Melissa Harris-Perry (guest hosting for Lawrence O’Donnell) last night had an excellent segment on the unhinged and deranged GOP presidential candidates. The opening clip detailing many of the outlandish and wacky comments is a goldmine for Democratic Party campaign ads.
I was a bit offended by the HuffPost analysit’s claim that people don’t know what President Obama stands for except that they know he can compromise. Such an analysis, in my humble opinion, demonstrates intellectual laziness. It’s simply repeating the propaganda meme by the “holier than thou” progressives that people like her boss, Arianna Huffington, have been pushing. Why not check the record of what President Obama has done. To tell you the truth, I was also disappointed that Prof. Harris-Perry did not engage on this issue.
