Hey Me4obama I saw Jon Stewart’s skit with Jerry Seinfeld heavily hinting at the fact that Marcus Bachmann is definitely gay from the way he doth protest too much about gay people. The actress sounded exactly like Michele Bachmann and the heavy sweating from fake Marcus Bachmann as he forced himself to kiss his wife in order to defend traditional marriage was hilarious. But hey I wouldn’t expect any less from the folks at Second City, after all that’s where Maya Rudolph, Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Kristin Wiig and a whole host of SNL comics came from.

UT, I truly have a strong feeling about Marcus being Gay. I wouldn’t be shocked if he came out but girl that will blow the right wing brains out.

Soo funny and soo on point! Marcus is definitely gay. It’s usually the most homophobic people who are gay.

Lawrence has FINISHED Eric Cantor. Cantor who lied that he had never voted for a tax increase, actually voted for one in 2009. He went against his caucus and voted to raise income tax of the wealthy. That’s a “real” republican right there, lie lie LIE until Lawrence catches your lie and burns you with it. Genius!

Stephen Colbert wrapped up this segment on our debt ceiling kabuki theater by explaining Mitch McConnell’s brilliant strategy for putting an end to the negotiations.

COLBERT: Also, none of the above is the leading Republican presidential candidate. But McConnell… none of the above looks good. None of the above looks good to me. But, McConnell has a simple way out of this whole mess. To keep the Republicans from being blamed for raising taxes or defaulting, all they have to do is ask the President to submit a request to Congress to raise the debt ceiling. Then vote yes on a resolution disapproving of the thing they just asked the President to do.

Then Obama would veto the disapproval and since the Republicans don’t have the two thirds majority to override a veto, the debt ceiling gets raised and the Republicans get to say they voted against it, twice.

Just like in the classic Jimmy Stewart movie, Mr. Smith gives up and starts shooting people. It’s brilliant!

It’s brilliant. The GOP gets everything they want, except everything they asked for, and Obama gets stuck with what he wanted to begin with. And McConnell has got their nuts out of that vice… by cutting their nuts off and leaving them behind for Obama to hang from his rear view mirror as an air freshener.

Chipsticks, are you going to post the Political ads that Politico did get access to about Romney which were featured on Hardball and the Last Word..

Now, mcconell and Reid are saying that in the mcconell plan, the demands have grown. This is just passing the buck to the executive branch so congress does not have to take the tough votes.
The plan is still 3 delegate tranches of money, but now with corresponding and equal spending cuts. In other words, the president would decide which cuts to be made over a decade every time he raises the debt ceiling.

Reid is writing this up bc it gets his senators off the hook and puts all the pressure on the president.

He should have taken the clean deal yesterday, now the total responsibility relies solely with the president. Of course, it will have to BW veto proof, that is congress would need 2/3rds vote to over ride the presidents cuts in spending and no new revenue. Way to go Harry!!!!!!
You see, every man for himself in dc.
