rusty, 98% honest

So, Standard & Poor’s downgrade the US credit rating after the debt ceiling saga/deal.

The Republicans blame President Obama for the downgrade.

But?

Ah, looks like Rusty Boehner is only apportioning 2% of the blame to the President. That’s good of him 😉

Thanks StR

And keep in mind that when the President first came out, he admitted that this wasn’t the deal that he would have preferred, but a default would have been far worse.

Yup, Boehner owns this one. The media is not going to change the narrative this time. We simply won’t let them get away with it.

Since the President has been in office it’s been one crisis after another. Most of it has been the obstruction and crisis caused by the republicans. It’s so hard to watch the destruction of our country and the millions of Americans who are suffering. We need to unite and demand a way to heal and repair the problems that are holding us back.

Much appreciated. This vid is short enough for even the shortest attention spans. Boehner got 98% of what he wanted and is happy, and McConnell is saying they’ll take the debt ceiling hostage again in 2013.

This is exactly what a lot of people have been tweeting on twitter. Boehner said he got 98% of what he wanted. Well guess what jerkface the S&P downgrade lies square at your feet.

A person words are very telling. When he initially said it I believed him the downgrade was probably part of the scenario and 2 percent was the debt ceiling being raised. Such a moron. Before the 2010 election the plan was for the republican governors of important states for the general election was to changed voting laws, dismantle unions, and to break the spirit and the backs of the Anerican people. It is praying time like never before. God bless the United States of America.

It seems that things are NOT working out exactly as the republicans planned, Mae. I think that they made a huge mistake when they decided to place a target on PBO’s back and decided to NOT quietly raise the debt ceiling as they had so often in the past. They allowed their hatred of him to come before working for the country and our citizens. They wanted all eyes on PBO and the dems, but they overplayed their hands, and now all eyes are on Boehner and the republicans. When he said that he got 98% of what he wanted, it implies that he also wanted the downgrade! His victory lap has turned into a crash and burn event. IMO, he is a stupid, stupid, stupid man who has no business being the Speaker.
