i’ll have a bye-bye-bin-laden-mubarak-gaddafi sandwich please

President Obama visits Nancy’s seafood restaurant in Oak Bluffs on Martha’s Vineyard, August 21

MVT: POTUS emerged from Nancy’s at 8:24 pm, holding FLOTUS’s hand.

Then ducked into SUV and motorcade made quick one-minute trip to home near waterfront in Oak Bluffs where Valerie Jarrett is staying and where the first family is expected to stay for dinner. WH says they are dining with friends.

The SS agent there seems to have replaced everybodies favorite Joe Clancy. Older, experienced hand, always closest to the President.

    • August 21, 2011 at 8:44 pm

      I guess Joe retired. 😦 😦 😦 😦 😦 —— I think I’n gonna cry 😦

      • August 21, 2011 at 8:46 pm

No, no, no. They always trade off. It’a been that way for the last 4 years. I really doubt that Clancy has retired. He’s probably just taking a break. He’ll be back!!

Probably just cycled out. Keep the eyes and ears fresh and give the agent with arguably the hardest, most stressful job a break. Job must be even harder now with everybody having a smartphone camera of some sort – before you just had to scan for empty hands now you have to be able to identify potential weapons in a sea of black and shiny, not to mention the possibility of a weapon disguised as a camera phone.

Chipsticks, I am one of those people who almost never swears but with titles like “i’ll have a bye-bye-bin-laden-mubarak-gaddafi sandwich please”, please allow me to say that “Damn you are good – excelent and quick mind”!! no wonder you adore a The Brilliant One (President Barack Obama).

We have to remind all of those Obama doubters that he is always coming out ahead

  6. August 21, 2011 at 8:43 pm

When are people going to realize how intelligent Obama truly is??? I mean if we would just let him handle the economy HIS way, we wouldn’t be in this mess! We’re all so blessed to have such a wonderful President!

[Right. I just emailed this to Andrea Mitchell. Last time I emailed her, I heard back – she was begging to differ. Ha!]

I’m not watching MSNBC anymore because of the President Obama bashing, but just heard on a blog that you said it was awkward for the President to be on vacation during the takedown of Gaddafi.

If true, may I remind you he was at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner when bin Laden was being hunted down.

And I’m guessing you were there with him. Awkward?

What does any of this have to do with being a news reporter?

        • August 21, 2011 at 9:00 pm

Andrea Mitchell started that tripe and some reporter chick named Christian or something who is on MV with PBO repeated it. Don’t matter where PBO is, he could be on the backside of Timbuktu, or right in the middle of Bum**ck New Zealand, what he says goes and what he wants is the only thing that matters. Mitchell and her nasty, useless ilk can go and frack ’emselves. They just can’t help themselves. They have to criticize him for something. They just can’t give him his props and let bygones be bygones. Nasty freaks 😑

            • August 21, 2011 at 9:12 pm

she said that it was awkward for PBO not to be in Washington when something like this is going on. Does she not realize she’s on cam-e-ra and that she is being re-cor-ded? πŸ™„

some guest on Al Jazeera giving props to PBO and saying this was a muscular strategy by PBO for which he got alot of criticism from GOP. The guy said PBo was vindicated tonight!!! That’s right, baby!!!!! PBO is the bomb digidy!!!!

Then he gives that big trillion dollar smile and wave to the news people and we know what he is thinking. I love our President. Smart and fine as they come, in my lifetime. Teabaggers on twitter are going batshit crazy! They’re sooooo mad that President Obama is rightfully getting the credit he deserves. They’ve been tweeting me angry nonsensical tweets that don’t make sense. One of them tweeted to me that this GWB’s win just like OBL was GWB’s win. I told her you’re a dumbass, we’re retaining the WH in 2012, we’re coming for Congress and it sucks to be you right now and promptly BLOCKED her. Her avatar was a cartoon character wearing a KKK hood. Gosh…. all republicans aren’t racists, but all racists are republicans. I loooove the twitter block button.

          August 22, 2011 at 1:34 am

nospin….Amazing! The President was there to sell HCR but he figured out pretty quick that 99% of the audience were already sold and were just excited to see him. There were thousands of people in the room and they were doing “the wave”. There were people in Obama hats, t-shirts, you name it. They had the big screen on as soon as he landed at the airport so the whole room could see him greet the people there and the entire crowd went “Aaaawwwwww” when he picked up a baby. We left the building chanting “Fired up! Ready to go!!” There was a young man outside saying “He touched me!” He was by himself but was so excited he was telling strangers and we were all congratulating him. I was pretty far back from the President but I think that this President is a part of history and I did not want to miss the opportunity to see him and to hear him speak. This story of the little old lady in the hat who was all “Fired up! Ready to go!!” really got the crowd hopping. Even more than they were already. It was great! It’s fair to say that we were extremely enthusiastic!
