a gop candidate finally makes sense

Translation: “Perry and Bachmann are bat-shit crazy, and Romney, frankly, is a loathsome worm. And, to be honest, I’m pretty useless too. So, we have something in common, Piers.”

Karl Rove weighs in on Sarah Palin as a potential presidential candidate and proclaims she is thin skinned. I wonder if there will be enough popcorn available to get us through the Karl Rove and Sarah Palin feud. In the accompanying video, the number of times that Karl Rove manages to say thin skin is hilarious.

Karl Rove Serves Up An Ace With Criticism of Sarah Palin’s Thin Skin

Greta Van Sustern lost control of the narrative tonight on her Fox show, as Karl Rove got in shot after shot to Greta’s BFF Sarah Palin (Greta’s husband is the unofficial man behind SarahPAC). Rove served an ace with his numerous references to Sarah Palin’s thin skin. Thin skin does not a Presidential candidate make.
    Rove said…

“I’m mystified,” he admitted, “that she’s all upset about this, that I’m somehow trying to sabotage her campaign, sabotage her in some way, and how dare I speculate on her future.” Rove also responded angrily that “if she doesn’t want to be speculated about as a potential presidential candidate, there’s an easy way to end the speculation,” yet whenever the issue comes up, “she says ‘I haven’t made a decision.” Rove concluded adding a jab at Palin’s lust for attention, calling it a “sign of enormous thin skin that if we speculate about her, she gets upset, and I suspect that if we didn’t speculate about her, she’d be upset about it and trying to find a way to get us to speculate about her.”

Instead of measuring these Republicans against the crazies out there today, or GWB or RR, they should be measured against Eisenhower. He spoke sense and acted with sense. He would be appalled at today’s Republicans. These guys should raise the bar. Bachmann is no standard to go up against!!! I think Eisenhower should have been a Democrat.

I don’t like all this “new” coverage Huntsman is getting. Though I still don’t see any possible path to the nomination, he’s getting too much praise as a likable moderate “truth teller”. Of course that will be a solid rep to start 2016 campaign off with.

He is this week’s darling. Trump, Bachmann, Paul, Romney, now Perry. One commentator said what this shows is that the Republicans still aren’t happy with their field, so run after any new face. Even the media couldn’t make Huntsman raise his ratings.
I’m not worried about 2016. Think of all the time between now and then. In 2003 was ANYONE mentioning Barack Obama as a presidential possibility????? I believe that President Obama’s second term will be so constructive that we won’t really worry about Repubs….Our job is 2012.

Everytime Huntsman speaks all I hear is “Blah Blah Blah.” He’s soooooooooo amazingly boring and lifeless.

Sounds like a foreigner to me. Isn’t that a commie language he’s talking? What if he’s a Manchurian candidate? I demand to see his birth certificate!
