Good morning, friends. Our daughter and family arrived safely. She is a total wreck worrying about their home in Chesapeake. Of course, knows she has NO control…..knows they would likely be evacuated so good thing this trip was already planned. I’ve already said a prayer today for the millions who will be affected.
O/T: Here in Knoxville (and around the country and world, for that matter), we are all wearing our orange in support of Pat Summit. In case you haven’t heard, she has been diagnosed with early onset of dementia (Alzheimer’s type). There’s a FB page with thousands and thousands of supporters/like’s. Please join us!!!!!!
For those of you who might not know Pat Summit is only 59 years of age. Tragedy can hit any of us at anytime.
Very sad news about Pat Summitt but I am glad she is staying on as coach – keep fighting that good fight , Coach.
Pat Summit is a hero of mine. This has been such a shock. We all know what a fighter she is and that’s what she’ll continue to do. Peace and Blessings Coach. Thanks for the FB info, tnmtngirl.
Glad Your family is out of harms way live in Houston and lived in Hampton Roads before know all to well about the storms.Tell the daughter not to worry things don’t always turn out bad. I have seen a lot of storms and the Hand of GOD always takes care.
VP Biden is hysterical. I loved the expression on the face of the woman on the left side of the screen when he reached out and pulled the woman into a hug. lol (when the clip moved to .31 to .34 seconds)
Her face was like (what tha!!). Too funny. Biden is great. Gotta love him and his style.
It’s sunny and the water is calm here on the harbor of Baltimore. I pray that Irene weaken and the Chesapeak is not affected.
Good luck to all of you!
Love the video and the personal touch in answering questions from citizens. I do believe that’s White House Prinicpal Deputy Secretary Josh Earnest’s voice. I remember him from the informative, factual, and freaking awesome Martha’s Vineyard Press Briefing.
