Politicususa: Tea Party darling Christine O’Donnell’s book signing in Republican Naples, Florida drew a total of five people. Five. Five people. That’s it. Just like a Sarah Palin event, the media outnumbered the actual attendees.
Chips, I started to post this link early this morning, but I forgot because I was laughing so hard. She thought that she would follow in Palin’s footsteps and write her non-book and get rich. Palin fooled the teathugs the first time but they didn’t fall for the second book so much. 🙂 I love it. Another example of the teathugs dying breed. I wonder what kind of job is O’Donnell doing or is she still stealing money from that PAC?
I laughed when I read one account of this “big event” where Ms. I am not a witch thanked “all of you for coming out tonight”, all 5 of them. LOL! The tea party is a collaboration between the Koch Bros. and the useful fools they ensnared to do their selfish, greedy dirty work and made possible by a more than willing news media, more interested in airing all the stirred up hateful anger than any truth. The news media gave the tea party legitimacy which it never deserved. The news media abdicated their responsibility and duty to our country, and we have had to suffer the consequences. I think it is true that the tea party flavor has soured, and good riddance. It’s been a shameful moment.
As Fox News would say she had thousands of five people at her book signing. These people are hyped by the media, believe the hype and find themselves flailing in the real world.
What’s the other station airing the show at 11:30AM? Thanks! 🙂 I would love to tape it as well. My DVR is doubly occupied at this time slot and has to remain on one of the stations.
That was really interesting…I may have to get this book. I believe what he says about people seeking out ‘evideence’ of their preconceived ideas and beliefs.
I bookmarked this to read later, but it is just a coincidence that I was thinking earlier today, how some people actually criticized this exact same practice of PBO. During his conference today regarding the hurricane, I listened to him announce his team as “my Secretary of Homeland Security” and also with his FEMA head. I hear him affirming “his presidency” as opposed to someone else, and I thought, so many people really hate to hear him personalize the job. Racists still cannot accept this view of most powerful man in the world. I say tough shit, past time to get used to it.
I KNOW!!!!!! How gross is that? And really..did he think the brown foamy stuff wouldn’t be that bad? Please don’t ban me for poking idiots in the eye:) I LIVE for that:) Thanks, Chips…for ALL you do.
YEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thankyouthankyouthankyou:) They are SOOOOOOOOO much fun to poke at, I can’t help myself…they just kind of make it easy!
well Ms Doris, you get a “penalty” for using the word audacity in the same sentence as this empty head who is ‘not a witch’ – audacity is PBO’s word as far as I am concerned
Wow…I see hundreds of people lining up to shake Christie’s hand. I see everyone whipping out their cameras. I see families hoping to get a quick photo of their infant in Christie’s arms. I see young men and ladies super excited that they just saw Ms. O’Donnell. I see old grannies giving Christie huge hugs. I see school aged children rushing up to stand next to Christie. I see everyone rushing to get their copy of Christie’s book. What an amazing panoramic of love!
I wouldn’t bet on that. I saw a huge production commercial today for CNN hosting some “tea party republican debate” in a few weeks. They are still delusional and trying to sell the public on the idea that the tea party is a force to be reckoned with. It’s not only delusional, it’s dangerous.
Every time I see her I want to hum the theme to Bewitched.
Just to be fair… from the picture the book signing was at Barnes & Noble so I think new hardcovers are usually 20% off. 😐
I’m back from the mandatory evacuation. Here’s the funny thing, we had a lot of trees and branches go down in the surrounding area, but the power stayed on. The cousins we stayed with (because they lived further inland) lost power. 🙄
We left them some batteries and ice packs then drove a very windy ride home (getting lost on the way ’cause I need a GPS).
The only damage we had was a shattered sliding glass door at my grandmother’s and a gutter downspout ripped from the side or our house. We were very lucky.
You all know that was just a rearranged Fly Me To the Moon, right? Bless her heart, NotWitch probably thought storming off a CNN show would get her audience in her corner.
Naples, FL may be republican, but they are not Tea Party republicans. Christine should fire her booking agent for booking her into an area that would never associate with the Tea Party. Zephyrhills would be more her speed (White Nationalists and Skinheads abound), but I don’t think they do a lot of reading there. The problem for Christine and the Tea Partiers is they only talk to and can only attract other Tea Partiers who are as extreme as they are. I’m now wondering who were the five who showed up?
One of the five didn’t want to purchase a book; was just seeking her signature on some religious(?) document or other which she politely refused to sign. Saw this somewhere last night – don’t remember where as I don’t consider her worthy of information retention.
Just like her fellow hollow-skulled grifter from up north, Ms Odonell is not in politics for the public service she can render, but rather see it as an opportunity to use her media-created celebrity for pecuniary considerations.
The media enabled their bagger ilk take control of the house with their endless loop of made-for-tv health care townhall shoutfests. Fortunately, the rest of the country has caught up with their game plan….fool me once…
Wonder if they counted the cop in the background? Looks like they may have!

She’s never had a job. What do you think? 🙂

Tell me again why the MSM gets excited about these boneheads! What a big F’in fraud.
As Fox News would say she had thousands of five people at her book signing. These people are hyped by the media, believe the hype and find themselves flailing in the real world.
Go figure.
“thousands of five people”
LOL. Africa, you are something else. You ain’t lyin though 😀
Hahaha. Good one Africa. Five people showed up. Five people? Were they drunk and just stumbled into the wrong place? Five people?! 😆 😆 😆
heads up, BET is starting the program about FIrst Lady’s trip to Africa NOW
I’m lovin’it. I wish it was longer though.
Love it, too! (Hey, COS, thanks for the heads up earlier – so I could set my DVR.)
You are welcome Ms O’Boomer. It is on now, but I will wait to watch, so that I can fastforward thru the commercials. 🙂
I don’t have BET but I found another station that is airing it tonight at 11:30 so I have set my DVR.
What’s the other station airing the show at 11:30AM? Thanks! 🙂 I would love to tape it as well. My DVR is doubly occupied at this time slot and has to remain on one of the stations.

The naysayers keep trying to catch PBO, but they never can. Thanks for sharing that, desertflower.
My pleasure:)

Very interesting piece. Thank you.
Isn’t the Discovery Channel showing something on 9/11 all about Bush and his lies??? That would be Bush SPEWING his lies!
Desertflower it it the History Channel and I believe it is on tonight.
Actually it is the National Geographic Channel. It is on right now here in SoCal.
Wonder if stupid is a prerequisite to work at FOX? http://thepoliticalcarnival.net/2011/08/28/video-hurricane-irene-reporter-weird-stuff-didnt-taste-great-oops-apparently-it-was-raw-sewage/
Oh. My. God. Just posted it desertflower, I don’t know whether to thank you or ban you for life for passing it on 😆
Chips, I am sure John Stewart is already making a show from this insanity. 🙂
I KNOW!!!!!! How gross is that? And really..did he think the brown foamy stuff wouldn’t be that bad? Please don’t ban me for poking idiots in the eye:) I LIVE for that:) Thanks, Chips…for ALL you do.
Oh, okay, poke away 😆
YEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thankyouthankyouthankyou:) They are SOOOOOOOOO much fun to poke at, I can’t help myself…they just kind of make it easy!
You two crack me up…..! : 0 )
Genius may have its limitations, but stupidity is not thus handicapped. – Elbert Hubbard (1856 – 1915)
Sums it up IMHO.
🙂
Magnificent!
Just a shame. Go away Christine and take your audacity with you.
well Ms Doris, you get a “penalty” for using the word audacity in the same sentence as this empty head who is ‘not a witch’ – audacity is PBO’s word as far as I am concerned
LOL, I take my punishment. That word is too good for her. My bad. 😀

Delusionally yours,
Hope.
Sweet!
I’m glad we’ve got Hope (and PBO and Mrs. O, both of whom crowds DO love) on our side!
I see a visit to the optometrist or the psychiatrist. 😉
Hopefruit, don’t do that to me. You had me. lol
I hope the teabaggers get the message that they have out-lived their welcome and that most people no longer appreciate their stupidity

Glad you and your family are safe. Take care.
You’re all safe and that’s good news.
So glad damage was minimal and that you and yours are safe.
I loved this show:) And “That Girl” with Marlo Thomas…showing my age:)
Me too. I also liked the Mary Tyler Moore show with Lou Grant, Ted Baxter, Murry, Sue Anne (Betty White), and Rhoda.
You all know that was just a rearranged Fly Me To the Moon, right? Bless her heart, NotWitch probably thought storming off a CNN show would get her audience in her corner.
Welcome news! Hope you have a more restful night tonight now that Irene has passed you by.
Oh, thank goodness for your good luck. Hope you continue to be safe!!

Are you a Floridian? Miami, here 🙂
BWA HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

No, I thought he wanted her autograph on someone else’s book!

I’m almost forgetting who this idiot is. So many in the clown closet and they all sound alike. I get confused.
I’M LUVIN IT! The “Clown closet” is a hoot. Can i use that term? 🙂
