She could have avoided this one. She keep putting her foot in her mouth.

Trouble with these candidates is that if you call them out on their mistakes, they don’t care because they don’t want or need to be accurate. Even about Elvis.

If Bachmann is playing Elvis music without permission, hmmm … I can’t believe Priscilla Presley and the estate would be Bachmann supporters, but you never know.

    • August 16, 2011 at 6:27 pm

That’s the thing. Michelle could have avoided A LOT of things. What is going on with her team? Are they just as dumb? Is this part of their strategy? Is her team sabotaging her candidacy and she’s too dumb to know it?

    • August 16, 2011 at 7:01 pm

She don’t know when Elvis birthday is and when the day he died was. To be honest, she don’t know alot of things. She haven’t done a darn thing all the years she has been in Congress, unless you count the light bulb.

Too bad the dead cannot take the rights away from playing their songs for political campaigns! I remember when John McCain was using a song without permission for his campaign and was sued by whatever group it was for not getting permission to use their music.

Obama Grandmama – Didn’t the musical group that wouldn’t let McCain use their song also come out and say they were PRO OBAMA??!!! That alone was worth the price of admission. 🙂

Our own Ann Wilson of HEART, here in Seattle had her PR people send a cease and desist order to brickhead palin telling her she certainly could NOT use the song Barracuda to sell her gimmicky self to the public. HEART rocks, no pun intended!

    • August 17, 2011 at 8:58 am

Yeah, “this must be one of the many disadvantages of being dead” …

As a Memphian and a devoted Elvis Aaron Presley supporter, this has to be in the top ten of dumb things she has uttered.

Heartbreak Hotel was my first 45. Played the grooves out of it. My dad would come home and say, “Turn the racket down!”. It was risque’ at the time, LOL.
Visited Graceland when we were in Memphis for a daughter’s tennis tourney. It was amazing that hundreds of bouquets were still arriving daily years after his death.

I was a little luckier. When Elvis first appeared on the Ed Sullivan Show, my sisters and I were sitting on the floor in front of the TV to get a better look. And my Mother was sitting right there with us! (I got to take her to an Elvis concert decades later – one of his last – which she loved!)

In caring for my Mother, who was dependent and confined to bed I used to play videos of musicians from the 50’s for her, we both loved music and it kept her entertained, Roy Orbison, Nat King Cole and Elvis were her favorites. Elvis Presley back in the day was OMG hot! I remember loving his movies, getting dropped off for the Saturday afternoon double features. I forgot how nuts I was about him.

        Michelle Bachmann is a dullard.

Gosh what an idiot. i’m not even an elvis fan and I knew that.

  6. August 16, 2011 at 5:59 pm

    Pandering fool…

And she’s terrible on the stump. I mean trying to get everybody to say “Happy Birthday Elvis” would have been incredibly lame even if it was his birth day.

I know—–awkward—–and strange. Now if she would have said to say happy birthday to Liberace because my husband looks exactly like him, that would have made more sense.

I like that about her :D! All the opponents of PBO are showing how smart and kind hearted they are to the American people before the REAL fire begins! It’s soooooo delightful to watch!! They all look more and more stupid by the day. PBO doesn’t have to say much just let these idiots talk 😆

Oooooh Rev Al is going to call Paul Ryan out for charging his constituents $15 to ask him questions at a townhall. Ryan always looks to me like the perfect example of a selfish, narcissistic sociopath. Oh Duh *smacks face* ….. he worships at the feet of Ayn Rand. Of course he’s a selfish jerk.

    No kidding, what an idiot,

I see on twitter the same crap about Michael Moore pushing for Matt Damon or anyone to primary the President, him and his FDL crowd or DK.

I did a quick research for what was his reasons to back Nader, if it was the same crap. I just copied a couple of sentences from the interview, Was he freaking wrong or what, I guess he didn’t learn anything, they really really don’t care, absolutely don’t, they won’t vote for President Obama the same way they didn’t vote for Gore, they’re extremists, period. The Iraq war, collapse of the economy, right wing judges on the supreme court and so on., yep, not a good reason to support the President.

Bleyer: What do you say to the question that’s on a lot of people’s minds, is a vote for Nader a vote for Bush?

Michael Moore: Number one, Bush is not going to win. I truly believe that, because the people of this country are not that stupid. He’s behind 52 to 38 (percent) right now and every week he goes lower and lower. He’s going to continue to sink like a stone.

Gore doesn’t own these people. He has to earn their vote, and I personally believe that a vote for Gore is a vote for Bush. It might be a kinder, gentler version of it, but still it’s a vote for one of the two people running who are sponsored by big business.

And look where that dumb riling up of support for that idiot called Nader got us. 8 messed up years of GWB. Thank you Michael. Thank you; you moronic emoprog.

I am sick of seeing Michael Steele.

    • 34 Chi
      August 16, 2011 at 7:06 pm

Michael Steele is so self-loathing it hurts…

Add the pathetic Ron Christie to that mix…

They must both self-medicate to numb themselves from their disgusting greed and struggle for relevance…

The self-loathing and greed that fuels the sale of their souls and mediocre voices to advance the evil interests of people who will never respect them, will always hate them but will purchase their black faces to advance their destructive agenda – one that prioritizes harming people who look just like them…

The never-ending story of self-loathing a la Michael Steele and Ron Christie: Pledging allegiance in return for cash and a bit of gratuituous media facetime and zero respect, to those who hate and will destroy and discard you when they no longer have any use for your black face…

    • August 16, 2011 at 7:13 pm

I think Rev. Al should keep Steele off his show.

Wolf Blitzer is such an idiot. He just told PBO that according to CNN’s “official” poll 74% of Americans wants a Balanced Budget Amendment. PBO laughed and told him; “That’s not true. 100% of Americans wants Congress to work in concert with me to get this economy on sound footing.” Wolf tried to play the okey doke BS poll and PBO called him out on it. Yay! President Obama 🙂

President Obama, you continue to make me speechless with admiration!

    • August 16, 2011 at 6:32 pm

WTF?! What? So instead of informing his audience that its a crazy stupid idea, Wold tries to make it seem normal?

      August 16, 2011 at 6:42 pm

My husband just said there is no one who can answer questions like President Obama. Wolf was trying with some (dumb) difficult questions, and Obama just hits it out of the park every time. He answers questions on the spot in the best way possible. There is no better answer than the answers he gives. It’s a beautiful thing to witness. And we were just shuddering picturing any of the Repub candidates, who just shout “One Term President” and other moronic soundbites, trying to answer those same questions in any kind of comparable way. None of them are even close to being on the same level as Obama.

Maybe Marcia Kaptor should be president since she keep saying where the Presidnet need t be. She was on Rev. Al.

    • August 16, 2011 at 6:39 pm

What did she say? I was on the phone with my daughter and “tried” to listen to both, but didn’t work. 🙂 Please, someone tell me what she said. Thanks!

This and the corn dog photo should get her handlers fired.

I am soooooooooooooo SICK, sick, sick, SICK, talking projectile-vomiting sick of “We need to take our country back”. IT’S NOT YOUR COUNTRY. NO. NOT. NOT EVER. WASN’T. ISN’T. America belongs to ALL AMERICANS. 340 million plus of diversity. These pathetic, childish freaks need to be called out strong and often on that lie.

    Ok, deep breathes…..I’ll be ok….

Good advice…breathe……It will be ok, we, with the help of our AWESOME President will see to it.

But I have to agree with you Dave, that is a very offensive and exclusionary slogan. But look at who we are dealing with…..The Republican Party is like a frickin 3 ring circus. Waiting for them to totally implode.

I really believe in my heart having lived in the south for the first 17 years of my life that those words are a code phrase of expression of really how they truly feel. This is their WH and their country and they do not consider themselves a part of it as long as President Barack Obama is sitting in that Oval Office. I know exactly what they mean. That shows just how ugly, hateful, and sad these people are in their hearts.

Embarrassing but these people have no shame – and the dumb azz followers blindly following like sheep. SMDH not a good look!
