That’s our man — THE Man! Our Nobel Peace Prize Winner and Inspirer-in-Chief!
I haven’t watched any media today, and I think I’ll keep it that way. Congrats and good luck to the people of Libya and best wishes for a bright new beginning and brilliant future free from dictatorship.
Chipsticks you are a roll. Been hanging in the Presidents Shadow so much you know how to twist the minds of the GREED OVER PEOPLE PARTY too with a smile and a wink.
Ah Wesley, thank you!!! Although, it should be said, if the President had my temperament he’d have been successfully impeached by now for inserting a cruise missile up the collectives asses of the Teapublicans. So, just be grateful he’s your President and not me.
Sue, now that is what we call a”” Big Gigantic Deal.”” You go Chips. You sure you have a purse large enough for that thing? If not we know what to get you for your next birthday.
The President just gave a statement President Obama: Gadhafi must ‘acknowledge the reality that he no longer controls Libya. He needs to relinquish power once and for all’
Looooooooooove the pic of our radiant, glowing FLOTUS a previous thread. From what I could see, she looks well rested, which is very nice. Just beautiful. Sigh. :-).
Seriously, CHips. I fracking love this photo of PBO!!! US Military needs to use it as a recruiting poster. Soon as I get my other computer back this is gonna be my new background. Fricking awesome. Sexy never looked so presidential, baby yum yum. That right there is MY man 🙂 🙂 😉
Seriously Sue, that photo has to be speaking a trillion watts , and of course all of them very good. We have our orders, brains, compassion, honesty, great personality, and just plain ole fineeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, we have to re-elect this President.
Posted this on the other thread but still can’t stop laughing.

GOP trying desperately to figure out how they can be on the side of Gaddafi. I mean President Obama & THE FRENCH were against him. #p2
Maybe we need to let the fast food places we go to they need to drop Coke! A full boycott of Coca Cola and all the companies that won’t invest in the American people.
That’s MY President. He just dealt the GOP and the Media a big can of STFU while sipping that “elite highbrow Martha’s Vineyard Chai Latte.” I’m sure Jane Hamsher is furiously sending fundraising emails that reek of desperation.
I read oil prices are supposed to start dropping as early as tomorrow but it will be months before full effects to be felt. But that’s good news, right? Lower gas prices for the election?
yeah, I heard Venezuela and Russia are two of the countries that don’t recognize the International Criminal Court’s jurisdiction. Heard if he fled, he’d go to one of those countries.
If that’s true, he’s gone. I would have preferred it if he was captured to stand trial but freedom is more improtant than revenge. I have to say, the rebels have done well to be ‘magnanimous in victory’.
What this President did with Libya is a reminder and a lesson to other nations…that we can seek democracy without invasion, to let the people exercise democracy at their own pace….He had the Left the Right wanting specifics…about his handling of Libya…some even asked for impeachment…..while all along was working with Nato and other allies in training the rebels, supplied them with everything they needed including enormous intelligence…BUT troops on the ground…as promised, He fulfilled his promise to the American people beyond expectations…..
We Salute you Mr. President
I wonder what is little Napoleon (Kucinich) doing right now? The 3 stooges (Lieberman, Graham and McCain) have already tried to make statemenys taking credit fow what is happening in Libya today.
Apparently today, he wrote a silly delusional commentary in the Guardian still belaboring the idea that Gaddafi declared a ceasefire that was ignored by the rebels and NATO forces. Even the folks on Old Orange have had it with him and are embarrassed by his antics. That says a whole lot.
COS, Kucinich is probably trying to find a place to eat breakfast where they do not serve ‘Eggs on the Face’, and Senators Lieberman, Graham, and McCain are yelling,”He did it to us again, darn it.” Shameless fools.
This is indeed a wonderful day! First, I am so happy to see the end of dictatorship in Libya. Second, I am happy that the President has been vindicated.
Kasai, I wonder if we should wake up Tweety? “The President just does not have anyone who is following him anymore. ” Where is his base anymore? And all of that off meds talk. Wake up Tweety, things are happening with this President, and they are things for the good of people all around the world.
HZ…lol…..I can’t wait how he will spin this one……PBO always end up winning…his critics always underestimate the brilliance of this President no matter what he does…but people are starting to wake up…I posted down the blog what Tweeterland is saying…Lots of Props dot the President…even from some in the Arab countries are thanking PBO.
They said David Gergen acknowledged that he and others misjudged the President’s approach. Nice of him to make that concession…..but we never thought he was right to begin with, this time or any time. What is most consistent about the punditry is that they are consistently wrong. They are a bunch over paid, over exposed flame throwers.
I just thought of something. There is probably a ‘run on toilet paper’ tonight because a lot of the pundits are going to be running to the toilet all week now. Then maybe we will have a little rest from the ugly smell of the stuff they are peddling everyday. Stock up, you clowns.
I just love you, Chipsticks! (And the man in the image.)
Love ya right back, Jacquelineoboomer!!!!!!
Me too!
Me too, JO’B!
NEVER UNEVENTFUL. . .
And he’s as cool as a cucumber.

That will get their attention….hard not to respect that!
Sue, now that is what we call a”” Big Gigantic Deal.”” You go Chips. You sure you have a purse large enough for that thing? If not we know what to get you for your next birthday.
Girl, you have got me laughing 😀

Great one!
On other news, while the Nations unemployment is over 9.% and need American companies to invest in our people
Guess Where Coca-Cola Is Investing $4 Billion
http://news.yahoo.com/guess-where-coca-cola-investing-4-billion-015616584.html
I never did like coke. I definitely won’t now!
I totally agree. I occasionally have a Coca-Cola but not anymore. If they can’t support American jobs, I will not support them.
Go make the Chinese fat. Having a Coke a day rather than a glass of water will see you gain 16lbs over one year.
And diabetic, and there is nothing good about that.
I’m a Pepsi girl myself
Maybe we need to let the fast food places we go to they need to drop Coke! A full boycott of Coca Cola and all the companies that won’t invest in the American people.
RT“@Adenovir: Fox News planning to announce the fall of Qadaffi as soon as they can find #Libya on a map.”/ ROFL
hahahhaahahahahahahahhahhahahhahahahhahahahhahahahhaa!!!
Esmerelda what are you on twitter? I am MTmarilyn2.
Turtleofzen. Will follow you if I haven’t already.
LOL Esmeralda….now that’s hilarious !!
I saw that earlier, I couldn’t stop laughing lol
I have to admit, a lot of tweets tonight are informative but many are freaking hilarious,.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!Good one! 🙂
That’s MY President. He just dealt the GOP and the Media a big can of STFU while sipping that “elite highbrow Martha’s Vineyard Chai Latte.” I’m sure Jane Hamsher is furiously sending fundraising emails that reek of desperation.
She’s still in jail. At east last I heard.
Can they keep her there?
LOL.
Maybe she and qaddafi can start a dating service – while in jail.
Hope, now that just cold, lol.
And contaminate the jail. Oh no. We can’t have that.
I read oil prices are supposed to start dropping as early as tomorrow but it will be months before full effects to be felt. But that’s good news, right? Lower gas prices for the election?
I’ll believe it when I see it. The barrel is around $90, meaning we should be paying MUCH, MUCH less at the pump already.
Good news.
The man is just awesome. Lucky Michelle.
I just love that photo.
lucky us too 🙂
President’s statement said that Ghaddafi no longer in control of Libya 🙂 He must have intelligence Info…Maybe Nato has taken over…
Apparently Gaddafi is fleeing to Venezuela.
yeah, I heard Venezuela and Russia are two of the countries that don’t recognize the International Criminal Court’s jurisdiction. Heard if he fled, he’d go to one of those countries.
If that’s true, he’s gone. I would have preferred it if he was captured to stand trial but freedom is more improtant than revenge. I have to say, the rebels have done well to be ‘magnanimous in victory’.
Hope this hasn’t been posted before. Note the American flag in the background – photo of crowd in Tripoli:

PROMISE MADE…..PROMISE KEPT
People are gathering outside the White House:-)
is there coverage of this?
MSNBC had a shot of white house..but no coverage yet
MSNBC is trying to wake up Tweety so he can cover it.
This is indeed a wonderful day! First, I am so happy to see the end of dictatorship in Libya. Second, I am happy that the President has been vindicated.
Libyan Americans celebrating outside WH…it’s kinda dark.. but you can see what’s going on via tweeter.

Congratulations to the people of Libya!!!!!!!
Tweeter is on Fire tonight ..here some of what is being said… LOL
Fox News reports: “Events in Libya are unfolding faster than we can make them up.” #Libya
When asked if she would recognize Libya, Bachmann said, “You mean like on a map?”
BREAKING: House won’t accept Gaddafi surrender w/out cuts to Medicare & SS, & no revenue increases.” #p2 #tcot
Gadhafi’s fall is being celebrated everywhere, except at the RNC & Tea Party meetings in mobile home parks across the US. (
Dear Michael Moore: If you need help spinning this, I think Frank Luntz will consult to professional blowhards. #p2
LOL :O)
Ouch…they are getting spanked. Ridicule that is well deserved.
