Talk to Paul Ryan? It’ll cost you

There’s an online comic that I read called “Curvy”. Definitely NSFW, but hilarious nevertheless. The premise of the strip is that an Earth girl falls in love with a fleeing princess made of candy, and joins her on various adventures through parallel universes. In the current chapter the Earth girl—Anais—is trapped on Corporate World, where every human interaction has a monetary value. Paul Ryan would thrive on that world.

Despite the media trying to say other word, this bus trip so far have been a success, looking forward till tomorrow. Then I’m sure the President is looking forward to going to Marth’s Vineyard to spend some time with Michelle and the girls. And Bo too.

If only my husband’s “bum” looked half as good in his Dockers as PBO’s does… I’d have to sit on my hands 😉

The picture was cute. The little boy holding up a sign saying “We’re Not With Them.” when referring to a group of protesters. 🙂

The video was also cute. The little girl with her “Welcome Obama” sign and I laughed in delight when she said “I have a Barack Obama shirt, and a Barack Obama button, and a Barack Obama calendar, and a Barack Obama traveling bag, and another Barack Obama shirt” So cute. And then her dad says “Does daddy make you watch fox news?” and she says “no.” Ahhhh….. sanity. 🙂

Mr. President don’t throw out goodies to the Press Corp’s Mark Knoller- he’s a snarky snide little scammer and deserves no snacks. Otherwise carry on sir- you’ve been rocking the country just fine while the GOP candidates are merely rocking their own sinking boat 😉

Yes, but you know how wonderfully nice our President is even with these snarky and snide people in the press. We had to give Mark Knoller a little talk on twitter this afternoon.

Oh, how much better this pic of him eating the soft ice cream that that crazy woman and her corn dog at the fair. I could look at this pic all night…and I may.

Doesn’t Souza know how to get a good pic???? The eyes on those two girls caught in the space of POTUS’s elbows. Great pic!

Thanks for the link. The comments on Yahoo are sometimes horrendous but they are not so bad today. I went on there and had a good rant about the do nothing Congress.

Jay Carney really looks gorgeous. He’s wearing to die for wayfarers. I want PBO to wear some wayfarer shades just once. *Swoon.* Love love the pictures. President Obama really is a man of the people and the pictures 100% reflect that. Plus, the dog is so cute with it’s pet cat dangling from its mouth. 🙂

I love Jay Carney. The stress of the debt ceiling debate was bad but it had it’s compensations. Almost daily press briefings with Jay Carney. I almost forgot the economy was in danger of tanking……..so entranced I was.

Has there ever been a better looking administration? I’ll answer that. No! 😉

I was thinking the same thoughts Walking on Sunshine. He has the most attractive staff working for him. I have never seen such a sharp, good-looking, and smart group of young and older staff working in the Whitehouse. We are so blessed with this President. Such a representation of what the people look like in America. He is so natural with people.

Why is it that the President looks so delightful eating an ice cream cone, and Bachman and Perry look just plain gross eating corn dogs!!! I am so happy for him getting out of D.C. seeing us, the real Americans, who work hard every day and don’t find it necessary to get our faces on TV! He is obviously enjoying this. He’s got that big wonderful smile back all the time!
I think the press corps doesn’t like to get out of D.C. Chances are they’ll experience things that will upset their D.C. bubble mindset. They should be out and about ALL THE TIME!!! Not holed up in the White House basement transcribing what everyone else writes!!! They need to do their own research, on site! They just read someone else’s reports and copy.
They’re going to have to work hard to keep up with our Prez! They could sleep the entire month of August with George W, those who didn’t have to to go hot-as-Hades Crawford, TX.

      August 16, 2011 at 11:12 pm

Ed will be waiting a long time if he thinks PBO is ever going to “consult” with him before he says/does anything. Ed keeps doing the same thing, and he keeps looking stupid. His rants tell me that he is either not well read about where PBO stands on the issues, or he has a really crappy research team at MSNBC. It wouldn’t surprise me if he is the next one on the MSNBC chopping block. Nothing would please me more than having both Ed and Cenk off the air forever.

Ed still couldn’t be bothered to listen to the entire town hall — that would be just too taxing for his two brain cells. They get so overheated.
