policies passed despite the Republican opposition, and his battle for re-election over the next 17 months.

President Obama also will share some insight on the impact of Hurricane Irene and what he had planned to say during the postponed dedication to the Dr. Martin Luther King Memorial.

The president’s interview will be re-broadcast in its entirety on Monday, Sept. 5th.

Love the President’s smile. He could be a walking talking ad for a Colgate, Crest, Aquafresh, etc. commercial. Rock that amazing shirt Mr. Joyner! Woot! Woot!

Wait, so he’s not going to speak at the dedication when it is rescheduled?

    • August 29, 2011 at 9:58 pm

Where does the article say that? I’m guessing he’ll give the gist of what he was going to say, doesn’t mean he won’t speak at the rescheduled event.

The dedication was canceled and rescheduled at a later time. The small dedication was private.

The group that I was going to DC with for the dedication said that they were trying to reschedule based on the President’s schedule…they want him to be there if he’s able. I think the private dedication was w/MLK’s frat Alpha Phi

      Dear Gail,

I’m so disappointed with Tom Joyner. No one will return my call except CNN, MSNBC and Morning Joke, Corny and Travesty.
I feel so inadequate, irrelevant, ineffectual, vapid, clueless, pitiful. I feel sorry for myself. I’m on my sofa right now stuffing my face with Ben & Jerry’s non fat yogurt.

Guess I am going to have to set my alarm and listen online. I want to hear what he has to say.

Going to the American Legion which usually is very conservative. After all that the President has done for the veterans I hope they treat him with respect.

Questions: Will Mr. Joyner be offered an invite from MSNBC, or CNN? Will he be given space in NYT or WaPoto write an op-ed?

My internet service has been acting up and I have been locked out of my favorite sites. I have been in withdrawal mode. 🙂 BTW, Rev. Al had Tom Journer on his show a few weeks ago. I have a feeling that Rev. Al will invite him back. Tom was heavly defending PBO like he does on his radio show.

Thank Goodness for Tom Joyner is what I have to say.. I’m so over tired of these narcississtic, attention-mongers airing their dirty laundry at the microphone.
