Great to hear from you, Chips!! Hope you’re having a crazy good time wherever you are! Your crew has been coming by each night to vacuum and restock the fridge.

I’m watching National Security Advisor Tom Donilon on Charlie Rose for the hour and he is so magnificent. The video will probably be available tomorrow and I recommend hearing his point of view about strategic global issues. PBO surrounds himself with the very best.

OMG, this guy is brilliant. It’s so reassuring that he is in this very important position advising our President. He really understands the issues but also has so much insight into process and teamwork.

NSA Tom Donilon really is brilliant and knows the ins and outs of national security and foreign policy like the back of his hand. Everytime I see him on the sunday talk shows, it further reaffirms my belief that PBO made a great choice in appointing him and the other top notch personnel.

Can’t wait for PBO’s townhall tomorrow. It’s gonna be informative and above all FUN!

I’m very proud of myself tonight, for I no longer watching Republican Ed Schultz and Jon Stewart! I’M DONE!

Wow, Ed must havew been besides himself tonight. My sister called me and tld me the same thing. I believe Ed is bi-polar or something. I haven’t been watching him but I know he is poisoning the minds of a lot of folks against PBO regarding this SS and medicare. I know Bernie Sanders means well and he is looking out for us, but I have been tuning him out lately also, because he always get that little dig in against PBO.

I tried to watch to see if there was anything new and had to turn the channel. He was foaming at the mouth. Ed is loosing it bigtime.

Same here. I’ve been tuning out Bernie Sanders for a while now. He doesn’t seem to understand the meaning of compromise. I tuned Ed out a long while back. I have enough stress with college and he just huffs and puffs like the empty gasbag he is. I watched Jon Stewart tonight and I have to say he was ok. He went after Allen West and his boorish behavior towards to Debbie Wasserman Schultz and I like how he tied Fox News and a whole bunch of other GOP folks to the lame non apology West said he gave. However, Colbert is freaking sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He is a joy to watch night after night.

his guest tonight was fricking awesome!!!! he should teach. His explanation of neurophysiology, neuropsychology and the neuroanatomy of the brain and the substructural contexts and processes were great! I loved what he said about our brain being made up of sub-parliaments of different political parties and how consciousness is just the tip of the iceberg and that a sudden idea is not your own but the results of days and weeks of neurons transmitting and generating information that then rises to the surface! So true! I have a love hate relationship with the brain. I hate the neurophysiological/ neuroanatomy part of the deal but love knowing the overall information about it’s processes. I hate memorizing parts of the brain, chemicals involved in neurotransmittion and what neurons do and how and what parts of the brain are connected to certain parts of the body and knowing the different nerves and what they do and blah, blah, blah. If Stephen’s guest had been my teacher for neuro, I bet I wouldn’t have sweated out my finals! Thank god that’s over 馃檮

I love neuroscience and reading about how the brain works, too. I wish I’d watched. That stuff is fascinating!

Your blood pressure – will thank you for it. Good Job Blue!

Thank you Chips – hope you are not missing out on fun by feeding us OBAMABOTS but sure love you for it!

    • July 21, 2011 at 11:52 pm

Look at it this way. You saved a few precious brain cells. It is so liberating not watching those people with their big egos. I used to find myself talking to the TV or more like yelling at it. I realized that it was not a good thing to end my night that way.

Wishing everyone a blissful night. Wake up tomorrow, listen to PBO do a swell job at his town hall. He will then go back to the White House to work hard for the American people, doing what he knows will be the best decisions he rests on for the good of Americans, especially those that are most vulnerable.

      PBO continues to inspire me.

All the other stuff is background noise to me.

I am also, Blue. You look out for your health. You only have one body, but they will find many more loud and negative on and off people like the one that you mentioned . Relax , okay. Take care of yourself.

I would imagine our President’s townhall tomorrow is going to be livestreamed on the WH website.

    • July 21, 2011 at 11:22 pm

I hope so. I doubt if any of the cable channels will be carrying it.

No they won’t. They do not like the President talking directly to the people. They prefer to run on silly rumors and speculation from “annonymous senior Democratic officials” which are now the basis of a poutrage diary on Old Orange.

  4. July 21, 2011 at 11:22 pm

Again, President Obama working so hard with a huge schedule. And those bozos in the rethug party who can’t govern and can’t even pretend to care about the Elderly or Veterans by staying in town until a deal is made.

I love it that he is taking his message directly to the people again. I love seeing the schedule because I lift him up in prayer and during my meditation of good and positive thoughts for him and our Vice-President and their staffers. God give them both wisdom, strength, and protection wherever they go each and everyday.

meta, we are so thankful that President Obama has surrounded himself with brilliant people. I like National Security Advisor Donilon. He seems to enjoy working for the President. I saw an interview with John Brennan. and he was asked a questions about a situation, and Mr. Brennan said,”Yes, and that is why we like to work for him.” Him being our President. We are so blessed that our President has the wisdom to choose wonderful people to work for him and our nation. We are with you, Mr. President.

I can’t listen to Bill Press anymore, he is a tool to get on TV. He has been bashing the President for a long time.

    • July 22, 2011 at 8:46 am

These people are so darn predictable, one could literally set their clocks by them. I mean, we see this every freaking time, and over and again they follow the same path.

And sadly, they just move on each time to create more controversy where there is none. The people I feel sorry for are those that take their bait over and again.

      Go figure.

      Good morning, everyone.

Those Progressives, do not want President Obama for a 2nd term, and doing everything they can to poison the public minds. They will be pushing Bernie Sanders or Dennis Kucinich to run against the President. You watch!
