A person words are very telling. When he initially said it I believed him the downgrade was probably part of the scenario and 2 percent was the debt ceiling being raised. Such a moron. Before the 2010 election the plan was for the republican governors of important states for the general election was to changed voting laws, dismantle unions, and to break the spirit and the backs of the Anerican people. It seems that things are NOT working out exactly as the republicans planned, Mae. I think that they made a huge mistake when they decided to place a target on PBO’s back and decided to NOT quietly raise the debt ceiling as they had so often in the past. They allowed their hatred of him to come before working for the country and our citizens. They wanted all eyes on PBO and the dems, but they overplayed their hands, and now all eyes are on Boehner and the republicans. When he said that he got 98% of what he wanted, it implies that he also wanted the downgrade! His victory lap has turned into a crash and burn event. IMO, he is a stupid, stupid, stupid man who has no business being the Speaker.
