There’s an online comic that I read called “Curvy”. Definitely NSFW, but hilarious nevertheless. I love Jay Carney. The stress of the debt ceiling debate was bad but it had it’s compensations. Almost daily press briefings with Jay Carney. I almost forgot the economy was in danger of tanking……..so entranced I was.

I was thinking the same thoughts Walking on Sunshine. He has the most attractive staff working for him. I have never seen such a sharp, good-looking, and smart group of young and older staff working in the Whitehouse. We are so blessed with this President. Such a representation of what the people look like in America. He is so natural with people.

Why is it that the President looks so delightful eating an ice cream cone, and Bachman and Perry look just plain gross eating corn dogs!!! I am so happy for him getting out of D.C. seeing us, the real Americans, who work hard every day and don’t find it necessary to get our faces on TV! He is obviously enjoying this. He’s got that big wonderful smile back all the time!
I think the press corps doesn’t like to get out of D.C. Chances are they’ll experience things that will upset their D.C. bubble mindset. They should be out and about ALL THE TIME!!! Not holed up in the White House basement transcribing what everyone else writes!!! They need to do their own research, on site! They just read someone else’s reports and copy.
They’re going to have to work hard to keep up with our Prez! They could sleep the entire month of August with George W, those who didn’t have to to go hot-as-Hades Crawford, TX.

His rants tell me that he is either not well read about where PBO stands on the issues, or he has a really crappy research team at MSNBC. It wouldn’t surprise me if he is the next one on the MSNBC chopping block. Nothing would please me more than having both Ed and Cenk off the air forever.
Ed still couldn’t be bothered to listen to the entire town hall — that would be just too taxing for his two brain cells. They get so overheated.
