Anyone who strap a dog carrier with a poor defenseless animal in it for a 12 hours drive is a heartless psychopath to me. No one with a heart would so such a cruel thing.

If you look at the way he conducted business, same thing, the man is heartless and cruel. It pisses me off when I see comments from the stupid angry left that says it would not be so bad if he wins, no difference with the President, that he’s not crazy like Bachmann lets say. He is as crazy, and he’s very dangerous.

Exactly. He is no way similar to PBO. President Obama never left a string of corporations and companies bankrupt after pocketing hoards of money. Business leader and job creator my ass.

      • August 11, 2011 at 4:19 pm

And what gets me Is that he and others are trying to sell themselves to the American People, and then talk *THIT* If we don’t like It. Well Buddy. you sure don’t have to woory about me voting for you, you said If we don’t like It, then vote for PBO. Can you Imagine that???????? If he speaks this way to the American People, and he’s not President, Lordy I just wonder how far he’ll dissrespect us as Humans. Ummmmm, he’s a NASTY Individual 👿

    • August 11, 2011 at 1:38 pm

this guy is such an idiot. Why was he yelling? Is this how he’s gonna debate PBO? If so, let the games begin. Idiot 🙄

Don’t know if it’s been reported here but Pelosi named Van Hollen, Clyburn and Beccera to debt super commitee—good group.
Can’t believe Mitt told Ia. audience that, “Corporations are people, my friends”. Ay yi yi. And he got shouted down by those angry about Repubs wanting to destroy Soc. Sec. and Medicare. Imagine!

And that was Romney’s defense of not raising taxes on corporations, saying entitlement programs need to be cut instead.
I couldn’t believe how Andrea Mitchell selectively edited that clip, showing a bit of the protest but mostly showing Romney yelling that Obama is destroying the economy. Then Mitchell says to Chuck Todd, “Romney gave as good he got, eh?” Then Todd said that his next question was from another angry person, pointing out the hypocrisy of Romney raising taxes when he was gov. when the state needed a financial boost. Romney—-a flip flopper on almost every issue. A hypocrite and fake to the core.

Yes, I do proudofobama. I am one, and we have had enough of these clowns. Enough of their awful talking points. Talk about what he is going to do. You think we are going to give thie back to these clowns after President Obama and Joe have worked their behinds off. Not way Mitty . Not now, not never. I am not being mean spirited, I am just not going to allow them to do this mess. And when I get upset, I go to work and let them know. I just do not come here and let off steam, I work my phone, my e mail, and I let them know what awful people that are to this nation. I have never put my mouth where my feet and hands will not follow me to get the work done.

This is a very nasty cocky person. I am glad we are working for a decent and respectful man. President does not yell at people and make them feel that they have no voice in these matters. These people are tired. I just think that Mr. Mitt could carry himself with a more compassionate and respectful way with the people. I do like him, and I never have liked him. Bring it on, Mr. Mitten.

Oh WTH, “I do NOT like him , and I have NEVER liked him.” Now the hell with him. I have my man, and he I President Barack Obama, and he will be re-elected again in 2012. We put our boots on the ground, our fingers on the computer, twitter, and our hands on the foors. Then do not forget to open up the check book. I am low today, but I cut out some of the paper goods, and are using my towels in the kitchen. I have to watch for bacteria in my cooking of food, and paper towels are easy for me. But hell, my grandparents and parents did not have paper towels, we use bleach and cloth napkings and dish cloths. I still use cloth napkins for my meals. They can stuff all this mess and loud yelling at these dear people. Wake up call, Mr. Mitty.

I don’t understand your posts HZ. How can you like and not like a person at the same time? Please clarify. It will be interesting to see Mitt and Dick go head to head. They will obviously be battling it out for the Teathug nomination. Bachmann, Santorium, Pawlenty, and Gingrich are just around for entertainment and continued Obama bashing. Gear up folks for the bumpy 15 month ride. 😀

Mitt Romney Heckled, Presidential Candidate Says Corporations ‘Are People, My Friend’ (VIDEO)

  7. August 11, 2011 at 1:15 pm

Romney’s rhetoric about 50% of Americans not paying taxes is rubbish. First off, low incomes (or, if you prefer, the standard deduction and personal exemptions) account for fully half of the people who pay no federal income tax. And the second reason is that for many senior citizens, Social Security benefits are exempt from federal income taxes. That accounts for about 22% of the people who pay no federal income tax.

This always makes my blood boil. Mittens can get a license plate sticker and the $100 means nothing to him. For some guy who needs his car to look for a job, that $100 can be a week’s groceries for his family.

That same guy is paying the increases in tolls, fees, property taxes, sales taxes and everything else. This barely veiled insult that 50% of Americans are ‘takers’ sends me over a ledge.

I love the local coverage of the President’s visit. It is exciting to have the President of the United States in one’s own town….I can hear it in the announcers’ voices.
My daughter and I were in Holland and Grand Rapids two years ago this month. Coming from dry Oklahoma, cool, lake-filled Michigan was such a treat. If you have never been there, the state beach in Holland is one of the most beautiful anywhere! Light, white, soft sand, good facilities, the beach is as beautiful as Bermuda. My daughter, brought up in Oklahoma had no appreciation for lakes. I spent my girlhood summers on a lake in Western Michigan, so I love lakes. We parked at the beach in Holland, behind the dunes and walked up the path. When we came up around the dunes and she saw the lake…she was awed! “It’s an ocean” she said. She had no idea why these five were called the Great Lakes. She loved it. In Oklahoma our lakes are manmade and filled with snakes and other critters, not fit to go into. It was exciting to take her to my girlhood home and have her see the beauty. I always wish the President could take time and enjoy the beauty on his trips…..he is working so hard for all of us!

    • August 11, 2011 at 2:06 pm

I love how the guy I’m listening to sounds like one of those announcers on Monday Night Football. Or those annoying people who keep talking when you are watching Serena or Venus kicking serious butt in Tennis.——- still, I’m glad PBO is getting the coverage he deserves.

Yes, Lisa. I watched it and was able to make comments before the President came out, and it was wonderful to hear how the respect was given to the President. However, they allowed us to make comments while waiting and during the speech. Some nasties, but there were a lot of excellent points made. I along with several others called out a liar for his lies. That is my way from this point on. Call them out with the truth. Love it. Now, I need to go and get a lovely box for more of my information papers and Presidential papers to store. I do not like papers showing, plus that liars just dug into my space(well I could not help it) I am tired of the lying on the President. Off to Tuesday Morning and Trader Joe’s/ I love you all back so very much. Really, I do.
