the luckiest people….

TPM: Well, that was quick. Several hours after Mitt Romney told an Iowa heckler that “corporations are people, my friend” the DNC is up with a video lampooning the quote. Featuring the smooth sounds of Barbara Streisand’s “People,” no less.

    August 12, 2011 at 11:38 am

It didn’t make sense to me that Prez Obama would change who he is as he was adament about not making personal attacks on opponents during the Primary and GE in 2008. He let people go so quickly when they said something questionable. I knew something was up with that or that someone working for him said it without PBO’s knowledge or permission. Trying to get people to change their impression of PBO is ongoing.

It never will work Obama Grandmama. If you can read or re-read the excellent book written by David Plouffe, “The Audacity To Win.” , Please pick up a copy. Read pages 42-43 just to see how President Obama does not tolerate this type of thinking or campaign trashing. He is above that foolish. We will focus on the goodness of our President and his team. He is serious about this. If President Barack Obama does not work another day in his current position, because of the core of his being, he will be fine. Plus, he will continue to go on and help change the world for the better. That is who this man is. He is stronger than these clown and foolish men and women. He is the brightest light I have seen in my lifetime, and I believe in my heart , he is the right man for thse times. We just need to be fully engaged, know the real President Obama for ourselves, and move forward. We can and Will Win this. HZ

Lisa, this mess is coming out bold and lovely about these two ‘tools.’ Remember, “No weapon formed again will prosper.” These people are evil. That is a strong word, but I call them for what they are. Evil ment spewing evil works. They will have a day to ask for forgiveness to what they are doing to put blocks in this President’s way. It will come, believe me. I called that Ms. Joann Watson in Detroit and gave her some words to ponder on also. These people are mean spirited people, and that is why we will move with President Obama and help in the beautiful and hard working manner that we all can for our nation. Love you back also, Lisa. Huh. According to CNN consumer confidence is way down and that’s all they’re reporting. Imagine that.

      • August 12, 2011 at 12:10 pm

When every station and the GOP are constantly droning on about how bad things are – of course it will have an effect. In days gone by the President showed confidence would be enough – not it’s dissected and called politics and deconstructed by pundits to what it all really means. Before the Presidency was treated like the Wizard of Oz, now everybody wants to show that they know the inside game, that somebody’s behind the curtain.

The mentally challenged are not retarded, as they grow according to their natural ability. The people who whine about PBO, on the other hand, are retarded—-means slowed—-by their own inclinations to detriment. At least, this is my take, and I’m sticking to it.

This DNC ad is fabulous. I will give a small donation, but a donation nonetheless to the DNC and thank them.

People are getting this message! A mistrust of the wealthy cuts across politics, religion, race or anything else that can be manipulated to divide people against each other.

The Democrats are doing a great job of getting this message out and it will be rich material for them all along the way.

Suzanne, thanks for your comments. That is where it will count for us on the ground. Give as much or whatever we all can afford so that the DNC can get more ads out like this. Message is one of the best keys in this upcoming campaign. Democrats coming together is another. Being positive and not allowing the bashing and trashing of our President is the other. Focus on his message to us and our message to the masses. Let’s get it done. Pray, meditate, use quiet times to ask for wisdom for our President, keep calm when we can and must, lean on each other here when we get too wrary, but TRUST in our faith, and our President. We will win this for the seniors on taking half a pill per day; the young children who will not be able to get into preschool, the overcrowed classroom this fall; the no after school programs to keep out young people out of unwanted trouble; the great after-school programs cut short; the city firemen and women who have no unions to take their cases to now, and I could go on and on.. we have to keep this President’s back for sure. Who can you all name who has our hack now? Just name one politician. Trust in your God of your own choosing of faith, and trust in the President who has gone to the battlefield for us since he sat down in that Oval Office, and really before he took that oath to that office. “Wake Up Everybody” remember that one. It is time. Love you all very much.HZ

I’m posting this because I received a few tweets last night about Donna Brazile, after I sent her this, when she asked who was the winner and loser of the night (debate) :

    ChristiMtl ChristiMtl
@donnabrazile Well the loser is still you for recommending Drew Westen piece of trash and the winner is and will always be President Obama

Some asked me if she had been hacked, why would she recommend that, and so on.

They all recommended it, all the PL!! So no, her account wasn’t hacked.

Katrina Vanden Heuvel recommended it as well,
Even Jonathan Alter liked it, expect he disagreed that the President could have pass a much larger stimulus easily.

Noticed how they all piled on the President last week? All of them, Ron Reagan as well. They all called him weak, not a leader. It was disgusting.

I just copied a part of that piece of trash from Drew Westen

Those of us who were bewitched by his eloquence on the campaign trail chose to ignore some disquieting aspects of his biography: that he had accomplished very little before he ran for president, having never run a business or a state; that he had a singularly unremarkable career as a law professor, publishing nothing in 12 years at the University of Chicago other than an autobiography; and that, before joining the United States Senate, he had voted “present” (instead of “yea” or “nay”) 130 times, sometimes dodging difficult issues.

If this doesn’t sound right wing crap, I don’t know what is….

    • August 12, 2011 at 12:47 pm

Good for you! I went at Donna Brazile a few times, too. When I saw her tweet, I almost fell off my chair. She is a high Dem official and she’s spewing that crap? She hasn’t responded to anyone, has she?

    • August 12, 2011 at 12:54 pm

One of the parts he had in his piece that was really offensive was toward the end which I thought were complete Republican talking points when he talked about the president having no experience and something about a character defect. That was belittling him and quite disturbing to me.

        August 12, 2011 at 1:00 pm

Can’t be more right wing than that right? voting present, no experience. It’s like something coming out of Palin’s mouth.

“Even Jonathan Alter liked it, expect he disagreed that the President could have pass a much larger stimulus easily”

I’m reading his book “The Promise” now, and I find some insight invaluable, yet I don’t care for his overall tone. These people who write books always get my gander up because it’s just a way to make money, and PBO is a hot commodity. The danger to them is, he winds up flaming their asses in the end.

Americans still don’t blame PBO for this dismal economy. See why the media and GOP are in a tizzy lately? They can’t pin the failings of the past on PBO. He is the one working extraordinarily hard for the American people.

59% still don’t blame President Barack Obama for the nation’s current economic conditions.

Oh, yes, meta – claiming all of Washington to do what’s best for our country = priceless!

I allowed myself 10 mins. of Friar Tuck Chuck Todd earlier on MSNBC. He was saying (as though only he had the inside dope) that the “White House” was making it clear that the one R they didn’t really want to run against in 2012 was Mitt Romney. Even though Chuck isn’t, I think we’re all smart enough to know that the Obama campaign is playing tricks with the media … again. It would be hysterical, if it weren’t so sad that the media doesn’t have a clue.

Nevertheless, this is going to be GOOD.
